Ryan Seacrest 'Deeply Saddened' By Dick Clark's Death!

Posted: 18 Apr 2012 01:50 PM PDT

We're all mourning the loss of Dick Clark, but one person in particular was extra close to Dick.

Having taken the New Year's Rockin' Eve torch in 2006, Ryan Seacrest learned an amazing amount of wisdom from the late radio and television innovator.

The two became great friends through the years, a friendship that meant so much to Ryan as Dick was one of his main influences growing up.

Ryan tweets:

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend Dick Clark. He has truly been one of the greatest influences in my life.

Soo sad!!!

Our thoughts are with you, Ryan. We know this has to be crazy though right now...

Buffy's little sister Michelle Trachtenberg was spotted leaving the Troubador Hotel in West Hollywood Tuesday night with Foster The People frontman, Mark Foster!

Michelle ALSO tweeted a snapshot of the two together from the Coachella #burton party.

We wonder if they've been cozying up since the music fest?? They needed each other's body heat to protect them from the Coldchella winds!

Test Audiences LOVE Charlie Sheen's Anger Management

Posted: 18 Apr 2012 01:20 PM PDT

This time last year, most of the world probably thought the next hit show they would see Charlie Sheen on was Celebrity Rehab, but it sounds like his next hit will be the upcoming FX sitcom Anger Management.

Sources are reporting that the pilot is testing overwhelmingly positive and it's not just the show audiences are responding to -- it's the MaSheen's presence!

Not only did 80% of the men and women attending the screening admit that they loved the actor's portrayal of an unorthodox therapist, but they are rooting for him to make a career comeback!

We're not shocked because who doesn't love an unlikely comeback in Tinseltown? We have a feeling America can't help their curiosity and will be tuning in by the millions to watch the premiere of Anger Management on June 28th.

If the show is as good as test audiences indicate, then it will probably become must-see TV because Sheen was ranked as the sixth most popular television actor last year.

We are feeling this!

Anjulie is digging her heels in and claiming her place as a more accessible and mainstream M.I.A. - and that's a good thing!

The Canadian singer/songwriter still brings lots of flavor, but it's a lot more easily digestible to the masses.

Check out her dope new song Headphones (above)!

Pippa Middleton’s Friend Apologizes For Gun 'Joke'

Posted: 18 Apr 2012 12:50 PM PDT

'Toy' guns are just a bit of fun, guys!

Pippa Middleton, sister of England's Queen-to-be, was involved in a media clusterfluck this past weekend when she was snapped in Paris sitting next to a driver who pulled out a "fake" gun and pointed it at nearby photographers.

This was all supposedly part of some game the Aristocratic crew were playing with the paps.

NOW, her French fashion-designer friend Arthur de Soultrait - who was with her at the time - has issued an official apology and explanation, claiming it was just a protective prank that got massively out of control.

UH, who just has a toy handgun that looks EXACTLY like a real gun chillin' in their Audi glovebox? We're still a little skeptical on the whole sitch...

Read Soultrait's official statement ...AFTER THE JUMP!

"Last Saturday, I was in a car with Philippa Middleton, and we were being followed by paparazzi.

She had been subject to constant and dangerous harassment by paparazzi throughout her time in Paris. The car was being driven by a friend of mine, whom Pippa had only met a few hours before. As a joke, my friend brandished a toy pistol in their direction.

Obviously Philippa had no idea that he was going to do that and told him to stop immediately. She did not find it funny.

I regret enormously that this incident happened, and especially that Pippa has been subject to the subsequent attention through no fault of her own. I have apologized to her for this."

Two More Filmmakers In Talks To Direct Catching Fire

Posted: 18 Apr 2012 12:20 PM PDT

As you all probably know, Lionsgate is on the hunt for a new director to helm the sequel to The Hunger Games.

Critically acclaimed filmmakers David Cronenberg, Alfonso Cuaron, and Alejandro González Iñárritu were named as potential candidates to direct Catching Fire, but now the studio has named two more possibilities.

Sources report that Bennett Miller, who directed Oscar nominee Moneyball, and Francis Lawrence are in talks to take over. The latter most recently directed Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon in Water For Elephants, but also helmed the 2005 action movie Constantine.

Considering Miller is already attached to direct a project in the fall and filming for the adaptation of Suzanne Collins' second book is slated to begin in August, Lawrence's open schedule may increase his chances of getting the gig.

Based on their resume, which director of the two would U like to direct Catching Fire?

Next Week, On Glee…

Posted: 18 Apr 2012 12:10 PM PDT

It's still so hard to believe that she's gone, but the Glee cast is honoring the legendary Whitney Houston in the best way they know how -- by singing, of course!

Now before fans get up in arms -- we actually think the McKinley kids do Houston's songs justice. Of course NO ONE could ever sing them as well as Whitney herself did, but we still gotta give credit where it's due.

See/Listen for yourself in the preview of the next episode, Dance With Somebody, (above)!!!

CHILLS!!!

How amazing do they sound on How Will I Know???

...and was that just Santana and Puck getting all sentimental and shiz?!? What is happening!!!!

We can't believe graduation is SO soon...good thing we'll have the special Glee: The Music, The Graduation Album to hold us over soon enough!

Yup. We can feel the tears forming already!!!

Hang in there, Gleeks! We'll get through this together!

Netflix Debuting ALL New Arrested Development Episodes At Once!

Posted: 18 Apr 2012 12:00 PM PDT

Soooooo many people will be having Arrested Development marathons sometime next year!

Netflix has announced it will release all of the new episodes from the long-awaited fourth season at the same time!

Yes! Not only do we not have to worry about commercial breaks, but we don't have to deal with that annoying seven day wait between new episodes and can watch them all WHENEVER we want!

It's like Christmas Day for great television!

The online streaming service has reportedly devised this strategy to differentiate the company from traditional television competitors.

We're sure pretty much every fan of the show couldn't be more excited to hear this news, but we'd like to advise everyone to be careful! Considering we've all been waiting YEARS for another season, it's probably a good idea to ration the 10 episodes throughout the first month week in order to properly savor the moment.

Hopefully this delivery strategy won't make Arrested Development's glorious return fly by in the blink of an eye.

Hilary Duff And Hubby Enjoy Dinner Date Without Luca!

Posted: 18 Apr 2012 11:50 AM PDT

Good! We're glad that they managed to get a night out!

Hilary Duff and her husband, Mike Comrie, took a short break from their role as new parents to enjoy a quiet dinner with friends at SoHo House in El Lay!

Sources say that the new mom was relaxed, but laughing and enjoying conversation with pals while sipping on wine - and when it was time to leave, her husband even pull out her chair for her!

Such a gentleman!

These two just look so happy! We couldn't be more thrilled for them!

Enjoy this time, guys! And congratulations again!
