Tamar Braxton Rings In Her Birthday At BET's "Celebration Of Gospel" + Viola Davis, "R&B Divas", & More Hit The Show Posted: 17 Mar 2013 09:55 AM PDT Singer Tamar Braxton turns 36 today.  And the preggers "Love & War" singer brought in her birthday by hitting up BET's "Celebration of Gospel" show last night in L.A.   We've got pics of her performance and the red carpet pics with the "R&B Divas" and more inside.... Our fave Braxton sister, Tamar, (well, we love them all) performed onstage during the BET Celebration of Gospel 2013 at the Orpheum Theatre last night.  And she rocked a gorgeous white gown as she posed it up with her hubby Vince Herbert.  The two are filming their spinoff show and the new season of "Braxton Family Values" is currently airing.   She also hit the carpet with her mom Evelyn.  Absolutely loving this white dress for Tamar. And was one of the performers of the night, along with Anita Baker.  Tamar belted out "Be Grateful," and other performers were Tamela Mann and Donnie McClurkin.   Kym Whitley, who has a new show on OWN called "Raising Whitley," hit the carpet looking nice. "R&B Divas L.A." castmates Kelly Price and Lil Mo both hit the carpet.  Can't wait till that kicks off.   Yolanda Adams sparkled it up in blue on the carpet. "The Talk" co-host Sheryl Underwood put on her best church suit and wig.  Sigh. Tamar caught up with "R&B Divas" producer Phill Hammond outside. David Mann and Tamela Mann (also known as "The Browns") popped up at COG.   Tyrese, Le'Andria Johnson, (who together performed "A Song For You") & Stephen Hill all snapped a pic inside. And Viola Davis rocked a risk taker of a white lace dress as she chilled in the audience before presenting.  Chick loves a touch of sex appeal with her dresses doesn't she? T.I., Tiny & The Kids Celebrate Domani's GRAND HUSTLE Birthday + The Harris Fam Gets RENEWED For 3rd Season Of "T.I. & Tiny" Posted: 17 Mar 2013 09:14 AM PDT It's Domani Harris' 12th birthday!  The celebuspawn celebrated with a big party thrown by his dad T.I. and his Grand Hustle company.  And his stepmom Tiny, his mom LaShon, his brothers and sisters and all his friends came out for a big b-day party in the ATL.   Pics inside... At Indigo Lounge in Atlanta Saturday afternoon, T.I.'s second oldest son, Domani, celebrated his bday (it's officially on Tuesday) with cupcakes, a skateboard cake and plenty of friends and fam. The youngin, who we see on the fam's VH1 reality show "T.I. & Tiny: A Family Hustle," wants to be a rapper like his dad.  And we'll be seeing more of the family chaos as the show just got renewed for a third season. The new season premieres April 8th, and here's what you can expect: The royal first family of Hip Hop is back once again for a third season of the wildly popular "T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle” premiering on Monday, April 8th 10PM ET/PT. Featuring rap megastar T.I. "Tip" Harris, his wife, entrepreneur and singer, Tameka "Tiny" Harris, and their brood of six children. With the recent success of T.I.’s new album “Troubleman: Heavy is the Head” and the premiere of Hollywood’s biggest comedy “Identity Thief,” T.I. finds himself spending more and more time in the spotlight. With Tip’s career in full swing, Tiny is busy at home taking care of business with the OMG Girlz! and working to develop a new girl group, French Kiss, with hopes of taking them to the top of the charts. Even though T.I. and Tiny are busy with their own hustle, they always have time for their six kids and each other. With T.I. behind the wheel in the entertainment fast lane this season is sure to take viewers on a ride they won’t soon forget. Domani's grandmother was there to celebrate. T.I. signed autographs for the kids.   TIP's daughter Deyjha, who turns 12 this July, looked cute for the party.  She's getting so tall! The birthday boy snapped a pic with his big brother, 13-year-old Messiah.   8-year-old King rocked his polo for his big bro's party. And 5-year-old Major rocked his own Polo and was his usual cute self.  He turns 6 in May. "TEMPTATION" ATLANTA PREMIERE: Lance Gross, Jurnee Smollett, NeNe Leakes, Tika Sumpter & MORE (Plus EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEWS!) Posted: 17 Mar 2013 08:06 AM PDT The stars showed up at last night's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor premiere in Atlanta.  We've got stars of the movie Lance Gross and his girlfriend, Kim K., Jurnee Smollett and plenty more in their red carpet best inside.... At the premiere of Tyler Perry's Temptation flick at the AMC Parkway Pointe 15 in ATL last night, star Lance Gross brought his stylist girlfriend Rebecca Jefferson along as his date.  And the couple looked fab as usual. TheYBF.com was on the red carpet last night and caught up with Lance.  He dished to us why he took on this Tyler Perry film after saying previously he wanted to branch out from the director: "It was a great script. I was a fan of Jurnee Smollett since Eve's Bayou, I felt like I've grown with her and I also wanted the opportunity to work with her. I also thought it was a great script, working with Tyler Perry is like working with family. So I mean, why not." And he even gave us his 2 cents about Lil Wayne's health scare saying: First of all, I think it's very important in times like this to respect the privacy that the artist or whoever wants. But if any of this is true, my prayers are with him, it's in God's hands right now. But I have a feeling he's going to be alright.   Star Jurnee Smollett-Bell, who's character is married to Lance Gross' character in the movie, hit the carpet in a purple strapless gown and looked gorge while doing interviews on the carpet.  On the carpet, Jurnee gave us the low down on her character in the movie: "My character is a young woman fresh out of college and before she can get her marriage counselor license she takes the only paid internship she can find. She's married to her childhood friend, but unhappy. She meets this guy Harley, played by Robbie Jones, and he starts making her think these thoughts. The film's really about choices and how someone can get in your mind and doubt who you are, make you doubt your lifestyle. And those choices can lead to behavior you never thought you were capable of." As for her own marriage advice, the actress who married Josiah Bell in 2010, tells TheYBF.com: "Honesty, communication. You gotta be vulnerable, you gotta be so open, open your chest up and be like 'here's me and all my flaws, if you love me still let's do this'." And would SHE understand why a woman feels the need to cheat in her marriage?  Jurnee tells us: "Anything in my life I bring a level of myself to each character I take on. So for me it was hard to imagine what it would be like to cheat on my husband, to go there in my head. I had to interview a lot of people and ask questions. Just to try to understand what it's like. So I had to do a lot research for this character."   Jurnee's co-star Robbie Jones snapped a pic of himself on his way to the red carpet event. Robbie, who previously stared on "One Tree Hill" gave us the deets on how he landed his fiery Temptation role of "Harley": "It's kind of a fantastically short story. Tyler Perry saw some of my work, saw a film that I did called Hurricane Season and he called me and really wanted me to be apart of the film. So it was kind of quick. How do you say no to Tyler Perry." And the biggest lesson we'll learn form this flick: "People are going to learn, if they haven't already, that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. It's all about loving the one you're with. There's a lot to be learned from this film." Actress Tika Sumpter looked gorgeous as she came out to support in a white dress and flaunted her new short pixie cut.   She's starring in Tyler's new show on OWN called "Haves & Have Nots." We're pretty sure it's a wig and not an actual chop....but we're loving it! "RHOA" star CYnthia Bailey hit the carpet of course. Co-star of the movie, Kim Kardashian, showed up in a long black lace robe custom made by R&M.  Kanye West, her baby's daddy, was also there, but skipped out on the carpet to let her "have her shine" sources reported.  The couple showed up togetehr to director Tyler Perry's afterparty dinner at his home. Rocsi snapped a pic with her friend Kim. While rocking sequin pants from Phillip Lim and a blazer by Bod & Christensen, Rocsi revealed to TheYBF.com on the carpet that she's been trying to get into a Tyler Perry film for a while now: "I've auditioned for Tyler many, many, times. One of these days he's going to say yes. I might have to put something in his drink tonight to corerce him a little bit. Like, 'Tyler! Tyler, let me play that role!.' But, you know I'm looking for other big hosting roles, I'm an entertainment girl, I like news." Maybe this will be your lucky year Rox.   Jasmine Guy popped up on the carpet looking less washed out than usual. "The New Normal" star and "RHOA" star NeNe Leakes put on a colorful dress as she was back home in ATL for the premiere. "RHOA" star Kandi Burruss hit the red carpet in yellow with her fiance Todd.   And the director himself, Tyler Perry, made a big arrival as well as he pulled up straight to the carpet.  Nice suit. Prince Shuts Down SXSW + Usher & Grace Miguel Take In The Shows + Solange & More Rock The Stages Posted: 17 Mar 2013 06:11 AM PDT Prince was one of the finale acts to close out SXSW last night in Austin (Justin Timberlake also closed out on one of the stages).  Check out pics  of the Purple One rocking out for an audiennce of 300, and Usher & Grace, Solange and more rocking the many stages this weekend.... For his first SXSW appearance, Prince shut it down at the La Zona Rosa club in Austin, TX yesterday on the last night of the big music festival.  He proved he's one of the biggest bosses of music by doing about 8 encores...and performing until 3AM. And you already know there were plenty of costume changes: He brought a 12-piece brass band and they rocked out with all his hits. Usher and his girlfriend Grace Miguel were amongst the concert goers.  And Ursh hit the stage himself at his first SXSW: He also rocked out with The Afghan Whigs for "OMG." And for "Climax" at the Fader Fort on Friday. Solange was spotted looking colorful and cute as usual as she hit the stage all weekend.   She was pretty in pink on the SPIN stages on Friday night.     And Kendrick Lamar and Trinidad James hit the SPIN stages as well.  That's a wrap on SXSW.
