TV FAB: Keenan Ivory Wayans BRINGING BACK “In Living Color”

Producer Keenan Ivory Wayans is bringing back his classic FOX sketch comedy series “In Living Color.” Get the deets on Homie The Clown inside…..

 

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, FOX, along with host and executive producer Keenan Ivory Wayans are set to bring back “In Living Color” this season with two half-hour specials.

And if all goes well with the ratings (and we know it will) a rebooted version of the series will appear on Fox’s schedule as a regular series next fall. Keenan will be producing the series through his Ivory Way Prod., in association with 20th Century Fox TV’s Fox 21.

As you will recall, the series launched the careers of the Wayans brothers, Jim Carrey, David Alan Grier and Jamie Foxx among others. But this time around, Keenan is bringing on an all-new cast. No word yet on whether any of the “ILC” veterans will make an appearance (as folks like Marlon will be busy with his own ABC project), but I’m sure Fire Marshall Bill and Antoine Merriweather would be hilarious if they were updated for 2011.  Will J.Lo go back to her roots does a guest stint as a Fly Girl?

Gabrielle Union is one fab chick. As she turns 39, the gorgeous actress is living out her dreams and looking fab as she does it. 

And admit it, after all the drama, she's one chick you want to see become a real "Basketball Wife."

And as a spokeswoman for women who have been abused, she is a testament to overcoming a tragic situation and still reaching your purpose and goals.

Jessica White, Eva Marcille, Chrissy Teigen, Jesse Williams & More Are Diddy's New CIROC Rat Pack

Diddy and his new rat pack just wrapped up a Ciroc shoot in Las Vegas yesterday.  Check out who's repping for Ciroc now inside...

Models Jessica White, Eva Marcille, and Christine Teigen (John Legend's girlfriend), all put on their black tie best to pose it up with the fellas on the set of the new CIROC ad in Vegas. 

Along with actors like Chad Michael Murray, Michael K. Williams, Jesse Williams, Mr. Ciroc (Diddy) brought together a new group of hotties for his brand new Ciroc visual ad campaign.

Jesse and Michael shot scenes on a private jet.  And the rest of the rat pack shot scenes, all directed by Anthony Mandler, inside Ceasar's Palace.

This ad campaign looks like an interesting one.  Nice.

RAPPER'S DELIGHT: Rick Ross' First Tweet, Cori B's "SMH" Performance + T-Pain's "Fantasy" Video Ft. Dawn

Just in time to promote his next LP, Rick Ross is back on Twitter and sending love to his fans. Find out what he said inside and see a new performance from Cori B,and T-Pain's new "Fantasy" video featuring Dawn Ri'Chard.

 

As he prepares for the release of his fifth album God Forgives, I Don’t (due December 13), Rick Ross tweeted his first message since he suffered two seizures two weeks ago.

He said,

“#thebossback. stronger than Ive ever been.. richer than I ever wuz..”

Although he made no direct mention of his health, his protege Wale told Angie Martinez:

"He needs to get some rest. He's been working himself real, real hard. Every other day he text me, make sure you get some rest."

Hopefully Rick is resting because he has a lot of projects coming up, including an appearance on Mary J. Blige's My Life II disc on a song called "Why."

Snoop Dogg's daughter Cori B is back with a brand new performance video of her second single called "SMH" as a follow up to her "DO My Thang" single.

The performance was at the first annual ZAMFEST festival in Long Beach, CA and is off her forthcoming debut album, Choc's World (set to release early 2012). "SMH" will be available on iTunes.....

 

In other music news:

 

T-Pain is back with a new track off his rEVOLVEr disc called "Fantasy" featuring Dawn (of Dirty Money).  T-Pain also directed and edited the visually appealing video which has the duo singing to each other's shawdows.

LaLa Anthony covers the latest issue and inside pages of "Today’s Black Woman Style Report Magazine" where she does a little girl talk inside about her marriage with NBA Superstar Carmelo Anthony, her stint on "Love, Loss, & What I Wore," and her style. See the highlights inside....

A lot of people want to have it all, but, according to LaLa, aren't willing to put in the time and effort it takes to get such desires.  In the December 2011 issue of Today’s Black Woman Style Report Mrs. Anthony dishes on what she wants (and still desires) out of life and how exactly she went after it.  Here are some of the highlights:

On her overall approach to success:

“You have to set a goal and really work towards it. A lot of people say, ‘I
want to do this, I want to do that,’ but what are you doing to get to that
goal? If you want to act, are you in acting classes? It takes that kind of
commitment to get better at a craft, and people see the final result; but
they don’t know the work it takes to do these kinds of things.”

On her acting career:

“I just wrapped Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, which is based on Steve
Harvey’s book. I’m really excited about that one. It’s really funny but has
a great message.  There's an incredible cast; you have Taraji Henson,
Gabrielle Union, Meagan Good, Michael Ealy, Kevin Hart…I mean the list goes
on and on. To be a part of a cast like that is awesome.”

On having a successful AND balanced marriage:

“You need to have your own thing going on,
so you can live in your world as well as in the world of your relationship.”
