The Hills' Jason Wahler Attempted Suicide Before Marital Bliss, Shares How Things Got Better In New Essay

The Hills' Jason Wahler is lightyears away from his old seaside bad boy ways!

The newlywed has not only transformed physically, but emotionally as well since his rebellious teen years.

While Jason refuses to blame the mega-successful show for his demons, he will admit that the overnight fame and all access pass to guilty pleasures only made his mental instability swell up — so much so that he tried to commit suicide!!!

In an uber candid piece, Jason revealed:

"I almost look like a different person. My entire outward appearance has changed -- I now take pride in how I look, and live a healthy lifestyle that is reflected in my physicality. I knew that Laguna and The Hills weren't the source of my addiction, but the overnight success, fame and cash ignited my addiction much quicker. I was so uncomfortable in my own skin that I contemplated suicide a number of times, and even attempted it once. I took 10 times more antabuse than I was supposed to in an effort to take my own life, but was saved after being rushed to the hospital and receiving treatment for my overdose."

YIKES!

We knew Jason was troubled, but we had no clue he felt so low he tried to kill himself!

With 4 years clean as well as the help of Dr. Drew Pinksy and Alcoholics Anonymous, Jason FINALLY got the help he needed and made the lifestyle changes necessary to save his life.

We certainly can do without another another tragic overdose story.

His new wifey is VERY lucky she gets to spend her life with such a strong and brave dude!

Katy Perry's Song Unconditionally Came From Loving John Mayer & THIS Life-Changing Moment!

We knew the song was powerful, and we suspected it was about John Mayer.

But little did we know just how important and touching Unconditionally is for Katy Perry.

While talking about her sweet new song, Katy completely opened up about the two things that inspired her to create it. She revealed:

"Unconditionally was influenced by my boyfriend and also really influenced by Africa. I went to Madagascar and did a UNICEF trip that changed my life and gave me this song. It's just a simple message about loving someone and accepting them and kind of driving at you don't have to be so self-conscious, you don't have to fear, because essentially, everybody has their stuff. Nobody comes stuff-free. Everybody has their things and you're never going to be perfect, and accepting that and understanding that, especially in a relationship, it makes room for a real, genuine kind of love."

That is quite simply a gorgeous statement, and it really couldn't be more true!

We're so happy Katy has found this kind of love in her life and all around her.

John better know just how lucky he is to have her beautiful heart loving him Unconditionally.

Amber Riley Weighs In On Glee Coming To An End

Ugh, the news just keeps sinking in.

But it seems like the cast of Glee is taking the farewell news with a positive attitude.

On Wednesday night, Ryan Murphy announced that Glee will be ending their musical run at the end of the sixth season. And of course everyone has an opinion on the end, including Glee alums.

Amber Riley shared with Arsenio Hall her feelings on the news of the series ending.

She said:

"It's been a couple of years and it's been a really good run. Glee's been an amazing blessing in my life, and to so many other people. I'm sure everybody can attest to a story, or a character they love, or something that really touched their heart so I was really blessed to be a part of that for so many years."

It really was a blessing!

We don't think anyone would've thought (well, aside from us!) that a musical show would have such a successful run from the get-go!

It was an amazing feat to have so many invite you and the other Gleeks into their homes every Thursday night.

Sigh, now we'll have to find another show to fill our musical void.

John Mayer sure better hope so because we hear he's gearing up to pop the big question to the lovely lioness in his life!

Although they had a rocky start, Katy and John have been almost inseparable and unable to contain their joy over their love. And now it seems that love might just boil over into a romantic proposal from John!

An insider has revealed:

"He's proposing to her and he's talking to a ring designer. By Thanksgiving, these two are set to be [engaged]."

What a way to spend the holidays!

But if he gets her a diamond for Thanksgiving, what the hellz is he going to do for Christmas?!

With a reported exposé on the verge of being released by Vanity Fair, we hear the roof is about to be blown off of Gwyneth Paltrow's charmed little life.

And one thing that has supposedly been winding up for the big release date is a rumor about Gwyneth having an affair with Elle Macpherson's now-husband, Jeff Soffer.

We told you earlier today about how VF writer Vanessa Grigoriadis was apparently getting to the bottom of this possible tryst that could leave Chris Martin without a whole lot of trust, but now we're getting Gwynnie's side!

That's right, Perezcious readers, the GOOP goddess' rep commented about the cray cray claims. They said:

"It's completely false. Jeff is a longtime friend of Gwyneth's and there was no romantic relationship with him at all, He flew many of his friends to Miami that weekend - not just Gwyneth."

But like all good rumors, this denial comes with the beginning of another!

It seems ANOTHER "friendship" of Gwyneth's is supposedly being explored by the magazine...

...and this one is with a formerly married literary agent!

Could Gwynnie be somewhat of a serial cheater?? Remember those inneresting comments she made about cheating?? Could they have been about HER?!
