Fantasia May Get DROPPED From Mahalia Jackson Movie For Being Unwed & Pregnant....Again

Uh oh! Fantasia Barrino may be out of a job soon as the producers of the upcoming Mahalia Jackson film--because they said her image as an unwed mother twice over isn't right for the gospel film.

As Fantasia was in North Carolina over the weekend celebrating her baby boy on the way, with her married baby's daddy Antwaun Cook, producers of the upcoming biopic were busy considering someone else for her role (like Missy Elliot!). Especially if they can't figure out how to get Fanny to work with on tight schedule.

According to the NY Post, they have had to halt production due to her baby belly. And the executive producer, Adrian Taylor said the Jackson family are not feeling Fanny:

“The family thinks if Fantasia plays the role, it’s going to sully the name of Mahalia. They think she’s got the wrong image, having a child out of wedlock.”

Wow. And the producers were pissy themselves since she never told them of her pregnancy:

Producers are also furious with Fantasia, 27, for not telling them about her unexpected pregnancy until she was four months in. “She [initially] claimed that she was putting on weight for the role,” an insider said.

Production of the movie has been pushed back because of Fantasia’s pregnancy with her married boyfriend, Antwaun Cook.

Barrino’s pregnancy has also caused chaos with scheduling conflicts because filming has been delayed until after her due date on Dec. 27. Director Euzhan Palcy may be forced to drop out of the project.

Producers are now scrambling to finish the movie by fall 2012. Barrino has been asked to start filming as soon as January and is in negotiations to alter her contract to allow time for breast-feeding and nurturing her child on set.

In the meantime, producers are working to find a replacement if Barrino doesn’t agree to start shooting after New Year’s. Missy Elliott has been suggested.

The representative for Mahalia Jackson's estate, though, says she knows nothing about this objection:

Dino Gankendorff, who represents Mahalia Jackson’s estate, told us, “I’m not really aware of any objections that the heirs have to the casting of Fantasia. I understand that they were getting ready to film and that she is pregnant, and I don't know who is she pregnant by.”

Time will tell....

You'd never know that Mel B recently gave birth as she showed off her post baby bod, along with 4-year-old daughter Angel Iris Murphy, at the Kid's Choice Awards in Australia. See the pics inside....

Mel B hit the red carpet with her daughter Angel Iris Murphy and "X-Factor" star Christina Parie at the 2011 Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards at the Sydney Entertainment Centre down under. Mommy rocked a pink ombre dress while Angel kept it sparkly in a multicolored sequin dress.

And Angel gave mommy a "Different Strokes" look that said, "What chu talking' bout Momma?"

Mel B's post baby workout plan is clearly doing her well. It's only been a month!

Kelly Rowland Covers November 2011 Cosmopolitan UK, Says She Hasn't Seen Her Daddy In 20 Years

Kelly Rowland is red hot on the cover of the November 2011 issue of Cosmopolitan UK. We've got her boob & leg baring pics, plus what she had to say about being single and her estranged father, inside....

The "X-Factor UK" judge is making her presence known across the pond. She's the November covergirl for Cosmo UK. And Ms. Kelly's rocking black quilted design leather shorts, a red bra, and a black cropped jacket with red piping, for her cover shot.

The 30-year-old single lady dished about being ready for marriage, and what Beyonce asked her about her former (2005) engagement (to NFL baller Roy Williams):

"Before, I'd want to lean on somebody. Now I love the fact that I can just be a single lady, chilling and hanging with my friends, and travelling the world. It's a pretty good life. I'm ready for marriage when the right time comes now, though."

"I remember my sister B [Beyonce] asked me one question: she said, ‘Well, you know what you want now, don’t you?’ and I was like ‘Yes’."

"It was so hard and embarrassing because everyone knew. I’d posed for the front cover of a magazine in my wedding dress and it was on sale! But sometimes you fall down and you learn from it."

And remember all the ish Kelly's father, Christopher Lovett, was talking in the media over the summer about not being able to see his daughter? Her response in the mag:

'I haven’t seen my dad for almost 20 years. It’s nothing I want a pity party for. He left me and my mum, and I was angry. I wanted to be a daddy’s girl so bad. God damn The Cosby Show because that made me think "Why aren’t my family like that?" But this is not a perfect world.'

'He reached out to me saying he wanted to see me, but it’s unfortunate he did it so publicly. I want to meet him, and soon, I really do. I forgave him a long time ago.'

'Me and my mum didn’t see eye to eye for a while. I would see how close my girlfriends were to their mothers and it bothered me.'

And she also reveals that she still loves her new boobies:

"I said in an interview a long time ago that I'd get it done because I just had little nuggets for boobs and it was bothering me."

"The decision was 10 years in the making so I'm comfortable talking about it. It's something I really wanted to do for myself - not for a man, not for work, for myself...and I love them!"

As for the British men and their trousers (and co-judge's Gary Barlow's booty) that she loves so much, the "Motivation" singer who also dons a long sexy red dress inside the mag said:

"Oh, have you seen how cute they wear their pants [trousers]? All neat and tight. British men are so charming! I love the accent and how they open doors for you - well at least the ones I've met so far do!"

"With all due respect to [Gary's] wife, her husband has the nicest little hiney I have ever seen. Every time he gets up to get a drink of water I'm like, 'Oops!' [Does comedy butt-perv mime.] But it's his smile too. He's very genuine. I love a person who is straight to the point."

Beyonce just premiered her Audrey Hepburn inspired "Countdown" video minutes ago. In the Adria Petty directed video, Bey is seen dancing around energetically in colorful leotards with a black & white floppy hat like in "My Far Lady, " and black-and-white looks that showed off her baby belly.

Alicia Keys, Demi Moore And Jennifer Aniston appeared on "GMA" today to promote their Lifetime original film FIVE. Watch the celebs talk about directing their shorts inside....

On October 10 at 9pm/8c Alicia Keys makes her directorial debut with the Lifetime original film FIVE.

FIVE is an anthology of five short films exploring the impact of breast cancer on people’s lives. Fellow A-listers Demi Moore and Jennifer Aniston each directed one of the shorts.

Alicia's film stars Tracee Ellis Ross, Rosario Dawson and Jenifer Lewis. Rosario's character has breast cancer and her story reveals how her life changes after the moment of diagnosis.

When Whitney Houston graces the big screen as Jordin Sparks' mother in the Sparkle remake, expect to see the "Saving All My Love" singer in some fabulous garments.
