Baggage Claim star Boris Kodjoe flew to Lagos, Nigeria over the weekend for the 2013 Miss Earth Pageant.  He stayed in the posh Presidential Suite at the Lagos Oriental Hotel which boasted a spa and gym.  Also, the hotel provided him with a speed boat.  Nice! Boris, who started his own line of suits (World Of Alfa), posted his beauty pageant attire, "Ready to host the 2013 Miss Earth Nigeria Finals. #ALFAsuit #Africa"     The 2013 Miss Earth beauty pageant was organized by Nigerian actress Ibinabo Fiberisma and held on Sunday at the Oriental Hotel on the Lekki Expressway in Lagos. Boris was joined by Amber Rose and "LAHH  ATL" star Karlie Redd (odd trio right?) at the pageant.   Marie Miller was crowned the winner.     In upcoming videos that are taking forever to see the light of day...  Ri posted more BTS pics for the masses. NUDE LOVERS: Kanye Takes Kim On A Dinner Date In Paris Posted: 01 Oct 2013 07:16 AM PDT Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were spotted heading out to a sexy Parisian dinner last night.  Check out Kim in her usual nude look and 'Ye in his fave nude shoes and jeans... Kim is flossing her post baby curves all around Paris as she rocks her "Nori" nickname necklace--in homage to her daughter North West--and her nude Alaia sandals everywhere.  Since Kanye has taken over her closet, she is banished to only black, white and nude in her wardrobe.  So she rocked a nude leather skirt with stretchy side panels and a plain white tee.  Actually it's one of the cutest looks we've seen on her since before the baby.     The twosome were spotted leaving Hotel Costes and on their way to dinner. They're in town for Paris fashion week (and possible house hunting since Kanye keeps talking about moving there permanently).   And during the day in Paris, Kim is spending her days similar to her hard working days of hitting the gym and shopping in L.A.  Today, she was spotted hitting L'Usine Gym, then some shopping with her cousin CiCi. Jay Z Reveals In VANITY FAIR What Selling Crack Taught Him, Blue LOVING His Music & How He Nabbed (And Turned Out) Beyonce + The Official Cover Posted: 01 Oct 2013 06:12 AM PDT Jay Z--no dash--is opening up in the November 2013 issue of Vanity Fair about his experience of selling crack back in the day in the BK streets.  Find out the skills he said he learned from it, what made him quit, and why he won't be quitting rap anytime soon.  He also talks how he finally woo'd his wife Beyonce...and later turned her gangster.   Plus, Mr. Carter's official cover and an inside pic... You've seen the sneak peek, now peep the official cover.  The dapper dad/rapper/business man/sports agent is putting his best style on display, with the help of stylist June Ambrose, for the November issue of Vanity Fair magazine. And Jay didn't keep it all frilly for the iconic fashion magazine.  He dished on his well known crack dealing days in Brooklyn.  He says he's never done crack himself.  But it's pretty clear those basic business skills he learned back in the day while struggling economically have carried over into something more legal.  His ROC empire. "I know about budgets. I was a drug dealer.  To be in a drug deal, you need to know what you can spend, what you need to re-up.” He said about the importance of an exit strategy: “If you want to start some sort of barbershop or carwash — those were the businesses back then.  Things you can get in easily to get out of [that] life.” “You have to have an exit strategy, because your window [for dealing drugs] is very small.  You’re going to get locked up or you’re going to die.” As for what got him out that life: “Not until later, when I realized the effects on the community. I started looking at the community on the whole, but in the beginning, no." “I was thinking about surviving. I was thinking about improving my situation. I was thinking about buying clothes.” The proud papa gushed about his baby girl when asked if it was true that Blue Ivy didn't like her mom Beyonce Knowles' music.  He said it's absolutely untrue, and easily talked about everything else Blue: “That’s not true. She does like her mother’s music—she watches [Beyoncé’s concerts] on the computer every night. But my album came out and I don’t know if Blue ever heard any of my music prior to this album—she’s only 18 months old and I don’t play my music around the house. But this album was new, so we played it. And she loves all the songs. She plays a song and she goes, ‘More, Daddy, more . . . Daddy song.’ She’s my biggest fan. If no one bought the Magna Carta [album], the fact that she loves it so much, it gives me the greatest joy. And that’s not like a cliché. I’m really serious. Just to see her—‘Daddy song, more, Daddy.’ She’s genuine, she’s honest, because she doesn’t know it makes me happy. She just wants to hear it.” Such a daddy moment. Speaking of his wife, Jay revealed in the excerpt below how exactly he nabbed the hottest chick in the game over 10 years ago--and how he turned her out: Jay says that when he and Beyoncé were both featured on the cover of Vanity Fair’s 2001 Music Issue “we were just beginning to try to date each other.” Try? “Well, you know, you’ve got to try first. You got to dazzle . . . wine and dine.” He tells [writer] Robinson that “of course” he pursued Beyoncé, and when asked if he hadn’t been Jay Z—say, he had been a gas-station attendant and she pulled up—would he have been able to date her, he responds, “If I’m as cool as I am, yes. But she’s a charming Southern girl, you know, she’s not impressed. . . . But I would have definitely had to be this cool.” Jay confirms that the line on his latest album, “She was a good girl ’til she knew me” is about Beyoncé, and when Robinson asks if she’s not a good girl anymore, Jay laughs, saying, “Nah. She’s gangsta now.” And if you're wondering when the 43-year-old, almost half a billion dollar man will finally quit the rap game....he doesn't even know himself: “I know I said I wouldn’t be doing it when I was 30 so that’s how I know I love it. It's just a party, right?  Well, yeah.  But when you're having very public marital issues with your NBA baller hubby and you conveniently roll to the birthday party for your ex--whom you had a very public breakup with and spoke about how badly you were treated--ish looks a little suss.   Keyshia Cole showed off her new black hair and a bold red lip as she chilled in the VIP section of Velvet Room nightclub Sunday night.  She flew solo without her husband Daniel Gibson.  And Jeezy seemed pretty stoked she came out: Keyshia chilled in the VIP section with Meek Mill, Juelz Santana, French Montana and more:   And another oddity for the night:    Yung Joc and Karlie Redd seemed to be real close all night.  This chick stays hopping from irrelevant rapper to irrelevant rapper. Budding actress and fashionista Vanessa Simmons just made a baby girl.  And she let the world know today.  The older sister of Angela Simmons, JoJo Simmons, Diggy Simmons, Russey Simmons & little Miley Justine is about to be a mommy.  Vanessa IG'd a pic of her sonogram--you know, the universal way to announce your seed is on the way--for everyone to see:   She said, "a little princess on the way".  Aww... And her sister Angela Re-Grammed the pic excitedly saying, "I'm going be an aunty!" As for who the father is, we're going to go out on a limb here and say it's her long time boyfriend, Mike Wayans.  Mike is the son of comedian/actor Damon Wayans.  And the twosome have been a hot couple for years. Hov is Vanity Fair's new cover subject.   In an airport snapshot posted to IG today, stylist June Ambrose (and her fashion bestie Jay Manuel) showed off her latest work where she put Mr. Carter in a white tux for the cover of the fashion mag.  And he's dashing and dash-less. The issue should hit newsstands soon.  And it's just in time for the Magna Carta Holy Grail tour's November kick off. AMBASSADOR DRAKE -- Rapper Named As Toronto Raptors Exec + Rihanna's "Styled To Rock" Moves To Bravo Posted: 30 Sep 2013 12:15 PM PDT Drake just got a new position in the NBA.  It's for the NBA All Star going down in 2016, but it's still an interesting one.  Check out Drizzy & the Toronto Raptors' big announcement inside.  Plus, Rihanna and her new show move to Bravo...   While Drake sat next to Toronto's Mayor Rob Ford today during a press conference, it was announced he's now the newest Toronto Raptors Executive!  The rapper will be working with his hometown NBA team for the 2014-15 season to put their brand on the map by helping to create new merchandise, a new image, and a hot NBA All Star game in 2016. The Toronto Star explained further about what the Nothing Was The Same rapper's role will entail: The hip-hop star will also launch a clothing line in conjunction with the team. Most intriguingly, he is being asked to consult on a complete redesign of the club’s image to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the franchise in the 2014-15 season. According to sources at MLSE, everything about the team is on the table . . . aside from the name. Give up your Huskies dreams. MLSE and Drake are sticking with dinosaurs. Going forward, this will be more than a business arrangement. It would be wrong to call what comes next a renaissance. That would imply that the Raptors have a legacy to build on. After 18 years, all they have is one playoff series win and Vinsanity to draw from. That’s it. It’s within Drake’s power to change that. Sounds like a major boss move that no doubt comes with many coins.  Congrats Drake!   And speaking of celeb Ambassadors, Drake's ex Rihanna--who's also the Travel Ambassador for her home of Barbados--is moving from the Style Netowrk (now Esquire network) to Bravo. DADDY TIME: Amare & Alexis Stoudemire On A POST-SURGERY STROLL With Baby Alijah Posted: 30 Sep 2013 11:04 AM PDT New York Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire was spotted out pushing his daughter Alijah alongside wife Alexis today.  See the candids inside....   Though he's one of the most famous basketball players in the states, Amar'e Stoudemire and his wife Alexis have been pretty good at keeping the most intimate details of their lives out of the press.   You'll recall that the long-time couple and parents of four (Assata, Ar’e, Amar’e Jr. & baby Alijah) were married during a lavish dream wedding in Miami, Fl earlier year.  They managed to keep things under wraps and only revealed the exclusive deets after it was over. And now, we've learned the the baller underwent an unreported, unannounced knee surgery over the summer (his third procedure in the past year!). Though that may sound excessive, a source told Sports Illustrated that the procedure was very routine and not considered major.  So we're sure Knick fans have their fingers crossed for the upcoming season kicking off next month.   For what it's worth, Amar'e and Alexis took Alijah out for a stroll through NYC today and he seemed to be getting around pretty well on his knees. SIDEBAR:  Amar'e is coming into the fourth season of a five-year, $100 mega deal and he's gonna collect those checks whether he suits up or not.
