DWTS Winner JR Martinez To Co-Host CNN's Heroes

Posted: 24 Nov 2011 12:00 PM PST

It's that time of the year again! The time to watch CNN and cry our eyes out as each hero's story is presented.

But this year will be extra special because Dancing With the Stars' winner and American hero JR Martinez will be co-hosting with Anderson Cooper!

They'll be telling the stories of CNN's chosen ten heroes along with Will.i.am, Christy Turlington Burns, and Kurt Warner.

We're personally extra excited to see more of JR. The veteran has been a major voice for the burn community after suffering his own during his time in Iraq.

We know UR pretty excited about it too so get your iPhone calendars out and set a memo on December 11. That's when they'll air the main event, but if you're really wanting a good cry or just more JR goodness, here's something else...

On Thanksgiving night, CNN will air a Where Are They Now special with JR, Rainn Wilson, and George Lopez as they follow up with heroes of past.

We know you all wanna watch Charlie Brown, but this is definitely something worth recording!!

Oh, girl. Oh, girl.

Lea Michele is workin' it up all the way from the H to the D on that Hollywood sign!

First she was blowin' everyone away with her acting and singing chops on Glee. Then she surprised everyone as the youngest red carpet diva, consistently wowing fashion critics with her impeccable dresses.

And now the chick can add a dedicated parking spot at the recording studio too. She has two songs on the New Year's Eve soundtrack. Two songs we know are just gonna be FAH-EYRCE!

So when that shit comes out, you wanna be lookin' for tracks #1, Can't Turn You Loose by Jon Bon Jovi with Princess Lea and #8. Auld Lang Syne – with Princess Lea killin' it solo!

Oh! Speaking of that Valentine's Day afterthought, if you wanna see the trailer, please press play on that video above!

We're not gonna lie. It looks wayyy better than VD!

Netflix Has Antitrust Suit Dropped

Posted: 24 Nov 2011 10:30 AM PST

Any win is a big win for Netflix right now, who recently let loose that they wouldn't be making a profit in 2012, and after a slew of stupid decisions that caused customer backlash.

There was a class action suit against the company, as it was alleged that a deal between Netflix and Walmart had been illegal a few years ago that dealt with online DVD rental when Blockbuster entered the race and it seemed like Amazon was about to as well. But Amazon didn't, and we all know what happened to Blockbuster, so 8 plaintiffs assumed that there was antitrust behavior that resulted in higher prices.

The judge thought otherwise, because there was no proof:

"The Promotion Agreement on its face discloses an agreement by both parties to undertake cross-promotional efforts with respect to each other's complementary online DVD rental and sales services, in light of Walmart's independent decision to exit the DVD rental market. Not only does the agreement expressly acknowledge the independent nature of Walmart's decision to exit the market, but it furthermore expressly states that Walmart is free to re-enter the same market. Under these circumstances, the court cannot agree that the agreement on its face reflects a blatant agreement to eliminate Walmart from the online DVD rental market as a form of market allocation."

Notice how we didn't really mention that Walmart was a part of this?

That's because they settled out of court so they wouldn't have to pay legal fees -- and with this dropping, it looks like they wouldn't have lost that $27.25 million.

Whomp whomp.

Nicole Richie Talks Her One-Year Anniversary With Joel Madden!

Posted: 24 Nov 2011 09:30 AM PST

Hey! We're not going to lie!

Joking or not, this sounds like FUN! Ha!

Thanksgiving and Christmas aren't all that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden look forward to this time of year, as their one year wedding anniversary is fast-approaching on December 11th, and the former reality starlet recently revealed what the pair have planned!

She says:

"Well his dream day is probably watching football and playing video games, and my dream day is watching Real Housewives, so maybe that will be our one-year [celebration]. We'll do a game in the day and then Housewives at night. No, I'm totally kidding. I don't know. I have no idea yet."

Hey! With two young children, we don't blame them for not having a concrete plan just yet!

But we're sure no matter what you two ultimately decide to do, it will be a lovely celebration!

Congrats on your first year of marriage! Many more to come!

The rumors are...kinda true??

The Black Eyed Peas are NOT breaking up, but they did announce on Ellen that they ARE going on hiatus for a bit.

Will.i.am admitted that they want to work on sole and side projects while Fergie wants to settle down and start a family with hubby Josh Duhamel.

This isn't really that big of news, is it? It seems like they've taken breaks before. Oh well. Glad they're not breaking up.

Watch their "announcement" above.
