When Lindsay Lohan got sprung from rehab earlier this month, she made a beeline to the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA to start enjoying her newly reinstated freedom. Over the weekend, Lindsay went back to the Four Seasons and she took all of her pretty, flowy hair with her.


I am LOVING Lindsay‘s hair. I mean, I’m certain most of it is fake but still … she looks good. She’s been staying out of trouble for almost a month now, that’s huge! Sobriety looks very good on her … I hope she keeps it up.

The Spider-Man Reboot Continues To Film In Downtown LA

Another day, another set of photo and video footage from the downtown LA set of the new as-yet-untitled Spider-Man reboot film. Previously, we’ve seen photos of Spidey running in the streets of SoCal … then we saw him flying above the streets of SoCal. Today we get to see him chillin’ in between takes on the streets of SoCal.


HMMM … look at that booty on our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. I guess all that high-flying, web-slinging keeps the gluteus maximus in pique physical condition. But, let you think he was just lazing about, here is video of the stunt Spider-Man filming a pretty cool-lookin’ stunt:


Yeah, I’m guessing this scene will look MUCH more impressive in the final film. Still, it’s pretty cool to see a movie gettin’ made like this … don’tcha think?

Sarah Michelle Gellar Takes Charlotte Grace Out For A WALK

Earlier today we saw photos of new dads Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka taking their twin babies out for a family stroll and right now we get to see photos of former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar taking her little girl out for a walk as well … but in this instance, SMG‘s “baby” girl Charlotte Grace is now grown enough to walk on her own two feet!!


Um, when did baby Charlotte get big enough to be walking on her own? Wasn’t she just born, like, last week? Where DOES the time go? I wonder if SMG is planning to bring Charlotte on set with her when she begins filming her new CBS TV series The Ringer this Fall? I mean, the little girl already looks big enough to take care of herself ;)

The 83rd Annual Academy Awards Release The Second Promo Video Of Hosts Anne Hathaway & James Franco

Last week we got our first look at the first promo video released by The 83rd Annual Academy Awards which features co-hosts Anne Hathaway and James Franco. Today we get to feast our eyes on the second promo video released of the Oscar hosts offering their personal invitation to YOU to watch the show.


Cute … but not as funny as the first video. You know, at first I had my doubts that Anne and James would be able to pull off a successful hosting job … but now, I think they might actually do a good job. If they keep things light and funny, I bet they’ll be just fine. I’m starting to see that they have pretty good chemistry so … I’m going to keep positive about their hosting abilities until I see otherwise. Do y’all think they’ll be able to do a good hosting job … or not?

Justin Bieber Gets Shirtless For A New Magazine Photoshoot

Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber has decided to appear in more mature photoshoots now that he’s just about to turn 17 years old … and that maturity, apparently, involves wearing less clothing than he usually wears in shoots. I’m not sure if y’all are ready for this but … Justin Bieber has gone shirtless, y’all.

It’s a text that many a teenage girl would be thrilled to receive. Whether their parents would approve is another matter. Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber posed for shirtless photos before texting them to his ‘girlfriend’ during a magazine shoot. Although he did not divulge who the ‘girlfriend’ was, it is presumed to be Disney star Selena Gomez, to whom he has become particularly close during the past few months. The Baby singer was pictured looking moody, wearing nothing but a pair of grey trousers and with nothing more than a tie slung around his neck to keep him warm. While at the photo shoot the 16-year-old reportedly asked one of the stylists to take photos of him on his mobile phone which he then texted to his ‘girlfriend’. A source told X17Online: ‘Justin was talking to the stylist, asking her to take sexy pictures of him for his girlfriend’. Bieber apparently asked for the photos to be taken in a playful way. But no doubt anyone who received a shirtless shot of the pint-sized pop star would be over the moon. The source added: ‘He was just being cute about it, joking around, but he definitely wanted to look good for this girl. He never said the name Selena, but we knew who it was’.

Geeze, kids grow up so fast, don’t they? I have to say … the sight of a shirtless Biebs seems … kinda wrong, don’t it? I wonder which magazine these photos will appear in. The photos seem too racy for Teen Beat or Bop and, yet, too young for something like GQ. But, whichever magazine prints these photos, you can be sure that his rabid fans will be clamoring for copies of these pics to tack up onto their bedroom walls … much to their parents chagrin, I’m sure.

‘Scream 4′ Releases A Newer Movie Poster

In April of last year, we got our first look at the first teaser poster for Scream 4. Today, with under 3 months to go until the film gets released in theaters, we get our first look at the latest Scream 4 poster artwork.


Fans of the Scream film franchise will recognize that this new poster follows the trend that posters for the previous film followed. To be honest, I’m not too crazy about this poster artwork, mainly because the 4 doesn’t work as well as it should. Still, I am very excited that we are so near the film’s release. I understand production of Scream 4 has gone back to Northville, Michigan to do some reshoots … which means that they’ll be going down to the wire to get the film out on time. As for this poster, what do y’all think? Do you like it?

Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka Take The Twin Babies For A Stroll

Late last month we got our first look at twin babies Harper Grace and Gideon Scott with their proud fathers Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka in the pages of People magazine. Today we get to see the babies (kinda) enjoying a family stroll with their two dads and a couple of friends. The Burtka-Harris family braved the chilly SoCal rain yesterday to enjoy a family stroll … but the babies, bless their little hearts, were safely tucked out of sight inside their fathers’ shirts and jackets.


So cute, right? Adorable family … dogs included. Oh and if those hangers-on in these photos with Neil and David look familiar that’s because they are my BFFs Emma and Josh. As you may recall, Em and Josh got engaged on New Year’s Eve and they are really good friends with Neil and David. Unfortch for them, tho, they are unfamiliar with posing for the paparazzi:


LOL!! So funny, right? Well, here’s hoping that Emma and Josh get better acquainted with the paparazzi … as actors themselves, they are bound to be rich and famous some day :) As much as I LOVE NPH, David and the twins … I’m really most excited about posting the photos of Emma and Josh. Hahahahaha ;)

Good ‘Grief’

Last night David and I made our way to the Lounge Theater to see a full cast reading of our friend Tim Roscoe’s new play Grief. Altho the play is not yet in the staging phase, last night’s full read-thru was nothing short of amazing.


The story centers around a group of students who are dealing with the aftermath of a death in their friend circle … and all the regrets and secrets that come pouring out in their grief. The play is very well written and, as far as the reading went, very well acted. I am really looking forward to this play moving forward to the next stage of actual performance. Not sure what the plan is for today … I have a couple of things I have to take care of but I’m thinkin’ it’s gonna be a quiet night later on. Ugh, Monday … and already the last day of January. Where in the Hell does the time go?

Last night the Screen Actors Guild Awards were handed out at The Shrine Auditorium here in Los Angeles, CA in the midst of awards season and, as you might expect, the same sort of folks who have been winning awards at previous award shows continued their streak last night. But, while it seemed like The Social Network was the film to beat for Best Picture, it’s becoming a bit more evident that The King’s Speech has taken the front-running position. Even still, films like Black Swan and The Fighter were honored as well.

“The King’s Speech” won the best-actor trophy Sunday for Colin Firth and a second honor for its overall cast at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. The two prizes capped a weeklong surge of Hollywood honors for the British monarchy saga, which is building momentum for the Feb. 27 Academy Awards, where the Facebook drama “The Social Network” previously had looked like the favorite. Natalie Portman earned the best-actress award at the Screen Actors ceremony for “Black Swan,” while “The Fighter” co-stars Christian Bale and Melissa Leo swept the supporting-acting honors, boosting their own prospects come Oscar night. “The King’s Speech” leads Oscar contenders with 12 nominations, among them best picture and actor for Firth, who has been the awards favorite virtually since the film premiered at festivals half a year ago. “Until today, I would say probably, if ever I felt that I had a trophy which has told me that something’s really happening for me, it was my SAG card,” said Firth, who plays Queen Elizabeth’s dad, George VI, as he takes the throne in the 1930s while struggling to overcome a debilitating stammer. “Growing up in England, it’s not something you expect to see in your wallet, really,” Firth continued. “And so it has this glow, and I used to flash it around, hoping it would get me female attention, entry into nightclubs and top-level government departments. It didn’t.” Many winners had gushing words for the protection and fellowship their union offers. “I’ve been working since I was 11 years old, and SAG has taken care of me,” said Portman, who won for her role as a ballerina losing her grip on reality. “They made sure I wasn’t working too long and made sure I got an education while I was working.” Bale is a strong favorite for the supporting-actor Oscar as real-life fighter Dicky Eklund, whose career unraveled amid drugs and crime. Eklund briefly joined Bale on stage, the actor telling him he’s “a real gentleman” … Leo, who plays the domineering matriarch of Eklund and half brother Micky Ward’s boxing family in “The Fighter,” was speechless for a long moment after taking the stage … Betty White, who is having her own career resurgence in her 80s, won for TV comedy actress for “Hot in Cleveland.” “I must say this is the biggest surprise I’ve ever had in this business. There wasn’t a prayer. I am so lucky to be … at 89, to be working …,” White said, pausing as the crowd interrupted her with effusive applause. “You didn’t applaud when I turned 40.” Alec Baldwin won his fifth-straight guild award for best actor in a comedy series for “30 Rock.” “I don’t know what to say. This is ridiculous. I’m so happy,” Baldwin said. “We’ve had a great year with the show.” “Modern Family” won for overall cast performance in a TV comedy. Steve Buscemi of “Boardwalk Empire” and Julianna Margulies of “The Good Wife” won as best actors in a TV drama. “Boardwalk Empire,” a Prohibition-era gangster series, also won for overall TV drama cast performance … “The Social Network,” chronicling the rise of Facebook, had been the early Oscar favorite for best-picture, named the year’s top drama by key critics groups and the Golden Globes. But “The King’s Speech” has surged forward in the past week, pulling upset wins at the Directors Guild and Producers Guild awards and leading the Oscar field at last Tuesday’s nominations. “The Social Network” had two SAG nominations but came away empty-handed.

I have to say, congrats to everyone for winning … but big props to Modern Family for fending off Glee as the Best Ensemble on TV. I thought for sure Glee would have a lock on the top prize so that was a nice surprise. I believe last night’s SAG Awards is the last of the film awards until the big Academy Awards next month. Reese Witherspoon & Fam Get Their Church On

Last week we saw photos of enfianced Reese Witherspoon doing a bit of couture shopping in Paris, France reportedly for a wedding dress. Today we get to see photos of Reese back home here in SoCal with her fiancee Jim Toth and her children Ava Elizabeth & Deacon Reese. Reese got the entire family together for church service yesterday morning.


What a pretty picture they make. I think it’s really lovely that Reese does such a great job of gettin’ her family together to do fun things like this. While it may be rough for the kids to be shuffled back and forth between their mother and father Ryan Phillippe but they both seem to do a pretty great job of keepin’ the kids’ lives as normal as possible. Yay, happy family!!

Zac Efron Is A Fan Of The LA Laker . . . Girls

Zac Efron was in the hiz last night at the Staples Center for the LA Lakers vs. the Boston Celtics game and boy was his attention clearly focused on the basketball court. BUT, Zac wasn’t really paying much attention to the game … he seemed way more interested in the Laker Girls cheerleading squad.


Unfortch for we Los Angelinos, the Lakers fell to the Celtics by a score of 109 – 96 … not that Zac Efron noticed at all. It would appear that Zac is really taking his new bachelor status to heart. Last week we saw photos of Zac lunching with a bevy of beautiful young ladies … last night, he was scopin’ out the chicks at the Lakers game. I say, good for him. He was with Vanessa Hudgens for a long time … it’s about time he started sowin’ his wild oats. Sow away, Zac … sow away.

Hugh Jackman Really, Really, REALLY Loves The Snow

Last week, in the days following the latest snowstorm to hit NYC we saw photos of Hugh Jackman really loving the snow and then really, really loving the snow. Today we get to see new cute photos of Hugh, his daughter Ava Eliot and the family pooch Mochi really, really, REALLY loving the snow together.


Yes, I know these photos of Hugh rolling around in the snow having the TIME OF HIS LIFE are starting to get ridiculous but … I can’t help it. First, we got a hot man who is unafraid of showing his playful side. Then we see him paired with his cute daughter who clearly loves playing in the snow with her daddy. And finally we get the cutest little dog around … and BAM! It’s all too damn cute. As much as I hate the snow, seeing photos like this makes me just want to roll around and play with Hugh! I mean, right?

Watch: The Britney Spears ‘Hold It Against Me’ Parody Music Video

Remember that “fake leaked photo” that we saw last weekend that was supposedly from the set of Britney Spears‘s new music video for Hold It Against Me? Well, it turns out that the photo did come from the set of Hold It Against Me but NOT from Britney Spears‘s version of the video. Ryan James Yezak filmed his own version of HIAM the very same weekend that Britney filmed hers … but unlike Britney‘s, his video has been released.


While we await the release of Britney‘s official music video, Yezak brings us his vision of Hold It Against Me to tide us over:


Chances are great that Britney‘s official music video will be a bit more sophisticated but this video is pretty good for being fanmade, don’t you think? As you may recall, I reported exclusively that Britney Spears will supposedly be shooting paint from her hands in her video for HIAM so I can’t *wait* to see the final product. Still, this parody/tribute video is kinda fun. What do y’all think? Is this video a worthy tribute to the amazingness of Britney‘s new single Hold It Against Me?

Charlie Sheen Commits To 3 Months In Rehab

Earlier today we learned that troubled actor David Arquette checked himself out of rehab after 3 weeks of treatment and right now we learn that the more troubled actor Charlie Sheen has committed himself to 3 months of rehab treatment. As you may recall, Sheen checked himself into rehab on Friday after he was famously hospitalized the morning after a 36-hour drug-fueled porno party at his home. I believe this 3 month stint in rehab will be his most significant voluntary commitment to his rehabilitation.

Charlie Sheen will be in rehab for the next three months, derailing the next eight episodes of “Two and a Half Men” … Sources connected with the show tell TMZ the crew is grumbling … worried they will be the financial casualties of Charlie’s problem. There are 300 people associated with the show, many of whom are nervous about not getting a paycheck. Sources say when production was halted last February while Charlie was in rehab, the crew was “partially compensated.” We’re told the studio hasn’t decided what to do this time around — whether the staff will be fully or partially compensated. A decision is expected soon. That said … everyone we’ve spoken with is supportive of Charlie and knows he needs to get better, which ultimately will be the best job security.

It’s hard not to scoff at any attempt at rehabilitation by Charlie Sheen (particularly because his track record with taking his sobriety seriously has been a joke) but people can change. Three months in rehab seems significant to me, especially if Sheen stays in treatment for the entire time. Let’s just hope that Charlie gets the help he desperately needs. It would be so tragic, yet unsurprising, if Charlie Sheen met an early end due to his dangerous behavior. This 3-month stint in rehab just may be the thing to save his life.

Eva Longoria & Tony Parker Are Officially Divorced

Well that was fast … back in November we learned that married couple Eva Longoria and Tony Parker decided to end their marriage and just a few days later, decided to officially file for divorce in Texas (the State where the couple signed their pre-nuptial agreement before they were wed 3 years ago). Today we learn that the couple’s divorce is officially complete … Eva and Tony are officially dunzo!

Tony Parker’s lawyer slipped into a Texas courthouse Friday with legal papers that officially ended Tony’s marriage to Eva Longoria … TMZ has learned. And we’ve learned … Eva’s lawyer quietly filed papers Friday to dismiss the divorce petition she filed in L.A. County Superior Court. Sources familiar with the case tell TMZ both sides agreed that Texas was the proper place for the divorce because that’s where the prenup was signed. TMZ broke the story about the dueling divorce petitions, but ultimately there was no conflict. We’re told all issues connected with the divorce have been resolved and it was done in a very amicable way.

And that, my friends, is that. While some States require many months up to a year for a divorce to become official, apparently in Texas it only takes a fraction of that time. You may recall that Eva and Tony met up for a little pow-wow over BBQ in San Antonio, TX last month which sparked speculation that the couple may have been reconciling. It now seems pretty clear they were just amicably moving forward with their divorce. And just like that … the couple are no longer married. Sad, isn’t it?

David Arquette Checks Himself Out Of Rehab

At the start of this month, troubled actor David Arquette checked himself in to rehab so that he could better learn how to handle his addictions. Today we learn that Arquette checked himself out of rehab over the weekend, presumably because he is now better equipped to control his messy behavior.

David Arquette checked out of rehab on Sunday, nearly a month after he entered to seek help for “alcohol and other issues.” “He has competed his treatment and has left,” his rep tells PEOPLE. And, adds another source, the actor is “in great spirits. He’s feeling good and he’s ready to move forward.” As for his Beacher’s madhouse, his rep adds: “David is concentrating on his health and well being right now … although David remains fully supportive and a huge fan of Beacher’s Madhouse and the Roosevelt Hotel.”

In all honesty, I had completely forgotten that David Arquette was even in rehab in the wake of Charlie Sheen‘s incredibly mad behavior last week. As soon as I heard the news I thought, Oh yeah … While I’m happy to hear that David Arquette completed this stint in rehab, the proof will be in the pudding. Hopefully he’ll be able to better handle his addictions … and who knows, maybe he’ll eventually be able to fix his relationship with wife Courteney Cox? Let’s keep a good thought for him and wish him the best of luck … he’s gonna need it.
