Ashley Reid: Violence Is Not What I Represent, But I'll STILL Defend My Mother Pebbles! Posted: 08 Nov 2013 08:55 AM PST Ashley Reid still has some things to say about the friction between her mom Pebbles and TLC.  This time, in a statement, she's apologizing for threatening violence.  But she says she's not sorry for defending her mama... After popping off extra recklessly about TLC's drama with her mom, Ashley Reid put out a statement to smooth things over.  Somewhat.  She previously attacked Chilli for performing oral sex on her father during their "affair"  And she accused T-Boz, Left Eye and VH1 of ruining her mother's credibility with false accusations regarding their wack contracts and alleged money stealing. So Ashley released a statement explaining why she popped off:   Being tactlessly defensive is a choice, and may not be the most effective. It was my choice. Violence is not what I represent. For those that know me, either personally, through my weekly radio talk show, or my art- they know that I am a passionate person with no filter, that what I said, was in anger. In anger, many things are said out of intense emotion. The same applies to a desperate attempt to threaten credibility, defame, and villainies someone’s character in order to generate publicity. That was TLC’s choice. My voice is my own and is not reflective of my mother’s opinion. Despite the lies and slander depicted in the movie and over the past 20 years, my mother loves TLC and always has. Under no circumstances will I ever apologize for defending the people I love and what I know is right. DO-GOODER: Wale Makes A Much-Needed DONATION To Grambling State University's Football Team! Posted: 08 Nov 2013 07:46 AM PST Rapper Wale came to the rescue in Grambling, Louisiana, giving the Grambling State University football team a donation they'll use to improve their facilities.  Get the deets on his "good deed" inside....   A few weeks ago, we told you about Grambling State University's football team going on strike in response to the inferior facilites and equipment they are provided by the university.  Now, rapper Wale (who attended Virginia State and Bowie State) has stepped up to the plate and gifted the football team with a much-needed donation. The "Jesus Piece" rapper (shown above with GSU students) was booked to perform at GSU's homeciming on November 1st.  And while on stage, he announced that he and his management team would be sending a check to the university for new uniforms and equipment for the football team.  And if you're wondering how bad it got for the team: They were expected to rise to the occasion and win games with worn-out equipment and surrounded by exposed electrical outlets...   Thanks to Wale for being a celebrity who gives back!   Photos via Agency for Artists (AFA)

Blac Chyna Gets In Where She Fits In At Kris Jenner's Birthday Party, Takes Baby King To Lunch Posted: 08 Nov 2013 06:51 AM PST Now that LaLa & Ciara have been replaced by Blac Chyna as Kim K.'s best black friends, Tyga's baby's mama is all up in the family functions.  Pics inside of what she's been up to lately with her new friends...   From the stripper pole to becoming the main chick and baby's mama of YMCMB rapper to befriending the Kardashian-Jenners for some mainstream publicity, Blac Chyna seems to be on a mission lately. She hit up Kris Jenner's 58th birthday party this week at the Jenner home in Calabassas (where Chyna & Tyga also live).  She posted a pic, of course, to show the world the budding new friendship.  She's been on lunch dates with the Kardashian sisters, Kendall's birthday party, Vegas for Kim's b-day and invited her new bestie Kim over for her baby boy's birthday party. She also posted a super cute pc of baby King Cairo before they headed to a mommy-son lunch date yesterday. In the new trailer, we see Mary Jane drowning in a sea of her own thoughts. Kandi Burruss Blames Wendy Williams For Making Her Mother HATE Todd! Posted: 07 Nov 2013 04:25 PM PST Been wondering why Kandi Burruss' mom cannot stand her fiance Todd Tucker?  Kandi broke it down today explaining how Wendy Williams is to blame... "RHOA" star Kandi Burruss dished to ABC News Radio Online today about why folks have a problem with her man.  While some folks think Todd is out for his own personal gain, her own mother has taken it a step further and is seen trying to physically fight about it in the show's season promo. So what's making Mama Joyce so mad?  It's not because she's getting kicked out the guest house (at least that's not what Kandi says), it's all because Wendy Williams called Todd an opportunist on her show. Why Mama Joyce Hates Todd: "I can tell you when it started. Last year when Wendy Williams was commenting on our show every week and she was like, '[Todd's] an opportunist. I think he's an opportunist.' Next thing I know, my momma comes back and is like, 'Wendy said that he was an opportunist.'" How Mama Joyce Has Halted Wedding Planning: "I haven't decided yet if I want something that's small and just us or if we wanted to do something bigger and invite people. What was stopping me from even planning is the fact that my mom is not being supportive. It's like, okay do I really want to have a wedding and my mom may not show up or if she does show up she's going to be mean and negative? You know, you don't want the bad energy either." Why Kandi Still Loves Todd Despite Family Rift: "I just love everything about him...He's very smart. He's very intelligent. He's a leader. He's not the type that's going to try and tell me what to do, but he's great at helping guide me in a way. And I think that I need a man that's just as strong so he can deal with me because...I can be a little strong." TV FAB: Ashanti's Lands Role on LIFETIME's "Christmas In The City", Guest Stars On "Law & Order: SVU" (FULL EPISODE) Posted: 07 Nov 2013 03:35 PM PST Singer Ashanti recently landed a pair of gigs on the small screen.  Find out what she's up to inside and get the latest on her musical endeavors.   On Dec. 7th at 8 p.m., singer Ashanti will appear in LIFETIME's holiday film "Christmas In The City" as a consultant named Teanna.  We love a good Lifetime Holiday movie.  Hope the acting isn't along the same lines of what went down on that last season of 'Army Wives". It looks like the "Rain On Me" singer has formed a great relationship with the network as she previously starred on that series. And, last night, the pretty singer guest starred "Law & Order: SVU" where she played a celebrity judge.  She starred alongside “American Idol” alums Clay Aiken and Taylor Hicks on a singing competition called “American Diva.” By the way, Ashanti hasn't totally abandoned music for Hollywood. In fact, she's still releasing Braveheart this winter and is featured on Rick Ross' latest single "I Got It." Watch the full "SVU" episode below:

Watch the clip inside and see what Sherlita Patton allegedly claims she found on Big Boi's phone!     On VH1's Big Morning Buzz, "Chrissy & Mr. Jones" stars Chrissy Lampkin and Jim Jones talked about the face tattoo that crazy tattoo Jimmy got of Chrissy's face. When asked about the new ink, Jim said, I've had the tattoo for a long time...its on my forearm.  While grabbing his own arm, he jokingly added, "Whenever she gets mad I can choke her." Chrissy jumped in, "Yea...keep choking that arm and not me." When asked how she felt about the tattoo, Chrissy said, "It was very weird when I saw it.  I was like, we'll never break up now.  I'm stuck with him forever. I didn't know how to take it.  But that's love.  It felt good to see." So what could Jim do if they ever broke up?  Chrissy said,  "Put circle with a line through it." CreamBMPDaily reported that Sherlita, who recently filed for divorce, made allegations that she found XXX pics of Big Boi's Outkast bandmate Andre 3000 in his phone.  YIKES!   She allegedly said, "The whole world wondering where Andre 3k been …just check Big Boi’s phone. DATE NIGHT: Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz Dance It Up At A Birthday Party Posted: 07 Nov 2013 02:06 PM PST Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz were spotted dancing the night away in NYC recently.  Check out the cute couple inside...   Alicia Keys was spotted getting loose before her annual Keep A Child Alive Black Ball (which goes down tonight in NYC) at a birthday party of a friend this week.  And the "Girl On Fire" chick held hands and danced with her hubby Swizzy all night. Idris Elba SUPPOSEDLY Has A New Boo...And A Baby On The Way Posted: 07 Nov 2013 12:02 PM PST Word on the internet streets is that Idris Elba has squashed the hopes of women around the world and knocked up his new bo, a makeup artist.   Deets and pics inside... We usually take what The Sun says with a grain of salt....but this time it may hold some water. The fineness that is Idris Elba showed up to the Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year awards in London yesterday with a "mystery woman" on his arm.  But it turns out, she's not a mystery afterall. She's makeup artist Naiyana Garth.  She lives in London...and she appears to be pregnant. *GASP* The Sun reports that a source told them: 'They've been together for a few months but it's really ramped up recently. They get on brilliantly and she's a real hit with his family and friends. 'Idris is known as a ladies' man but he's really not at all. He'd rather have banter at the bar than spend all night grafting on women. Although he doesn't have to try anyway, women flock to him.'   Oh really? And there's more.  This wasn't the first public appearance she's made with the Mandela star.  They hit up the Dior at Harrod's launch together back in March. As soon as the rumor of their alleged relationshp and even more alleged baby hit the net, Naiyana up and deleted her Twitter account.  Trying to hide something? LUNCH DATES: Lamar Odom SPENDS 34th Birthday With Friends AND Wife Khloe + Evan Ross DINES With Girlfriend Ashlee Simpson Posted: 07 Nov 2013 10:13 AM PST Lamar Odom was seen leaving lunch yesterday.  Find out how he celebrated his 34th birthday inside and see Evan Ross leaving lunch with his girlfriend Ashlee Simpson.   Yesterday, Lamar Odom was spotted leaving the Casa Vega Mexican restaurant where he celebrated his 34th birthday over lunch with a couple of friends. The previous night, sources say Lamar partied with his wife Khloe Kardashian at the Calabasas home of Kris Jenner (who celebrated her 58th birthday). A source told US Weekly, "Khloe and Lamar started talking again. Over the last few days they started talking all the time. So [on Tuesday] she invited him to Kris' birthday party. He had a great time." Also, it was revealed that Khloe made special plans for Lamar's birthday at their home. "Khloe invited him over and has a little party planned. It may be just the two of them -- he doesn't know yet. But he is hopeful and going." In other Khloe/Lamar news, word on the street is Khloe's trying to unload the mansion she lived in with Lamar.  She has quietly listed the home they shared for a whopping $4 million and people "in the know" say Khloe really wants to "move on".  Chick knows how to send mixed signals then doesn't she....   In other coupledom news..... RUMOR CONTROL: Friends Of Will And Jada Say Will Was "Just Goofing Around" In SEXY PHOTOBOOTH Pics With Co-Star Posted: 07 Nov 2013 09:36 AM PST Friends of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith are shooting down rumors of marital problems between the two, saying "suspect" pics of Will with his co-star Margot Robbie were just them "goofing around". More inside.... "Suggestive" pics of Will Smith in a photobooth with his much younger Focus co-star Margot Robbie appeared in Star Magazine this week, prompting some folks to suggest that Will and Jada Pinkett Smith were on the rocks (SIDEBAR: We haven't seen the couple together since they were in New York City with their children in August, but Will's currently filming a movie in New Orleans). In response to the rumors (and pics), friends of the couple have spoken to US Weekly shooting down rumors of a split. "They're not hooking up", one source said in response to photo booth pics Will and Margot took at the film's wrap party. In the pics, Will and Margot raise up their shirts and make a few playful gestures that some could interpret an romantic. Another source told the mag, "That was a photo booth on set that the producers got for everyone. It was the last day of filming and everyone was taking pictures. They were just goofing around. Will is just like that. There's nothing more to it. Everything with them is great." If that weren't enough to hush "cheating" rumors, a third source told E! News, "These pictures were commissioned by production. The entire cast and crew saw them taken. The photo booth was on set all day for a bit of fun. It wasn't even a party—they were taken during the day and everyone knew about them. It was the last day of shooting. Will and Margot are absolutely just friends, that is all." Will and Jada have been shooting down "breakup" rumors for years....there's no reason for this one to gain any more traction.  Let's let them live, shall we...
