Ciara's Open Letter Sets Up Next Single "Sorry"

Ciara posted a "Sorry" letter to a mysterious "YOU" where she pours out her heart about how hurt she is when she and "YOU" walked away from each other.  And she also posted messages hinting about her upcoming single by the same name, "Sorry."

 

Deets inside...

Ciara posted the letter above to her Twitter and Instagram saying, "A LiL Somethin From My Heart."

And even though she doesn't say exactly who "YOU" is who she has parted ways with and cried over at night, we have our ideas.

Is "YOU" actually music itself?  Seeing that for the past few years, she and music haven't seemed to really work out together.   But now, CiCi's giving it another whirl with L.A. Reid, who revealed last week that her next single was indeed dropping soon.  So maybe she wanted an apology from the music industry for....something?

Either way, it seems as though the 8/20 date at end of the letter is the date of her next single off her upcoming One Woman Army album, which seems to be called "Sorry."

Erica Dixon & Alleged Fiance Lil' Scrappy HIT UP Kids Fashion Show in Atlanta With Cynthia, NeNe, Phaedra, Tiny, Their Kids & More

As rumors of an engagement swirl, Lil' Scrappy and Erica Dixon were among the celebs at the Wonderland Safari Kids Fashion Show in Atlanta recently.  See pics of NeNe, Cynthia and Phaedra inside too.....

 

 

As rumors about them getting engaged on the upcoming reunion show of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" swirl, (see leaked pics from their recent ROLLING OUT shoot), Lil' Scrappy and Erica Dixon (along with Momma Dee) attended the Wonderland Safari Kids Fashion Show in Atlanta this weekend.  How cute is their little girl?!  And Erica is looking pretty freaking fabulous. 

 

 

NeNe Leakes arrived at the event with (ex?) husband Greg Leakes and son Brent.

Meanwhile, Apollo was spotted in the background.

NeNe chatted it up with "RHOA" castmate Cynthia Bailey and possible newbie Kenya Moore.  Ok NeNe....giving FACE.

Kenya looked gorge in a nude one shoulder cocktail dress and sparkling pumps. Loves the look.  Can we discuss how flawless her face is?  Goodness.

Phaedra and Ayden joined Kenya, NeNe and Porsha Williams (the other possible newbie) in the front row.

 

And Phaedra & Apollo--with their super cute son Ayden--snapped pics outside and hit the catwalk.

Rapper Webbie was spotted with his young ones.  Where has HE been?

Tiny was there too.

Kim & Kanye Grab Ice Cream & A Snippet Of Their Phone Convo Gets Released

Kanye & his chick he says is made of perfection are still in Hawaii.  He & Kim K. were spotted grabbing ice cream in Honolulu.  And we also now can get a peek into just how their conversations with each other go.  You know you've been wondering what exactly these two chat about.   So The New Yorker posted a piece of their convo that occurred during Kim's cover story interview with the mag.  Check it....

Kim & Kanye took a break from the studio and went to grab some sweet treats.  And in the new issue of The New Yorker, the magazine published half of a phone convo they overheard between Kim & Kanye when he called toward the end of her cover story interview.  Kim's words:

'Hello? Hey. Just leaving the zoo. I’m finished with my shoot and I’m just finishing up. I’m heading actually to your place right now.

'Where are you? Okay. So maybe I’ll go in and change and then I’ll eat… What time is that at? Seven? Will you be done?… Okay, so, that’s an hour.

'So I’ll just wait at the place. Will you come get me? Okay, well, I don’t have a car. Do you want me to just take a cab? Or can your car come get me first?…

'Where is ‘up here’? Is it far? Okay, well, um, maybe...'

The conversation continues until Kim ends with a 'Love you, too. Bye.'

Evelyn Lozada SPEAKS OUT Saying Domestic Abuse Is NOT OK + Chad Johnson's PAST Domestic Abuse SURFACES!

As drama rages in her life, Evelyn Lozada has spoken out for the firt time since Saturday's domestic violence incident with husband Chad Johnson.  And she's pissed about what he's telling folks.  Get the deets inside and find out about Chad Johnson's past issues with domestic violence.

Now, Ev is speaking out about the events from Saturday telling Entertainment Tonight that she is upset Chad is not taking responsibility, is blaming HER, and she says he needs to get help.  Her just released statement is below:

"It is with great sadness and much trepidation that I release this statement addressing the domestic violence incident that happened this past Saturday. I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me, it is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well. I'm grateful to my family, friends and fans for the outpouring of support during this difficult time."

I wonder if she'll change her outlook on fighting other women as well.

 

In addition to dealing with the fallout of her marriage, Evelyn is mourning the death of the man who walked her down the aisle on the recently cancelled reality show "Ev and Ocho," her brother-in-law Anthony Ochoa (pictured above).

Although Anthony lost his battle with cancer, he was able to fulfill a dream Evelyn revealed on "BBW" and escort her down the aisle.

She told TMZ, "Anthony was an amazing husband, father, and brother-in-law. He will be dearly missed."

And while Ev mourns, the past of her husband has come back to haunt him. Recently revealed court docs show the details behind Chad's previous DV arrest.  Chad was found guilty in LA of slapping his girlfriend in 2000, shortly before he began playing for Oregon State University.

Chad got 3 years probation and was able to avoid his 45 day jail sentence by completing 30 days of graffiti removal work with CalTrans and a 12 month batterer's counseling program. After years of blowing it off, he finally completed his obligations in 2002. Ironically, the "slap" incident also occurred because he accused his girlfriend of cheating on him.

It was a night of YBF chicks on Jay Leno's couch as First Lady Michelle Obama stopped by, and so did Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas.  Checkout their funny convo inside...

Glammed up in a gold BCBG bandage skirt and a black leather jacket, 16-year-old Gabby Douglas made one of her first big late night appearances last night on "Tonight Show With Jay Leno." 

First up was Mrs. O who dished on that super cute Kiss cam hoopla at the Men's Basketball exhibition game in D.C. a little while ago.  She explained the only reason she didn't kiss the President during the first Kiss Cam is because she had just walked in with the girls and was caught off guard and didn't realize this was the KISS cam.  So Malia arranged for them to get a second try and moved right next to them to make sure they nailed it the second time.  Ha!

The First Lady also dished on bringing her Let's Move campaign to London for a few days during the Olympics as the UK also is on a mission to fight obesity.  And when she hosted the day of play at the US Ambassadors home, her playing with the kiddies and running under parachutes made the Secret Service go nuts.

Mrs. O stuck around for Gabby Douglas' segment.  And when the teen superstar admitted her first splurge after the Olympics was a McDonald's egg mcmuffin, The First Lady jokingly told her not to admit that because she's setting her back!

Fab actress Halle Berry turns turns 46 today. Pay homage to the timeless beauty inside...

 

Halle Berry, an actress of many transformations, turns 46-years-old today.  She's been a Catwoman, a Bond girl, and as she plays a white Jewish woman in her upcoming flick Cloud Atlas, Halle is showing Hollywood there's no role she can't tackle.  And as one of the only leading ladies who pulls off her own stunts, she consistently proves she's up for a challenge.

Her birthday week got off to a dramatic start with an elderly woman collapsing at her dinner table on Sunday.  While dining out with fiance Olivier and daughter Nahla, the lady walked past Halle's table and slipped and fell and ambulances were called in.  Halle jetted before finding out the outcome.

DJ Khaled just dropped his video for "I Wish You Would" featuring 'Yeezy & Ricky.   Check out the tantrum camera shots inside...

Rick Ross & Kanye West joined Khaled to shoot the vid for their newest single.  With the Hit-Boy directed track being all about threatening folks who piss you off, director Hype Williams matched the over-the-top beat with crazy shaking camera shots.

Check it.  "I Wish You Would" appears on Khaled's upcoming Kiss The Ring album dropping next Tuesday.

Missy & Timbaland WON"T Be INVOLVED In New Aaliyah Project + Zoe Saldana COVERS The September Issue Of MALIBU Magazine + Gabby Douglas SET For "Oprah's Next Chapter."

Aaliyah fans may not get to see Timbaland and Missy on the new Aaliyah project.  Get the deets on where Missy stands on the album and see Zoe Saldana on the cover of MALIBU mag and get info on Gabby Douglas chatting it up with Oprah.

 

Though fans were buzzing about the announcement that Timbaland and Missy would be involved in the upcoming Aaliyah project, based on what the production company said, a rep for Missy has dispelled those rumors. 

Mona Scott-Young, reality show producer and Missy's longtime manager, said,

"Although Missy and Timbaland always strive to keep the memory of their close friend alive, we have not been contacted about the project nor are there any plans at this time to participate. We've seen the reports surfacing that they have been confirmed to participate but that is not the case. Both Missy and Timbaland are very sensitive to the loss still being felt by the family so we wanted to clear up any misinformation being circulated."

Missy added,

“Tim and I carry Aaliyah with us everyday, like so many of the people who love her. She will always live in our hearts. We have nothing but love and respect for her memory and for her loved ones left behind still grieving her loss. They are always in our prayers."

Movie actress Zoe Saldana recently struck a pose or two for the September issue of MALIBU Magazine.  

 

The gorgeous black-and-white set was snapped by Mark Squires.

Zoe is currently starring in the upcoming flick "The Words" with Bradley Cooper.  HOT shoot.

 

Meanwhile, Oprah Winfrey's OWN has announced that Lady O will sit down with Gabby Douglas, the 1st African American to win a gold medal in the Olympics all-around competition. Gabby will appear on OWN network’s “Next Chapter” where she'll discuss her rise to the Olympics, her hair and her family issues.

Recently, Gabby posted a heartfelt message on her Facebook page saying:

WOW! What an AMAZING journey! I had such an incredible time representing my country with my teammates! I really enjoyed meeting all of the other athletes too. I am going to miss London! I had so much fun there! I am still taking in everything that happened. I think it is going to take a little while for it all to completely sink in! ACROSS THE POND: Celebs Celebrate Closing Weekend Of London Olympics!

It was a big celeb-filled celebration over in London this weekend as the 2012 Olympic Games came to an end.  And TEAM USA clearly came out the winners in the medal count.

 

Check out how Nas, LaLa, LoLo, basketballers, Swizz Beatz, Ludacris & Eudoxie, LeToya Luckett, Gabby Douglas and more spent the weekend inside...

Nas & Swizzy spent the weekend over in London.  And made sure to party it up at The Roundhouse with their boys from TEAM USA basketball--Kobe & Carmelo.  Nas said he was given tix to the Final game by Carmelo & LeBron, so he changed dhis flight (which was orginally going back to the states the day before) to watch history.  Nice!

Nas also kicked it with YBF track star LoLo Jones.

Swizzy also spent time with his daughter Nicole, who lives in London with her mother, and visited tons of art museums.  Fun!

LaLa spent time with her good friend Ludacris and his girlfriend Eudoxie while doing some sightseeing in London.  Luda was in Londontown to shoot Fast & The Furious 6.

LaLa also posted pics of her and Carmelo hanging out, and little Kiyan trying to wake up daddy at the hotel!

Her girl Estelle finally got back to her home city and they snapped pics in front of the MCM store's truck.

Track star Allyson Felix showed off her golden "triplets" as she called them as she did some promo on the last day of the Olympics.

Our fave history maker Gabby Douglas took some time away from all the publicity hoopla to do a little shopping around London with her Fab 5 teammate Aly.

Dwyane Wade has been jetsetting around Europe and spent the weekend in London cheering on his teammates.  His sons Zaire and Zion were pooped during their helicopter ride!

Model Jourdan Dunn repped for her country during the closing ceremonies.  Hot!

The basketballers were caught snoozing on their final bus ride.

Hottie track star Ryan Bailey snapped a pic with Alexandra Burke while out partying this weekend.

And LeToya Luckett showed her fans how much fun she had around Londontown in between cheering on her man Kevin Durant to his Gold medal:

Fun times outside the Queen's crib, as LeToya called it.

Lauryn Hill's Tax Evasion Mugshot RELEASED!

Rapstress icon Lauryn Hill was arrested a few months ago for tax evasion, and now her mugshot has been released.  See it inside.....

 

We told you earlier about Lauryn Hill's tax woes (she didn't pay them for three years) and now her mugshot has been revealed.

Lauryn was arrested back in June and pleaded guilty to tax evasion in U.S. District Court in Newark, New Jersey.

She is currently free on a $150,000 unsecured bond and will face the judge for sentencing on November 27.

Beyonce's Camp Runs Down Her CHARITABLE Resume To Dispute Harry Belafonte's CRITICISMS

Beyonce's camp has responded to iconic actor/singer Harry Belafonte's recent criticism of her and Jay-Z's involvement in the community.  In his opinion, the powerful duo don't do enough.  Find out what Beyonce's camp responded with inside.....

 

Now that iconic crooner Harry Belafonte has blasted Jay-Z and Beyonce for not doing enough for minorities, Bey's camp is fighting back.

Earlier, Harry spoke out about charitable images of minorites in Hollywood saying to the Hollywood Reporter last week:

Not at all. They have not told the history of our people, nothing of who we are. We are still looking. We are not determinated. We are not driven by some technology that says you can kill Afghans, the Iraqis or the Spanish. It is all -- excuse my French -- shit. It is sad. And I think one of the great abuses of this modern time is that we should have had such high-profile artists, powerful celebrities. But they have turned their back on social responsibility. That goes for Jay-Z and Beyonce, for example. Give me Bruce Springsteen, and now you’re talking. I really think he is black.

Now Bey's camp is having their say.   Her rep shot back in an email to media with what she called “an abbreviated list of the unselfish work Beyoncé has done and continues to do.”

The list ran down Bey's charitable works including her "I Was Here" video she shot for World Humanitarian Day this past week, which paid homage to the work done by humanitarian workers, co-founding The Survivor Foundation “a multi-purpose community outreach facility in downtown Houston”, donating $100K in 2008 to the Gulf Coast Ike Relief Fund to aid Texas victims of Hurricane Ike and performing in “MTV’s Hope For Haiti Now!

Maybe this still doesn't impress Mr. Belafonte.  But folks should always remember that not everyone puts their charitable acts on full display.  Some celebs do, some celebs don't.  The important thing is that everyone gives back in some way.

CHANGE OF PLANS: VH1 CANCELS "Ev & Ocho" Afterall!

As the reality show world (and Chad Johnson's career) turns, VH1 has had a change of heart about their two newest spin-off reality stars.  The network just sent out a statement moments ago saying the opposite of what ABC News Radio reported earlier.  "Ev & Ocho" is officially yanked!

 

In a statement from VH1 sent just minutes ago, the reality series "Ev & Ocho" has been axed.  The statement reads:

"Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series 'Ev and Ocho' from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it."

If this was a publicity stunt, that ish was the definition of FAIL.  No NFL contract OR reality show for Chad.  And no tweets from Evelyn since the night of the domestic dispute. 

No extra reality show checky checks from VH1 for these two.  Ish just got real. 

CAT DADDY: Quincy Jones SPOTTED With Younger Mystery Boo

Quincy Jones was spotted in St. Tropez recently with his much younger lady friend.  Check out their pics inside....

Iconic music producer Quincy Jones was seen on the beach with his mystery boo after having lunch at Club 55 in St. Tropez, France today.  He's 79 and dude is all about living life during his golden years we see.

 

We're not sure who the young lady is yet, but Quincy seemed very affectionate with her.

In the meantime, Quincy is producing the musical score for Lee Daniel's flick The Butler.

THE SHOW MUST GO ON: Chad Johnson & Evelyn Lozada Still Set To Air As Planned

It's no surprise, but VH1 has every plan to go forth with Chad Johnson & Evelyn Lozada's "Ev & Ocho" reality show, despite their domestic abuse scandal this weekend....

 

Since pulling any show that has been given a boost of publicity due to a domestic abuse and arrest would just be foolish, VH1 is still set to kick off the couple's reality show this September.

ABC News Radio reports:

ABC News Radio has learned that VH1 still plans to air "Ev & Ocho" as planned. The series, which follows the couple as they prepare for the nuptials with the help of wedding planner Diann Valentine, is set to premiere on the network on Sept. 3, 2012 at 9:30 PM PT/ET.

It's still unclear whether cameras are still rolling (even though we wouldn't be surprised if they just so happened to get cut back on today if they weren't).  The show, however, is being promoted as Chad & Evelyn's wedding planning ups and down before their big day--which was only a month ago.

Meanwhile, both Chad & Evelyn appeared on HBO's "Hard Knocks: Miami Dolphins" docuseries (pictured above) recently about the pre-season trials and tribulations of NFL players.  And Chad, the newest Dolphin at the time the series was taped, gave plenty of red flags about what was to come.

"You think the critics are bad," Chad said during a confessional.  "When I'm not doing well, she's actually the worst critic of them all. I didn't have sex the entire season last year because of my play. But I scored a touchdown, she allowed me to score. But after that, went back on cobweb mode."

The couple talked on the show about their first date at McDonald's after meeting on Twitter. And how Chad was calling Evelyn everything he could except for the B word, just to piss her off. But then, "hate turned into love," Evelyn said on the show. Chad's epiphany?  "Whenever you pause [video game] Call of Duty for someone, that's the f*cking one."

And when the the players were given a few days off, Chad jokingly (we hope) said, "I promise you I'm getting arrested while we're off."

Planned publicity stunt?  Who knows. But even though Chad has been fired from the Dolphins as of last night, he's still got a show to look forward to.  Will you be watching?
