At age 30, "Scandal" star Columbus Short is headed to divorce court for the second time!  According to Radar Online, the actor's second wife, dancer Tanee (Tuere) McCall-Short, filed for divorce in Los Angeles on September 11. She's seeking sole legal and physical custody of their daughter, Ayala, 19 months, as well as sposal support and ALL of her legal fees. The actor's first marriage to Brandi Short ended during the eighth month of her pregnancy after he had a brief fling with Britney Spears. Yes.....THAT Britney Spears! In 2004, he told STAR (via EW) magazine, "It's true I slept with Britney, [but] we never had sex because another person was in the room at the time. ‘We shared a bed and were really close,kissing and hugging. The chemistry was magical... our feelings were so strong. Britney's mom, Lynne, stepped in to prevent that as soon as our feelings started to develop. It would be fair to say Britney caused major problems in our marriage. Sadly, we're now getting divorced." MESSY. We hope Columbus has picked up a few tips from Olivia Pope on cleaning up his own "Scandal".  And does this divorce explain why Columbus was missing at the begining of this year during all the "Scandal" promo on both coasts?   In other breakups.... "Refill" singer Elle Varner has announced her split from NY Knicks baller Iman Shumpert, via her Twitter account. Although Elle isn't answering questions, she hinted that the glare of the public eye was putting a strain on her relationship during a recent interview with VIBE. "Making a relationship public draws a lot of scrutiny. It makes you think about something you were never thinking about before so I don't know if I would advocate public relations to folks but hey, it is what it is. We're good." HOME BOUND: Kanye West & Kim Kardashian CRUISING In $750K Lamborghini, CHeck On Their $11 Million Bel-Air Mansion Posted: 13 Sep 2013 07:50 AM PDT Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were spotted in their $750K Lamborghini Aventador heading to the site of their new Bel-Air digs.  Get deets on the property's construction inside.....   Kanye West And Kim Kardashian was spotted by the paparazzi and they drove to the exclusive enclave of Bel-Air, California where they're building their $11 Million love nest.  You'll recall that the couple purchased the property, where their new home is located, back in July for $10 million dollars.    The new McMansion is being built from the ground up as Kim and Kanye opted to have the original mansion gutted so they could put their own touches on the new 10,000 square foot home.  According to the Daily Mail, the 3/4 acre estate is being outfitted with some of the most luxurious furnishings in the world including four gold-plated toilets ($772,000) and nearly $1.2 million on six special-edition Savoir Royal State Bed luxury beds. If you're wondering why the beds are so expensive, they were created from a combination of cashmere, carded Virgin lamb’s wool and Mongolian horse hair.  In other words, unnecessary ish that makes Kim & Kanye feel good about life. NASTY NAS TURNS 40! Mariah, His Daughter Destiny, Melanie Fiona, JD & More PARTY IT UP Posted: 13 Sep 2013 07:07 AM PDT It was all about Nasir Jones last night as one of the best rappers alive turned the big 4-0.  And barely looks a day over 28.  Check out Nas, his daughter Destiny, his pops, Mariah, Melanie Fiona, and plenty more celebrating the QB emcee in NYC.... At NYC hotspot Avenue last night, Hennessy threw their spokesman Nas a dinner & afterparty in honor of his 40th birthday (which is tomorrow). His long time homie Mariah & her bling sling cozied up to the birthday boy as the group dined on a menu created by chef Mario Carbone.   And Jermaine Dupri was there too.  They so should have done a "Make It Last Forever Remix" performance.  Would have salivated all over that... After dinner, Hennessy Senior Vice President, Rodney Williams presented Nas with gifts to commemorate his 40th birthday, including an engraved bottle of Hennessy Paradis Impérial.  And the gifts kept coming with a custom, engraved Hublot Classic Fusion Classic Ultra-Thin timepiece featuring a "cognac colored" crocodile watchband.  Must be nice! We spy his daughter Destiny looking on.   Nas & his pink sateen dinner jacket got to chop it up with his fave person--his dad Olu Dara. While everybody sipped on those Hennessy V.S mixed drinks, DJ Mos and D-Nice were on the 1's and 2's.  And it looks like things got a lil cray:   Other folks partying it up:  Estelle, Tristan Mack Wilds, Q-Tip, Cassidy, Pusha T and more.  Where you been Dylan?!      Melanie Fiona was there looking cute. YBF KIDS DO NYFW: Kiyan Anthony, The Stoudemire Kids, Lil Jon's Son & More Hit KIDS ROCK! Fashion Show Posted: 12 Sep 2013 06:05 PM PDT No pretentious models here!  It was all about the YBF kids at the KIDS ROCK! runway show Wednesday at Grand Central Station.  Check out how the kiddies of celebs ended NYFW inside...     Carmelo & LaLa Anthony brought their cutie son Kiyan to the fashion show (dj'd by 10-year-old DJ Fulano!) featuring Nike, Nike SB, Levis, Converse, and Jordan.  And it was all put on by New York Knicks baller Amar'e Stoudemire's foundation.  Kiyan was part of the show and TheYBF.com caught up with the fam after he walked the runway. Reality star LaLa said about supporting anything her son wants, “I want him to do whatever he wants to do. He’s six years old so education is first and if he wants to do fun things like this I’m all for it. He’s working on school and being good in school.”   Amar'e and his wife Alexis brought all four of their kiddies to the show of course. While the few months old baby watched from nearby, NBA wife Alexis posed with their Ar’e, Assata, and Amar’e, Jr. Cute. "The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd brought her son Jeffrey Tarplay as she also opened the show. She was rocking a wig from her own wig line and told us about trying to get pregnant with her husband, Sal. “It’s always fun in the making; you have to embrace that part of it.” She said about her super energetic son's intro to the fashion world, "I just hate that somebody told him he’s celebrity now he thinks he’s the one with the money. I’m gonna set him straight when we get home.” Sherri revealed Jeffrey has a sensory overload sensitivity when he's around a lot of people due to previous developmental problems, but he rocked it out. Po Johnson came out to support her bestie LaLa's son Kiyan. Also, watch Andre Leon Talley explain why Russell Simmons should be banned from the front row at fashion week. In his latest single, former "Family Matter" star Darius McCrary (who's currently starring on the FX series “Anger Management) has released a single and music video for his song, ‘Get It, Get It.’ During a recent interview, he explained his foray into music saying, “Music is huge in my life. I’ve been doing music all my life. Acting is what I call the wonderful accident that God placed in my life.” Apparently this was Darius' version of sexy.  We're not too enthusiatic about the song and truth be told, he looks like he carries a medical marijuana card and had taken a lot of "medicine" before and during the video shoot.  But we're not judging....   And in club foolywang........ At the (26:23) mark of a video of what looks like someone trying to get a reality show, supposedly taken in August, two former NBA players, Stephen Jackson and Steve Francis, appear to be involved in a drunken club altercation. We're not sure what happened between the aspiring rappers (sigh), but the tape shows Stephen choking Steve.   After the choking incident, cops were called and they put a CLEARLY intoxicated Steve in handcuffs and escorted him out of the building. We guess it's the sad ballad of an ex-ball player.      And in interviews....   Andre Leon Talley talked to The Grio about the "politics" of sitting on the front row of a fashion show saying, “I think anyone that is a person of achievement on the front row that has achieved a great deal, be they black or white, is a good thing.” But when it came to placing Russell Simmons on the front row, Andre took issue with the recent Harriet Tubman sex tape scandal and said Russell should be banned from the front row! “I don’t think Russell Simmons should be seated on anybody’s front row this week after having done that disgusting Harriet Tubman sex tape. He is a man of great achievement. He is a great philanthropist….why would he think it would be an honorable thing to do? He said he thought it was funny. That is not funny it is outrageously disrespectful to the legacy and history of Harriet Tubman and to the struggle.” Mr. Andre Leon Talley has spoken.

Kelly Rowland Flaunts Her BANGIN' BOD For SHAPE Magazine's October 2013 Cover Posted: 12 Sep 2013 01:23 PM PDT Well if you needed some fitness motivation in your life, Kelly Rowland just came through in the clutch.  The "Kisses Down Low" singer is flaunting it all for the October 2013 cover of SHAPE magazine... All hail Ms. Rowland! The 32-year-old gorgeous gal is giving her workout secrets while rocking bikinis and crop tops in the brand new issue of SHAPE magazine. And if you thought this sick body came easy, think again.  The brand new "X Factor" judge works out almost every day of the week, usually with her trainer Jeanette Jenkins. “I work out five or six times a week. I feel better, look better, sleep better....Being fit makes me feel sexy. Isn’t that everyone’s goal when they work out, to look good naked?” And about the one body part she actually thinks is a flaw (silly girl): “As I’m getting older, the Rowland family trait of having bigger bottoms is taking its toll on my hips and butt. The other day, [my trainer] had me doing squats that were so hard I wanted to kill her. But my behind is getting higher and tighter. Exercise really does change your body.” She revealed her secret to controlling cravings: “When I want a steak, I grill some Portobello mushrooms and put a little goat cheese on them,” she says. “And I’ve learned to satisfy my sweet tooth by replacing Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups with half a tablespoon of almond butter on half a banana.” Kelly's talking about her new music, fitness favorites, and go-to playlist in the October issue on stands now.

FUNNY BUT IT SHOULDN'T BE: Charlemagne's DONKEY OF THE DAY For Homophobia Posted: 12 Sep 2013 12:47 PM PDT This morning on The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne awarded "Donkey of the Day" to homophobia.  Listen to it inside....   Now the Mister Cee has resigned from Hot 97, Charlamange used his platform on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club to address the REAL matters that seem to keep sending Mister Cee to the ho stroll:  homophobia and sex addiction.   Instead of tearing Mister Cee down (well, not so harshly), Charlamagne begged him to get help for his own issues and insecurities and blasted the public for the homophobia that keeps people in public roles (DJs, rappers, and singers) in the closet.  He later called out Hot 97 for exploiting Mister Cee's situation for ratings by doing an interview (for the second time). Also, Charlamagne revealed that Power 105.1 had "the tape" for over a week but choose not to air it because they didn't want to play right into the homophobia or exploit Mister Cee. So we gotta ask...can we get rid of the ways folks perpetuate of homophobia?   Listen above....

In the new vid, Jaheim makes a move on the married Mrs., and his woman and her real life husband Peter Thomas take matters into their own hands when they sense an adulterous affair starting.  And it all ends with someone in handcuffs. INSIDE NYFW: Our Backstage Quickie With Angela Simmons At ANGELA I AM Show + Karrueche, Tristan Wilds & More Support Posted: 12 Sep 2013 10:54 AM PDT YBF Chick Angela Simmons recently presented her brand runway items for her brand new company, Shop Angela I AM, during New York Fashion Week.  And we caught up with the budding designer & retail lover during her big show Tuesday night.   Check out her celebs friends who came out to support, and our quickie with Angela backstage.... Talk about sexy!  At the STYLE360 Pavilion during NYFW, Angela Simmons showed off her designer skills & curating skills by presenting her new Angela I AM items during her fashion show.  The many looks were from up and coming designers she is selling on her website, plus a few of her own designs. Angela rocked a red hot double thigh high slit gown with an open back cut out trimmed in careful beading.  And paired it with a pair of sleek black Louboutin pumps.  The dress was made by one of the featured designers, but the rest of the show was totally about Angela. Gorge. Karrueche Tran made her way to the Pavilion in a chic red pantsuit and her signature top knot bun. Angela's "106 & Park" co host (and ex boyfriend) Bow Wow stopped by to support with Sean Kingston. This fashion NO--Traci Bingham--made a random appearance.     Cutie Tristan/Mack Wilds was there for the show. Po Johnson rocked her eclectic look and grey hair upon arrival.   Ariane of "LAHH: AL" rocked her curls and an interesting look that made her look half her age.   Model Tyson Beckfrod was there with his neon green shoes to support.   Angela's looked simply fabulous on her big night. TV FAB: Nas Rocks "You Wouldn’t Understand” On "Arsenio" + Tami Roman Starts Filming "Tiny Tonight" Posted: 12 Sep 2013 09:42 AM PDT Last night, Nas appeared on The Arsenio Hall Show" where Arsenio explained how Nas inspired his return to television.  Watch Nas perform "You Wouldn't Understand" inside and see on the set photos from "Tiny Tonight" featuring their newest addition, Tami Roman. Cutie Nas appeared on "The Arsenio Hall Show" last night where he Arsenio revealed that a Nas lyric inspired his return to television.  Following the revelation, Nas (who turns 40-years-old on Saturday) went out to perform "You Wouldn't Understand" featuring Victoria Monet from his Life Is Good disc.  He told the crowd,  “Arsenio Hall is the official king of late night television. I’ve been watching you since I was a young boy and you have the best show in the world, so this is a big deal to me. I’m honored to be here.”     In other television news.... Now that Tamar Braxton has signed onto "The Real", "BBW" star Tami Roman has been added to the cast of "Tiny Tonight" which also stars Tiny,  Trina and others. The ladies taped a few episodes for VH1 recently and posted pics from the set on their Instagram accounts.   Tami (who's taking Tamar Braxton's place) tweeted, "Great day, fun times, Tiny Tonight".  Tiny said, "On set of Tiny Tonight with this ragedy door bout to have some fun tho!! Gonna be a good show..I feel it!!"
