Rihanna's "Battleship" Photocall At Pearl Harbor

Posted: 29 Apr 2012 10:00 AM PDT

Rihanna is putting her all into the promotional aspects of Battleship.  She's taken time away from recording a new album to travel the world and promote the film.  See pics of her photocall in Hawaii here.........

A smiling Rihanna joined co-stars Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard and Brooklyn Decker for a photo call at the Battleship Missouri Memorial on Saturday (April 28) in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.  The cast shot the movie on the island and returned for the big premiere week:

Yes...we would be giggly too if the hotness that is Alex Skarsgard was right by our side.

Ri kept it simple in a sweater and a pair of slacks for the photo ops.

The cast also snapped pics with Col. Gregory D. Gadson, who serves as the director of the U.S. Army Wounded Warrior Program.

SPOTTED: Mariah Carey And The Twins SHOPPING In Paris + Raven Symone DISHES On "Sister Act"

Posted: 29 Apr 2012 09:19 AM PDT

The newly "remarried" diva Mariah Carey was spotted shopping in Paris with her twins. See the pics inside and hear what Raven Symone said about "Sister Act" being an inspiration for young women.

Jenny spokeswoman Mariah Carey was spotted posing leaving the Plaza Athenee Hotel the day after her vowel renewal with hubby Nick.

Although it was raining, Mimi and her twins were headed shopping at the Azzedine Alaia store in Paris in the rain:

A few days ago, Mimi renewed her vows to Nick cannon saying, “Tonight was an incredible night, I can't express how amazing it was to renew our vows in Paris at the top of the Eiffel tower.”

And on Broadway...........

Raven Symone chatted with BLACKVOICES about her new role in the musical "Sister Act," helping young woman get their lives on track and protecting themselves in sexual relationships.

Can you talk about your involvement with the “Plan It Forward” campaign?

“Plan It Forward” is a way for young adults and young women to plan their lives, whether it’s in education, career, family planning, contraception, or how ever you want to continue to live your life. With this website you’re able to use the different tools that they have to help you reach those goals.

With reports stating that young women are becoming more involved in sexual relationships, do you have any advice?

Well that’s something that I think you talk to your parents about or a mentor of that nature. My opinion on that is something that I’m totally not comfortable talking about. But I think that going to this website and understanding that if you have a plan, or have a plan to have a family later in life and find other ways of dealing with contraception early, that’s what this website does. But it’s kind of difficult for me to talk about that topic because it’s so personal.

How did you go about planning for your future while you were younger?

My parents did it for me. Before they had a kid they planned out what they wanted to reach and what goals they wanted their child to reach. And thankfully I was up for it at such a young age, and I’m still a part of that plan. As I get older realizing what I want to do with my own life, and as I continue to grow, I’m going to set plans for myself and my kids. So a lot of us are in the plans of what our parents did, especially for the people that we want to come to the website, because now it’s time to take control of your own life. And sometimes nobody has that information for you.

When we last spoke you mentioned that you didn’t really have any career plans set following “Sister Act.” Is that still your plan or are you just taking it one step at a time?

I have personal plan of what I want to do, but nothing in the career field right now. I think I just want to take a little break. But I’m working during this campaign. This is going to be one of the few things that I’m involved with because of how I feel about it. But yeah, nothing’s really changed too much. Getting the “Sister Act” together and making sure all of my college-aged young women get their life on track.

In new court docs filed, TMZ reports Tawanna reported Allen for harassing her and her family as he "has engaged in increasingly contemptuous, threatening, and disturbing behavior."

So now, Tawanna wants a restraining order and she's accusing Allen of hiding money from her.  Sigh....we will keep you posted.  But am I the only one who wants to see these two on next season of VH1's "Couples Therapy"?

First Lady Michelle Obama LAUGHS IT UP At White House Correspondents' Dinner, President Obama's Hilarious Speech & Celebs Hit The Red Carpet

Posted: 29 Apr 2012 07:33 AM PDT

It was a big night of laughs at last night's 2012 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in D.C.  Our President & First Lady welcomed journalists and media entities and their celebrity & political guests to the Washington Hilton ballroom for both Obama's tongue-in-cheek speech & special guest Jimmy Kimmel's hilarious speech.

Pics of FLOTUS and celebs like Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Kerry Washington and more inside....

Laughing it up with Jimmy all night, the gorgeous First lady Michelle Obama kept it fabulous in print with her modified version of Naeem Khan’s strapless multi-colored organza ball gown from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection:

Great choice.

Mrs. O was spotted chuckling away at her hubby's jokes as he gave his speech to the room, and Jimmy kept her entertained as well.

As for the celebs in attendance:

Alicia Keys rocked a yellow cut-out neckline dress with black pumps and tights for the occasion.  While her hubby Swizz Beatz looked dapper in his suit.  I wish Alicia would have donned a gown or a much dressier cocktail dress for this.

Oscar nominee Viola Davis looked chic in her red gown alongside her husband:

Very nice.

Mary J. Blige and her husband Kendu sparkled on the red carpet in all black with a pop of color.

Holly Robinson Peete rocked a Mandalay dress for the ocassion.

John Legend and his fiancee Christine Tiegen were there as well:

Loving this red gown on Chrissy.

And "Scandal" actress Kerry Washington donned a simple peach v-neck long sleeved gown for the big night:

She tweeted how interesting it is to hear D.C. people's take on her new show, which is centered around politics and scandals in our nation's capital.

Attorney General Eric Holder was there with his wife, Dr. Sharon Malone.

And President Obama had some fun with his guests while giving his speech:

He joked about Mitt Romney, the secret service's new curfew, being snobby, Hillary Clinton and her drunk texting, and more. Check out two videos of highlights below:

Prez referencing that he will go with Young Jeezy's theme song for his second term. Ha!

Fab times!

BALLER LOVE: Shaq Slobs Down Hoopz In The Club + Gilbert Arenas Drops Lawsuit Against Fiancee' Laura Govan...Temporarily

Posted: 28 Apr 2012 08:52 PM PDT

If Shaq is trying to prove he's still very much with his little lady Nicole "Hoopz" Alexander...this is one way to do it.  While up in the comedy club this weekend, the twosome seemed to

Despite shooting down the rumors on Sway's Shade 45 morning show last month, NBA Analyst Shaq still wanted to make things clear.  he and his live-in girlfriend/reality star Hoopz are good.  So good that they kept their lips locked on each other all night yesterday at the Courvoisier "C if U Can Make Shaq Laugh" comedy competition in Atlanta.

While three finalist were selected to meet Shaq and perform their act live for partygoers and the panel of judges, it seemed like Hoopz already slapped that smile on his face.

Well isn't that special.

In other baller news,

NBA baller Gilbert Arenas just had a change of heart.  After recently popping the question to his now fiancee Laura Govan (for their seciond engagement, he also dropped that big lawsuit he was threatening her with for being on the "Basketball Wives: LA" show.  But, according to TMZ, he made sure to add in a clause that he can bring it back up any time he wants.  Like if/when they get into it again.

The now Grizzlies baller filed the suit on Laura after their previous big breakup--or should we say when he picked up and chucked deuces before the Holidays a couple years ago--to prevent her from using his name and likeness for profit on her VH1 show.  So now that they're back on--new ring, the latest addition to their family & new life--he's dropped the lawsuit.  For now.  VH1 producers are pushing to get the lawsuit dropped permanently.

Seems like the mother of his 4 kids is nothing but happy now that things are on the up and up:

She tweeted pics of her and her little boy this week at a water park.  Lookin' good Laura!

UPDATE:

Watch this jokester talk about Shaq getting robbed "allegedly" of $5,000.
