| Tim McGraw In Legal Battle With His Own Record Label Posted: 25 May 2011 12:40 PM PDT Tim McGraw's record company, Curb Records, has sued him for recording songs for his latest album, Emotional Traffic, TOO SOON! What?! Apprently, Tim agreed to record any new albums "no earlier than 12 months and no later than 18 months" from the previous albums release. However, Tim began to record his latest "in 2008 or before", which was prior to the allowable period under the contract. The label maintains the action is "a transparent tactic to attempt to fulfill his contractual recording commitment to Curb prematurely in breach of the recording agreement." No man wants to be accused of being premature, so he has filed a countersuit seeking advance payment and recording-fund reimbursement, unspecified damages, and a jury trial. If he wins, this will also be his last album with Curb. This all seems a little silly to us. If the guy is still delivering music that is making this company money, why does it matter when it is recorded? Apparently, it matters because the record company wants his material to be "topical and new". McGraw insists the album was recorded between 2009-2010 and Curb is actually holding the album "hostage from country music fans for the purpose of compelling Tim McGraw to serve perpetually under a contract that he has already fully and faithfully completed." Sounds like a legal mess that will at least dissolve Tim McGraw's relationship with Curb Records, if not his contract with them. Lady GaGa's Born This Way is set to land the #1 spot on sales charts next week, with 900-950k albums sold, including both digital and physical sales, according to Hits Daily Double. Aside from T-Swizzle's Speak Now, which sold 1.14 million units during its opening week last October, this is the biggest debut we've seen in a long time! Congratulations, GaGa! We KNOW the album will continue to sell like hotcakes…or should we say MONSTERCAKES! Ha! Did U contribute to GaGa's impressive Born This Way release? |

We can certainly understand how Arnold would be frustrated with a lack of romance in his marriage, but instead of dealing with it by having an affair, he should have been more open with his wife about it! Obvi we don't know the whole story - maybe they did try couples' therapy, maybe they did have an open dialogue about their physical issues, but even if they did all of that and things STILL weren't working out, that's not an excuse to go behind his wife's back…and then lie about it FOR YEARS to add insult to injury! There's not one straightforward answer to all of this, but we can safely say that things would have worked out better for Arnold if he had been honest with her. What do U think? | Sad! Several Suicide Attempts Reported On Failed Doomsday Posted: 25 May 2011 12:10 PM PDT Hope this makes you happy, Harold Camping. Where in the Bible does it say these kind of travesties should unfold? On Saturday, the world prepared - or in our case, completely ignored - for the impending Doomsday as foretold by Harold, who claimed he knew it to be so from the Holy Book. Seeing as we're still writing this post and you're still reading it, we gather the Rapture was more or less a bust. Harold's wife says he's "flabbergasted" that the apocalypse didn't happen, but what he really should feel is shame over causing such hysteria in his followers, many of which went to extremes to avoid the impending doom. One elderly man in Taiwan reportedly killed himself just days before the Rapture, fearing that the recent earthquakes and tsunamis were warning signs and that he wouldn't make it. So, rather than wait and see, he threw himself out of building and died on impact. Another horror story comes from right here in California, where a woman named Lyn Benedetto not only tried to take her own life ahead of the Rapture, but also the lives of her two daughters. She was so fearful that her 11 and 14-year-old girls would suffer during the apocalypse, she allegedly forced her daughters to lie on a bed and then cut their throats with a box cutter. The police arrived just in time to save them, thankfully, but Lyn was arrested and the girls were rushed to the hospital. There are many more reports just like this, equally as disturbing and heartbreaking, from around the world of people who genuinely believed this man and his doomsday prophecy. Hopefully, people will take some time to reconsider his credibility and take no heed to his claims that NOW we're all going to perish on Oct. 21. More for the fact that the creators of the album used the picture without permission, and less about Kim Kardashian being embarrassed by it — girl, you have nothing to be embarrassed about! Anyway, the album is called Terrace Martin & Devi Dev Present: The Sex EP (which could easily win greatest EP title ever), and this is what the creators had to say:

It's so glaringly obvious at this point that any statement to the contrary is just insulting! Yesterday, Ian Somerhalder was swarmed by a group of Parisian Vampire Diaries fans as he strolled the city. When he managed to weasel himself out of their clutches, there waiting for him with open arms, was his co-star and girlfriend (yes, we're just going to say it), Nina Dobrev. The pair are vacationing together with their - wait for it - mothers and were spotted walking ahead of the ladies who gave them life to steal a few minutes of snuggling time together. | Barack Obama Broke Royal Protocol At Queen's Banquet Posted: 25 May 2011 11:30 AM PDT Whoops! How embarrassing. Now, everyone is going to remember him ONLY as the President who unknowingly insulted the Queen. Yep, that'll be his legacy. Nothing else… Last night, Barack Obama was the Queen's specially invited guest at a banquet at Buckingham Palace. Honored by the invitation, President Obama attempted to give a speech thanking her Majesty for her friendship and grace. He asked the congregation to stand as he proposed a toast. And then he said, "To Her Majesty the Queen." Thinking that was their cue, the orchestra of the Scots Guard mistakenly started to play God Save The Queen. Everyone fell silent, as is tradition,…except President Obama. Apparently, he was unaware that it is against protocol to talk over the national anthem, especially when you are in front of the Queen. But he forged on with his speech anyway, unaware of the stares he was getting from across the room and the tiniest, but the most uncomfortable smile coming across her Majesty's face. It's hard to watch, but you should anyway! Check out the President's faux pas in the video (above)! AWKWARD!!! |
