Rihanna's Confession: Why She's Keeping Chris Brown In Her Life, Criticism Or Not!!!

Finally!

After months of speculation and eyebrow raises, Rihanna has opened up about keeping in touch with Chris Brown.

The man may have brutally beat her, but somehow she's able to keep a respect for the hip-hopper and even blow us away with their incredible music collaborations.

According to Rih, she is fully aware of the criticism swirling around her reignited contact, but that's not going to stop her from following her heart.

She says of the whole ordeal:

I respect what other people have to say. The bottom line is that everyone thinks differently. It's very hard for me to accept, but I get it. People end up wasting their time ranting away, and that's all right. I don't hate them for it. Because tomorrow I'm still going to be the same person. I'm still going to do what I want to do.

But don't think she hasn't learned or gained anything from the 2009 beating. She firmly states:

It gave me guns. I was like, well, f*ck. They know more about me than I want them to know. It's embarrassing. But that was my opening.

That was my liberation, my moment of bring it. I wanted people to know who I am. Whatever they take that to be, good or bad, I just want them to know the truth.

I have more freedom the more people know about me. It's like, one less skeleton in the closet, one less burden, one less secret; now you know that, so you can say what you want about it. I don't have anything to hide.

And we all heard those guns shoot on Rated R!

Also, like we've said before, we may not be comfortable with her moving forward with him, but it's her prerogative to live her life and present herself however way she wants to.

We know she's smarter than a lot of people are giving her credit for.... We just hope his actions will reflect the faith she has in him!!!

William And Kate's Wax Figures Come To NYC!

Wanna hang with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge? Starting today, YOU CAN!

At least if you're in New York City and aren't allergic to wax. To mark the upcoming one year anniversary of their marriage, Madame Tussauds New York has unveiled the royal couple's wax figures.

This isn't a cheap imitation of them either! According to a Tussauds spokesperson, both William and Kate have been actively involved in the $200,000 (each) preparation of their likenesses. In a statement announcing the unveiling, the wax company wrote:

"Madame Tussauds enjoys a close relationship with the British Royal Family dating back to William IVth who was Monarch when the first attraction opened in London in 1835. The current Queen has been modeled by the attraction over 20 times and has given the studio team six personal sittings over the years. Their Highnesses have been closely involved and kept informed at every stage of the process."

We think these creations are some of the most marvelous wax figures to date too! Kate looks lovely in an exact copy of the Alexander McQueen gown she wore to the BAFTA Brits to Watch Awards, while William looks as handsome as ever in a Gieves & Hawkes two-piece tuxedo.

Dannii Minogue and Kris Smith are dunzo!!

After four years of love and commitment, the two have decided to call it quits, leaving one another with the highest of respect.

In an official tweetment, Dannii revealed:

It brings me great sadness to tell you that Kris & I have separated. We still care for each other & ask for privacy at this difficult time, in particular for our son Ethan who remains our number one priority.

Aww, little Ethan! Such a cutie!

Dannii then went on to tell her Twitter followers that she needed to retreat for a bit... totally understandable... so don't expect too many updates just yet!

Sigh... welp! We're always sad to learn a love isn't working out anymore, but if it's for the best, it's for the best! And we have a feeling Dannii is gonna be juuuust fine!

We love you, gurl!!

Well, you know what they say -- one's company, two's a crowd, and three's a pAArty! Ha!

The triple date all went down Saturday night at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, where Rob, Kristen and Katy were seen seemingly having a good time on the patio!

An insider reveals:

"They are obviously very close to Katy. She was very happy having her girls' night out, but when Rob and Kristen arrived she was really pleased to see them. The group seemed to be having lots of fun together. They were laughing a lot and were really enjoying themselves."

Not a bad power couple to be friends with, Katy!

As for the R.Pattz and K.Stew PDA?

An onlooker spills:

"Rob and Kristen weren't overly affectionate in any way; they were not holding hands, but they stayed by one another's side all night. It was obviously a very low-key night for them as they were not dressed up at all."

Seems like Katy and Kristen have been getting pretty close to BFF status...and who would mind super hot Rob tagging along?!?

Kevin Bacon & Kyra Sedgewick: Distant Cousins?!

Woah! Talk about bizarre!

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgewick, the married couple of 23 years with two grown children, are actually distant cousins! No, seriously. We are not joking. This is NOT a joke.

However, the key word is distant. They're distant cousins... OK? That's not creepy. Not one bit. Nope. It is not creepy...

Harvard scholar Henry Louis Gates, Jr. confirmed:

"They are indeed distant cousins. So talk about six degrees of separation, right?"

More like your six degrees of bacon! Are we right or are we right? Anyone? Anyone?

Anyway, the PBS show about genealogy, Finding Your Roots, discovered the link between the happily married cousins by tracing their DNA.

I mean come one! We've heard about being close to your family but this brings that to a whole new level. Actually, like three new levels!!!

Gates, quotes:

"I want ... Americans [to] realize how united we are as a people. ... There's so much animosity ... and one of the things that I want the series to do is to show that, deep down, we are all Americans. We've been sleeping together from the very beginning of the country."

Whitney Houston's Last Recordings Will Be Featured On The Sparkle Soundtrack!

This is all very bittersweet.

Whitney Houston did not only complete her last acting role before her tragic passing earlier in the year with the Salim Akil-directed remake of the musical drama Sparkle, in which she stars as the mother of Jordin Sparks' character, but she also contributed some of her last vocal work for the film's soundtrack, including a R. Kelly-penned duet with the American Idol alum called Celebrate!

Akil explains:

"It's just an upbeat, fun song with two women who can really blow. It's just one of those kind of songs. There's no other way to put it. You've got two strong women who can sing their asses off. It's upbeat and they're trading off like Coltrane and Cannonball Adderley."

And Sparks elaborates:

"I actually just heard a cut of it the other day and my jaw was on the floor. For me as a singer growing up listening to her, to be able to do a song with her is incredible. And being her friend, just hearing how she sounded, it was amazing. So I can't wait for people to hear that. I cannot wait. I remember them playing the demo for me and R. Kelly is singing them and I'm looking at everybody going, 'I get to sing this song? Are you serious?' I was very excited. My fans are going to see a different side of me, because it's deep R&B. It's got that old '60s flair. It's just really emotional and super connected."

Such a shame that this will be the last time we ever hear that stunning voice, but to be frank, we're just grateful that we have the chance to!

This isn't going to be an easy one to watch, folks.

But at least we'll get to see her one last time, looking and sounding just the way she'd want to be remembered. And doing what she loved!

R.I.P. Whitney. You are deeply, deeply, deeply missed.
