Thirty-four years ago today, the world lost a musical icon. Hoping to swing a few Elvis fans her way in the Presidential election, Michele Bachmann started her speech in Spartansburg, South Carolina with a special tribute to the King. She wished him a Happy Birthday! Slow clap? No? Maybe? Uh! Did you hear that? Sounded like a thud coming from Graceland! Oh, yep, Elvis just rolled over in his grave. Good job, Bachmann! |

| Mel And Oksana Feuding Over Lucia's Schooling! Posted: 16 Aug 2011 12:20 PM PDT Here we go again! Mel Gibson and his estranged ex, Oksana Grigorieva, are reportedly back in court, this time due to a disagreement over where to enroll their daughter together, Lucia, in school! Apparently, Grigorieva wants to put the 22-month old in a private school in the valley, but because Gibson is based in Malibu, doesn't feel like driving that far out of the way when he has custody, and is instead looking for somewhere equal distance from both their homes. Frankly, we think he's lucky that he has custody at all, given what he's proven to be capable of, so he shouldn't be pushing his luck! Seriously - can't these two just compromise? You'd think that they'd be exhausted with all of this nonsense by now! Get your heads out of your asses and actually think about what would be best for your CHILD, people! [Image via WENN.] |

Stacy Keibler has been the latest rumored sexpot in George Clooney's bed, but everyone thought it was just a fling. | Eric Dane's Out Of Rehab & Back To Work Posted: 16 Aug 2011 11:50 AM PDT As a dad, a job we know he takes very seriously! Yesterday, Eric Dane was spotted with his daughter, Billie Baby, enjoying a lovely afternoon at Coldwater Park in Beverly Hills. Earlier last month, Eric checked himself into rehab for a pain killers addiction, but you wouldn't guess it from the smile on his face and the bounce in his step as he spends some quality time with his little lady. We're so pleased you got the help that you needed, McSteamy, AND that you faced your demons and overcame them. That little princess there probably missed her daddy terribly. | Good News Meg Ryan! John Mellencamp Officially Divorced From Ex-Wife Posted: 16 Aug 2011 11:40 AM PDT We're not 100% sure what the status is on John Mellencamp and Meg Ryan's engagement, but whenever they're ready to tie the knot they can do so, because John is now a free man! John and his ex Elaine Irwin filed for divorce back in January, but his freedom just became official on Friday. The ex-couple plan to share joint legal custody of their boys, but Elaine will take primary physical custody. John has agreed to pay child support and schooling, and he plans to stay in Indiana so he can help raise his children with his ex-wife. Should be inneresting to see how long it takes before John and Meg get hitched! We HAD heard that they were going to tie the knot in July, but obviously that never happened. Future wedding speculation aside, we're just glad that it sounds like John and his ex have the best interest of their children in mind. That's what's most important! [Image via WENN.] |
| Sugarland Wasn't On Stage During Collapse Thanks To Tour Manager Posted: 16 Aug 2011 11:30 AM PDT We still can't get over this. We were deeply saddened when we learned that a stage collapsed (above) on Saturday night at the Indiana State Fair, killing and injuring crowdmembers who were in attendance to see Sugarland perform. Now, we're hearing that the main reason the band wasn't on stage at the time of the disaster was thanks to tour manager Hellen Rollens who held them backstage due to the weather. Here's what band manager Gail Gellman had to say about it:
We're just glad they weren't on stage at the time of the collapse. We wish everyone who was injured a speedy and full recovery, and our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the loved ones of those were lost during this tragic event. |
| Sneak Peek Of The Finale Of The Glee Project Posted: 16 Aug 2011 11:20 AM PDT You know what? We are just starting to comprehend how many new characters are going to be on Glee this season. Mercedes new boyfriend, the Danielle Staub wannabe and then whoever wins The Glee Project. That's a lot of new cast members to juggle along with giving our beloved Gleeks a proper send-off. Tread lightly, Ryan Murphy. Don't go to crazy now. Anyway, on Sunday, we'll finally learn which Gleeful hopeful won the seven episode arc in the new season. Will it be brassy Alex, suave Samuel, adorable Damien or diva Lindsay??? Only time will tell, but here's a sneak peek of the episode (above) to get you pumped for it! |

Yesterday, Madonna was spotted with her BF Brahim Zaibat and her children Mercy, David, and Lourdes at JFK airport (above, and below). Madge and co. were headed overseas for a family celebration in honor of her 53rd birthday! Between this trip and her weekend in the Hamptons, it sounds like she's having a wonderful bday! Enjoy!!!
