MODEL BEHAVIOR: An EXTRA Blonde Beverly Johnson, Iman, Liya Kebede & More Hit The GLAMOUR Women Of The Year Awards Posted: 12 Nov 2013 09:05 AM PST Models Liya Kebede, Iman and Beverly Johnson put their fabulousness on display last night at the 2013 GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards at Carnegie Hall in New York City.  Peep the pics inside and why Liya was honored for her fab charity work...   Women like "Girls" creator Lena Dunham, activist Malala Yousafzai, GLAMOUR's cover girl Lady Gaga and more were on hand to receive awards at last night's big event. But it was Liya Kebede, along with Christy Turlington Burns, who lit up the carpet before receiving The Role Models award. Through their foundations—Christy’s Every Mother Counts, a campaign to end preventable deaths caused by pregnancy and childbirth around the world, and the Liya Kebede Foundation, which supports maternal health care in Ethiopia—both women are working to make motherhood safer for women everywhere. Iman presented to both of her longtime friends.  Fab!   Liya looked stunning in her black & white partly sheer sparkling dress. She also brought her kids Suhul and Raee along. Loving this chic look for Iman. And we barely recognized Beverly Johnson.  She threw on a bleached blonde wig--one from her own line we assume--for the hot event.  The legendary model tweeted about being honored to be in attendance as GLAMOUR mag is where she got her start.  But this wig though...   Gayle King rocked a brightly printed look for the red carpet.   "The Today Show" co-host Hoda Kotb kept it simple in a little black dress.   Check out Liya & Christy's shot in the new issue of GLAMOUR:   Liya said, "Thank you @glamourmag and @cindi_leive!! Former "ANTM" Runner-Up Eugena Washington STILL Smizing And Posing...With 50 Cent's Ex Daphne Joy Posted: 12 Nov 2013 08:26 AM PST Popular "ANTM" runner-up Eugena Washington is experiencing a surge in popularity on the pages of major magazines and on television.  Find out what she's been up to inside.... Remember Eugena Washington?  She's now a popular print and runway model who first rose the national recognition as the cycle 7 runner-up on the CW's hit series "ANTM".  Since her cycle went off the air, Eugena has managed to parlay her 15-minutes into a successful career as a working runway and catalog model.  And chick is still gorgeous. Shown atop with Daphne Joy, 50 Cent's baby momma (who reportedly sued him for domestic abuse), Eugena was spotted out at RivaBella in West Hollywood last night where she celebrated everything going on with a girls' night out.  In addition to a spread in the September 2013 issue in ESSENCE, Eugena just wrapped up a new commercial for LEXUS which she shot with hottie Laz Alonso. Along with a host of music video appearances, Eugena also has ad campaigns for Clinique, T.J. Maxx and the Kardashian Kollection for Sears under her belt. Kevin & Torrei Hart Throw Son Hendrix A Lavish SKYLANDER 6th Birthday Bash! Posted: 12 Nov 2013 07:30 AM PST Over the weekend, Torrei and Kevin Hart hosted a star-studded 6th birthday party for their son, Hendrix Hart. And it looks like Torrei had a few possible "Atlanta Exes" cast members there too.  Check out the celeb friends who came out to party and deets on the lavish celebration inside... Kevin Hart joined forces with his ex-wife, comedienne Torrei Hart, to throw their youngest kiddo a SKYLANDER birthday party at Torrei Hart’s ranch-styled home in the suburbs of Los Angeles this past weekend. Since the twosome have been co-parenting 8-year-old Heaven and 6-year-old Hendrix fabulously post-divorce (and even with Kevin moving on to a relationship with model girlfriend Eniko), the party went off without a hitch.   Both parents snapped super cute pics with little Hendrix. All the kiddies who attended the “Skylander” themed party received VIP treatment from the moment they entered. Torrei Hart’s living room was converted into a candy shop decked out with candies ranging from sweet to sour and kids.  On the wrap around deck, there was a full service catered buffet, a custom made photo backdrop for the kids and families to take candid shots, an exotic face painting station where kids could transform into their favorite characters, a silly face photo-booth, cotton candy and popcorn stations, a medieval jousting ring, and an airbrush artist on site creating customized t-shirts for the kids. Whew! Torrei's place was also laced with 3 industrial sized air jump playpens. Before each guest left, the parents were given gift bags and the children got Skylander backpacks filled with goodies.  Talk about going all out! Torrei's friend Laura Govan was there with a few of her kiddies.   Kevin's "Real Husbands of Hollywood" costar Boris Kodjoe brought his kiddies Sophie & Nicolas.   And Cee-Lo's ex-wife, Christina Johnson (who may be one of Torrei's co-stars on "Atlanta Exes") was there with the couple's 14-year-old son Kingston.  Also there but not pictured: Niecy Nash, Big Boy (Radio Personality), Gloria Govan, Jada Paul (Chris Paul’s wife), and Keisha Epps (Omar Epps' wife). We're told that "Torrei and Kevin agree that clear and positive communication has been an effective tool to their successful co-parenting."  After their highly publicized divorce a few years back, they realized that the media played a critical role in how things went down. So Torrei stated at the party they are in a great space to create a loving and nurturing environment for their kids. Gotta love that!

On 11/11/2013, The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Peete star Jordin Sparks released her sexy single, "11:11 (Wish)". Written by Elijah Blake and produced by Salaam Remi, the baby-making song has Jordin crooning to her lover Jason Derulo and wishing for an everlasting love. She tweeted, “I wanted to give my fans a lil somethin…hope you enjoy. Free music! HOLIDAY HOTNESS: 'The Best Man Holiday' Cast & R. Kelly Hit The NYC Premiere! Posted: 11 Nov 2013 11:01 PM PST As November 15th creeps closer, the cast of The Best Man Holiday is on a full out premiere & promo tour around the country.  And last night, the sexy YBF folks headed to NYC for another premiere.   Check the pics inside... It was a New York Special Event hosted by director Malcolm D. Lee at The Bow Tie Chelsea Cinema in New York.  The Best Man Holiday castmembers Harold Perrineau, Nia Long, Sanaa Lathan, Taye Diggs, Melissa de Sousa and Terrence Howard kept it festive as they promoted their upcoming sequel flick, which we're sure is going to blow up the box office this Friday.   The ladies posed it up with a leather clad R.Kelly, who appears on the film's soundtrack. Nia Long was white hot in this Cushnie et Ochs curve hugging square neck dress, a black & gold Giuseppe Zanotti clutch and black studded Saint Laurent pumps.  And a red lip to boot.  Freaking fabulous look for the mom of two. Sanaa Lathan also showed off her snatched curves in a teal cap sleeved body con dress with peep toe black pumps.   And blondie Melissa de Sousa rocked an eye popping Herve Leger 'Brookelle' embellished hand-crafted dress for her big night.  And she completed her look with silver peep toe pumps and a small silver clutch. Mrs. Anthony looked fab in this gorgeous Michael Kors gown and sheer lace pumps as she hit up at Manhattan’s Spring Studios for the 10th annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund dinner.  And her Armani-rocking hubby, Knicks baller Carmelo Anthony, was her date on his night off. Hot.   Balmain's brand new Creative Director, Olivier Rousteing, was front and center posing for pics. And, of course, La caught up with her bestie CiCi as they got photobombed by Melo. Future Talks Babies & Ciara Befriending His Baby Mamas & His Mom + Ciara Pops Backs Posted: 11 Nov 2013 05:04 PM PST Wondering what was going through Future's mind as his new fiancee' Ciara was posing it up backstage at his concert with majority of his babies' mamas?  He spoke on it this morning.  And Ciara gave her 2 cents too.  Check out what both had to say inside...     When CiCi posted the above pics of her and Future's baby mamas--along with a pic with her future mom-in-law Ms. Stephanie--folks were wondering how THAT happened.  Well, Ciara hit up Drake & Future's concert in Atlanta a few nights ago and apparently, many of Future's baby's mamas were invited.  Somebody had to watch all his kids. Folks around the net had some things to say about all this odd lovey-doveyness that seemed to cross the line of "cordial."   So when Future hit up the Rickey Smiley show this morn, he addressed some things. On whether babies are on the way "Everything's going as planned.  Everything's going well." (Mmhmm...)   On what makes her special and how she befriends his babies' mamas "Man, her personality.  Even with being at the concert yesterday, I had my kids, I had my kids moms and she just catered to everybody. Just showing everyone hospitality. I mean you can’t get a girl that just get along with your kids moms and get along with your mom that can just mingle with your family and bringing everybody together and just want that to happen. Sometimes they just want to beef and bring or split everybody apart. But she’s the kind of person she want everyone in the same room." "That’s a real woman. You call the kids and you check up on them. We’ll bring them over and want to spend time with them. Sometimes when you already have kids before you’re in a relationship, a girl that just like despise your kids don’t even want them around. They're jealous of your kids. SWEETNESS: Beyonce Sings "Irreplaceable" With Blind Fan Sophie Kotkis In Australia Posted: 11 Nov 2013 04:05 PM PST During her tour stop in Perth, Australia, Beyonce made the day of a little girl who's blind.  Watch the clip inside...   During the "Mrs. Carter Show" tour stop in Perth, Australia, Beyoncé made a dream come true for Sophie Kotkis, a 13-year-old legally blind girl with hearing and muscle difficulty.  The two sang a verse of "Irreplaceable" together in the middle of the concert.  The Perth News reports that Sophie's older sister Ellie Kotkis had organized the special day for Sophie by writing a letter to Beyonce.  Ellie said,  "She had no idea that she was going to sing with her.  It was amazing. Beyoncé is her favorite. When ‘Single Ladies’ came on, she jumped up and was dancing, and everyone was watching her dance. She's still on cloud nine today. There's been a lot of things in life that Sophie hasn't been able to do, but she loves music, loves to dance and loves to sing and this was just something for me to show the world how amazing she is."   Watch Bey and Sophie here..... In other Beyonce news, a new biography written by Hollywood casting director Jen Rudin revealed that Beyonce was considered for the role of Princess Tiana in Disney's Princess And The Frog, but was turned down because she refused to audition! Porsha Stewart Defends Being Spoiled + Spills More Tea About Kordell Break Up Posted: 11 Nov 2013 03:20 PM PST Porsha Stewart, who is now 32, hit "The Wendy Show" today. And she was given the real deal. The "RHOA" star was told by Wendy she comes off spoiled, coddled and not smart.  (And truth be told, as flighty as this chick has been we are SHOCKED at her age).  But Porsha said that's only one side of her that was shown (was it?) and admits to taking on the old school housewife role herself....  Porsha popped up on "Wendy" today looking fabulous as usual in a cream belted peplum top and skirt with caged bots.  But there was business to discuss. The reality star agreed it can be detrimental for a woman to be spoiled by the people around her as it doesn't help her become the woman she needs to be.  But she says her mama--who gave up HER master suite in HER house when Porsha moved in and cooks for her all the time--gives her "the real" while she's doing all those things for her. If she says so... Here are more highlights: On being the old school Housewife Kordell seems to have wanted If anyone decided to be a 1950's housewife, it was me.  I was an independent woman, I had my own businesses and I was the boss.  I had a lot of responsibilities.  So when I met a man that I could just cater to and make him my world, I decided to be that way with him.  I decided to make him and his son [Sire] my everything. On being locked out after coming home late I had a couple drinks with NeNe, we had filmed all night.  I had gotten home around 11p maybe, and I was on the phone with NeNe while this happened.  I puled up tot he house and there was a SECURITY GUARD there.  I puled in my driveway and he tells me "I've been told to not let you come into this residence."  It got really ugly really fast. On if Kordell is gay What I can tell you is this--whether he was gay or on the down low, that had nothing to do with our breakup.  Quiet honestly.  The breakup had to do with the treatment that I was having as a wife....I didn't know about him until he came to a family event.  After a few family events I said I have to talk to him about the [rumors].  He was very detailed about the situation and he said it can't be true because there's no record.  So it can't be true b/c there's no record. Sigh.  Would love to know which businesses she was the boss of and where they are now. Anywho, Porsha revealed that once her and Kordell got married, 5th grader Sire moved in with them.  She says the Sire's mom moved to L.A.  Not sure why his mom didn't take her son to L.A. with her....or if Kordell wanted full custody of the child to avoid child support (and him getting/being married helped his case in doing so). In about 30 days, the divorce will be finalized.  And yes, Porsha says she's keeping the last name "Stewart".  She says it's not HIS name, it's hers because she became a different woman while being married. PARTY FAB: 2 Chainz, Kanye West & Q-Tip Celebrate Leonardo DiCaprio's 39th Birthday Posted: 11 Nov 2013 12:47 PM PST Over the weekend, 2 Chainz and Kanye West rocked the mic at a private party celebrating Leonardo DiCaprio's 39th birthday.  See performance clips of the duo performing "Mercy" and "Good Life" inside..... Kim Kardashian and Kanye West made a quick trip to the east coast last night where they joined 2 Chainz, Q-Tip and others at NYC’s TAO Downtown for Leonardo DiCaprio's 39th birthday.   It was a weekend full of "surprises" for Kanye as he was 2 Chainz's surprise guest at Leo's party, just after he made a surprise appearance at the Odd Future Carnival on Saturday.   Check out a few Instagram clips of the two on stage here:   2 Chainz tweeted, "Honored to say I had a chance to perform for Leonardo Dicaprio at his bday party s/o to Yeezy".  And there's lots of clips to giv eyou a feel of what went down: Also, remember that Anchorman 2 cameo that Kanye West filmed a few months ago?  At the EMAs, anchorman Ron Burgundy (AKA Will Ferrell) hinted that Kanye and actor Paul Rudd are making an entire Anchorman 2 album.  We figure it's all a big joke.....but wouldn't that be interesting? Get More: Music News     BONUS: 2 Chainz latest video is for the Mike WiLL Made-It-produced track "Fork".  In the Parris Stewart-directed video, the rapper imagines what life would have been like if his rap career didn't explode. The song appears on his sophomore album B.O.A.T.S. II: #METIME. Oh, and speaking of the EMAs:   Miley Cyrus appeared at the 2013 MTV EMA's at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands this weekend.  For her latest attempt at trying hard to be "down", she wore an anti-violence themed outfit that paid homage to hip hop legends Notorius B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur.  Or...we think that's what she was attempting. Posted: 11 Nov 2013 11:44 AM PST Kerry Washington is LUCKY's cover girl for the December 2013/January 2014 issue.  Check out her wintery cover pic inside that has folks loving it and hating it... Well, LUCKY magazine isn't one that's well known for being well experienced with black cover subjects.  So when "Scandal" star Kerry Washington's winter cover hit the net today, it had some folks crying foul. Yes, the makeup and lighting could have been better, but we love her and her fabness nonetheless. Kerry responded to the mag tweeting out her new cover by saying a simple, "WOOO HOOO!" And she didn't let today go by without saluting our vets for Veteran's Day: With gratitude for those who have served and sacrificed... DO WE LOVE IT?: Mariah's "The Art of Letting Go" Posted: 11 Nov 2013 10:48 AM PST Mariah's brand new single "The Art of Letting Go" just had its world premiere.  Decide if we love it inside... MiMi just released the title track off her upcoming 14th album via her Facebook page.   She told her fans: "This is such a personal record to me. I wrote the lyrics so that anyone and everyone could relate to them and hopefully release anything that they need to let go of that's holding them back or bringing them down. Thank you for sharing this experience with me!" Mariah elaborated about the track to Mashable saying this song is about the "ability to let go of things, people, emotions, situations, anything that has bogged you down for a long time."  She continued: "I like to leave things very ambiguous so my fans can interpret the songs in the way that they choose to, and that's why I never really say, 'Well this happened to me," she says. "Sometimes it's a true story, every single word of the song, and maybe this one is, too, but you'll never know."   And she posted the above pic saying: Thank you guys for being here with me this morning, we're having a festive Facebook brunch moment (a.k.a. splash), you know I just woke up. SNEAK PEEK: Kendrick Lamar Covers GQ 'Men Of The Year' Issue, Talks Drake + Drake's "Worst Behavior" Video Posted: 11 Nov 2013 09:39 AM PST Kendrick Lamar is now taking on the fashion world.  Check out how GQ made the rapper one of their Men of the Year inside, plus peep Drake's new "Worst Behavior" video... GQ magazine's annual Men of the Year issue is here.  And for their Rapper of the Year, it looks like K Dot has snagged that crown. The 26-year-old Cali native has been making all types of waves in 2013.  And fresh off winning a Soul Train Music Award Friday night, Kendrick Lamar has landed the cover of GQ mag. And now that the "Control" beef with Drake is in the past, he gave the mag a little insight into where the two rappers stand today. He said that they're "Pretty cool," but added: "I mean, I would be okay if we weren't." And as for why he made it a point to go to Diddy's MTV VMAs afterparty and not the actual Award show: "I only go when there's a point. Usually the point is just niggas drinking. But walking through the club the week after I released the 'Control' verse? That's a point!" Got it. The "Men of the Year" issue of GQ is on stands now.     And speaking of Drizzy, he's on the music video tip today with visuals for his new single "Worst Behavior." He brings in his dad Dennis Graham, Juicy J, since the vid was filmed in Rock N Roll's home of Memphis, and Turk. The track is the next single off his now platinum Nothing Was The Same album.
