Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are among the nominees featured in promo videos for the 2011 MTV Movie Awards which will air LIVE on Sunday June 5. In the clips, K. Stew and Tay Tay meet Movie Awards host Jason Sudeikis in a couple of compromising positions. The clips are meant to be funny … I think. Check them out below and judge for yourselves.

Michael C. Hall & Jennifer Carpenter Surface On The SoCal Set Of ‘Dexter’ Season 6

Dexter co-stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter were spotted in Long Beach, CA this week filming their first scenes together for upcoming 6th season of their show. As you may recall, MCH and Jen –who play brother and sister on the show — announced the end of their short marriage after the last season of Dexter aired last year … so this would be the first time they had to work together since they began divorce proceedings. I wonder if it was awkward.


I understand the TV show set is being kept under-wraps as much as possible so it may take some time for use to sniff out the premise of the coming season. Considering Dexter tends to outdo itself every season, I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us this time around.

‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows – Part 2′ Releases A Lord Voldemort Poster

Previously we’ve seen character posters for Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley to promote the upcoming final Harry Potter film The Deathly Hallows – Part 2 and today we get to see another poster … this time of main villain Lord Voldemort. Check out the poster for You Know Who below.


Because we got 3 hero posters, I’m guessing we may get 3 villain posters now … after Lord Voldemort we may get character posters for Bellatrix LeStrange and maybe even Draco Malfoy. One thing’s for sure, the promo stuff will continue to come out until Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 opens in July … bringing a final end to the Harry Potter saga … for good :(

In The Nicks Of Time

Last night I had the great honor of FINALLY seeing one of rock’s most amazing female musicians live in concert and the only think I could keep thinking throughout the entire show was … what the Hell took me so long to see Stevie Nicks live in concert?! If you can believe it, I managed to score a front row center balcony seat yesterday morning, the day of the concert. I’ve always wanted to see Stevie live but for various reasons, I never actually did. Last night Stevie performed an album release party on her 63rd birthday … and put on a show that I will never forget.


I can’t say I’ve been a huge Stevie Nicks fan over the years but I do love her songs — both with Fleetwood Mac and from her solo catalog — but after seeing her life in concert, I hope to be able to see other live performances from here on out. Stevie sounded AMAZING! She has a very distinctive voice on record but it sounds so lush, so strong in live concert. Here are some of the cell phone photos I snapped:


Dave Stewart (of the Eurythmics) came out to perform with Stevie for a few of her new songs … and Lindsay Buckingham (who Stevie called her oldest friend) came out for one song. Mick Fleetwood was at the show last night as well but he did not perform … he only came out to bow before Stevie during the curtain call at the end. I was really just blown away by the whole show … it was such a treat getting to see Stevie perform on her birthday:


There tables of these mini-cupcakes put out for attendees to snack on in celebration of Stevie‘s birthday. It was just an amazingly fun concert. Stevie performed for about 2 hours … which I really appreciated. I had an absolute blast!

Tonight, it’s back to the Forum to see Prince in concert again. I’m hearing that this weekend’s shows — Friday, Saturday and Sunday — may be the last of his 21 Nite Stand. Rumor has it that Nikka Costa may open for one of this weekend’s shows …but we know for a fact that Mary J. Blige is opening for him on Saturday night. I’m kinda bummed that the Prince run here in LA is coming to a close … but you never know with Prince. He may do a few more shows here in LA before he jets off to Europe for a few Summer shows there. It’s Memorial Day Weekend, y’all! Have a great one!!

British trainwreck Amy Winehouse is back in rehab again … for, like, the 10 millionth time it seems. It’s been a while since she’s been hospitalized due to her drug problems but it’s really not that surprising, sadly. If Lindsay Lohan is back under house arrest, then it must be time for Amy Winehouse to go back to rehab. Oy!

A representative for Amy Winehouse says the singer has checked into a treatment program in London. Spokesman Chris Goodman said Friday that the 27-year-old songstress wants to be sure she’s ready to perform in Europe this summer. The rep says she’ll stay at the clinic on “doctors’ advice.” It was not clear what treatment she’ll get at the Priory Clinic. It offers treatment for a range of psychiatric problems, as well as drug and alcohol addiction. Winehouse’s breakthrough disc, 2006′s “Back to Black,” won her five Grammy Awards and helped her achieve worldwide stardom, but her music has been overshadowed by drug use and legal run-ins. Winehouse has not released much music since, but she performed a short tour in Brazil in January.

It is no secret that poor Amy is an utter mess, gripped in the claw of addiction … but if she is seeking medical help for her addictions then we can only hope for her success. Addicts have to quit over and over and over again … and keep quitting so that they can stay clean and sober. As tragic as this sounds, at least she is getting help again. Amy, stay in rehab for as long as you can girl. Save your own life, please.

Maria Shriver Is Moving Forward With Divorce Proceedings

It’s been a little over a week since we learned that former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered an illegitimate child with a household staffer while he was married to wife Maria Shriver 15 years into their marriage. Nothing official has been filed yet but Shriver has been meeting with divorce attorney Laura Wasserman signaling the fact that she is likely to file for divorce soon from her cheating slimeball husband.

Maria Shriver met with her divorce lawyer today in Beverly Hills and all systems are go to end her marriage to Arnold Schwarzenegger … TMZ has learned. Shriver met with attorney Laura Wasser at the swanky Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills — where Shriver is staying — for a morning meeting. Meanwhile, we’re told Schwarzenegger has met with another high-powered Bev Hills divorce lawyer of his own, Bob Kaufman. Although we do not know if Arnold has formally retained Kaufman. As TMZ first reported, Shriver has been meeting with her financial person for several months now trying to sort out money issues before filing the divorce petition. It’s a little tricky, because the money guy works for both Maria and Arnold and is very close to both of them. A Wasser/Kaufman combo is significant, because both have worked on other high profile cases and have figured out how to handle these situations in a discreet, semi-private manner. Although no divorce petition has been filed — were told it’s just a matter of time.

Oh yeah … the divorce is DEFFO coming. There is no way that I can imagine a scenario where Maria would choose to stay married to a man that so grossly betrayed her … especially not now that the whole world knows just how heinous he truly was to their marriage. Because there is the matter of huge sums of money AND because Maria is a Kennedy, she will move forward quietly and with as much grace as possible. In the end, I’d love for her to take Arnold for everything he’s worth but my guess is that she will settle for a very generous settlement just to get out of her marriage as quickly as possible. It’s so sad that a woman so loyal to her husband was treated so horribly by that husband … but at least she has seen the light. Get your money and run, honey.

‘Torchwood: Miracle Day’ Releases New Promo Photos

Earlier this week we got to see the amazing new promo trailer for the upcoming new season of Torchwood that will be premiering here in the US on Starz this Summer. Today we get to see a few promo photos from the show that give us our first look at the newly assembled US branch of Torchwood ready for action. I love Torchwood … and I LOVE that the new season is set here in the US. I’ve been hoping and praying for the US branch of Torchwood to be located in Detroit, MI but honestly … I’m just glad there’s gonna be a branch here in the US at all. Those of you who are unfamiliar with the British series should totally catch up and watch the previous seasons before Miracle Day premieres this Summer. These characters are fun and the action is really exciting. With writers like Jane Espenson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Battlestar Galactica) working on Miracle Day, you know the show is going to rule. Wee!

First Look: Jennifer Lawrence & Liam Hemsworth Surface On The Set Of ‘The Hunger Games’

On Monday we got to see the first photos of the North Carolina set of The Hunger Games, which went into filming production this week, and today we get our FIRST LOOK at actors Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Willow Shields on the set of The Hunger Games. As you should be well aware by now, Lawrence will play Katniss Everdeen, Hemsworth will play Gale Hawthorne and Shields will play Primrose Everdeen. Additionally, a couple photos of the female and male extras on set suggest that The Reaping scene was filmed yesterday. Click below to see all of these AMAZING new on set photos.


OMG … this is our first look at Katniss, Gale and Prim as they will look in District 12. While reading the books, I imagined these characters to be much skinner and malnourished … Gale, especially, looks really beefy/healthy in this photo. Homie needs to be much skinnier, IMHO. But OMG … how amazing do these on set photos look? The woman in the fourth photo is cited to be author Suzanne Collins … which means if it’s her then she will be playing a cameo role in the film as a District 12 citizen. Squeeeeee!!

The Reaping happens early in the story … it’s a lottery of sorts where the children of all of the districts are culled together in the city square and two tributes — a boy and a girl — are randomly selected to compete to the death in The Hunger Games. There’s a bit more to The Reaping scene but it should be read in the books or seen in the film ;) These photos are so great … anything from the Games set, actually, gets me all excited all over again. Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Get Lovey Dovey On The Beach

Earlier this week we learned that young lovebirds Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez made their way to Maui, Hawaii for a little romantic getaway together … giving JB an opportunity to show off his new Jesus tattoo. Today we get to see more photos of Justena frolicking on the beach together … in pretty touchy-feely way. Yes, there was kissing to be had … as well as straddling and butt caressing. He’s just 17 years old, but as a world-famous pop star Justin Bieber has seen more of the world than men twice his age. And as he frolicked on the beach in Maui with his young starlet girlfriend, Disney star Selena Gomez, 18, with her arms and legs wrapped around him, he certainly seemed older than his years. The baby faced singer has been enjoying a romantic vacation with Selena, staying in a $10,000 a night suite at the Four Seasons Hotel – apparently without the supervision of their parents, or minders. Sweeping Selena, 18, up in his arms, as she clung to his waist, he embraced her in full view of other beach-goers … The pairing of two such teen stars is a publicist’s dream. But while they are reportedly being supervised by their parents – they made sure to stay out of shot so as not to spoil the stunning pictures. Whether the youngsters are allowed to share a bed together is unknown, although with Justin being a minor it’s doubtful their parents would allow such a thing. However, Justin and Selena’s time on the beach appears to be completely unsupervised. At no point during their romantic day together did there seem to be any elders present – aside from their parasail ride of course.

Dang … kids grow up so fast, don’t they? I have to say … it’s a bit … jarring to see this kind of affection from youngsters but in the world of celebrity, age ain’t nothin’ but a number. Interestingly, it appears that Justin and Selena only brought one bathing suit each on this trip … they’ve been wearing these same bathing outfits all week long. It remains to be seen if Justena‘s blossoming love will turn into something substantial (doubtful) or if it will fritter away and die over time (more likely) but for now … it looks like the kids are having fun.
