Film star Zoe Saldana was spotted with her new husband Marco Perego at an amfAR gala in Los Angeles. Get deets on the fundraiser and Zoe's latest film inside....
Colombiana star Zoe Saldana and her new husband Marco Perego (whom she secretly wed a few months ago) attended the 2013 amfAR Inspiration Gala at Milk Studios in Los Angeles this week. The swanky fundraiser for HIV/AIDS research was presented by MAC Viva Glam.
While on the red carpet, the international fashionista struck a glamorous pose in a Marni Spring 2014 black belted peplum dress with asymmetrical layered ruffles. She complimented the look with David Yurman mandarin-garnet-and-rubellite drop earrings, a black-diamond pinky ring, and red velvet Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps.
Zoe is currently on a national press tour for her latest release, Out of the Furnace (in theaters now), starring Christian Bale and Casey Affleck.

After a child support retrieval company put out a media alert yesterday about being retained by Andrea Kelly to strategically recover the child support money allegedly owed to her by R.Kelly, everybody in the situation is now backtracking.
Deets inside... After this big press release went out yesterday by The Custodial Support Foundation saying they were hired by Andrea to recover outstanding child support from R. Kelly in the amount of $114,900. They would work to uncover secret bank accounts and more so Andrea received what she deserved and what was court ordered. Now, R's people and Andrea's people say he's paid up. And the company has reportedly said they are going to issue a retraction. R. says the company lied and he's already paid up, and Andrea says she never hired them. Hmmm. Not sure what's going on here, but um, yeah... Bruno Mars has been named Billboard Magazine's "Artist Of The Year". Get the deets inside and watch Jamie Foxx in the latest "Spiderman 2" trailer... Billboard Magazine has bestowed Bruno Mars with its top honor "Artist Of The Year." Bruno, who nabbed four Grammy nominations this year, scored several hits on the famed chart including "Treasure", "Locked Out of Heaven" and "When I Was Your Man." In fact, he came in No. 1 on eight of Billboard's year end lists, including "Hot 100 Artists," "Top Overall Artists," "Hot 100 Singles Airplay," "Hot Digital Songs," "Mainstream Top 40" and "Pop Digital Songs." Bruno's manager Brandon Creed told Billboard, "It's been an incredible year...We definitely had goals going into this project to support the artist, his music and performance. But we tried to do everything for a purpose, nothing gratuitous. And we're continuing to lay and build the foundation for him to evolve musically and continue to connect with the audience." In other Bruno news, he's set to perform at the 2014 Super Bowl halftime show and is heading back out for a North American round of his Moonshine Jungle World Tour (dates are tba).
At the movies..... All year, we've been buzzing about Jamie Foxx's role as the super-villain Electro, in the new Spiderman sequel, and now there's a trailer showing him in action! Hitting theaters on May 2, 2014, Jamie stars as an electrician who gets struck by lightening and develops the ability to control electricity. As a result of the "shock", he emerges as Electro.

In today's "Checks and Balances", Wale checked Complex Magazine for overlooking his album "The Gifted" by threatening to fight the staff! Hear the audio inside and get the latest of R. Kelly's back child support balance and peep how a local police chief checked Kanye West for his ego. Move over Kanye.......the "RANT OF THE YEAR" award MIGHT just go to Wale. Wale hit Complex Magazine with a profanity-laced tirade after they left his album The Gifted off "The 50 Best Albums of 2013" list. Apparently, Wale took it VERY personal. In the clip (which Complex posted), Wale accused the magazine of being biased against him. “At this point, you know it’s got to be personal. You telling me it’s not personal. It's like a bold face lie. To be omitted from every type of list that y’all do or be at the bottom of it or every type of way that y’all can omit me, ya will.” Wale even named names! “You mean to tell me Juicy J album better than mine? Is that what you trying to tell me?” And then came the threats...."I swear to God I’ll come to that office and start knocking n****s the fuck out. Alright. I'll see y'all tomorrow. Get the security ready." After the rant, Complex posted this response to Wale....
We know that Wale is a good guy (we've shared with you several of his community service initiatives) but he really needs to calm down. It's a damn list. In family court....
"Hollywood Exes" star Andrea Kelly has enlisted the services of Project Child Support to aid in her legal battle with ex-husband R. Kelly. Yep, it's a real organization helping parents get their due money from their spouse. Project Child Support released a statement revealing that they are partnering with Andrea to get the $114,900 she's owed in back child support:
If you're wondering why Andrea hired a non-profit, it's because the foundation has built special relationships with entertainment attorneys to assist in locating the hidden revenue sources of entertainers at R. Kelly's level. In other words....stop playing like you can't afford to pay up R. Kelly! In other music news....
Daniel Oliver, an Ohio police chief with the Brimfield Police Department, penned a sarcastic (but funny) open letter to Kanye West recently. David heard an interview where Kanye said, 'I’m just giving of my body on the stage and putting my life at risk, literally... and I think about it. I think about my family and I’m like, wow, this is like being a police officer or something, in war or something.' In response to the comparison, Daniel ripped Yeezus a new one....

T.I.'s got a new Columbia Records deal and is now launching Book of Kings Vol. 1, presented by his clothing line, AKOO Clothing Co. And last night at Pillars 38, he showed off the first-of-its-kind coffee table book at a private reception for press & celebs. The book includes T.I. himself, Pharrell, Melody Ehsani, Iggy Azalea, Lil Duval, and more.
Bow Wow and Gloria Govan were there to nosh on hors d’oeuvres by Evelyn’s Kitchen and Hennessy VS cocktails.
Tyson Beckford was there to support.
T.I.P. posed it up with his down south homies like Bun B.
And he helped artist Sue Tsai show off her work in the book.
The Breakfast Club host Angela Yee made sure to have her drink in hand.

The writing's been on the wall for a while now. Khloe Kardashian Odom actually pulled the trigger today and filed divorce papers on NBA baller Lamar Odom.
Deets inside... After 4 years of marriage that encompassed loads of love dovey social media posts that turned into an alleged crack saga, Khloe & Lamar have officially split. According to TMZ, the papers were filed just now in California by Khloe and she cited the celebrity standard, 'Irreconcilable Differences'. And she's asking for 'Odom' to be dropped from her legal name. Since the couple reportedly have a pre-nup, they will leave the marriage with exactly what they entered with. As for just how much is Khloe ready to shake her hands of the marriage, she's not asking for spousal support. And she wants the judge to ban Lamar from asking for the same. Khloe & Lamar's marriage seems to have fallen apart this past summer after rumors--which were never 100% confirmed but not denied either--of Lamar being kicked out of the marital home due to his addiction to crack cocaine taking over his life. Recently, we've seen the two hitting up Kanye's Yeezus tour together and grabbing meals a couple times, but it seems the Odoms never found their way back to each other. We're sure THIS little video didn't help. Meanwhile, Khloe's been spending her free time--which is all her time--working on her fitness, traveling to Dubai to "promote" some Kardashian clothes, and partying it up with folks like The Game. Lamar has been working out and trying to get back into NBA shape.

It looks like Mrs. Carter's unprecedented release strategy for her fifth studio album has paid off...majorly. Chart News reports she has officially crossed the 200,000 copies sold in the U.S. mark for her self titled visual album, Beyonce. And 80,000 of those were sold in the first 3 hours after her surprise midnight release. These numbers make King Bey & her utter hotness #1 in 87 countries. Billboard reports she's also poised to snatch the #1 Billboard 200 spot from heavy hitter Garth Brooks after just 3 days in the Billboard cycle (versus a week for everyone else). Bey said about the project, "I just want to give my album to the people I love and respect and hope that they feel the same thing I felt when I made the music". Mission accomplished. The album is sensual, intimate, empowering, and damn good.

Transparent? Yes. Necessary? Totally. "SNL" has flown in several black comediennes to do an official audition in NYC this coming Monday. Check out who's up for the gig inside.... After receiving plenty of criticism from viewers, the industry and current "SNL" cast members about the obvious lack of black women in the cast for the last 5 years, Executive Producer Lorne Michaels has finally taken action. As we type, about 10 black female actresses/comedians are auditioning for NBC's iconic sketch comedy show in New York City. And while comedienne Tiffany Haddish told media today that an L.A. showcase that took place last week (to scout for black female "SNL" talent) was all just for show and NBC wasn't taking it seriously...it's actually not the case. It seems that Tiffany simply wasn't chosen to move forward. A few of the women auditioning in NYC were indeed scouted at that showcase. TheYBF.com has learned that Simone Shepherd (pictured above on top right), who we've often seen in parody videos with Torrei Hart, has been asked to audition.
The rest of the line up of YBF chicks likely up for the new "SNL" role(s) was announced by Deadline. Tanisha Long from MTV's "Girl Code" (pictured atop on left) is on the short list. And we love her. Bresha Webb, pictured above and who stars on "Love That Girl", has been tapped. So have Misty Monroe, who comes out of Groundlings; Gabrielle Dennis, who played Derwin's baby's mama on BET’s "The Game"; Amber Ruffin, member of Boom Chicago, an Amsterdam-based sketch group; and actress-comedian Leslie Jones. Also possibly testing are UCB Theatre performers Sasheer Zamata, Natasha Rothwell, who previously won an NBC Universal Diversity Scholarship; as well as Briana KC.
