Watch: Previously Unseen Video Of Britney Spears On ‘Star Search’ Hits The Internets

Posted: 12 Jun 2011 01:45 PM PDT

Pretty much every Britney Spears fan on Earth knows that the Living Legend appeared on the talent competition show Star Search at the tender age of 10 years old … and while she won a couple of times, she ended up losing the competition to a 12 year old boy named Marty Thomas. Except for the time when the actual episode aired back in 1992, a full clip of Britney‘s final appearance on Star Search has not been seen … until now. Click below to watch the clip in full.

It is believed that Marty Thomas himself uploaded this full clip online. He went on to become a Broadway performer playing small roles in various musicals and, as we are all aware, Britney went on to become the Queen of Pop. I can’t even believe how adorably cute Britney is in this clip. I am so glad we finally get to see her final Star Search apperance in full. LOVE THIS VIDEO!!

Listen: Shania Twain Releases A New Single Titled ‘Today Is Your Day’

Posted: 12 Jun 2011 01:32 PM PDT

Back in 2004, Shania Twain released a Greatest Hits album that included a new track titled I Ain’t No Quitter … and since then, she has been totally absent from the music scene … until now. Shania, who just announced a 2-year concert residency in Las Vegas, NV starting this December, has released a new single on iTunes. Today Is Your Day quietly showed up on iTunes this weekend … click below to preview the track and find out how YOU can buy a copy!

Considering all of the media promo that Shania has been doing (for her new reality TV show and book), I was very surprised to not only learn that Shania is releasing new music … but that this new single was already available for purchase on iTunes. Here is our first taste of Shania‘s new song Today Is Your Day:

I’m not immediately taken with this new single but I am very excited that Shania is releasing new music. As much as I loathe the way her ex-husband Mutt Lange treated her, he really is a music genius. I’m very curious to hear what Shania‘s music will be like without him. Loathe him or loathe him, he is responsible for her biggest hit songs. If YOU would like to buy this single you can do so on iTunes HERE. What do y’all think of this song? Do we like?

Good Charlotte Rocks Pomona, CA

Posted: 12 Jun 2011 01:10 PM PDT

Last night David and I made our way to The Fox Theater in Pomona, CA to see my boys Good Charlotte live in concert. Good Charlotte are on tour with Yellowcard and Runner Runner and they brought the show to SoCal this weekend. I try my best not to miss GC when they come to town so I was really excited to hit the road to see the guys live.

David and I got to watch the show from backstage and we had an absolute blast! GC always puts on a great show and the crowd went absolutely apeshizz for the performance:

I managed to record some video of the show … here is Good Charlotte performing one of my fave songs I Just Wanna Live:

After the show, we got to hang out and chill for a bit with homeboy Joel Madden as well as our friend Danny Celis who is touring with GC:

I’m not even kidding you … Joel and Danny are two of my favorite people on Earth and it is always a pleasure getting to hang out with them. We had a blast, I know the crowd had a blast … ’twas a very fun Saturday night!

This afternoon, David and I are meeting up with our good friends Jim and Derek at Disneyland! Yes, we were just there last Monday but … we just can’t get enough. It’s Gay Pride Day here in SoCal today! Show your pride, have a blast! Happy Sunday! Happy Pride!!

Robert Pattinson Hangs Out In Toronto With His Pet Pooch Bear

Posted: 12 Jun 2011 11:34 AM PDT

Yesterday we saw photos of Robert Pattinson lookin’ all dapper and shizz on the Toronto, Ontario set of his new film Cosmopolis but today we get to see photos of a more relaxed R. Pattz lookin’ his usual unkempt self. Rob was photographed chillin’ on his hotel balcony with a couple of friends and his pet dog Bear. Click below to see the photos.

Ahh … shaggy, disheveled Rob … just the way we like him. It’s a shame the photos of his dog Bear aren’t more clear but it looks like he’s a little Scotty dog. I suppose since Rob can’t be with his ladylove Kristin Stewart, he has to make do with the affection he gets from his pet pooch. Ain’t puppy love grand?

Watch: Jennifer Lopez Performs ‘On The Floor’ On The UK’s ‘So You Think You Can Dance?’

Posted: 12 Jun 2011 11:04 AM PDT

Last month, Jennifer Lopez performed her single On the Floor on an episode of American Idol here in the US and this weekend she did the same in the UK on So You Think You Can Dance? While J. Lo performed the same song on SYTYCD she did not give the same exact performance. Click below to watch her sexy performance in full.

It wasn’t only the finalists who were left breathless on the So You Think You Can Dance live final on BBC1 tonight.
Viewers at home were left gasping when Jennifer Lopez gave a sizzling live performance in a glittery catsuit that was so lowcut is showed off her bra – and so tight it revealed every inch of her famous rear. The 41-year-old star was performing her recent No. 1 single On The Floor on the show, ahead of her appearance tomorrow on the bill at Capital Radio’s Summertime Ball. To a standing ovation from judges Sisco Gomez, Louise Redknapp, Nigel Lythgoe and Arlene Phillips, host Cat Deeley was almost speechless before paying tribute to the star’s performance with a simple: ‘The one and only Jennifer Lopez!’

Wow! You cannot deny … Jennifer Lopez looks amazing! I have to say … I like her new album, I don’t love it, but … it’s good. I am impressed with how hard J. Lo is working to promote her new album Love? despite the fact that many people don’t seem to care about it. Love? is really a much better album than her previous, absolutely forgettable offering Brave. I just wish she would go back to the sound she perfected with her first 3 albums. Still … I’m glad to see that J. Lo hasn’t lost her zeal for flashy performances. I just wish she had a bit better music to focus all this energy on.

New Photos Of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords Are Released On Facebook

Posted: 12 Jun 2011 09:49 AM PDT

Back in January we learned of the despicably tragic shooting of Arizona Representative Gabrielle Giffords by a crazed gunman who opened fire at a political event held at a grocery store in Tuscon. That gunman killed many people … but not Rep. Giffords, his intended target. She was shot in the head and it was feared that she would die from her injuries but, thankfully, she not only survived the attack but is now thriving in rehabilitation. Today, the first new photos of Rep. Giffords since the shooting appeared on her official Facebook profile … and she looks fantastic! Click below to see how well Gabrielle Giffords is doing.

Since the January shooting that left Rep. Gabrielle Giffords seriously wounded, the Arizona congresswoman has been recovering in private. But on Sunday, Giffords posted two photographs of herself on her official Facebook page. The images, which were taken by photographer P.K. Weis, on May 17 – the day after the congresswoman attended husband Mark Kelly’s NASA shuttle launch – outside a Houston, Texas, medical center. They show a smiling Giffords with short, darker hair wearing wire-rimmed glasses. “These photos reveal an upbeat image of Gabrielle Giffords,” spokesman C.J. Karamargin tells PEOPLE. “When you see the pictures you see that she has progressed in leaps and bounds. When they say that a picture is worth a thousand words, if ever that was true, it is true here.” In one of the images she’s with her mother, Gloria Giffords. “Gloria has been by her side throughout,” Karamargin said. “You can see the mother-daughter bond [in the photo]. It is an apt reflection of their relationship.” As for that smile, Karamargin said Giffords was beaming after watching the launch of space shuttle Endeavor captained by her husband. “She was in very, very good spirits. The reason was that she got to watch Mark ride off into space. She was thrilled by that. People who know her say they saw a boost in her spirits and her strength. And her doctors predicted this might happen,” Karamargin said. “Going to the launch was a tremendous milestone for her.” Giffords will soon have even more to smile about when she reaches another milestone. Doctors, Karamargin said, expect to release her from the hospital to an outpatient program. “They are preparing her to go home,” he said. “This is wonderful for her.”

Wow … what an amazing woman. There were quite a few times when it was seriously feared that Giffords might not survive her injuries but, thankfully, she has managed to slowly recover. I’m certain she still has a long way to go but, man, just seeing her beautiful smiling face in these photos is enough to give ANYONE the fortitude to solider on and overcome their personal life obstacles. I know that a great many people have been praying and sending healing vibes to Rep. Giffords over the past few months … and I think we have to keep the prayers/vibes going. Keep on healing, Gabby! We love you! Yay!!
