Kelly Rowland was in Atlanta over the weekend where she hosted an event at The Compound and did promo for her Talk A Good Game disc.  See the pics inside and watch her defend Beyonce's "Bow Down."

Over the weekend, Kelly Rowland flew down to the ATL to wrap up her upcoming album and host a party at The Compound.  While in town, she chatted it up with Big Tigger on his V103 radio show.

Kelly, who was born and raised in Atlanta until she was 7, revealed a few deets about her Talk A Good Game disc which will include a duet with Pharrell Williams.

"I'm actually in the process of wrapping it up this weekend. This is actually the last recording session I've got for this album, but I'm so excited. I've been in the studio with Dream. I've been in the studio with Harmony. I've been in the studio with Pharrell. I've been in the studio with Kevin Cossom, who is incredible. When I tell you, he is so incredible and I'm so happy I got the opportunity to work with him."

She also defended Beyonce's "Bow Down" record saying,

"I've heard pieces of what she's done. She's heard things that I've recorded and I just think it scratches the surface to everything else. I think it's a great record ("Bow Down"). It's her expression. I think, as an artist, you can express yourself however you want to and I just can't wait for everybody to hear the rest of the record. It is insane."

As her "Kisses Down Low" single climbs the charts, fans can expect to hear the completed project on June 4.

Chris Brown chatted with Matt Lauer this morning about the public backlash he went through following his 2009 assault on Rihanna, saying the experience "humbled" him.  Watch him talk about forgiveness and proving himself to fans inside.....

Chris Brown sat down with Matt Lauer on "TODAY" this morning to promote his latest single "Fine China", his "X" album and open up about his life since he was convicted of felony assault charges on Rihanna in 2009. Here are the highlights:

On how he's changed and forgiven himself:

"I've been humbled by the whole experience. From me losing everything, you know, to me having to regain public opinion or whatever it is -- but most importantly, you know, knowing that what I did was totally wrong and having to kind of deal with myself and kind of forgive myself in the same breath and being able to apologize to, you know, Rihanna and be that man that can be who is a man, you know?"

On what the public thinks of him:

"I think everybody is entitled to their opinion. For me, it's just a learning process. You know, I have to just take it one day at a time. I can't make everybody like me ... it's about me being positive."

On his relationship with Rihanna:

"Yeah, everything's good, we're fine. I think it's just me proving myself once again Knowing that what I did was wrong, and never doing it again. So as far as me and (Rihanna) are concerned, she knows my heart, and I know her heart. So I'm not really focused on the negative."

On proving himself:

"For me, it's about proving myself to my fans. The only thing I can do is please my family, myself, and please her, you know, and my fans."

Mekhi made his entrance to Stevie Wonder's "Ribbon In The Sky," while Reshelet kept it traditional and marched in to "Here Comes The Bride," before the couple exchanged vows under an altar made of yellow flowers.

En Vougue Wins Legal Battle For Name....Dawn Lewis & Maxine Jones BANNED From Using It!

Half of En Vogue must GIVE UP & TURN LOOSE their legendary group name.  The messy legal battle between the group members is over....and Dawn & Maxine were left with nothing...

Maxine Jones & Dawn Lewis may have parted ways from half of the group, but they can no longer perform under or use the name En Vogue. Remember all the bank account, lawsuit & split drama with Terry Ellis & Cindy Herron on one side, with Dawn & Maxine on the other?

Well the legal battle for which half of the group gets to use and keep their original group name is finalized.  And TMZ reports Terry & Cindy have been awarded exclusive rights to it.

After Terry & Cindy sued the other two for $1 mill back in all for using the En Vogue name "illegally," the legal battle began.  The claimed since they had the bank accounts in their names and owned the LLC, the name and company is exclusively theirs. The judge agreed, but no damages were awarded.

Meanwhile, Dawn is set to appear on "R&B Divas: LA"....so hopefully we get her side of the story.

Another girl group officially bites the dust....
