WHO'S THE NEW GUY? Actress Rashida Jones SPOTTED Holding Hands With Her Man Posted: 05 Sep 2013 08:58 AM PDT "Parks & Recreation" star Rashida Jones was spotted walking through New York City yesterday with her arm wrapped around a nice looking man who is very likely her boo.  See the candids inside and get the latest on Rashida's career moves... Rashid Jones was spotted in New York City yesterday taking a stroll with a new man.  We know we've seen him before, but his name is still a mystery to us.  And no, he's not Clark Kent.   Rashia, who's already begun filming her last season with "Parks & Recreation", has a few tv projects coming down the pipeline. She and her sister Kidada continue making a name for themselves outside of daddy Quincy and are bringing a new series, "Ladyballs", to the CW.  Rashida will serve as co-executive producer. Rashida has also received a commitment from FOX to develop a new show called "Struck" with writer Alexandra Rushfield.  According to THR, "Stuck revolves around a middle-aged woman who works at a bank and gets her "stuck in childhood" daughter a job there. Within a day, the daughter becomes the mother's boss. The comedy will follow the duo at home and work as they help one another get "unstuck." " Sounds interesting. Congrats Rashida! "R&B Divas: LA" Reunion Gets Messy (FULL VIDEO) + Chante Moore, Lil Mo & Claudette Ortiz GO GLAM For Kontrol Mag Posted: 05 Sep 2013 06:33 AM PDT Chante Moore, Lil Mo, and Claudette Ortiz may have had to straighten out the drama on last night's "R&B Divas: LA" reunion, but they surely glammed it up nicely for their new cover of Kontrol magazine.   We've got the full reunion show video inside in case you missed it, plus the gals' new cover.....   Host Wendy Williams came with the questions everybody wanted to know last night (and so did TheYBF.com if you caught our cameo!) during part 1 of the reunion show.  So we finally got to the bottom of the Kelly Price mean-girl drama....and who was REALLY the brains behind the ladies getting together to do these monologues.  Well, kinda. Kelly & Chante Moore battled it out over who was approached first, what drama was started by the producers and more.  And then "Fred" from the show came on stage to attempt to straighten things out. It seemed like Kelly as trying her damndest not to lose her cool, and so was Chante.  Especially when she said the real reason why she was mad at Kelly quitting "every 3 days" was because she's got checks to get and child support payments to make.  SAY WHAT?! Get into the reunion below:   And as for the fab ladies rocking that Kontrol cover (atop), they didn't hold back with throwing shade at the other cast in ATL.  When asked in the mag what makes the LA cast different from Atlanta... And on why they decided to do the show: Lil Mo: I never thought in a million years I’d do reality TV but I’m glad that I did because it’s given me an opportunity to get back out there and really promote what I love to do which is music.” “I was asked about the Atlanta cast but when I found out about LA, I knew I was a better fit. Claudette: I’ve been approached to do reality TV but I wanted to make sure this was something worth pursuing seeing as I have three children. I didn’t want it to be exploitative and negative. Chante: I was asked to share my life and the focus was going to be on my music, that’s what I liked about it. NY FASHION WEEK KICK OFF: Nicole Richie's 4 Hot Looks At 2013 STYLE Awards (Plus Chanel Iman, The Stoudemires & More) Posted: 05 Sep 2013 02:00 AM PDT Fashion heads get in here!  Nicole Richie was the belle of the ball at Wednesday night's 10th Annual Style Awards that kicked of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2014.  Check out the host's 4 hot looks of the night, plus what Chanel Iman, The Stoudemires, Adrienne Bailon and more rocked: It's that time of year folks. New York Fashion Week has officially kicked off, and celebs turned up to the biggest opening day event last night at the Lincoln Center--the Style Awards. Fashionista Nicole Richie played host for the event honoring Model of the Year Kate Upton and had a few wardrobe changes.  And we loved 'em all.  First up, she hit the red carpet in an all black Pre-Fall 2013 Antonio Berardi look complete with a velvet crystal embellished cropped sweater and tailored trousers, all topped off with Vivienne Westwood Anglomania Isabelle pumps. She switched into a ruched red spaghetti strapped gown with gold jewelry.  Then rocked a mixed print look of a printed long sleeved pencil dress and leopard heels.  And then sparkled in a silver embellished jumpsuit, complete with pockets and a bust cut out.  What's your fave?   Also there was model and A$AP Rocky's girlfriend) Chanel Iman who made a bold statement in stark white. Nice.   Alexis & presenter Amar'e Stoudemire brought their NBA couple's style to the carpet last night.  Fashion lover Alexis, was in head-to-toe Lanvin including the jewelry.  She had a glam-mom moment while getting ready and posted a pic of herself feeding her baby boy Alijah while in hair and makeup.   Singer and TV personality Adrienne Bailon went for old Hollywood glam in this curve hugging fiery red strapless gown by Dolce & Gabbana.   And Nicole's co-host NY Giants baller Victor Cruz won Most Stylish Athlete of the Year.   The Style Awards will be broadcast on CNN September 14th at 7p.

Lamar Odom Checks Into Rehab + A$AP Rocky Slapped With Lawsuit For Slapping ANOTHER Female Fan Posted: 04 Sep 2013 06:28 PM PDT Lamar Odom has finally brought himself to rehab.  Deets inside, plus why A$AP Rocky is in trouble yet again.... Reports this evening state that Lamar Odom, who has been looking slimmer and slimmer lately (pictured above last weekend at Blockbuster), has entered rehab for drug & alcohol abuse. Two sources tell People, "He realized he needs help." Lamar has reportedly been struggling with an addiction to cocaine (allegedly crack) for at least 2 years now.  And he and wife Khloe Kardashian Odom have reportedly physically separated because of it.  After several failed attempts of interventions by the Kardashians, Lamar has finally given in.  We wonder if his new lawyer for that DUI of his, Robert Shapiro, had anything to do with it.  Supposedly, Kris Jenner asked Shapiro to rep Lamar because he has experience with addiction as his son died from it. Also, today, a man alleging to be Lamar's dealer came forward about selling Odom $16,000 worth of cocaine back in February in Lamar's hometown of Queens.   In other news, A$AP Rocky has done another foolish act.  he was just slapped with a lawsuit by a female fan who claims he slapped her during his concert at the past weekend's Made In America festival. According to TMZ, A$AP was charged with a misdemeanor over this debacle.  Here's the deets they gave:   The [young mom] claims A$AP was trying to make his way through a crowd of dancing fans -- with a bunch of girls pulling on his shirt -- when A$AP turned and fired off an open-hand slap, connecting with her face. The woman claims she was injured from the alleged slap -- suffering whiplash from the impact. Here's a thought--stop walking your happy ass through a crowd of hundreds of thousands of people if you don't want to be yanked.  Either don't walk thru, or deal with it, or have your security deal with it.  Slapping females or any fans is just ignorant.  Especially because this is not A$AP's first time slapping a female fan for the exact same reason.   Photos: Pacific Coast News/AjonBrodie.com

FINALLY MARRIED: Udonis Haslem & Bride Faith Rein Dish About Recent Wedding...And What It Took To Get There Posted: 04 Sep 2013 04:28 PM PDT Miami Heat team captain Udonis Haslem married his girlfriend of 14-years, Faith Rein, in a beautiful ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach a few weeks ago. Get the deets on their ceremony and long courtship inside. On August 24th, Faith Rein (shown above with her father Richard Rein) wed Miami Heat team captain Udonis Haslem, her long-term boyfriend, and the father of her two sons, Josiah, 6 and Elijah, 2. Culminating with a beautiful ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, it was a 14-year courtship with twists, turns and few minor setbacks. With their guests sipping on Debra’s Porch Swing Swizzles (bourbon, Velvet Falernum, ginger juice, mint syrup and ginger served in memory of Udonis' mother) in a silver- crystal- and flower-filled ballroom, it's hard to imagine that what initially struck Faith's interest in Udonis learning that he kept an illegal pitbull in his University of Florida dorm room!   In a recent New York Times profile, the couple, who met on campus, talked about their long courtship and some of the setbacks and challenges they faced as a couple. For starters, Udonis had a healthy fear of marriage. "I just didn’t know how to ask her to marry me. We had never lived together and while she comes from a home with parents who have been together forever, my family experience with marriage had been negative and painful. There was no happy ever after.” Also, the baller had a hard time confiding in Faith because of his own relationship and career insecurities.  Faith said, “He can go inside of himself when he feels insecure. I wanted to be strong for him and let him know he had to stay positive, that this setback did not change anything between us.” The couple also dealt with an abortion while they were still in college. “I am not a huge fan of abortion, but we both had sports careers, plus we could not financially handle a baby,” said Udonis. Faith added, “Udonis appreciated that I was willing to have an abortion. I found him caring, supportive, nurturing and all over me to be sure I was O.K. I saw another side of him during that difficult time and fell deeply in love. He had a big heart and was the whole package.” When it came to finally making it down the aisle, things began to change for Udonis in 2010 after the birth of their second son: “I loved her just as much then as I do now. She proved to be a strong family person and has helped me through rough times. She deserved to be happy, yet I was still afraid of marriage and had convinced myself that with a little more time it would all work out.” Finally, the Heat star was able to overcome his fear and he proposed on Aug. 29, 2012 during a trip to Italy. Faith said: "All of a sudden Udonis got down on bended knee, opened the ring box and asked me to marry him. I was shocked, but somehow managed a wide smile while blurting out, ‘Yes!’ ” The list of A-list notables at the nuptials included Dwyane and Gabrielle, Lebron and Savannah, Heat’s president, Pat Riley and rapper Flo Rida. They feasted on fried buttermilk-crusted chicken nuggets with waffles and other Southern comfort foods and had a live show from Wale (Faith's favorite rapper, whom Udonis flew in to perform for the reception).  Sweet! Congratulations to Udonis and Faith!   BONUS:   Udonis' teammate Dwyane Wade (who attended with his girlfriend Gabrielle Union) posted a selfie from the wedding with a very sentimental caption, "We all have had teammates and we've even been fortunate enough to have friends...but finding some1 you can call your brother is rare.... This guy @ud40 has always been my big bro.. So happy for him and his beautiful wife @faithstyleuncut and their boys. Congrats 2 Mr&Mrs Haslem." On Tuesday evening, the fabulous Tamar Braxton celebrated the release of her very hot Love And War album with an in-store "meet and greet" event at Best Buy in Valley Stream, NY.  The "Tamar & Vince" star had her parents Michael and Evelyn Braxton on hand to offer their support...and hopefully no fighting.  Tamar's husband, Vincent Herbert (not pictured) was also on hand.  But not her sisters.       Tamar posed for several selfies with her fans (the adults and the little one) with a line wrapped around the block and later tweeted, "Such a great #tamartians day turn out at #BestBuy #LoveAndWar #BeEpic. DOTING BALLER DADDIES: Amar'e Stoudemire & Reggie Bush Out & About With Their Fams Posted: 04 Sep 2013 01:49 PM PDT It's all about family time during the off season and pre-season.  Amar'e Stoudemire was spotted trekking it around downtown Manhattan with his wife and brood of kids.  Plus, Reggie Bush and his fianceé Lilit brought baby Briseis to LAX for one of her first plane rides!   Pics inside... It's the kids' first week back at school, so NY Knick Amar'e and wife Alexis walked three of their kids to school recently:   Papa Amar'e helped the kiddies cross the street while a Yankees hat wearing Alexis snapped an IG pic of their newest baby boy Alijah: Cuteness.  But there's looming news of a possible trade for Amar'e.  According to reports, the Knicks have been shopping the 6'10'' star for over a year to trade him.  Supposedly, they're looking to free up some money (he's got a big $45 mill contract) to grab a more explosive player to ball alongside Carmelo Anthony.  And with all of Amar'e injuries, it's no telling how long he'll stay a Knick...   And in other pro-baller daddy news: Detroit Lions baller Reggie Bush was spotted arriving at LAX and being the ever doting dad with his fianceé Lilit and their new baby girl Briseis Bush.  Recently, during an interview with the Detroit Fee Press, Reggie let folks know where his head is at now when it comes to relationships .  When asked about his ex Kim Kardashian bringing him into the world of celebrity limelight--which he's very uncomfortable with--he said: “It was whatever.  I actually prefer not to talk about that, just because out of respect for my fiancée and my child now. That was so long ago and that was a part of my life and it was what it was, just like any relationship. Find out where the ballers took their ladies inside... Last night, Andre Drummond, who plays center for the Detroit Pistons, was spotted on a date with his new boo, "iCarly" star Jennette McCurdy. Michelle chose a tight white dress with gold studs and sky high strappy heels, i.e. the baller girlfriend uniform, for their "date night" at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills.  And during a recent chat with the Detroit Free Press, Charlie revealed that he's become obsessed with tattoos and uses his arms as a canvas.  Obvi.   Also at Mr. Chow...... Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook dined at Mr. Chow with his girlfriend Nina Earle. Russell, who's known as one of the NBA's most fashion forward (or whatever you want to call it) players, told COMPLEX Magazine that he's fearless when it comes to his wardrobe choices.   “If you think about what other people say, then you have a problem. LOVE AND BASKETBALL: NBA Baller Derrick Rose's Baby's Mother Mieka Reese Dishes On Clothing Line, Derrick & Their Son PJ Posted: 04 Sep 2013 10:39 AM PDT Mieka Reese, the mother of Derrick Rose's son "PJ", has launched a new clothing line and we have deets on her new business venture plus her life with Derrick and their kiddie inside.....   Ever wonder how easy--or not easy--it is for the main chick of a professional athlete to start a business venture? Mieka Reese, the girlfriend of Chicago Bulls' point guard Derrick Rose, and mother of his toddler Derrick "P.J." Rose, Jr. has launched an exciting new clothing line called "Rich Girl Candy".  Mieka did a rare interview--she and Derrick had a bit of controversy with their relationship but now she's open to talking--and spoke to Gumbumper about her new venture that took her a year to start, and also talked about her supportive boyfriend, Derrick, and how my PJ inspires her.   Here are the highlights: How did you come up with the name “Rich Girl Candy”? We started with the idea of an online consignment shop for high end designer brands, so I wanted a name that would reflect that, women love shoes and handbag, sort of like candy, so just a fun play on words. Rich Girl Candy. As a brand, the rich in RGC is meant to represent abundance. To be rich with love, to be rich with happiness, and so on… Who and/or what inspired you the most? Since my son has been here, he alone is my biggest inspiration; I want to be a living example for him. How does it feel being a mommy who is on her grind? I love it, he motivates me to get it done everyday! Even when I don’t want to get up, the thought of him watching makes me want to make him proud. Did Derrick have any input on starting your line? Not so much, he allows me to do what I want and what makes me happy. He will give input if I ask. How supportive is he? Very supportive, he supports me and encourages me to do even more, I’m blessed. How does someone who wants to design their own clothing line get discovered? With the Internet and media at an all time high, it’s easier to get discovered than ever before. If you have a good product, post it, and have your friends wear and post it, you will be surprised who’s watching. Who would you say your line caters to? I would say ages 18-35; women on the go, something to wear while running errands, or picking the kids up, or going to a game with friends. June Ambrose Parties It Up With Tyson & Kimberly Chandler, Tristan Wilds & More At BOARDWALK EMPIRE Premiere Posted: 04 Sep 2013 10:07 AM PDT Celeb stylist June Ambrose brought her fabulousness to the red carpet last night to help kick off the premiere of the new season of HBO's "Boardwalk Empire".  Check out her celeb friends who brought their vintage fabness to the party as well... It was a fete fit for lovers of 1920's fashion and good tv.  VH1 star and stylist to the stars June Ambrose hosted the season 3 kick off of "Boardwalk Empire" at the Ziegfeld Theater last night in Manhattan and after party at Cipriani 42nd St.  And it also just happens to coincide with the upcoming kick off of NY Fashion Week.   June kept it gorge in an Alberta Ferreti frock, sexy Walter Steiger shoes and her Tom Ford clutch for the Roaring 20's themed event.   NY Knick Tyson Chandler, rocking a Docle & Gabbana suit, and his wife Kimberly made a golden arrival. Tristan Wilds, aka Mack Wilds, was there to support. Actor Jeffrey Wright made an appearance.   Tristan posed it up with singer Monifah. And can you guess who this is in the short bob cut?  It's Felicia "Snoop" Pearson from "The Wire"!  She donned a wig the whole night for the event and did some fun photobooth shots with her crew.  And she reunited with her former co-stars Michael K.
