Whoa! Puberty is definitely over for Justin Bieber! Listen to how grown up he sounds!

The Biebs performed Matchbox 20's 3 AM in honor of his vocal coach Jan Smith, who received the Chairman's Award at the 2011 Georgia Music Hall of Fame Awards Saturday night.

Honoring Jan's other students, whom she also has mentored, Justin not only covered Rob Thomas, but also Usher's Bad.

Very cool! Sounding good, Justin!

Alec Baldwin Pulls Out Of Emmys After Bit About Murdoch Phone-Hacking Scandal Gets Cut

Posted: 18 Sep 2011 12:20 PM PDT

And Leonard Nimoy steps in!

Alec Baldwin pulled out of the Emmys after he found out a bit involving the Rupert Murdoch phone-hacking scandal was cut from a pre-taped opening for the Sunday night's awards show.

Alec apparently even worked with the show's writers to pen the script, but after he discoverd it was cut, he told the network that he prefers if the skit with him didn't air at all. According to Baldwin's peeps, it had nothing to do with the subject matter, but he didn't think the skit would be cohesive without the joke.

Since the awards show will air on Fox, we can only wonder why the joke was cut. Alec will not be attending the actual awards show (even though he's nominated) due to a prior commitment to be at Tony Bennett's birthday bash in New York.

It sounds a little sketchy to us. We don't blame Alec for wanting to pull out if they had agreed to let him use the joke in the first place. And besides, we get Leonard Nimoy in his place! Yay!

UPDATE: Alec just tweeted this:

Fox did kill my NewsCorp hacking joke. Which sucks bc I think it would have made them look better. A little.

Oooh, burn! Get it, Alec!!

Courteney Cox And David Arquette To Develop Friends-Like Sitcom Together

Posted: 18 Sep 2011 12:00 PM PDT

It's great to see that exes can still work together.

Courteney Cox and David Arquette are developing a new comedy series and plan to pitch the ensemble sitcom as a show that "explores the ups and downs of relationships across a group of friends, spanning 10 years."

So basically, it sounds like Friends 2.0!

The project is tentatively titled 10 Years and is being produced by the couple's Coquette Productions, which is ABC-based.

AND, word is David could even play a role, not only behind the camera, but on the show too! Some say that the show will even be loosely-based on Cox and Arquette's amicable split.

Hmm, very inneresting! Despite the fact that sitcoms about a group of friends is definitely a been there, done that kinda thing, this actually sounds like it has potential!

Glad to see you two working so well together!

Georgia Town Shuts Down Rocky Horror Production For Being Too Risque

Posted: 18 Sep 2011 11:40 AM PDT

Boo!!

So not cool!!

The mayor of Carrollton, Georgia shut down the production of their version of The Rocky Horror Show after he caught a glimpse of rehearsals. Wayne Garner and his staff made the decision after they watched a video of the cast rehearsing and decided it was just too risque.

Even when promoters and organizers promised to restrict attendance to adults only, the mayor still wouldn't budge.

That really sucks, Mr. Mayor!

The director of the show says that "the show must go on" and is planning a fundraising campaign to begin on Monday, hoping to match a donation of $5,000 so that the show can be presented at a private venue.

Let's hope they can make this happen! The Rocky Horror Show is over 30 years old! Yes, it's a little raunchy, but everybody knows it's an adults-only show. Bring it back! Bring it back!

To catch a glimpse of the show, check it out above.

Sinead O'Connor Writes Disturbing Tweets About Committing Suicide

Posted: 18 Sep 2011 11:20 AM PDT

Fans feared for Sinead O'Connor's well-being when she tweeted out some pretty disturbing thoughts about suicide last week.

The singer tweeted:

"Psychiatrist says I'm a bad mum and mental for talking so openly about sex in public. I wish suicide wud kill me. I want to go to heaven so bad. Have for yrs. But I don't wanna abandon my kids. If I cud die without them knowing I did it myself I wud.

I'm so tired. 24 yrs of being treated like a crazy person. Can't manage any more. If any1 knows how I can kill myself without my kids finding out I did it deliberately pls tell me."

How awful!

This wasn't Sinead's first cry for help. She tried to take her own life on her 33rd birthday over 10 years ago.

Luckily, Sinead came to her senses and did not go through with it. She later wrote an honest open letter about why she had suicidal thoughts on her website:

"I am not at all sorry that I wrote what I did on twitter. It was a cry for help and help was received. So it was worth it.

I have no shame around the fact that I can be shot into suicidal feelings by certain people's treatment of me. I am no different to any other person, I therefore act as I believe any other person should be free to.

I have often and still often struggle with suicidal feelings when I am subjected to this 'mad' Sinead O'Connor business. It's is wrong. Degrading. Insulting. A breach of my human rights as I see it, and most disrespectful."

We are so thankful that you came to your senses and did not go through with it, Sinead.

Suicide is NEVER the answer. If you feel you need help, please Click HERE.

Man Kills His Own Mother For Not Getting Him Avril Lavigne Tickets

Posted: 18 Sep 2011 09:00 AM PDT

How horrible!!!

A 39-year-old man is currently being tried for allegedly killing his mother after she refused to get him premium skybox tickets to an Avril Lavigne concert.

Prosecutors say that when Linda Bolek wouldn't call a friend and arrange for him to get the skybox tickets, the man, Robert Lyons, went "ballistic" and beat and stabbed the 61-year-old woman to death.

His defense attorney claims that he has bipolar disorder and was "provoked" into doing it after she held a knife to his face during a heated argument. She said:

"This defendant was so angry with his mother that he bludgeoned and repeatedly stabbed her in a fit of rage.

She threatened to stab him in the eye. That reaction was not intended, that reaction was not planned."

He then poured several household chemicals over her body, changed his clothes, went shopping, and was arrested hours later at Hooters.

W...T...F...???

Bipolar or not, provoked or not, this man clearly needs to be locked up. What a terrible and tragic story. And all for a pair of Avril tickets... Really?!?
