Venus & Serena Williams are rocking the new cover of Hamptons magazine. And they partied it up in NYC to celebrate it. Their full mag cover plus the sisters' party looks, inside... The Williams sisters rocked all white looks for their pretty black and white cover of the magazine. And they rolled to RdV in NYC to celebrate it last night:
Serena rocked a skin tight black catsuit with sheer panels. While Venus did a purple multicolored short dress. The girls chatted about their memories of the U.S. Open. Serena said: "I remember Pete Sampras playing in 1990; I was watching on television, and I remember that was the first year he won a Grand Slam. He was really young, and they were talking about how good he was going to be. He was wearing such short shorts; they were almost like a bikini. [Laughs] I definitely thought Pete was very handsome, but around 1996 I thought he was really hot—but I also think everybody is hot, so I don’t know if that is saying much." Ha!
Venus also revealed her fashion plans for the Open. She says: 'The US Open this year is all about the little black dress, and I always put zippers in my dresses, so there will be a zipper down the back. Because I don’t ever wear black in the daytime, it will be opposing colors. Last year there were three different styles; this year it will be simple because it is just one, but in different colors.'

Cheers to freakin' weekend. Rihanna's kicking off this Hurricane Irene-filled weekend with her brand new video for "Cheers (Drink To That)." A song we shocked ourselves by actually loving. And we've got the Bajan chick back in her home country cuttin' up and having fun in the vid under the cut... In the clip shot a few weeks ago while Ambassador of Tourism Rihanna vacayed back home in Barbados, you get to see the on stage and off stage antics of Rih and her besties during her LOUD tour. There's clips of her Barbados tour date and after party, the parade she was in, clips of her partying and performing with Kanye, Jay-Z, and Cee-Lo during earlier dates, and the beach fun and drinks her crew has been having. Plus a skateboarding-in-the-pool cameo of singer Avril Lavigne as she's actually one of the writers on this song. It's nothing but a party around these parts for the vid. Not even mad at that. Don't let the bastards get you down...Turn it around with another round....There's a party at the bar....Everybody put your glasses on...I'll drink to that... |
| OH HELLS NO: Sheryl Underwood & Kris Jenner IN - Leah Remini & Holly Robinson OUT At CBS' "The Talk" Posted: 25 Aug 2011 05:04 PM PDT  Comedienne Sheryl Underwood just landed her most high profile gig yet as she's been selected to co-host "The Talk" when it returns to tv on Sept 6. Get the deets on the new gig inside and find out what reality show MOMager......
There are big changes in store for the CBS chat fest "The Talk" which recently fired industry vets Leah Remini and Holly Robinson (though the politically correct thing to say is their contracts were not renewed). The show is making room for reality tv mom Kris Jenner and comedienne and Steve Harvey radio show regular who also has "The Sheryl Underwood Show" on Sirius, Sheryl Underwood. Not feelin' this ish. Now publicity hungry Kris has another hour long platform to simply (and only) push her and her daughter's products and shows. Let's keep it real--that's all Kris is looking for. Kris is being brought on to fill in for Sharon Osbourne who is taking time of to be with her husband Ozzy (and possibly also being looked at to fill Leah's role) for 2 weeks, while Sheryl is coming on as a "fill-in" with the option to become a permanent co-host. While the search is still on for permanent hosts, Sheryl and Kris will join Julie Chen and Sara Gilbert on Sept. 6 for the debut of season 2. SMH.....not happy about this at all! Holly brought a certain level of style and class a YBF Hollywood chick should to the panel. But, once again, the powers that be seem threatened by a beautiful black woman who actually cares about her appearance, is not there simply to entertain the crowd and have them laugh with/at her, and has decades of experience and talent in this game. I guess we should say hooray simply because a black woman is on tv even if I was never a fan of her talents. But I can't hold my tongue completely since I'm feeling some kind of way about this. Another interesting point is that "The Talk," unlike "The View," makes their main focus (and differentiating quality) on families--with the co-hosts themselves making their marriage and kids a focal point of the show. Anyone else find it interesting the ONE person on the panel that will be unmarried with no kids is the black republican female Sheryl who praises Bush and downs President Obama quite often? Holly is almost the exact opposite--married for almost 2 decades and has 5 kids and praises President Obama? Y'all know I'm a big proponent of not only black women BEING on tv, but how black women are portrayed on national tv. And the message it sends to the world. And I, for one, am getting tired of the transparent motives. Just sayin'.... *sidenote* I do appreciate that Sheryl is a military vet and the President of a NPHC organization and also involved in politics. I have a degree in Political Science so I can appreciate the debate from both sides of the aisle and people's views from both. What I DON'T appreciate is someone taking a certain view simply for attention and using it as a part of their comedic image. Especially when others do not take their opinions seriously because the person can barely articulate their own views without using comedy. I do not agree with THAT being the voice of black women on daytime tv. I'm still feeling like there's an ulterior motive at play.... |

The third video from Beyoncé's 4 album is here. If you missed the premiere on E! tonight, we've got you covered. Check it under the cut...
"1+1" is not an official single," her label Columbia stated today, "but it's the first song on the album and it's the first of many videos which will be released to visually tell the story of 4." Bey put on her director hat for the vid, along with Laurent Briet and Ed Burke. And she's called this track, which was written by The Dream, her favorite song on the album. The video is a simplistic but artistic one one showing mainly her face doused in water and tears. And she gets intimately sexy in a leopard bra and thigh highs and one pieces while seductively dancing with a random buff guy. Not gonna lie. While the video was visually stunning--I expected more "real" Beyonce with a personal storyline for this song. And less of an "extended Heat perfume commercial" vibe. I needed something more. But it's beautiful nonetheless. Beyoncé is also hitting your tv screens again on Sunday at 9pm ET performing (another one of her songs) on the 2011 MTV VMAS, live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. |

During a recent concert in Newark, NJ, rapper Foxy Brown revealed that a few years ago, she and Mary J. Blige recorded 5 tracks for a duet album that was to be called Best Of Both Girls. So what happened?
Hmm....I would love for someone to release those five records. Interesting I'm sure... Also, Mary has released another track off her upcoming album (due In October) My Life II: The Journey Continues. The song was produced by Eric Hudson and will appear on the album along with songs produced by Pharrell, Rico Love, Swizz Beatz, and Jermaine Dupri:

Bey is dropping the brand new video for "1+1" tonight. The visuals, directed by Beyoncé herself, Laurent Briet, and Ed Burke, tell a love story in line with the rest of her 4 album. The press release states:

Tonight, BET is airing a special 10 year anniversary special in honor of the R&B princess we all love and miss. We've got a sneak peek sent over by the network of a throwback video showing a young and fresh-faced Aaliyah appearing on BET's Planet Groove to promote her (then) new album--One In A Million.
Peep the snippets inside.... These 1996 clips, of Aaliyah having a cheerful sit-down with then-host Rachel Stuart about her album One In A Million that was just coming out, will in some way be incorporated into tonight's special. In them, Aaliyah dished on the correct pronunciation of her name, the love she had for her new album, the hotness of working with Timbaland and Missy on more than half of it, how she loved spending hr Thanksgiving holiday, and a live performance of "The One I Gave My Heart To." While popping bottles at the San Fruttuoso Bay over in Portofino, Italy, Rihanna received word that she's making headlines in the States for a reported sex tape that Hustler Magazine has of her and J. Cole. She tweeted earlier: "We don't believe U, U need more people...AND ofcourse an actual sextape! #slownewsday."
And J. Cole had this to say about the scandal, tweeting: "Gossip Gossip, nigga just stop it."
She hit the waters to relax and let off some steam.

It's no secret Shaquille O'Neal did some major ho'ing while he was married to his nw ex-wife Shaunie O'Neal. But the email and text message tea just keeps on spilling.
Newly leaked email messages reveal that Shaq used a female journalist as a gopher to get celeb chicks to date--while he was married. And some new nasty text messages between him and mistress Dominica Wrestling just got leaked too. Deets inside... Just when we thought all the B.S. with the umpteen mistresses of Shaq were done--more texts leaked. Shaq revealed his 12 year old boy Myspace poetry in texts he sent to Swedish "model" Dominica Wrestling--a chick he was getting it in with while he was still married to Shaunie. Miami News reveals these eye-brow raising texts asking her where he could "cum":
Was that supposed to turn a bish on? Damn. No effort Shaq. At all. Oh, but there's more. Newsweek writer and author Allison Samuels allegedly tried to hook Shaq up with some of her celeb friends--while he was still married a well. Ms. Samuels offered up contact info for model Sesilee Lopez, Rihanna, Lauren London (who Shaq outs D-Wade about when he was still married to Siohvaughn and dating Gabby Union by saying HE'S hooking up with her...HMMMM...), and others. He got a second tattoo of the number "333" which he says is a number given directly to him by God. Hmm....I guess I know which Pick 3 numbers I'll be playing....
