Last night, LeBron James And Dwyane Wade joined their fabulous ladies, Gabrielle Union and Savannah Brinson to host a dinner kicking off the South Florida All-Star classic. See pics of the attendees inside....

Tons of sand celebs are in Miami right now for the South Florida All-Star classic, a celebrity basketball game benefitting Mary's Court Foundation.  The foundation was established in honor of FIU coach Isiah Thomas' mother, the late Mary Thomas.

Last night, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade hosted a dinner to kick off the South Florida All-Star classic at STK in Miami.

They were joined by good friend Chris Bosh, who will also participate in the South Florida All-Star classic.  

LeBron attended with his fiancee Savannah Brinson, who complimented his black and white pattern.

And Dwyane was accompanied by girlfriend Gabrielle Union.

Kevin Durant will participate in the game on Saturday.

Gloria James, LeBron's mama, wore her printed silk dress.  Alright Mama James!

She later posed with a group of friends....well the photog said these are her friends.

CATCH UP: The Michael Jackson Manslaughter Trial (Week 2 Recap)

During week 2 of the Michael Jackson manslaughter trial, jurors heard from the two main characters in this saga...in their own words.

More audio recordings of Michael Jackson slurring his speech and speaking about the pain of his childhood were introduced, along with findings from an interview Dr. Conrad Murray gave to investigators shortly after Michael's death. Get the highlights inside....

Week two of the Michael Jackson manslaughter trial proved even more shocking than the first as jurors heard audio recordings of a "seemingly" drugged up Michael Jakcson and got a detailed account about what Dr. Conrad Murray says happened during Michael's final hours. 

A few weeks before his death, Dr. Murray recorded a conversation with Michael that was discovered on his iPhone.  During the conversation Michael said,

"Elvis didn't do it. Beatles didn't do it. We have to be phenomenal," Jackson said. "When people leave this show, when people leave my show, I want them to say, 'I've never seen nothing like this in my life. Go. Go. I've never seen nothing like this. Go. It's amazing. He's the greatest entertainer in the world.' I'm taking that money, a million children, children's hospital, the biggest in the world, Michael Jackson Children's Hospital. Going to have a movie theater, game room."

He continued....

"Children are depressed. The -- in those hospitals, no game room, no movie theater. They're sick because they're depressed. Their mind is depressing them. I want to give them that. I care about them, them angels. God wants me to do it. God wants me to do it. I'm going to do it, Conrad."

"Don't have enough hope, no more hope.  That's the next generation that's going to save our planet, starting with -- we'll talk about it. United States, Europe, Prague, my babies. They walk around with no mother. They drop them off, they leave -- a psychological degradation of that. They reach out to me: 'Please take me with you.'"

He ended by saying,

"That will be remembered more than my performances. My performances will be up there helping my children and always be my dream. I love them. I love them because I didn't have a childhood. I had no childhood. I feel their pain. I feel their hurt. I can deal with it. 'Heal the World,' 'We Are the World,' 'Will You Be There,' 'The Lost Children.' These are the songs I've written because I hurt, you know, I hurt."

 

If hearing an "out-of-it" King Of Pop slurring on the phone wasn't shocking enough, jurors also heard an audiotaped interview Dr. Murray did with the LAPD two days after Michael's death.  

During the interview, Dr. Murray revealed that Michael had a pet name for Propofol....he called it milk.

Dr. Murray: [Michael Jackson] said, "I'd like some milk,"
Detective Martinez: Milk?
Detective Smith: About what time was this?
Dr. Murray: This he said, "please, please give me some milk so that I can sleep, because I know that this is all that really works for me"
Detective Smith: Hot milk or warm or just--
Dr. Murray: It's just some medicine--
Detective Smith: What--
Dr. Murray: --that he was familiar with
Detective Martinez: What is the medicine?
Dr. Murray: It's called Propofol

He also revealed how he broke the news of Michael's death to Mrs. Jackson....

So we -- they brought her into a room down the hall. And I went in there with the emergency room physician who was treating him, whom I was with all the time through his code, and they broke the news to Mrs. Jackson. So the doctor started to tell that, you know her son came in and he was having difficulty breathing and they tried everything. And she said, "well how is he? He's not dead is he?" and the doctor said "yes," and she broke down. It was very -- and weeping. We stayed there, held her hand."

And here's how he told the children....

They asked questions, and the children found out that daddy wasn't doing well, that he had passed away. And then they were weeping, really weeping...after they cried and cried and then his daughter uttered a lot of words of unhappiness, and you know she will live alone without her dad and she didn't want to be an orphan...She cried and was very stark. And then she asked to see him. And then that was another thing. How do you let children see him? I asked them to prepare Mr. Jackson's body, make it as presentable as possible, because I recommended an autopsy be performed, so that the children would be able to view their daddy and have them say good-bye to him at this time."

But the most shocking tid bit revealed during Dr. Murray's interview was that he told the LAPD that he only left Michael's bedroom for two-three minutes to go to the bathroom after 10:40 a.m.; however, cell phone records indicate that the doctor was on the phone several of his girlfriends/baby mamas (who all took the stand as well and foolishness ensued) in the minutes leading up to Michael Jackson's death.

The phone records don't lie.....and Dr. Murray is going to have a hard time explaining why he shouldn't be considered "negligent" as his patient lay dying and he was outside on the phone with one of his boo thangs....

Week three begins on Tuesday.

LA Laker Lamar Odom was spotted working on his fitness at a gym in his NYC hotel yesterday.  Now that the NBA season has been officially been cut by 2 weeks thanks to the lock out, Khloe's hubby is keeping in shape on his own:

"Reed Between The Lines" star Tracee Ellis Ross was spotted shopping it up yesterday.  She's got a lot of promo events lined up before her October 11th premiere on BET.

Interesting color combo...and sneakers.

 

And singer Alexandra Burke was spotted in the UK (in Cardiff to be exact) before the Michael Jackson Tribute gig she's performing at in the Millennium stadium:

COMBS KIDS: Justin Combs Becomes A Football ALL-AMERICAN+Christian Combs Hits The Streets

Justin Combs isn't just Diddy's oldest son, the 17-year-old (he turns 18 this December) is also working extra hard at his football game.  He's being recruited by the best Division colleges already with scholarship offers, and just nabbed an All-American title.  Deets and pics inside on Diddy's kiddies....

Justin's been working hard on the football field for years...making his own name for himself.  And now it's paying off.  Cutie Justin was just named to the All-American team (pretty big deal in the high school football world), but he hasn't made a college selection just yet.  He's a senior at Iona Prep high school in New Rochelle, NY and plays quarterback, kick returner and cornerback::

“It’s just a dream come true.  I dreamed about this when I was younger and now I don’t even know what to say about it. I‘m just living my dream. All my hard work has paid off.  I sacrificed my whole summer just to get better. I worked with professionals to improve my game. If you want something so badly you will do anything for it and I want this more than anything.”

And his coach Vic Quirolo said about his work ethic:

“I remember one time Justin told me that he flew out to Texas, for a whole week, just for speed training.  He is extremely dedicated, it’s great to see.  I thought that it wasn’t until last year in the middle of the season he really came into his own.  That was his breakout point. But you could always tell he was an athlete even as a freshman.”

Only 100 kids nationally were selected to play in the televised All-American bowl on Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ, January 3, 2012. Congrats Justin!

By now we all know Diddy & Cassie are boo'd up.  But apparently they don't know we know.  The affectionate twosome was spotted leaving out of their Manhattan hotel yesterday--and trying to avoid the camera once they spotted the paps.

Eddie Murphy and Gabby Sidibe are heading to a big screen near you in Tower Heist. See the trailer inside and find out what record labels were shut down by RCA earlier today.

Eddie Murphy's latest flick, Tower Heist is headed to a big screen near you on November 4th. 

The Brett Ratner-directed flick stars Eddie and Gabby Sidibe along with Ben Stiller as a group of hard working hotel employees who conspire to rob the high-rise of a wealthy business owner whose Ponzi scheme has destroyed their retirement.

And in music news.....

 

The labels that built careers of everyone from Whitney Houston and R. Kelly to Fantasia and Alicia Keys are closing!  Or.....in business terms, they're being folded into a larger unit.  According to a statement released by RCA earlier, today...

"In an effort to refresh RCA Records, all label imprints -- J Records, Arista Records and Jive -- will now be under the the iconic RCA Records label."

So don't worry, your favorite artists still have record deals.  Same -ish......different label.

 

Rihanna Hits The Club In London With Her Boxer Boo....& Breaks Madonna's Record!

Rihanna's still living her rockstar life of constant touring and even more constant partying.  She was spotted hitting up Mahiki nightclub in London last night after her LOUD tour stop at O2 Arena.  And she had her rumored new boo Dudley O’Shaughnessy (the boxer from her "We Found Love" vid) along with her.

Looks like Rih really is getting close to her "We Found Love" leading man Dudley.  Photographers and sources at the club say the two indeed hit Mahiki together (*updated with picture with him included*) last night.

And maybe the 'Cheers" singer was celebrating officially breaking Madonna's record (with "We Found Love") of having 20 top 10 songs in the shortest amount of time--6 years & four months!
