| Posted: 20 Aug 2012 01:09 PM PDT Well, this certainly adds more legitimacy to the exciting reports that Nicki Minaj has joined the judges panel of American Idol! While the rapper has yet to publicly confirm her role on the reality competition, sources close to production have revealed that it has not been an easy process working out the contract...but it's not her fault! Instead, it's because of her recent endorsement deal with Pepsi, as Idol is sponsored by Coca Cola! However, a similar situation arose with Jennifer Lopez and her Fiat commercial deal conflicted with Ford's sponsorship of the series, and thankfully that worked out all right! So we'd say that the chances are PRETTY high that Her Minajesty will be okay! But who else will be joining she and Mariah?! Insiders claim that despite Nick Jonas and Pharrell rumors, the show WILL be re-formatting again to accommodate FOUR judges, with Keith Urban and Enrique Iglesias being the top choices! Meanwhile, Randy Jackson will be bumped into role as mentor! WOW! Obviously, they are all still in the midst of trying to work out all of the details and legal mumbo jumbo, but we WILL say this! | Cher Lloyd Forced Off Stage By Boos & Pee Bottles! Posted: 20 Aug 2012 12:52 PM PDT Pee-filled bottles?!?! EEEEWWWWWWWW times a million!!!! Our favorite British milkshake-making brat Cher Lloyd suffered some completely deplorable abuse this weekend during her performance at V Festival in Essex, UK (above)! Apparently halfway through her set, the Want U Back singer started hearing boos, and THEN someone threw a bottle onstage filled with a smelly liquid believed to be PEE! F*cking disgusting! It seems Cher was (obviously) upset by the urine-slinging festival goers, but girl took to Twitter to clarify that it was only a few rowdy messes who were ruining the show for everyone else. Cher tweets:
Ugh! If you don't like someone's music then DON'T GO TO THEIR SHOW... especially at a festival that gives you the option of seeing a host of other acts!!! Some people! Well, whatever, we adore Cher and are simply besotted by her unique, supreme vocals! Can't wait until Sticks + Stones debuts in the US this September 18th! And it seems the X Factor judge took some time this weekend to celebrate by dining on some delcious looking dishes and hanging with friends (above). Sounds like the perfect birthday weekend to us! We are SO impressed by the mature young woman Demi is becoming, and by how far she's come on her difficult, mind-warping, child-star journey. Oh, you have so many great things ahead, Demi, we can feel it deep in our bones! | NBC Says Al Roker's 'Under The Bus' Comment Was NOT About Ann Curry Posted: 20 Aug 2012 12:21 PM PDT A likely story...? Our mouths DROPPED when we heard Al Roker's "under the bus" dig at Matt Lauer last Thursday and thought it was most certainly a reference to Ann Curry. Apparently, we and everyone else watching were wrong though. NBC says they were simply engaging in fun on-air banter and point out the fact that the two have joked about throwing someone "under the bus" at least 27 times throughout the last two years. If that's true, then what was up with Lauer's tense reaction (above) in which he scolded, "Mr. Roker..."? Furthermore, if that really was just their regular banter, then these guys need to come up with some new material! |

Despite asking for her hand in marriage in May of 2011, the Man of Steel has reportedly ended his three-year relationship with professional show jumper Ellen Whitaker. A friend of the 26-year-old equestrian confirmed the split by saying:
What?! How could you not want to get it on with that beefcake? Oh, wait. They said getting on... whoops! ;) Anyway, we're sorry to hear things didn't work out, but we're not that sorry to hear he's on the market again! This rising superstar has lots of mixing and mingling to do now that he's single. Scarlett Johansson looked as happy as can be while taking a Sunday stroll through Paris with her boyfriend, Nate Naylor. The couple cuddled close as they made their way toward a restaurant with friends for dinner. The Avengers actress looked like more of a seksi librarian than a Black Widow though. She wore her blond hair in a bun with a pair of black-rimmed glasses accenting her beautiful face and black shorts showing off her her toned thighs. ScarJo has had her fair share of romantic woes, which include failed relationships with Hollywood hunks Ryan Reynolds and Sean Penn, so it's nice to see her arms wrapped around another man again. But Oprah already knows that, of course, so she wants to know who Rihanna REALLY is deep down inside that gorgeous exterior. During her interview with the singer on Sunday's episode of Oprah's Next Chapter, the Big O asked her subject (above), "Who are you?" RiRi applauded the "really good question," but had a tough time actually answering it. If this was a job interview, we're not sure she would have gotten the position, so it's a good thing she already has enough money to never work another day in her life. Ha! |
| Don't Worry, Chicago! Jenny McCarthy Plans To Stay In The Windy City! Posted: 20 Aug 2012 11:51 AM PDT Once a Chicago girl, ALWAYS a Chicago girl! Sure, Jenny McCarthy may have split from Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher, but that doesn't mean she's turning her back on the Windy City! In her new column for the city's The Daily Splash, Jenny is declaring her love for the city she grew up in, and announcing that she is "here to stay!" Despite moving to El Lay at the age of 20, Jenny-O claims she "did her best to blend into L.A.," but with her "high-pitched, nasal Chicago accent," she's decided to leave behind the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and raise her son Evan in the city she once called home. Being a successful actress, Playboy model, and of course at one time being one-half of a very A-list relationship with Jim Carrey, it shocks us that Jenny would want to leave it all behind to live in Chi-Town. We hope this isn't a permanent decision seeing as Mz. McCarthy's beautiful smile is meant for the glittery lights of Tinsel Town! | Posted: 20 Aug 2012 11:22 AM PDT If you're like us, you have been wondering why a vibrant, successful man like Tony Scott would take his own life. Many have assumed a secret battle with depression, but it looks like that was incorrect. According to a source close to the Top Gun director, he had inoperable brain cancer. We can only assume from this news that Tony's suicide was not a measure of desperation and sadness, but rather a choice to spare himself a long and painful death at the mercy of a horrible illness. While it's nice to know that the man behind some of our favorite films, like Days Of Thunder, True Romance, and Man On Fire, wasn't harboring a secret pain from the world, this decision still saddens us. We can understand not wanting to face inevitable agony, but we believe there's always a better way. As long as there's time, there's hope. As long as there's life, there's a chance at happiness. As long as you can spend one more moment with the people who love you, life is still worth living.
