Sofia Vergara Enters The Hunger Games

Posted: 08 Apr 2012 01:00 PM PDT

As a reporter in a parody on Saturday Night Live, at least.

Sofia Vergara joined SNL cast members Bill Hader and Fred Armisen in their coverage of the 74th annual Hunger Games, or as the Modern Family actress preferered to call it, "The Funger Games because everyone is having so much fun."

Check out the video above to see what happens when the outside world interferes with tributes trying to eliminate their competition in The Hunger Games.

The Kardashians Go To Church On Easter Sunday

Posted: 08 Apr 2012 12:20 PM PDT

Jesus! That's a lot of Kardashians. Ha!

The whole gang, with the exception of Khloe and Rob, went to church this morning in El Lay to celebrate Easter Sunday as one big happy family.

Kim looked stunning as usual in a short skirt and a bright yellow top, while Kourtney's spring dress hid her growing baby bump.

Bruce, on the other hand, could have used some pointers from his fashionable wife, Kris. Tuck that shirt in, buddy! LOLz!

It's nice to see that regardless of their infinitely busy schedules, the Kardashians will always find time for family.

Happy Easter, guys!

Watch Sofia Vergara's Opening Monologue On Saturday Night Live

Posted: 08 Apr 2012 12:00 PM PDT

Sofia Vergara hosted Saturday Night Live this weekend and she killed it from start to finish!

Check out her cleavage opening monologue (above), in which she talks about her journey from Colombia to the very stage she's speaking on and recalls:

"I always heard that immigrants had a really hard life when they came to America, but when I showed up here everyone was so nice. The men bought me drinks and offered me a place to sleep. This country welcomed me with open arms and pulled down pants."

LOLz! Love it!

Do U think Mz. Vergara was a good host?

The Hunger Games Stays On Top Of Box Office For A Third Week In A Row!

Posted: 08 Apr 2012 11:20 AM PDT

The Hunger Games has had a good PHENOMENAL run at the box office since it's release and this weekend was no exception.

Even with American Reunion and Titanic 3D sailing into theaters as competition, the adaptation of Suzanne Collins' best-selling novel STILL managed to win weekend with an estimated $33.5 million gross, while the comedy sequel raked in $21.5 million and Titanic sunk $17.4 million.

On top of winning the box office, the blockbuster continued to break MORE records this weekend since it grossed $302.8 million domestically and became second-fastest nonsequel to reach the $300 million mark.

Wow! Will this movie EVER stop making money? Ha!

Did U get some target practice with Katniss, never let go with Leonardo DiCaprio, or hang with Stifler and the gang this weekend?

CBS News Correspondent Mike Wallace Passes Away At 93

Posted: 08 Apr 2012 10:40 AM PDT

Aw. This is sad, but nobody can say this guy didn't live a good life!

60 Minutes correspondent Mike Wallace passed away on Saturday night at 93-years-old. The newsman was the first staff member on the CBS show when it began in 1968 and earned 21 Emmy awards before retiring in 2006.

His merciless reporting became part of major Hollywood productions like The Insider, in which Russell Crowe played tobacco industry whistle-blower Jeffrey Wigandwhere, who was interviewed by Wallace on 60 Minutes in 1995. The reporter was also a character in the stage production of Frost/Nixon.

He is survived by an outstanding legacy in journalism -- including five Peabody awards -- as well as a wife, a son, and two stepchildren.

Rest in peace, Mike!

Anne Hathaway Has A New Hairdo!

Posted: 08 Apr 2012 10:20 AM PDT

Anne Hathaway debuted her new and drastically different hairdo on Saturday night!

The Dark Knight Rises actress was spotted leaving a club in London with friends and her fiancé Adam Shulman, while trying to hide from the cameras. We hope she wasn't embarrassed by her short hair because we think she looks absolutely adorable!

She had to cut her long locks for a role as a struggling factory worker forced into prostitution in a new Les Miserables movie adaptation.

By the looks of it, Anne isn't too comfortable in the public eye with her new hair style, but we hope those bashful feelings don't last too long.

Own your new look, gurl! We love it!

Gay Mormon Students At Brigham Young University Want U To Know…IT GETS BETTER!

Posted: 08 Apr 2012 09:40 AM PDT

Since it's Easter Sunday and all, we figured we'd help spread an inspiring message of peace, love, and hope from out and proud Mormon students at Brigham Young University.

Understanding Same-Gender Attraction, an unofficial group of the conservative school, wants U to know that IT GETS BETTER!

It is no secret that homosexuality conflicts with some beliefs taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints, but these students want the world to know that it's okay to practice your faith, while embracing your sexuality!

If God created all life, then God created gay people. Religious members of the LGBT community struggle with their faith and sexuality every day, but these students can promise it's okay to be true to both.

Gay or straight, believer or atheist, we'd like to ask all of our readers to watch the video above this Easter and spread the message that IT GETS BETTER!

2gether Is Reuniting This May!

Posted: 08 Apr 2012 09:20 AM PDT

Can. Not. WAIT!!!

2gether is together again and have reportedly scheduled their first live performance on May 4th at the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club in El Lay.

The band's bad boy Alex Solowitz explained to sources that they will be singing a three or four song set, which will be followed by a Q & A podcast.

The best news? This is only a warm up for their full fledged reunion tour and mockumentary!

So excited to hear these guys belt out some of their classics and maybe some new material too! How about U???

Jack White 'Really, Really' Misses The White Stripes

Posted: 08 Apr 2012 08:40 AM PDT

Jack White has made it clear that The White Stripes are donzo, but he wants everyone to know that it's not his fault!

In a recent New York Times Magazine profile, the singer revealed that it was actually his ex-wife and drummer, Meg White, that wanted to end the band for good, explaining:

"Some people can live their whole lives in limbo. I'd rather cut the lifeline so we can move on with our lives. There came a point where I said, 'If we're not doing this, we need to put an end to it right now.' And that's what she wanted to do."

The rock band officially ended their musical union with an announcement in February 2011 and, as it turns out, he may miss it more than his fans! If he could, Jack would pick up a guitar and record a White Stripes song "right now," saying:

"I'd make a White Stripes record right now. I'd be in the White Stripes for the rest of my life. That band is the most challenging, important, fulfilling thing ever to happen to me. I wish it was still here. It's something I really, really miss."

He hasn't given up on music, however. Listeners can hear Jack shred on his first solo album Blunderbuss, which will be available on April 24.

Do U miss the White Stripes as much as Jack does?

X-Files Finale?? The Truth Is Finally HERE!!

Posted: 08 Apr 2012 08:20 AM PDT

X-Files writer Frank Spotnitz is all about writing a conclusive feature film for the alien-based mystery franchise, and for the first time, Skully and Moulder agree on this one!

Spotnitz says:

"There is a very active and relentless fan campaign for a last movie. I do feel like it would be a terrible shame if that didn't happen. It feels wrong not to give it an ending around the alien colonisation of earth. David [Duchovny] and Gillian [Anderson] feel the same. I have a clear idea of how it would go and I've been talking to Chris Carter about it for a long time. I'll keep banging the drum whenever I meet the Fox guys [the studio holds the sequel rights but was disappointed by the original's lackluster box office]."

Yay!!

We are sick of wondering what that elusive "truth" is... WHERE is it?? OUT THERE is NOT a real place, OK???

If you were born in the 90's thus maybe never watched X-Files, it's EFFING AWESOME and every episode is available online...

So you should probably get on that.
