For The Last Time, Chris Brown DOES NOT Want To Talk About Rihanna … On Twitter!

Posted: 14 Nov 2011 01:20 PM PST

Chris Brown tweeted - then deleted - some heat about his followers asking him about Rihanna on his feed.

His rant went on for quite a while, explicitly yelling at people who dare ask him about that time, in which no one has forgotten, when he beat RiRi in 2009.

His rant went a little something like this:

"dont say sh*t to anybody and everyone feels its cool to attack me. GROWN ADULTS!!!! that sh*t happened three years ago!

i know alot of you wack @ss(OLD) celebrities probably wanna f*** my ex but talking sh*t on me wont get u far!

and to be REALLY HONEST... yall wonder why n*gga spazzes all the time? Lol"

Wow. You know Chris Brown, as the great Andre 3000 once wrote: We know you'd like to think your shit don't stank. But lean a little bit closer. See that roses really smell like poo-poo-poo.

And that's all we have to say about that.

Now ... GO LISTEN TO RIRI'S NEW SINGLE AGAIN!!!

Sorry, Rob! Kim Kardashian Skipping DWTS Taping

Posted: 14 Nov 2011 12:50 PM PST

Even though she was able to make it out for Kendall Jenner's Sweet 16 last night, Kim is once again laying low tonight.

Kim Kardashian WAS planning on supporting brother Rob Kardashian and attending tonight's taping of Dancing With the Stars, but she's decided that she's not up for it anymore.

Here's what a source had to say about it:

"She's not feeling up to attending tonight's taping. Even though it's really important to her to be there for Rob, she's still so depressed and unhappy to deal with the cameras and attention."

"Kim's told friends she's just going to stay at home and vote as many times as she can. She believes Rob will make it to the final two -- much better than she did when she was on the show."

And here's the source on whether or not Kim will attend a taping if Rob makes it to the finals:

"Kim would definitely go to that to cheer him on."

We're sorry to hear that Kim isn't up for the taping...although if she had enough energy to film a Tyler Perry movie, you'd think she'd be up for coming out to support her brother!

Ah well.

Bring It On The Musical Scores! Three Cheers!

Posted: 14 Nov 2011 12:40 PM PST

We had the pleasure of attending Bring It On the musical at the Ahmanson Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday night and....

We really liked it!

It was surprisingly good!

We went in with really low expectations but were very pleasantly surprised!

The show's producers assembled an impressive team of talent to create the show, "inspired" by the hit cheerleading movie but not an actual adaptation of the film.

And it truly is a stellar crew that put Bring It On the musical together:

The high-flying original musical comedy features libretto by Tony Award®-winner Jeff Whitty, music and lyrics by Tony Award®-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda ("In the Heights"), music by Pulitzer and Tony Award®-winning composer Tom Kitt ("Next to Normal"), lyrics by Broadway lyricist Amanda Green ("High Fidelity") and music supervision by Tony® and Grammy® Award-winner Alex Lacamoire ("In the Heights"). The production is directed and choreographed by Tony Award® -winner Andy Blankenbuehler ("In the Heights").

The show is not quite ready for Broadway, but it's very close!

What we liked most about the show was the music! It was a stellar score with equally good lyrics that felt fun and fresh and was a major win!

The new story was fun and the book captured the tone of the film quite well.

Our biggest critique of the show is that while most of the performances were adequate, there was only ONE actor that was truly exceptional! Adrienne Warren as Danielle totally stole the show! A complete triple threat! Her voice was on-point, her dancing was fab and her acting was nuanced!

If the show goes to Broadway, we also would consider investing more money into the production design and reworking the costumes.

But overall it was a very very enjoyable experience!

Like Legally Blonde meets High School Musical, Bring It On is lighthearted good fun!

Zoe Saldana Calls It Quits With Fiancé After 11 Years

Posted: 14 Nov 2011 12:20 PM PST

It's done-zo.

Zoe Saldana and longtime beau Keith Britton have decided to split. The couple became engaged in 2010 and have been together for eleven years.

The former couple are also business partners for the website, My Fashion Data Base or myFDB.com.

They plan on continuing their business partnership despite the breakup.

Kudos for making it last this long. Eleven years is a lot longer than other relationships nowadays.

Which Two Blondes Crooned Out An Impromptu Duet At David Foster's Wedding?

Posted: 14 Nov 2011 12:10 PM PST

This one isn't complicated: it was Kate Hudson and Avril Lavigne!

Over the weekend, Canadian songwriter/producer David Foster married model Yolanda Hadid in front of friends, family and many famous faces.

Sources from the scene say they saw many a celeb walking around the Foster's fourth nupitals. Michael Buble crooned out a tune, Kenny G played saxophone from table to table and yes, Kate and Avril, who was Brody Jenner's plus-one to the affair, sang a duet!

How nice of them to be in the spirit of David's moment!

Oh yeah, someone else tried to be a part of the big day too: Samantha Ronson.

David's daughter Erin is close pals with Lindsay Lohan's ex, who at one point in the evening "tried to DJ, but was told no," according to an insider.

Whomp, whomp! No offense Sam, but David can afford to have Kenny G play at people's tables! He doesn't need a DJ!

Tintin is Smashing Records…in India!

Posted: 14 Nov 2011 11:50 AM PST

Why can't Tintin be released here yet?!

The Steven Spielberg-Peter Jackson film, The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, had the highest grossing opening for an animated film in the history of India.

The film raked in 73.5 million rupees (about 1.46 million in U.S. dollars) this past weekend, beating Kung Fu Panda 2 by 20 million rupees.

The numbers are even more staggering as Tintin had to compete against the Indian film, Rockstar, which grossed 640 million rupees (12.7 million) and the animation genre is still growing in India.

The film was released in Hindi and English with over 350 prints ordered throughout the country, breaking another record.

This performance is also the highest grossing of ANY of Spielberg's films in India.

Unfortunately, the Americans have to wait until December 21, 2011 before the film is screened in the States

Listen To This: SuBo, Jr.

Posted: 14 Nov 2011 10:50 AM PST

In many ways, Birdy is a lot like Susan Boyle.

Both are British female vocalists who began their careers in talent shows and went on to do mostly cover songs. And we don't usually love artists that mainly do cover songs, but something about these two is quite compelling.

We've posted about Birdy before and we love her. We just got her new album and it is more of the same, which is more songs featuring her haunting voice against stark arrangements - like in People Help The People, a song originally by Cherry Ghost.

We do look forward to hearing original songs from her. But she's only 15! That will come with age!

Check out People Help The People (above). Then CLICK HERE to listen to more music from Birdy!
