Today is the 31st birthday of rapper Nicki Minaj. Since her departure from the American Idol judges' table, Nicki has returned to her "features" hustle, making several high-profile appearances on some of the industry's biggest hits. Outside of the recording studio, we've also seen Nicki take her talents to the silver screen with her casting in "The Other Woman" starring Cameron Diaz. There's also been a surge in Nicki Mianj audio equipment, fragrances and affordable clothing. No one can deny that at the tender age of 31, Nicki Minaj really "Did It On 'Em" and she continues to make her presence felt all over the world. Fancy artwork seems to bring out Diddy's romantic side as he was spotted staring lovingly into the eyes of Cassie at Art Basel. See pics of the couple boo'd up at the club inside...
While hobknobbing with some of the world's wealthiest art collectors at Art Basel, Diddy and Cassie hosted a birthday party for DJ Efeezy at Dream in Miami. The couple were very affectionate in front of the crowd and photographers even capture the couple in the middle of a romantic embrace! This year, we've seen both Diddy and Cassie share more of their relationship with fans via social media. Remember when Cassie gave Diddy a foot massage?
In addition to becoming more transparent with her relationship, Cassie's also been more forthcoming with new music. We're fans of her track "Indo" on Solange's recent Saint Heron compilation.

Over the weekend, a teaser for Beyonce's "Grown Woman" video was leaked. The tribal-themed clip looks like an extended version of the mini-movie fans of Beyonce's Mrs. Carter Show World Tour are treated to when Bey performs the song live. You'll recall that Bey showed a rough cut of the video to Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams earlier this summer. The visual features Bey's twerking and cameos from Tina Knowles and Kelly. Our reporting about Jay Z and Bey's vegan challenge was spotted by the execs at PETA . In response to Jay and Bey going vegan, the animal rights group issued this statement:

The "RHOA" appeared on Arsenio Hall's talkshow last night where Porsha snapped off about people saying she's dumb. Watch the clips inside....
Cynthia Bailey, Phaedra Parks and Porsha Stewart stopped by Arsenio to clear the air about some of the headline-grabbing feuds on RHOA.

With a fur coat draped across her shoulders, Keri Hilson and a group of her friends celebrated her 31st birthday last night.
The party was held at Prive with Keri tweeting "ATL!! Tonight I'm celebrating my Bday at Prive w/ @AGENTERTAINMENT & @itschubbiebaby!!! Um didn't we JUST do this, fellas? Damn time flies!! Thanking God for another year of life. Now it's time to LIVE."
Keri's boo, Serge Ibaka, wasn't able to attend the party but he wished her a happy birthday and said "I Love You" on Twitter:
Tonight, Keri will party at Atlanta's Krave Lounge. She tweeted, "I had SO MUCH FUN last night!! I'm celebrating life allllll weekend!!"

R&B divas Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey (and Dem Babies) and Janelle Monae joined President Obama for the 91st national Christmas tree lighting ceremony at The White House. See photos inside.....
Last night, the Obama family surrounded President Barack Obama on the Ellipse south of the White House during the 91st national Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
The lighting of the tree is an annual tradition attended by the president and the first family and started by President Calvin Coolidge in 1923.
President Obama also paid tribute to Nelson Mandela saying, "In his life he blessed us with tremendous grace and unbelievable courage. And we are all privileged to live in a world touched by his goodness."
First Lady Michelle Obama appeared with Sesame Street Muppet Abby Cadabby and read "The Night Before Christmas."
Janelle Monae performed "The Christmas Song".
The Queen of Soul performed "Joy to the World" and "The First Noel," and shielded her hair and her mink from the rain with the help of an Army Band sergeant...diva style!
Mariah Carey sang "All I Want for Christmas is You."
"Glee" star Jane Lynch hosted the evening. She posed with The President, Mariah and Mariah's daughter Monroe. Mariah posted "Sharing a moment with the Queen!"
Janelle posted on Instagram "Yes. The Queen."

Beyonce joined Kelly Rowland, her mom and cousin Angie to celebrate the birthday of LA-based jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz. See party pics inside and candids of her vegan lunch with Jay Z.
Beyonce was among the celebs who came out to celebrate the birthday of Lorraine Schwartz, jewelry designer to the stars. Lorraine received well wishes from "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara, Tina Knowles, Angie Beyince, and Kelly Rowland.
Lorraine also designed the fabulous jewels Kelly rocked during the Grammy Nominations Concert last night.
In other Beyonce news....
She and Jay Z are sticking to the pledge he made for his 44th birthday to live on an all-plant diet.
The two were spotted leaving Crossroads Vegan Restaurant in Los Angeles yesterday.
Bey sported a black and white cow print leather jacket with black leather pants and Kurt Geiger Britton Pumps.
This year, Jay Z received more 2014 Grammy nominations than any other artist....nine!

LL Cool J was joined by Kelly Rowland, Robin Thicke, Tamar Braxton, T.I. and Miguel at the Grammy Nominations Concert where Jay Z, Pharrell and Kendrick Lamar grabbed top honors. See pics and nominations inside.....
Last night, L Cool J hosted The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! Countdown To Music's Biggest Night show at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live . The broadcast included a tribute to Nelson Mandela.
Hopefully, we'll be seeing several YBFers at the winner's podium when the broadcast airs on Jan. 26 from the Staples Center. Jay Z led the pack with nine nominations including Rap Album and two nods in the Rap/Sung Collaboration category. Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell and Justin Timberlake scored big earning seven nominations a piece. Also, Newcomer and YBF fave Mack Wilds is nominated for Urban Contemporary Album. On a side note, we know he's got the vote of Grammy winning songwriter Sevyn Streeter who called him "attractive" in a new YouTube clip. We still have them on couples watch! Tamar Braxton certainly has something to sing about! She nab a few nominations including Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best Urban Contemporary Album.
T.I. walked the carpet in a track suit and socks with a Native American print.
Legendary EWF bassist Verdine White wore a shiny suit.
Kelly Rowland, one of the presenters, turned heads in a Tom Ford jacket, Victoria Beckham skirt and jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz.
Kelly is featured on Fantasia's Grammy nominated track "Without Me". The track is competing in the best R&B song category.
Robin Thicke and T.I. performed "Blurred Lines" with Earth, Wind & Fire. The song picked up seven nominations including Record Of The Year.
Miguel was joined by country star Keith Urban for a rendition of Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine." He also picked up a nod for Best R&B Performance.
Talk Show host Arsenio Hall was spotted at the show.
