BABY FAB: Rasheeda & Kirk Frost's BABY SHOWER For "Karter Forst" With Erica Dixon (And Her NEW Man), Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks, Toya Wright & MORE....... Posted: 13 Aug 2013 09:08 AM PDT "LAHH ATL" stars Rasheeda and Kirk Frost celebrated the upcoming birth of their son Karter with their friends "RHOA" star Kandi Burruss, the show's creator Mona Scott Young, "RHOA" star Phaedra Parks and more.  See the shower pics inside.... Despite what you've watched on "LAHH ATL" this season, Kirk and a glowing Rasheeda Frost look like they've worked through their differences and seem genuinely excited about the upcoming birth of their son Karter Frost.   SEEM may be the operative word her. The couple recently had their baby shower in Atlanta, attended by many of their celeb friends. Kandi Burruss, who's one of Rasheeda's closest friends, posed with Nivea at the party.  Is everything OK Nivea? And Rasheeda's BFF Toya Wright took a few pics rubbing Rasheeda's baby.   Mona Scott Young came out to support Rasheeda and Kirk, posing alongside fellow "LAHH ATL" star Erica Dixon (along with her super cute daughter). And Erica showed up with her new boyfriend, model Oshea Russell.  And of course, Erica and Oshea have been hit with rumors and gossip. Erica responded, "Our journey isn't over but we believe. #faith #blessed #favored and were both GAY but you thought you knew."   Oh...we guess someone said Oshea was gay.  Maybe they should ask Nikko & MiMi Faust how they handled it all... Forest & Keisha Whitaker, Oprah, Lee Daniels & More GLAM UP The Hollywod Premiere Of "The Butler" Posted: 13 Aug 2013 08:15 AM PDT The star-uhs hit the red carpet of the Lee Daniels' The Butler premiere in Hollywood last night.  Check out Forest Whitaker & his fam, Oprah, Lee Daniels and plenty more inside....   Star Forest Whitaker kept it dapper on the carpet with his wife Keshia and daughter Autumn at the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live. The stylish couple made sure to keep it regal last night.  Forest was in head to toe Prada alongside his wife Keisha in a Romona Keveza dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, Paolobongia and Angel Hart jewels and a gold Swarovski clutch.  Lovely looks.  Just wish these weren't the most awkwardly posed pics ever.   Oprah rocked a hot pink long sleeved faux wrap dress for her big Hollywood premiere.  She posed it up with her on screen hubby. Terrence J. got to interview is idol Oprah on the red carpet.  And he gushed all about it on Twitter saying, "After all these years I finally got to interview my idol, Oprah Winfrey. She was beyond my expectations. I'm inspired, humbled, & motivated." Sweet!   Co-star Cuba Gooding, Jr. brought his sheer & leather rocking wife Sara on the carpet.    Actress Kym Whitley, who has her reality show on the OWN network, hit the carpet to support her boss Oprah.   Co-star David Oyelowo, who plays Forest & Oprah's son in the movie, brought his wife Jessica on the carpet.  The two are from England and booked it to L.A. for David's acting career.  And they have two kiddies together. David posed it up with his co-star Elijah Kelly. David and his director Lee Daniels hugged it out on the carpet. Russell Simmons made his way to the premiere to show some support. The ladies also made appearances--Gladys Knight, Shaun Robinson and Holly Robinson Peete were all there.   "Grey's Anatomy" star Jesse White hit the carpet looking yummy. And over at the Ritz Carlton for the after party: Kym Whitley snapped a pic with Lady O.   The fellas Cuba & Lee showed their...support for each other. And all the co-stars posed for a group pic: Actors Aml Ameen, David Oyelowo, Jesse Williams, Jane Fonda, James Lawson, director Lee Daniels, actors Oprah Winfrey, Alex Pettyfer, Mo McRae, Forest Whitaker and Elijah Kelley. FOOLYWANG: Mama Dee's Drunken Foolery, Calls Erica Dixon A "Wildebeast" + Soulja Boy KICKED OFF Airplane For Being UNCOOPERATIVE Posted: 13 Aug 2013 07:13 AM PDT A drunken Mama Dee got "turned up" and lashed out at fellow "LAHH ATL" star Erica Dixon, calling her a wildebeast and grass-eater! Watch the clip inside and see Soulja Boy kicked off an American Airlines flight for not following the rules!   Mama Dee is about to turn 50-years-old (so she says.....).  In a drunken rant caught outside of K.Michelle's album release party in ATL this past weekend, she spent the drunken night referencing how "butch" she is and some simulated oral sex.  She then popped off on Erica Dixon (the mother of her grandchild) and calls her, "...a rude ugly non-sissy bitch and no loving bitch."  She went on to call both Erica and her mother "wildebeasts" and says you'd never have to hire a lawn mower because they eat grass. What?  Scrappy please get ya mama.  Because you're standing RIGHT THERE and letting this ish happen. Watch the foolishness at the (1:37) mark:     In other foolery.....   Soulja Boy was ejected from an American Airlines flight recently, after he refused to follow flight attendant's orders to sit down.  Following their second request (to have a seat), they kicked him off the flight!   Soulja later apologized, telling TMZ, “It was a bad night and me and the flight staff didn’t see eye to eye. In hindsight, I’m extremely sorry for all inconvenience caused to the passengers and employees of the airline.” At least he admitted his wrongdoing.  Looks like both Soulja and Mama Dee have been hitting the sauce pretty hard.....

Kendrick Lamar Goes OFF & Calls Himself The KING On Big Sean's "Control" (Also Ft. Jay Electronica) + Miley Cyrus Freestyles To "Aint Worried About Nothin" Posted: 13 Aug 2013 06:30 AM PDT Kendrick Lamar just bodied this new "Control" track.  It's actually Big Sean's track but Kendrick took it over.  Check out why he had all of Twitter going crazy last night inside, plus Miley Cyrus just dropped a freestyle on "Aint Worried About Nothin"" Big Sean kicks off the track with one of the best non-corny, non-pop verses we've heard from him in a while as he lets the world know it's Detroit Vs. Everybody. But then Kendrick took over letting the world know why he's the King of both coast, and called out every rapper in the forefront right now.  This verse had folks all a-Twitter: I heard barber shops debate the greats all the time Who's the best MC? Kendrick, Jigga and Nas Eminem, andre 3000, the rest of yall New niggas just new niggas, dont get involved And i ain't rockin no more designer shit White T’s and nike cortes, this is red corvettes annonymous Im usually homeboys with the same niggas im rhymin wit But this is hip hop and them niggas should know what time it is And that goes for Jermaine Cole, big krit, wale, Pusha T, meek mill, asap rocky, drake, Big sean, jay electron, tyler, mac miller, I got love for u all but im tryna murder you niggas Tryna make sure ur core fans never heard of you niggas They dont wanna hear not one more noun or verb from u niggas Oh?  He then went on to call himself the King of NY and the King of both coasts.  And since we loves us some Kendrick, we're not even mad. Jay Electronica wraps the track, but not sure how many people paid attention to the verse after Mr. Lamar pretty much bodied the track.  Go off Kendrick! Supposedly this No I.D.-produced track was cut from the Hall of Fame (Aug 27th) album due to issues of getting the sample cleared.   And in other rap news that had folks a-Twitter, Miley Cyrus decided to take her ratchet Miley persona (even though she claims she hates when people label her that way yet she KEEPS saying that's what she wants to be) one step further. IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING: LisaRaye's EX-Husband Michael Misick Is In JAIL In Brazil....But NOT Cutting A Plea Deal! Posted: 12 Aug 2013 05:26 PM PDT   Though LisaRaye McCoy divorced former Tucks & Caicos Prime Minister Michael Misick a long time ago, his name is still closely associated with her.  And in case you were wondering what happened to him......he's in jail! A little back story.....Michael was jailed in Brazil after the country's federal government picked him up for a warrant issued about an ongoing government corruption case. So just to clear things up, Michael's brother, Phillip Misick, explained why his brother is in jail.  He tells the Turks and Caicos SUN, “What a lot of people don’t know is that Mike was re-arrested because the British and the SIPT lied to the Brazilian authorities and told them that Mike has applied to Argentina for political asylum and was considering going there. That was not true at all, but that was the reason why they denied his asylum appeal. The Brits and SIPT did that; just like how they lied to the Brazilian authorities by telling them that Mike was charged in the Turks and Caicos Islands and skipped the country, when up to this day he has not been charged with a single offence,” So why are we hearing about this now? Rumor has it that Michael is about to cut a deal that may implicate several US citizens in wrongdoing. Once that news leaked, Michael releases a statement saying this isn't true: "I hear the TCI Journal and their British sponsors is up to their old tricks by putting out online a bunch of bull s**t about me. These people are so low and will stoop to anything to try to further destroy me. I am strong in my faith and will never give up no matter what they do...All I can do is keep on praying and be patient that God will soon deliver me from prison here either home or free here in Brazil.” So to sum things up....Michael is in a Brazilian jail, but hasn't been charged with anything.  And you thought brothers only had it bad in the U.S.....   (Photo by Rick Diamond/WireImage)

HAIRY TALES: Is That You Tyra Banks? + RGIII Gets New Hair Y'all! Posted: 12 Aug 2013 04:26 PM PDT Not sure what Tyra's going though these days but she look like she went through it and more this weekend.  Check out the "Top Model" host was in Cali looking like that chick from "The Ring," plus RGIII's got some new hair y'all! Tyra Banks was spotted peeking around the corner outside her friend Jennifer Klein's Annual Day of Indulgence party in Brentwood this weekend: We're not sure if she was going for the weekend flower power grunge look, or if she needs a good nap and a some Argan oil, but Ms. Banks wasn't looking herself this weekend.  We expected her usual fun loving and gorge self to emerge from what was a festive occasion, but....no. In good news though, she's got some serious "Top Model" Cycle 20 premiere ratings.  It's the series highest rated cycle so far in two years!   And in other hair tales, Robert Griffin III showed off his new ~hurrr~ in a press conference today.  Looks like the Redskins baller found himself a braider who got rid of...whatever that was before....and gave him some clean cornrows.  Oh, and he had to get designs with them, obviously. While we wish he would just cut all the braids all together, we're OK with the baby steps.  Check him out talking about his new 'do below.      He said, "New phase, new hair. ... Been ready for it. It's just a matter of time." Y'all know his new wife Becky is cursing him out right about now for getting this done AFTER the wedding.   The Randomness: 1.  Now that NYC's infamous "Stop & Frisk" policy has been declared by a judge to be unconstitutional, Mayor Bloomberg says he will appeal the decision.  STORY 2.  Nicki Minaj unveiled her brand new Minajesty fragrance ad.  STORY 3.  Judge in Paula Deen case throws out race-based claims, saying the plaintiff has no standing to sue since she was not a victim of the alleged discrimination STORY 4.  Rapper Mac Miller nearly collapsed on stage while performing in Phoenix this weekend.  STORY 5.  "Extra’s” AJ Calloway and wife Dionne welcomed a beautiful daughter, Amy Belle Calloway, today.  STORY

KEEP THE PARTY GOIN': Rihanna Jets To Miami To Party All Night After Leaving Barbados, Then Jets To NYC Same Night Posted: 12 Aug 2013 02:51 PM PDT Rihanna is fresh off her vacay in her native Barbados.  And she kept the party going by jetting straight to Miami to party it up Sunday.  And after leaving the club at 3AM, she hopped her jet straight to NYC.    Check out a day in Rih's life inside... Rocking her own hair and cut off shorts with an American flag tee, "Stay" singer Rih was seen leaving Club SPACE in Miami last night. She first hit up a house party, and then continues partying until the next day leaving SPACE at 3AM. MAGAZINE FAB: Robin Thicke & Janelle Monae COVER VIBE's SUMMER 2013 ISSUE Posted: 12 Aug 2013 01:11 PM PDT Singers Janelle Monae and Robin Thicke cover the latest 20th Anniversary issue of VIBE Magazine.  And they're only 1 of three covers to come.  Get deets on the issue inside..... Singer Robin Thicke, who arguably has one the biggest song of the summer with "Blurred Lines", covers the summer 2013 issue of VIBE alongside fabulous "Q.U.E.E.N." singer Janelle Monae.  Loving the sexy, vintage rat-packish feel of the shoot. The summer issue also serves as the magazine's 20th anniversary issue (it was launched by Quincy Jones in 1993).  VIBE celebrates its anniversary with the release of three unique covers for the magazine’s highly anticipated ‘Juice’ issue featuring Robin Thicke with Janelle Monáe, Nas with J.Cole and Daft Punk with Pharrell Williams. In the accompanying article, the singers repesent the varying degrees of R&B music with Robin from the blue-eyed soul side of things and Janelle taking the reigns with a funkier-progressive edge.  The two talked to the magazine about the new rules of music and how they both push boundaries.  Here's an excerpt: VIBE: How do you define your music? THICKE: I can tell she’s probably just like me—that as soon as somebody says, ‘Oh, you’re this.’ She goes, ‘Well, then let me show you what else I can do ’cause I’m not just one thing.’ MONÁE: It’s about having fun. THICKE: Well, not just that, but when you think about Stevie Wonder, or even Michael Jackson, you don’t say, ‘They’re R&B singers.’ You say, ‘That’s Stevie Wonder music. That’s Prince music.’ MONÁE: They tried everything. THICKE: I hope that after I make my 10, 20 albums people just go, ‘That’s Robin Thicke music. And when they hear Janelle, they know that’s Janelle Monáe music.’ That’s what we both try to accomplish. Even “Blurred Lines,” which is my greatest success… MONÁE: That’s the jam. THICKE: Sounds a lot like my other music. I love all kinds of music, so I can’t possibly just make one kind. I’ll make a song called “Shakin’ It 4 Daddy” with Nicki Minaj, and then a song that sounds like Jimi Hendrix that’s all guitar and live music. Most of the music I’ve made is live band instrumentation, no drum machines. MONÁE: Same with me. We just finished [recording with] the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, and then came back and rocked Coachella. I get very bored with the concept of marginalizing music and saying because I’m an African-American woman I [have to] stick to this genre. My iPod [has everything] from Judy Garland to James Brown to Prince to the Talking Heads. It just needs to be great and it needs to move me. THICKE: In the history of American music, black radio and white radio were segregated. But once everybody had rights… MONÁE: And could be on the cover of their album… THICKE: And white people are on the cover of VIBE and black people on the cover of Rolling Stone, there are no more rules and that’s how it should be. We shouldn’t be judged by our color or one song that we made. MONÁE: We should be judged by the jam. Is it jammin’? THICKE: Music is exploding right now and always will, because it’s not about the sound. It will always come down to the artist. What are they doing? What are they saying and how are they saying it? WEDDING THIS, WEDDING THAT: Gloria Govan & NBA Baller Matt Barnes Get Married (Again) In A Big (FILMED) Wedding Posted: 12 Aug 2013 12:26 PM PDT Even though they've been technically married for a year, "Basketball Wives LA" star Gloria Govan and Clippers baller Matt Barnes had their big official wedding over the weekend.  Check out their lavish Santa Barbara nuptials with friends and fam in tow inside... Last year while "BBW LA" was still on the air, Gloria broke the news to her cast members that she had skipped over to Vegas and gotten married to Matt in a secret ceremony with only a few people present.  She said then they would have a huge wedding for all their friends and fam soon, and this past weekend, they did. Here are the details: The wedding was indeed filmed, but not for "BBW: LA."  We've been told that the reality show starts shooting again this week, but Gloria and Bambi will NOT be involved.  No word yet on where this wedding will be shown, but we're sure it's getting shopped around for a spinoff. Matt had a few of his Clippers teammates--Blake Griffin & DeAndre Jordan--there for support.  And his good friend and sis-in-law Laura's long time fiance Gilbert Arenas was also there.  And serenading them at the wedding--Power 106 radio host Big Boy. Gloria walked down the aisle to Tupac's "All Eyez On Me."  So Cali with it...   Phoenix Suns baller Caron Butler and his wife Andrea hopped on a jet to get there for the nuptials. Gloria looked gorge in her dress as she posed it up with Matt's sister Dani (on the right) and friend Candice Craig.  We may not always like her attitude or the way she comes off on that show, but she made a beautiful bride.   Her sister Laura Govan, who never misses an opp to show off her body parts, rocked a lavender cut-out gown for the ocassion.   Tichina Arnold snapped a pic with "Lifestyle Event Producer" Kweisi Gharreau. NBA analyst Chris Webber was there to support.   Looks like things got a littl cray with the family.  Clothes started coming off... BABY NEWS: George Lucas And Mellody Hobson WELCOME Baby Girl + Kanye West & Kim Kardashian REJECT MILLIONS For "North West" Photos??!! Posted: 12 Aug 2013 09:05 AM PDT   Reports are surfacing that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have NO plans to sell pics of their daughter North West.  Find out how the couple maybe "reveal" pics of North inside and get the deets on George Lucas and Mellody Hobson welcoming a baby girl home.     Earlier, we told you about the wedding of financial guru Mellody Hobson to George Lucas and now we can report that the couple are parents. The Huffington Post announced exclusively that on Friday, August 9, George and Mellody welcomed their baby girl Everest Hobson Lucas home. Everest was born via a surrogate and joins George's other adopted children, Amanda, 32; Katie, 25; and Jett, 20.     In other baby news..... In today's believe or not news, reports are surfacing that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have no plans to sell the "highly-anticipated" pics of North West.  So does this mean we won't get a chance to see the baby?  Of course not.  It just means that the publicity hungry couple aren't going to use the baby as a part of their gravy train (in this case).   Though the couple has been offered millions (some numbers as high as $3 million), its been speculated that the baby may turn up in a high-fashion glossy like Vanity Fair or the couple maybe go the Jay Z/Beyonce route and release a pic via social media.
