SPOTTED: Kanye West SEEN SHOPPING At Cartier On RODEO Drive + Katie Couric Apologizes For HURTING Kim Kardashian's FEELINGS Posted: 17 Aug 2013 06:39 AM PDT Rapper Kanye West was spotted leaving the Cartier boutique on Rodeo Drive yesterday.  See the candids inside and find out what Katie Couric said after she found out she'd hurt Kim Kardashian's feelings.     "New Slaves" rapper Kanye West was welcomed into the Cartier boutique on Rodeo Drive yesterday, where we suspect he looked at gifts for his daughter North West and baby momma Kim Kardashian.   After spending a few moments inside, Kanye later emerged from the store empty-handed.   While out on his shopping excursion, Yeezus received some good news from  Los Angeles County district attorney's office who said they wouldn't prosecute him for attacking a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport. The DA concluded that since the photographer was not seriously, nor his camera damaged, they'd drop the charges. Meanwhile, Kim managed to grab a few headlines yesterday after she called out television host Katie Couric for sending a baby gift and trashing her during an interview.  Kim instagrammed, "I hate fake media friends" and "May I humbly suggest you not send gifts then talk s**t." Katie later issued a statement to E! News apologizing for the interview saying,  "I was responding to a reporter's question, and explaining how I'm intrigued by the public's fascination with her family," she said. "I didn't mean to hurt her feelings. The gift is genuine, and I'm happy for Kim and Kanye."      And just because Kanye got boo'ed at this week's LA Dodgers game, it doesn't mean the city of LA doesn't have love for him.  The rapper's Range Rover was crowded by adoring fans as he drove away from Cartier.   In other Kanye news, he's set to perform "BLKKK SKKKN HEAD" at the 2013 VMAS on August 25 at 9pmET.   EXTRAS: 1. NO CHANGE: Raz B Still In COMA, On LIFE SUPPORT Posted: 17 Aug 2013 05:03 AM PDT   Former B2K singer Raz B is currently on life support at a hospital in China, following a brutal attack he suffered at a local nightclub.  Get the latest on his status inside.... Previously, we told you about former B2K singer Raz B undergoing surgery in China, after he was attacked with a glass bottle at a local nightclub.  Though the surgery went well, sources close to the singer say Raz B went home to rest, but did not wake up the next day. He was rushed to the hospital by one of his dancers and is now breathing from a ventilator. His publicist, Toy Jones, told TMZ, "He is in a coma and needs as many prayers as possible." LeBron James Gets Shirtless At The Beach, Shoots A New Commercial + Gabby & Dwyane Wade Do Fantasy Camp Posted: 16 Aug 2013 04:10 PM PDT LeBron James has been spending his off season chillin' out.  But the cameras caught him doing some shirtless activities on Miami Beach today-- like shooting a new commercial.  Peep the pics inside, plus, Gabby & Dwyane Wade make an appearance at Fantasy Camp.... Well hello Mr. NBA champ.  Bron Bron showed off that ridic upper body that lead him to a second championship this summer while shooting a brand new commercial today on Miami Beach. The Nike spokesman rocked black Villebrequin swim trunks and matching black Nike sneakers before hopping on a bike and riding out with a bunch of extras for another scene: And elsewhere in Florida: Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union posed it up recently at the Dwyane Wade Fantasy Camp at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood at the Westin Diplomat Resort.  The cute couple snuggled up on the carpet as D-Wade put on his festivities.   Kevin Hart also came out to support.  Loving Gabby's look.       Photos: Wireimage/PCN

Up & Comer Tiara Thomas Drops "Tell Me Something" Posted: 16 Aug 2013 02:44 PM PDT Singer Tiara Thomas is continuing to release her own singles with a new track called "Tell Me Something".  After popping her music industry cherry with a feature on Wale's "Bad", check out what the Indianapolis native has to offer on the solo tip... This 23-year didn't let her Twitter beef with Wale and his team get her down.  She's back with another solo track called "Tell Me Something" after dropping her song "4 Dolla Bill". Tiara hit up Sway's morning show on Shade 45 today to debut her new song.  We're feelin' Ms. Tiara.  Just hope she gets a unique look to rep her image instead of one that seems like Rihanna's leftovers.  She's a fab chick though. Her EP Dear Sallie Mae is due out later this year via Interscope Records.  And she's also set to appear on K.Michelle's upcoming spinoff reality show alongside Elle Varner. DETAILS! The "Gabrielle Douglas Story" TV Movie Underway! Posted: 16 Aug 2013 11:15 AM PDT A casting call for the upcoming "Gabrielle Douglas Story" has been sent out and we have all the deets for you inside.....   During the summer of 2013, we all watched Gabrielle Douglas make history as the first woman of color and the first African-American gymnast to become the individual all-around Olympic champion. And now, we've just learned that Hollywood producers are bringing the story of "Gabrielle Douglas " to life as a tv movie! TheYBF.com is the FIRST to bring you the deets.... We know that producers want the role to be played by a super petitie pre-teen YBF actress.  They want the great smile, the great eyes and some gymnastics and dance ability to boot.    Here's a synopsis of what the movie will cover: "Gabrielle Douglas was born on December 31, 1995, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Gabby Douglas began formal gymnastics training at 6 years old and won a state championship by the time she was 8. She moved away from her hometown and family in 2010 to pursue training with a world-renowned Olympic trainer, and was selected to compete with the U.S. Olympic women's gymnastics team at the 2012 Summer Olympics. There, Douglas became the first African American to win gold in the individual all-around event." The movie starts shooting September 9th all the way through the end of October....in Winnipeg, Canada.  So the release date may be before the year is over. "THE GABBY DOUGLAS STORY" will be produced by Zev Braun, Philip Krupp and David Rosemont. Gregg Champion will be directing and Tracy Twinkie Byrd is the casting director. EVENT FAB: Nas ROCKS THE MIC For The Hennessy V.S Series With Busta Rhymes, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Tristan Wilds & MORE Posted: 16 Aug 2013 10:18 AM PDT Last night in NYC, Nas hit the stage for Hennessy with fab folks like Busta Rhymes, Tristan Wilds and Travie McCoy in the audience.  Find out what they were celebrating inside.... Last night, Nas helped celebrate the national launch for the Limited Edition Hennessy V.S bottle designed by legendary Brazilian artists, Os Gêmeos. The swanky event celebrated the third iteration of the Hennessy V.S limited edition series at Pier 57 in New York City. Nas, who's featured on the cover of VIBE's 20th anniversary issue with J. Cole, recently revealed why he didn't attend The Notorius B.I.G.'s funeral, "Man, me and Biggie were the biggest artists in New York. When he passed, I was so messed up. My attitude was messed up about him dying. There was an East-West thing back then, and I was in war mode. My attitude, my disposition, it wasn’t good to be around people, especially at a funeral for somebody I cared so much about. I paid my respects from home, man. Sent my prayers, and I didn’t wanna deal with the fanaticism of the sensationalized hip-hop superstar funeral." DJ Clue was also spotted at the party. Travie McCoy tooks a few pics with the newly designed bottle.   Melyssa Ford posed for the cameras. "Own It" singer Tristan Wilds aka Mack Wilds had some fun and made a few faces for the cameras. "Street Dreamin" singer Bridget Kelly showed off her abs. Rap legend Bun B also posed with the new bottle.       DJ Jazzy Jeff keep the crowd moving.
