Heidi Klum & Kids Enjoy The Rides At Disneyland

Earlier today we got to see a few cute photos of daddy Jordan Bratman enjoying a fun pizza date with his son Max Liron. Right now we get to see a couple of cute photos of mommy Heidi Klum enjoying the fun rides at Disneyland last weekend with her children Leni, Johan and Henry.

While the rest of Hollywood spent the weekend getting glam for the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Heidi Klum kept it casual on a trip to Disneyland. A make-up free Heidi, 37, enjoyed a day of family fun with her mother and four children Saturday at the theme park in Anaheim, California. Wearing black leggings, a loose fitting blue top and high heeled black boots, Heidi walked around Disneyland with daughters Lou, 15 months, and Leni, 6, and sons Johan, 4, and Henry, 5. While Heidi loves being a hands-on mother, the trim former supermodel says she does not plan to have any more babies. The Project Runway host, who is married to singer Seal, 47, told the Daily Mail: 'We are done now. I think four to look after is plenty. We aren't like Angelina and Brad. Four is a good number.'

Aww … I love photos like these. Heidi always looks like she’s having as much fun (if not more) as her kiddies. As for more children, well, Heidi is about to launch a new TV show where she is paired up with cute kids on Lifetime TV. It sounds like she’s got her hands full with enough children already.

‘Torchwood: The New World’ Adds New Castmembers

Production on the new Torchwood spin-off series, which we learned last August would be titled Torchwood: The New World, is moving ahead nicely now that new castmembers have been added to the show’s line-up. Writer Jane Espenson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dollhouse) has been posting photos from the Torchwood set on her official Twitter profile giving us a fans a taste of what’s going on as the show films new eps.

Casting continues for Torchwood: The New World, the Starz re-launch of the Doctor Who spinoff. TVLine.com’s Michael Ausiello reveals that Alexa Havins (All My Children) has a lead role on Torchwood, playing Ester Katusi. Ester is a CIA analyst, who works alongside the already-cast Mekhi Phifer, as CIA agent Rex Matheson. Rex and Ester will be teaming with Torchwood veterans Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) and Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles), when the series returns next summer. Also cast in the season premiere of Torchwood is Dichen Lachman, guest starring in a role Ausiello says details are scarce on, except that her character too works for the CIA. Interestingly, Lachman’s Dollhouse costar Enver Gjokaj was up for the role of Rex, before Phifer was ultimately cast. Perhaps new Torchwood writer Jane Espenson (A veteran of Dollhouse, among many other series) is responsible for pointing the producers in the direction of these talented actors?

As I’ve said all along, I am really excited for this new spin-off series. The fact that our beloved Torchwood characters will be relocating to the US to work with a new set of characters sounds brilliant. With writers like Jane Espenson writing the scripts, well, I have no doubt that the show is going to rule hard! When last we saw photos of Jordan Bratman and his adorable son Max Liron they were happily celebrating the little boy’s 3rd birthday with a BIG present. Today we get to see new photos of the father / son duo grabbing some pizza slices in Venice, CA. lookin’ about as cute as can be.


Sooo cute, right? Kids with pizza sauce on their faces are just too adorable. I’m so glad to see little Max having such a fun time with his daddy. These two really seem to have a great time together, don’t they?

First Look: Snarf Of ‘ThunderCats’

Last week we got our first look at the new anime version of ThunderCats … then, a few days later, we got to hear a few deets about the revamped animated series due out later in the year. Today we not only get our first look at the new version of the character Snarf but we also get a first look at some of the new ThunderCats toys that will be available for sale this year.


This new Snarf artwork comes from the box of one of the new ThunderCats toys. Not only will there be action figures based on the characters but there will also be a toy Sword of Omens available for purchase as well as a new version of the Thunder Tank (renamed the Thunder Lynx):


I gotta say, I’m not really loving the action figure of Lion-O … but my inner child (who is still 8 years old) is really loving the toy Sword of Omens (priced at $19.99 and, apparently, available for purchase now). I actually had the original toy Sword of Omens back in my childhood but I played much more with my He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Power Sword. As for the new look of Snarf, well, I think I’m just gonna have to get used to this new manga-look of the ThunderCats. To be honest, Snarf actually looks kinda cute. I guess I’m actually warming up to the idea of a new batch of ThunderCats … are you?

Jaime Pressly Is Officially Charged With Drunk Driving

At the start of January we learned that actress Jaime Pressly had the dubious distinction of becoming the first celebrity arrested in 2011 with drunk driving. Today we learn that Pressly has been officially charged with 2 counts of driving under the influence which, if convicted, means she could get up to 6 months in jail.

Jaime Pressly was just charged with driving under the influence … TMZ has learned. Pressly … who registered a blood alcohol level of .22 — nearly 3 times the legal limit — was charged with two counts of driving under the influence by the Santa Monica City Attorney. If convicted, Pressly faces 6 months in county jail.

Celebrities tend to get off from these sorts of busts but it would be really fantastic if a person convicted of putting other people’s lives at risk by drunk driving actually got punished for their crime. It remains to be seen if Jaime Pressly will actually go to court or if she will plea bargain her way out of actual punishment but I’m pleased to know that she has been charged, at the very least.

Is Mariah Carey Having A Boy & A Girl?

In mid-December, Nick Cannon officially confirmed to the world that he and wife Mariah Carey were pregnant with twins. Today, Life & Style magazine is making the claim that Mimi will be giving birth to a boy and a girl. Now, let’s be real here … whether or not Mariah will have a boy and a girl, two boys or two girls is anyone’s guess … but, let’s entertain for a moment that L&S might be right … and wouldn’t that be so cool?

Life & Style can exclusively confirm that Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon are expecting a boy–and a girl! “It’s all about pink and blue these days,” a friend of the couple tells Life & Style. “It’s truly going to be a dream come true for them. They get a son and daughter.” And Mariah couldn’t be happier. “Even before we announced it was twins, I was trying to keep everything genderneutral because I didn’t want to impose an identity on them too soon,” Mariah tells Life & Style with a laugh. “There were fan contests on Twitter about what gender they are and rumors about them being two boys or two girls — but nobody guessed this!” … They’re set to welcome their bundles of joy in April. “It’s been a long journey–but a happy one,” says mom-to-be Mariah.

IF Mariah and Nick are having a boy and a girl then that would be just too perfect for their growing family. But I’m not quite willing to believe this report just yet. Nick spoke recently to RadarOnline and expressly made clear that the color scheme for the babies’ nursery is mostly green, not pink and blue:

“Last night we went nursery and furniture shopping. They’re going to have a very interesting layout. We picked a lot of colors and one of the main colors is green.”

I mean, again, we really don’t know anything for sure just yet … but wouldn’t it be so nice if Mimi and Nick really did have a boy and a girl?

3 Divas

I ended up spending most of my Monday here at home, mainly taking care of a few things, so I used some of my free time to spin a few records. Back in the late 80s, I was the BIGGEST Paula Abdul fan. At the time, she was my #1 — over Madonna and Janet Jackson. Over time, I’ve really come to appreciate all 3 pop divas so last night I decided to play some of their records.


In her hey day, Paula Abdul was my Britney Spears. When her sophomore album Spellbound was released, I fell crazy in love with it. The album is so funky, so fun … and I played the HELL out of Rush Rush … especially on my band trip down to Disney World (where my marching band played a performance in the Main St. Parade). The cassette single came out weeks before the album did so I played it non-stop the whole drive down from Michigan and back. True Blue may not be my all-time fave Madonna album but it’s deffo one of her funnest. When the album was released, I owned the cassette tape version … but recently was very lucky to find a sealed version of the vinyl. Inside the first pressings of the vinyl version of True Blue, a poster was included … which is just so awesome because new music releases these days don’t have this kind of fun and whimsy. Control is prolly my favorite Janet Jackson album overall. There is no denying that Rhythm Nation 1814 is her masterpiece but Control was the album that really made Janet a star musically. Nasty, What Have You Done For Me Lately, Pleasure Principal and When I Think Of You are not only some of my fave JJ songs but they are among her most iconic. In the late 80s/early 90s, Paula, Madonna and Janet ruled the world. It was nice to revisit their music again ;)

Tonight, David and I will be going to the Troubadour to see Oh Land perform live:


I have quickly fallen in LOVE with Oh Land‘s music and I am really, really excited to see her live tonight. I’ll do my best to snap photos and bring back a full report. Wee!!

‘The Muppets’ Movie Reveals Its Official Logo

Last November we got our first look at the first promo image for the upcoming new film The Muppets. Just a couple of weeks ago, we saw photos of Jason Segel and Amy Adams filming scenes on set of the film. Today we get our first look at what is believed to be the official logo for The Muppets film. Unfortch, we plainly see that Kermit the Frog had to lose his head in order to create the film title logo.

Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Tom Staggs held a special presentation to select groups of voyagers on board the maiden voyage of the Disney Dream, previewing some of Walt Disney Motion Pictures upcoming projects. One of the slides gives us a peek into what might be the logo for the upcoming The Muppets feature film. This also suggests that Disney is keeping The Muppets title and not converting to The Muppets Movie, something which was being internally discussed in the marketing department.

I mean … I don’t know, y’all. The sight of Kermit‘s torso without a head seems … really wrong, don’t it? I’m excited for the film but I am not really feeling this logo too much. Disney has also released a bit of official info about the film in the press release below:

What The HELL Happened To Cyndi Lauper’s Face?!

Whoa! Singer Cyndi Lauper is lookin’ very scary in this new photo taken of her here in LA yesterday, sparking concerns that something may be seriously wrong with her skin. As you can see, it appears that Cyndi is missing the top layer of skin all over her face! Apparently, the photo looks worse than she actually is because Cyndi has revealed that she is only suffering from “a rash” and that she will “be okay”.

After shocking photos surfaced this week of Cyndi Lauper, the pop legend exclusively told RadarOnline.com on Tuesday : "I'm going to be okay." The True Colors singer, 57, was photographed Monday with red blotchy skin around her normally flawless face as she boarded a flight from Los Angeles to New York — sparking fears that she could be ill. But Lauper revealed: "I'm just suffering from a rash. I'm going to be okay, really." It's not known if the skin reaction was caused my too much sun exposure or perhaps even a chemical peel or other skin treatment, but whatever the case, the photos are definitely shocking.

Wow! Poor Cyndi! There is no way that I believe that this is merely a “rash”. If I’ve learned anything from Sex and the City (and I have learned a lot from SaTC) it’s that rashes don’t look like this … chemical peels do:


Ugh … this looks painful, don’t it? I hope Cyndi will be OK and that she will look more like herself soon rather than a burn victim … or a plate of carpaccio. Again, I say, YIKES!

Tom Hardy Loves Batman

A couple of weeks ago, we learned officially that Tom Hardy has been cast to play the villain Bane (alongside Anne Hathaway who has been cast as Selena Kyle/Catwoman) in the upcoming Batman sequel film The Dark Knight Rises. Today we get to see new photos of Tom that show just how much of a Batman fan he truly is.


These photos of Tom Hardy rockin’ this awesome Batman t-shirt were snapped upon his arrival at LAX Airport here in SoCal this week. Despite the fact that Tom is an obvs Batfan, I think he has a wonderful way of filling out this t-shirt nicely … don’t you think? He is adorable … in and out of this Batman tee. No question.

Meet Faith Margaret Kidman-Urban

A couple weeks ago, the day after the Golden Globe Awards, we learned the surprising news that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were the proud parents of a newborn baby girl they had via surrogate mother. Today we get our first look at the darling little girl the couple have named Faith Margaret. On the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, Keith couldn’t resist showing off a cellphone photo of his adorable baby girl Faith.

This is the first peek of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s daughter Faith Margaret. The couple recently announced the birth of the baby, who was born via a surrogate. And last night Urban couldn’t resist showing a picture of his bundle of joy to camera crews at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles. Revealing the picture of mother and daughter on his iPhone, country singer Urban cooed: ‘She [Faith Margaret] looks just like her [Nicole], don't you think?’ Nicole also revealed that her and Urban’s two-year-old daughter Sunday Rose is loving her new sister. ‘[Sunday Rose is] so into [Faith] and she's crazy about her,’ she told Access Hollywood. ‘We really wanted Sunday to have a sibling, so now we've got Sunday and Faith Margaret… we've got our hands full! We're really happy’ … Kidman also spoke out at the SAG awards about why she decided to keep Faith Margaret a secret for so long … Speaking to E! presenter Giuliana Rancic on the red carpet, Nicole said: ‘I wanted to be able to tell everybody because I was so excited about her. ‘[But] we just decided this was our thing together. It kind of just perpetuated itself.’ ‘[And] it protects her and it protects everyone in the situation.’

Awww … she’s a cutie, ain’t she? It’s a shame the picture isn’t more clear but I’m guessing it’s the best we’re gonna get from the proud parents. As you may recall, Nicole and Keith did NOT sell photos of Sunday Rose when she was born back in 2008 to any magazine … instead, they revealed the first photo of their daughter on The Oprah Winfrey Show (even tho the baby had been photographed by the paparazzi many times since her birth). Even still, at least we do get a peek at the couple’s new little darling. Ain’t she a doll?

Ricky Gervais Reveals That The Golden Globes Want Him To Host Again [UPDATE]

Remember the outrageous uproar that ensued in Hollywood the day after comic Ricky Gervais BRILLIANTLY skewered celebrities at the Golden Globe Awards a few weeks ago? Yeah, it would seem that all of that whining and crying was all for naught … because according to Gervais himself, the Hollywood Foreign Press (the folks responsible for hosting the annual Golden Globe Awards) have asked him to host the show again next year.

Comedian Ricky Gervais has been “asked to consider” hosting the Golden Globes for a third year, his spokeswoman has told the BBC. The 49-year-old received mixed reviews for hosting last month’s ceremony after poking fun at various celebrities. “The ratings went up again and the organisers asked me to consider a third year,” Gervais told Heat magazine … Gervais told Heat he would not return as the Globes presenter again but stood by his last performance. “I don’t know what I could do better,” he told the magazine. “I certainly couldn’t get more press for them, that’s for sure.” He said the “staggering” response included being talked about on news channels and chat shows “for weeks”. A spokesperson for Globes organiser the Hollywood Foreign Press Association was not available for comment.

What a bunch of hypocrites! First, the Hollywood Foreign Press goes on the record to decry the fact that Gervais “crossed the line” and then decide, Meh — he brings in good ratings so we want him back. I, personally, would love for Gervais to host the show again because that would mean I would tune in to watch. He was brilliantly funny and THE best part of the show. I don’t blame him, tho, for not wanting to come back. It’s total bullshizz that the HFP would treat him so poorly in the press and then offer him the job again so that they can mistreat him all over again … while they enjoy the high ratings he brings in for the show. What a joke. Ricky Gervais rules, the Hollywood Foreign Press sucks. The end.

UPDATE: Hollywood Foreign Press Association president Phil Berk has issued a staunch denial that he asked Gervais to host the Golden Globe Awards next year:

"There is no truth to this rumor. We have not asked him to come back. Nice try, Ricky."

LOL! More free press for the HFPA. Gimme a break.

Michael Lohan Rushed To The Hospital With Chest Pains

When last we checked in with trainwreck father Michael Lohan, he was bizzy saving the lives of both man and animal during a small apartment fire in the building he lives in here in SoCal. Today we check in with Lohan again but this time, he’s the one in danger. Daddy Lohan went to see the doctor about getting his nose fixed and ended up having to be hospitalized for chest pains. Yikes!

Michael Lohan is being rushed to the hospital after experiencing chest pains … TMZ has learned. We’re told Michael was at a doctor’s office in Newport Beach, CA for a consultation about getting his nose fixed — a nose which has been broken several times over the years. Michael began complaining of chest pains, so the nurse took his blood pressure which alarmed her enough to call 911. We’re told his blood pressure was 200/110. Michael is en route to Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach … We’re told Michael needs emergency surgery on a blocked artery and will stay at the hospital overnight.

Wow!! Chest pains like this are no joke so it’s fortunate that Lohan was in a medical setting when this problem was detected. As terrible as his behavior tends to be, I think we should all keep a good thought and send some healing vibes his way for a speedy recovery. Michael Lohan may drive his family (and the rest of us) absolutely insane but I’m sure none of us would wish him ill will. Let’s hope Lohan gets better soon … so he can live on to torment us for years and years to come ;)

Christina Applegate Gives Birth To A Baby Girl

Congratulations are in order for actress Christina Applegate and her fiancée Martyn LeNoble because they are now the proud parents of a newborn baby girl! Christina gave birth to her daughter — named Sadie Grace — last Thursday here in LA but decided to enjoy the weekend together as a new family before announcing the news.

“Actress Christina Applegate and fiancée, musician Martyn LeNoble, welcomed daughter Sadie Grace LeNoble on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, in Los Angeles,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “Mother and daughter are doing great.” Adds someone close to the proud parents: “She’s a beautiful little girl, and they are so happy and in love with her.”

Christina and Martyn have been dating for about 3 years now and only officially got engaged to be wed last Valentine’s Day. With the arrival of Sadie Grace, tho, I suspect that the couple might be ready to make it official and say their I Dos. Let’s send all of our love and congrats to the newly expanded family today! Woot!!

Charlie Sheen Will ‘Rehab’ At Home

Yesterday we learned the encouraging news that troubled actor Charlie Sheen decided to commit himself to 3 months of rehab treatment. Today we learn that that news isn’t really as encouraging as we may have thought. Sheen was reportedly due to seek rehab treatment from the Promises Rehab Facility in Malibu, CA (a place infamous for not successfully treating famous celebrities) but today we learn that Sheen will, instead, get his 3 months of rehab … at his home.

Charlie Sheen doesn’t have to travel far to get better, because TMZ has learned he’s doing rehab at home. Sources connected with the actor tell us … CBS, Warner Bros. and Charlie put their heads together and found an expert in addiction they think can help Charlie conquer his demons. The expert and other professionals are coming to Charlie’s gated community in L.A., in no small part for privacy reasons. Many rehab facilities can be tricky when it comes to patients and others spilling secrets.

Nah, I don’t believe FOR ONE SECOND that Sheen‘s decision to “rehab” at home has anything at all to do with privacy. Um, the secret’s out … we already know he has a raging substance abuse problem. I tried to be positive about the news that Sheen was getting 3 months of treatment in rehab but this 3 month stint — at his own home — just sounds like a vacation where the public (i.e. the people who watch his hit CBS TV series Two and a Half Men) gets the notion that he is cleaning up his life when, IMHO, he really plans to do no such thing. I could be wrong, I hope I’m wrong … but I doubt I’m wrong. What do y’all think? Will Charlie Sheen really clean up his life by rehabbing at home?
