MOVIE FAB: Paula Patton & Robin Thicke, Garcelle Beauvais, Lala Anthony & MORE At The "Baggage Claim" PREMIERE Posted: 26 Sep 2013 07:12 AM PDT Last night, Paula Patton, Robin Thicke, Garcelle Beauvais, Lala Anthony, and other Hollywood stars walked the red carpet for the "Baggage Claim" premiere.  See the pics inside....  Paula Patton donned a lace detail dress as she walked the red carpet for the Baggage Claim premiere last night.    Paula was escorted to the premiere by her husband, Robin Thicke. Reality tv star LaLa Anthony is among the film's stars. She shared her special red carpet moment with her father.   Jill Scott, whom we've watched blossom into a consummate actress, also has a leading role in the film.   Terrance J, who just wrote his first book, The Wealth Of My Mother's Wisdom, walked the red carpet with two lovely ladies, including his mother Lisa Gonzalez.   "The Game" star Lauren London didn't impress us with her red carpet look. Jenifer Lewis looked radiant.  We love her afro! Actress Naturi Naughton roared down the carpet in an animal print skirt. "DWTS" star Christina Milian celebrates her 32nd birthday today. "New Girl" actress Porscha Coleman looked pretty in pink. "In The Company Of Friends" star Vanessa Bell Calloway walked the red carpet. "Fire" singer Michelle Williams is dropping her Journey To Freedom disc on January 21, 2014.   Jennia Fredrique posed for the cameras. Actor Brian White posed with his wife Paula Da Silva. "Baggage Claim" screewriter/director David E. Talbert celebrated his success with his wife Lyn by his side. Miss Jay smiled for the cameras. "Necessary Roughness" star Garcelle Beauvais looked mesmerizing....literally. Gloria Govan and Matt Barnes were there. Boris Kodjoe looked very dapper on the red carpet. Singer LeToya Luckett showed off her amazing body. Tank showed off his pec muscles. Veteran actor Leon came out to support the film. Funnyman Rickey Smiley cracked a few jokes with the photographers.   For the afterparty......   The films' stars, including Jenifer Lewis, Joyce Patton (Paula's mom), Paula , Robin Thicke and Gloria Loring (Robin's mom) headed to the Conga Room.   Funnyman Affion Crockett also appears in the film. RUMOR CONTROL: Rihanna's Stylist Yusef Williams Says Rihanna's Not A Cyber Bully, He Meant No Harm + Lamar Odom On An "ALLEGED" Crack Binge With Two Women (UPDATE) Posted: 26 Sep 2013 05:31 AM PDT Rihanna's stylist Yusef Williams is speaking out against claims that Rihanna is a cyber bully. See what he said inside and see why friends are claiming Lamar Odom never slammed his father on Twitter and what folks ae saying about his "alleged" crack binge.   Rihanna's stylist Yusef Williams (aka the man underneath the wig and snapback) is speaking out on behalf of his viral video that sparked a fight between Rihanna and Teyana Taylor.  In a statement to EnStars, Yusef praised Teyana's singing voice and explained how he ended up in that wig!   "Honestly, I just finished making the wig. I started making the video. It was amazing, no malicious intent towards Teyana. I just think it was uncalled for. Teyana killed that song." He went on to defend Rihanna by saying she isn't a cyber bully and doesn't have time to go back and forth with Teyana. "She [Rihanna] could care less. It was funny. Thats whats so funny. It wasn't like that. She doesn't care., that's her personality. " He continued..... "Cyber bully is harsh word. She is focused, being Rihanna. She is not sitting around. She didn't grab her phone. She is the most kind and giving person. I just think for that to go the way it went, it was uncalled for." Before he closed, Yusef did throw a slight jab at Teyana.  He said that the Twitter war actually worked in her favor because she has a new album coming out. "It turned into this big drama, but I guess it was all good at the end of the day to help with her new album. A little publicity doesn't hurt good or bad these days." Yusef....throwing shade?     In other news..... Friends of Lamar Odom are saying that he did not write the tweet that slammed his father as deadbeat!  While we were a little suspicious of the articulate tweet too (mainly because it painted the Kardashians in a glowing light), friends of the former NBA baller told TMZ that Lamar doesn't have internet access and was unaware that his father had done an interview.   TMZ's sources report that Lamar "is unbelievably paranoid about anyone knowing his whereabouts by tapping his phone. He has a 15-second rule in the house -- no one can be on his phone for longer than that. " (UPDATE ) There are now more details about Lamar's whereabouts and what he's been up to.  TMZ is now reporting that Lamar is on a crack binge with two young women in a private home 100 miles outside of L.A. Multiple sources told TMZ that Lamar's driver shuttles back and forth with small quantities of drugs (including crack).  Also, the sources claim Lamar is "paranoid" about being watched and has installed a phone app that deletes his texts once they are read. The app also notifies him if the recipient tries to screenshot the message. So where does Khoe fit into all of this? The "sources" are saying Lamar believes she will stick by him. Emily teamed with PYNK Magazine for the presentation where guests enjoyed drinks by D’ussé and complimentary manicures by #HerNailsRock!. Fashion lover Emily (shown above with dancehall star Mr. Vegas) told TheYBF.com about her event, "I'm excited to collaborate with Rocawear and be able to give some of my insight on the new collection. It's dope, young, fun and it's about time we did something cute for the ladies." While laughing it up with PYNK Magazine publisher Mecca Moore, Fabolous' girlfriend also told to us about her next big move saying, "My shoe line will be available before the Holidays, along with the new season of Chrissy & Mr. Jones. Two New Cast Members Spotted Filming "BBW: LA" With Jackie Christie Posted: 25 Sep 2013 06:11 PM PDT VH1 finally copped a couple new cast members for season 3 of "Basketball Wives: LA".  Check out who vet Jackie Christie was spotted wining and dining with inside.... The "BBW: LA" cameras are currently rolling, and Jackie Christie was spotted filming with two newbies at Toast in Hollywood yesterday. While everyone surrounding the show is remaining mum on who exactly they are, we've figured out that one newbie is Brandi Maxiell (she looks to be  the woman in the middle). She's the wife of NBA player Jason Maxiell, who currently plays for the Orlando Magic, and she's one of Malaysia's best friends (pictured above shopping with Malaysia and Draya a few weeks ago). We actually featured the couple's tear jerker of a wedding back in 2009 as Jason stuck through his wife as she battled ovarian cancer. We do know Gloria & Laura Govan will not be returning.  And Brooke Bailey said she won't be either.  So that leaves Jackie, Malaysia, Draya and the newbies. What We Learned From DMX's "Dr. Phil" Interview... Posted: 25 Sep 2013 04:05 PM PDT DMX's "therapy" session with Dr. Phil aired today.  And we have the interesting things we learned from it inside...   Dark Man X had a sit down with Dr. Phil on his talk show.  X says he's been "sober" for a year--and we learned "sober" for DMX means he's stopped all drugs EXCEPT weed and alcohol--and he did seem more cognizant and more "himself" than that doomed Iyanla Vanzant interview. A few notable things X revealed: 1.  Dude has 11 children with 6 different women--and he has a 12th on the way! While X told Dr. Phil he thinks it's OK to keep having all these kids as long as he can care for them and spend time with them, he also admitted he's over $1 mill behind in child support.  And he says it's because he was once making $13 mill, a year and the child support demands were based on that.  Alrighty.   2.  A family member gave DMX marijuana at age 8. "I don't know why.  At 19 [I had a drug problem].  I'm always going to have a drug problem.  I don't have to get high.  I smoke weed, I drink, yes.  And one day that will be gone.  My faith is in God but he's not going to remove it all at once.  I'm taking steps and taking steps with him to get where I need to be."   3.  The rapper has been arrested 25 times...since 1994! He said, "Whatever's happened, it was supposed to happen."   4.  He ran bucked naked in that Detroit hotel strictly because of a bet. "It was a bet, it was a dare.  And I did it. The dare was order room service, then run through the hallway naked.  I said, 'I'll do that.'"   5.  He doesn't regret ANYTHING....and we mean ANYTHING. When asked about what he feels his biggest mistakes were, he said, "I wouldn't redo anything.  It got me right here where I am right now.  I'm in a good place.  No regrets."   6.  He went on "Couple's Rehab" simply to appease his now ex-wife X revealed he and ex-wife Tashera Simmons were not attempting to get back together when they went on VH1's "Couple's Rehab" recently.  Tashera said she had some things to get off her chest, so he agreed to go on with her.   Peep part of the interview below:

See party pics and video inside.... TV personality Christina Milian, who's been turning heads as one of the break-out talents on "DWTS", celebrated her 32nd birthday with a huge bash at the Supperclub in LA last night. Christina and her partner Mark Ballas heated up the small screen last night with the Paso Doble.  And then she headed over to her big b-day party.   While rocking her huge ring, Christina inadvertently confirmed her engagement to record exec Jas Prince when reporters overheard her telling the valet that she was waiting for her fiance (see video below). And folks spotted something else:    "ET" host Rocsi was spotted boo'd up with the "King of Twerk" Juicy J.  Now that we think of it....they make a great pair.  Between Rocsi's work with underprivileged youth and Juicy J's scholarship fund for "twerking", it's obvious that they are drawn to each other's charitable works.       TGT singer Ginuwine was spotted at the party. The Game was spotted with a bottle of Ciroc and Versace chains and a t-shirt.   Singer and former "DWTS" contestant Mario came out to party with Christina. NY Knicks baller Amar'e Stoudemire & his wife Alexis looked stunning as they headed out to the Lincoln Center Plaza for date night.  And what better NYC date night than opening night at the Metropolitan Opera. Alexis looked gorgeous in a black strapless haute couture Giambattista Valli gown, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Nicholas Kirkwood custom shoes.  And the mom of four rocked the look flawlessly. The Stoudemires attended with the newly retired (and the new co-host of NBA TV's returning show "NBA Inside Stuff") Grant Hill and his stunner of a wife, singer Tamia. She rocked a sexy one shoulder nude & black Zuhair Murad gown for the big night. First Look At Jay Z's Holiday Collaboration With BARNEYS + Samuel Jackson Criticizes President Obama For Not Being "Presidential" Enough Posted: 25 Sep 2013 01:15 PM PDT Jay Z is prepping for the holiday season with a new partnership with Barney's.  Get the deets inside and see what Samuel Jackson had to say about Barack Obama acting "more presidential" and kick the butts of Republicans.   Previoulsy we told you that Jay Z was teaming up with Barney's Barneys New York for the Holidays, and now we've got the first look at their new collaboration. The luxury department store recently revealed their new logo and Jay's rep tweeted "#BNYSCC !!!!! PROUD to announce the collaboration between Shawn "JAY Z" Carter and BARNEYS NEW YORK !!!! 1 year in the making !!!!"  We'll keep you posted about the items the two have created together....   In "WTF" news...... In the October 2013 issue of PLAYBOY Magazine, (because this is the perfect place for this type of discussion...) Samuel Jackson accuses President Obama of trying too hard to "relate" Americans and being "too safe".   The magazine asked Sam him to speak about politicians who seem to "dumb" themselves down to appear more relatable to voters.  Samuel accuses President Obama of doing this and asks, "How the fuck did we become a society where mediocrity is acceptable?" Yes, Sam is saying some things that may quickly come up in our own thoughts, but dude actually says it. Here we go.... PLAYBOY: Or a society that views graduating from college or grad school as elitist, or one in which President Obama or other highly educated Americans consciously drop gs off the ends of words to sound like Joe Average? JACKSON: First of all, we know it ain’t because of his blackness, so I say stop trying to “relate.” Be a leader. Be fucking presidential. Look, I grew up in a society where I could say “It ain’t” or “What it be” to my friends. But when I’m out presenting myself to the world as me, who graduated from college, who had family who cared about me, who has a well-read background, I fucking conjugate. PLAYBOY: With your and your wife’s militant revolutionary background, how political are you today, especially having told Ebony magazine in 2012 that you wanted President Obama to “get scary”? JACKSON: He got a little heated about the kids getting killed in Newtown and about the gun law. He’s still a safe dude. But with those Republicans, we’re now in a situation where even if he said, “I want to give you motherfuckers a raise,” they’d go, “Fuck you! We've been rolling with Coolio since before the "Gangster's Paradise" days.  But that was before we knew what was really under those hats: Last night in London, Coolio took the mic to perform his hits, we assume.  And just when we thought he would be cutting this double sprout look off some time soon to just do something different, it doesn't look like it's happening anytime soon. SPOTTED: Missy Elliot & "Friend" Hit The NYC Streets With Designer Patricia Field Posted: 25 Sep 2013 11:44 AM PDT It's been a minute since we've seen Missy Elliot out and about.  But the VA chick was spotted walking the East Village Manhattan streets yesterday with a "friend"--who is also her new artist Sharaya J.--and famed fashion deisgner Patricia Field.  Does someone have a fashion project on deck?   She's always been known to rock out-there looks and have fun with fashion and her videos.  So seeing Missy Elliot out with "Sex & The City" & "The Carrie Diaries" designer Patricia Field makes us wonder....does the VA singer/producer have something fashion worthy up her sleeve?   Recently Missy wrote Fantasia's "Without Me" banger, which also features Kelly Rowland.  And we're still blastin' it....   The Randomness: 1.  Zoe Saldana put her L.A. home on the market for $1.9 mill, now that she's secretly married Marco Perego.  STORY 2.  Paula Patton "backed it up" on Al Roker this morning on the "Today" show.  Drop it low then Paula... Music artist Teyana Taylor called into Hot 97 this morning to speak out about the nasty Twitter war that erupted between her and Rihanna.  Hear what she had to say inside... Teyana Taylor has some things to discuss after the nasty war of words that popped off on Twitter and Instagram between herself and former friend Rihanna.  Teyana said she's been in the studio focusing on her music and had no idea why Rihanna would throw shade at her (with that video of Rih's hairstylist Yusef seemingly mocking her singing).   She went on to call Rihanna a cyber bully and said, "She had dope music and she's a pretty girl. But that don't mean that you can just bully anybody."   Teyana also took issue with Rihanna claiming that her net worth was $90 Million while Teyana's net worth was $500K.  Then she clapped back Riri by calling her "industry pussy" and saying her body count was right up there with her net worth! Lamar Odom Slams "DEADBEAT" Dad For Trashing The Kardashians, Daddy BACKTRACKS On Lamar's Drug Problem + The Game Denies HE'S The One Who Hit Brandon Jennings, Both Hit NBA 2K14 Party Posted: 25 Sep 2013 10:13 AM PDT Unsigned baller Lamar Odom is blaming his deadbat dad for his "downfall" and has blasted him for attacking the Kardashians.  Read what he wrote inside and see what The Game said about his alleged brawl with Brandon Jennings.     A few days ago, Lamar Odom's father gave a scandalous interview to Radar Online where he trashed the Kardashian family and blamed THEM for Lamar's drug addiction.  Well....that didn't go over very well with Lamar.  Though LO has been off the radar supposedly handling his drug problem, he resurfaced on Twitter to call his father out for being a deadbeat and he even linking his own "dark time" to his father's demons and drug addictions.   The biggest slap in the face came when Lamar called his dad a deadbeat and is convinced that the Kardashians are the ONLY family who has even loved him and have not expected something in return.  His tweet is below in full: Meanwhile, it does "appear" that Lamar's wife, Khloe, is holding on to the marriage.  She was spotted out partying with The Game a few night ago BUT she did wear her wedding ring (though it was concealed in pics).   But wait, there's more..........   Daddy Odom seems to have had a change of heart (and mind) now that he's pissed off his alleged meal ticket.  As quickly as Lamar's tweet hit, Daddy Odom has begun singing a different tune.  Now he's telling TMZ that Lamar is "clean" and the Kardashians are a "wonderful" family.  We think he's afraid his allowance is about to get slashed.  You be the judge...   And in club dust ups......   Rapper The Game is denying reports that he punched out NBA baller Brandon Jennings (both shown above at the NBA 2K14 premiere party at Greystone Manor on Monday) .  Hip Hollywood reported that the men got into a nasty fight this past weekend at the LA Hotspot Lure during their "Toxic" day party.  The report read,  Jennings was at Lure hosting his birthday party with friends, which didn't sit well with the Compton rapper who frequents the club. “Game feels like Toxic is his, and he didn't like that Jennings was hogging the microphone. He felt like he was being disrespected,” one person who witnessed the altercation tells us. “Game tried to have words with him, and it just escalated quickly and Game hit Brandon in the mouth." Since the story went viral, The Game has gone on record to deny hitting Brandon. During a recent radio interview, the rapper said, “I get a bad wrap, but between you and me, I ain’t had a real good solid fight since I beat up 40 Glocc. I didn’t punch that dude in the face. I was right there. Some words were exchanged and they [hit him]. I seen it, but it wasn’t me.” Meanwhile HH reports that Brandon tweeted, "Sucker punch when I wasn’t looking. PS, my face is great. Looks the same. See!!!” So....it looks like one of The Game's crew member hit Brandon.
