John Legend REPLACES Lionel! Jumps On Board ABC's Duets!

Posted: 30 Apr 2012 01:20 PM PDT

Lionel Richie out, John Legend in!

Sounds like John will now be replacing Lionel on the upcoming ABC musical competition, Duets!

Back in March, Lionel announced he'd no longer be taking part in the show because of scheduling issues in promotion of his new album, Tuskegee.

In his place, John will star in the series alongside Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Nettles and Robin Thicke, as they each scour America for the perfect duet partner!

Legend says:

"I'm thrilled to be part of Duets, and I'm looking forward to finding an undiscovered gem out there. This is going be a lot of fun."

Though we were looking forward to seeing Lionel, we think John's a pretty good fit for the show, as well!

Tune into Duets when it premieres on May 24 at 8pm!

Teri Hatcher Isn’t Desperate For A Job Anymore

Posted: 30 Apr 2012 12:50 PM PDT

That was fast!

Desperate Housewives finished shooting its final episode just last week, and Teri Hatcher has already landed a new gig.

The actress has signed up for a recurring role on ABC Family's Jane By Design. Teri will be playing Jane's momma, as well as step behind the lens to direct an episode!

Hatcher is SUPER excited about her directorial debut. In a statement she gushed:

"I'm thrilled for the opportunity to direct. So many of the crew and cast of Desperate Housewives have been encouraging me to do this for a long time, from Vanessa Williams, James Denton, to the talented camera crew department and producers. Now that I have time, I'm excited to whole heartedly conquer new ventures."

After spending foreeeever on the same show, it's gonna be really nice to "conquer" something totally new.

Teri's four-episode story arc will start this summer.

Congrats on the gig, girl!

Quote Of The Day

Posted: 30 Apr 2012 12:40 PM PDT

"Sometimes I feel like I'm a bit sick of it. There's only so many times you can listen to the one song. I like the fact that people are still discovering it and I don't feel like it's a noose around my neck. But at the same time, I do wonder how many times you can listen to the same piece of music. I can't think of any song that's ever been picked up like this and I do feel like saying to people sometimes 'Come on guys, there are other songs out there."

GCB & Family Guy Explode With Ratings Juice, Rest Of TV Lies Flaccid

Posted: 30 Apr 2012 12:30 PM PDT

Last night, television watching was short to many participants for a good, old-fashioned viewing orgy!

That show with Kristin Chenoweth , GCB may finally be finding its good, Christian footing in the ratings, rising from the dead by 27%.

The only other show to gain audience members was Family Guy, which grew 12% (in viewership).

The rest of basic cable either stayed the same or lost some fellows - with The Amazing Race falling hardest by 11%.

We bid you adieu, traditional TV watching... Bonjour, future of streaming!

Marina And The Diamonds Reschedule Tour Dates Due To Damaged Vocal Chord!

Posted: 30 Apr 2012 12:20 PM PDT

Sadsies!! We hope it's nothing too serious, Marina!

The UK debut of Marina and the Diamonds' Electra Heart album was tainted today, as Marina Diamandis' has an extremely inflamed vocal chord and will be unable to sing until her throat has chilled the fu** out!

On doctor's orders, Marina must rest her voice for AT LEAST a month, lest she cause permanent damage.

Unfortunately, this affects her upcoming Lonely Hearts Tour - due to ignite this Friday in Manchester - but thankfully, Marina has been able to reschedule all of her May dates, except one!

Yaaaay!

Mosey on down (below) to check out the new dates, and hopefully Marina will be back on stage where her diamond voice belongs, soon soon soon!

June 18th Norwich Waterfront
June 20th Glasgow ABC
June 21st Edinburgh Queens Hall
June 22nd Manchester Cathedral
June 24th Leamington Assembly Hall

E! Picks Up A Singing Competition Reality Series From Idol Producer!

Posted: 30 Apr 2012 12:10 PM PDT

Cable is taking ova!!

With ratings for American Idol dropping, E! is attempting to jump on the bandwagon fill the singing competition void with a show of their very own!

The network just announced that they have picked up Opening Act: a talent competition reality show from American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance executive producer Nigel Lythgoe.

The show comes fully-equipt with judges -- Mary J. Blige, music producer/songwriter Antonina Armato, and Lythgoe himself -- AND a very unique prize: to go on tour with Nicki Minaj, Rod Stewart, LMFAO, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, Jason Mraz or Gym Class Heroes as their opening act.

That is WAY better than money$!

Another odd thing about Opening Act -- there are NO auditions.

Nigel and his peeps will find contestants on the internet, then fly them to El Lay for some training and an amazing one-time performance.

This actually sounds like it could be worth watching! Good movie E!!

Celebs DO eat... sometimes.

The greatest love of our time shone its radiating light on patrons at Serafina restaurant in NYC Sunday, as Kanye West and Kim Kardashian made romantic eyes at each other during brunch.

Love and brunch. Such a beautiful mix!

The two later headed out to catch a performance of Wicked.

AW! Sounds like a perfect Sunday date-day to us!

And then home for a 'nooner, right?? HAAAH!

Jennifer Love Hewitt Adds Another Client To Her List! Watch HERE!

Posted: 30 Apr 2012 11:50 AM PDT

Another new episode of The Client List, another bizarrely uncomfortable masturbation scene for the Jennifer Love Fefferman Rub 'n Tug collection!

We're beginning to like this routine! Haha!

Ch-ch-check out the HIGHlarious clip from the Lifetime series, which features our heroine comforting an embarrassed law student over his noticable boner on the massage table...before, well, you know...'alleviating' the situation all together (above)!

Not just television for women any more!

Okay, we're sorry to detract from the amazingness that is this show, but if a law student is so busy with schoolwork that he doesn't have time to rub one out, how does he have time to book an appointment - and pay - for a woman to do it for him?!

C'mon, writers! Let's get CREATIVE with these scenes!

Our collection of them is going to need a little variety! Ha!
