Lil Wayne & his skinny leopard pants hosted his Tha Carter IV album release party after the VMAs.  He missed the red carpet, likely becaue his pants were falling to his ankles and cutting off circulation so he couldn't run, but his friends surely made it. 

 

We've got pics from Weezy's bash, the House of Hype VMA afterparty, and the Rising Icon dinner with Big Sean and his celeb friends, when you read on....

Christina Milian looked pretty in leopard for Weezy's album release party last night.  She rocked her red lip, red shoes and red clutch to accent her look.

Drizzy was there to support his YM homie.

So was Onicka of course.  Glad she changed clothes.  Even though I feel like it's still something from the Limited Too sale rack.

Sigh.  We're still rocking shades indoors at parties Keri Hilson?

Cute dress but just not understanding what she's trying to accomplish these days.

Flo Rida was there--and had a "milky" date with him all night by the way.

Melody Thornton rocked all white.  Just want to know what is on her head...

And actress Elise Neal was there too.

 

And over at the Rising Icons dinner, rapper Big Sean was honored for his single "My Last" making tons of sales and airplay:

DJ M.O.S. hit the turntables.

Busta and Kat Deluna partied it up.

Polow Da Don and this damn beard.  Shave.that.ish.  He kicked it with Rob Kardashian and DJ Whoo Kid.

Stephen Hill looked extra excited to kick it with Busta and Wonder.  That ash on that hand is something serious Jerry "Wonder" Duplessis.

Estelle was there to help Sean celebrate.

Awww how sweet.  Mama Sean was there to party too.

Kanye stopped by to ceebrate with his G.O.O.D. artist Sean and Sean's mom.

VIDEO FAB: Nicki Minaj & Rihanna "Fly"

Nicki Minaj just released her brand new video for "Fly" featuring her fave Barb Rihanna.  Check the sci-fi action flick inspired vid inside...

"Fly," which I actually love for its positive message, was produced by J.R. Rotem and co-produced by Kevin Hissink.  And the video, which was shot back in January, was directed by Sanaa Hamri.  Nicki said about the concept of the vid:

“We’re going to save the world in more ways than one with the video and that’s all I can say about that...The video is done. The ‘Fly’ video is a freakin’ movie! Movie! Movie! Cinematic popcorn."

The "Super Bass" rapper commented that the song was inspired by the emotion of soaring above and overcoming all stereotypes and negativity.  In an interview during her Pink Friday promotion she said:

"FLY is one of my absolute faves. I wanted to work with Rihanna for a long time. I'm very proud of her accomplishments ; especially since she was born on an island like me. This song is a female empowerment song. But then again, its not specific to just women. It speaks about flying, soaring high in the face of every single solitary adversity that comes your way. I speak about how the media has attempted to box me in and how that has made me feel suffocated. After years of being dragged thru the mud, I've mustered up the courage to re-define myself. I believe that I represent an entire generation. My fans have become my family ; and together we have become a movement. Get ready for it. We came to win."

The track, which would be her eighth overall single from Pink Friday, was originally set for a September 11 release, but has been played everywhere already.

Beyoncé's Pregnancy Delays "A Star Is Born" Filming

Her love is indeed on top...and in her belly...and that's Beyoncé's priority. So due to her newly revealed pregnancy, her lead role in A Star Is Born is reportedly about to be put on hold until after she drops the new Baby Carter.

Deadline Hollywood reports Warner Brothers wanted to begin filming Clint Eastwood's new remake of A Star Is Born February 2012.  Beyonce would either be in her last days of pregnancy or had just given birth around that time.  So the studio is likely pushing back the production date.  Plus, they still need to find a leading man.

I’ve learned that Warner Bros was hoping to start production on Clint Eastwood’s musical remake of A Star Is Born as early as February 2012. But now insiders tell me it “could push” because Beyoncé announced her pregnancy tonight at MTV’s VMAs. That will give the studio more time to settle on a male co-star for the singer/actress since Eastwood’s first choice, Leonardo DiCaprio, isn’t doing the pic.

Leading men being considered: Will Smith & Christian Bale.

The movie has been in pre-production for years and the mom-to-be seems to be the leading woman they're intent on keeping no matter what.  At least they didn't drop her like the studio dropped Hilary Duff from the Bonnie & Clyde remake once she announced her pregnancy.

Congrats again to Beyoncé for all the BIG THINGS in the works!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE KING! Celebrating 53 Years Of Michael Jackson

Today would have been the 53rd birthday of Michael Jackson, the musical icon who famously traded his childhood so that we could enjoy the gift of his music. Celebrate his life in the gallery inside....

 

Although fans, critics and tabloids have called him many things over the years, the name that Elizabeth Taylor gave him "The King Of Pop" seems to be the one with the most staying power.

With many people able to recount stories of growing up with Michael, and charting the milestones in their lives with his music, it is without a doubt that MJ is one of the most influential muscians of all-time. 

Like Mozart or Beethoven, his musical contributions will stand the test of time and continue to make generation of moonwalkers and silver-gloved fans dance.

But there's also the side of Michael that we rarely saw.  Michael was a doting father and spent a lot of time and money giving to charitable causes.  And we rarely got to see into his private side.

Last night, Nicki Minaj took home a moon man trophy for "Best Hip Hop" video and brought a surprise guest on stage. Watch her acceptance speech inside and see performances by Lil' Wayne, Bruno Mars' Amy Winehouse tribute  and Pitbull featuring Ne-Yo.

Lil' Wayne was among the major attractions at last night's 2011 MTV VMAs. 

He rocked the stage with a full band. And these small ass leopard leggings.  *sad face*

Last night when Nicki Minaj accepted her trophy for best hip hop video, besides the crazy outfit, another thing that stood out was that she brought rumored boyfriend aka the guy who might have assaulted her, Sarafee Samuels, on stage.

MTV VMA BLACK CARPET Arrivals!

Oh what a night!  Beyonce overshadowed anything tonight's MTV VMAs could have been by revealing her new baby bump on the red carpet.  And dropping the mic, opening her blazer, and rubbing her belly during her performance.  But while The Carters were jumping for joy around the Marriott & Nokia Theater about their baby news, celebs were having the best night ever making their grand arrivals.

Mom-to-Be Beyonce showed off her baby belly in this gorgeous flowing red-orange Lanvin Fall 2011 crepe one-shoulder gown on tonight's VMA black carpet.  She rocked dangling diamond earrings and green emeralds to complete the look.  And she looked amazing:

Nicki Minaj also stopped to say wassup to Bey on the carpet.

Speaking of Nicki:

WTF?

Wiz & Amber Rose made out on the carpet...you know, their usual.

At least she's fully covered in breathable materials this time.

Kelly Rowland donned this black and gold fringed Fall 2011 Falguni & Shane Peacock dress for the occasion Sunday night.

And showed off her killer legs in her Louboutin Lady Peep spiked pumps.

Zoe Saldana also rocked black and gold with this Fall 2011 Barbara Bui tweed tunic.  The tunic was actually rocked as a top on the runway, but Zoe showed off her gams by rocking it as a dress.

She topped off her look with Barbara Bui snakeskin heels.

Ne-Yo got golden in his shimmery sweater and jeans.

Busta kicked it upon arrival.

DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, and Ace Hood hit the carpet.

Shaun Robinson stepped her color game up out her all-white field of usuals.  She got colorful in this cute mini and mirrored sandals.

Kevin Hart did some small skits in between breaks for the awards.  Dude is hilarious.

Proud Dad-To-Be Jay-Z (Beyonce announced it on the red carpet) hit the stage with his Throne sharer Kanye West for the MTV VMAs earlier tonight.  We've got the video--and ANOTHER stage crasher--when you read on....

 

It's was a Throne type of night as the duo hit the stage to perform their big hit "Otis".

During their performance, a fan crashed the stage around the 1:40 mark.  But they kept the party goin' anyway.  Check it:

She's glowing!  Beyonce Knowles showed off her new "love" tonight on the VMA stage--her and hubby Jay's first baby!  We've got pics and video not letting a baby bump stop her from rocking the stage tonight...in heels.  Check it...

Beyonce rocked a black and white pantsuit with a Dolce & Gabbana purple and black sequins blazer over it to semi-conceal her new addition.  And as soon as she took the stage she told the crowd, "I want you to feel the love that's growing inside of me."

And at the end of the performance, she opened up her jacket to reveal her maternity pants over her baby bump.  Jay looked like the proudest.papa.ever.  Check the vid:

Chris Brown just had everybody in a trance with his MTV VMAs performance tonight.  He hit the stage at the Nokia Theater to do a hot performance to his own songs, Wu-Tang, and Nirvana.  Yeah...and it worked.

Chris hit the stage to perform to "Yeah 3X/ Protect Ya Neck/ Teen Spirit/ Beautiful People."  And he flew through it (literally) with crazy talent.  Check it.

Nicki Minaj showed up at the 2011 MTV VMAs in an outfit that pushes every fashion boundary ever spoken. If you could call it fashion.  Come inside and decide if we love it?

Ncki Minaj walked the 2011 MTV VMA red carpet in an outfit I'm not sure even she could accurately describe.  I know I see something new every time I look at it.  There are cartoon characters, mirrors, stuffed animals, ice cream, and I think I see balloons...

Clearly, Nicki seems to be making a mockery of herself and using her outfit to make a statement. But umm......what the hell is she saying?

That's definitely a baby bump on Beyonce Knowles!  We're still in such disbelief we're wondering if this is all part of a bigger act.  No act here--this is the real deal.  But Mrs. Knowles Carter hit the black carpet of tonight's MTV VMAs in this flowing long red dress.  And apparently, confirmed to MTV and the paparazzi that she's about to drop Baby Knowles Carter.

MTV tweeted the first pic of 29-year-old Beyonce' tonight from their black carpet. She was holding her belly which is undeniably a large baby bump.  And, despite the fact Bey only posed for a few media outlets then rushed inside, she apparently announced to them SHE'S PREGNANT.  A member of the paparazzi also tweeted that Bey confirmed it to them as well.


 

Announcing her pregnancy at an Awards Show isn't what we expected. But she did say she would never get pregnant and use it for publicity--so going the nonchalant announcement way is fitting (and typical) for their relationship.  I guess we just didn't notice a bump during her 4 nights of "4" concerts a couple weeks ago when she was wearing a short and tight gold mini--made by Mama Tina.  That slit at the top of her tummy was some major eye trickery....

Well I'll be....  This is the first child for Beyonce & Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter. 

Bey is set to perform tonight.  We'll see what happens...

Sidenote: We asked ourselves the other day why that "1+1" video seemed like mainly only face shots and only a couple blurred out lingerie full body shots.  She shot the vids just a few weeks ago.  Hmmm....

Fantasia Leaves Bedrest To Show Off Her Baby Belly & New Hair

It looks like pregnant Fantasia left her doctored-ordered bed-rest to get her hair done recently.  This pic hit the net of Fanny rocking a cute dress while at the home.  Check it under the cut....

She's likely in her last trimester by now.  So Fanny took some time to make herself feel good and got her hair done.  She went for a longer hair look and is looking pretty happy these days.  Hopefully Antwaun's treating her right....
