The Mama Drama Is Over! Leighton Meester Prevails In Court!

Leighton must be so relieved!

To recap, Leighton Meester used to generously give her mother $7,500 a month to help with her brother's medical bills, but her mom claimed Leighton had actually agreed to $10K/month...AND didn't pay up!

Then, Leighton went to court to have a judge declare the claims to be untrue, and as a result her mother Constance filed a lawsuit over "a non-existent management agreement," "an alleged support agreement" and "an alleged settlement agreement."

THEN last month, Leighton's mother attacked her again, and blamed her for financially abandoning both her and her brother Lex.

Now, we're pleased to announce that a judge has "accepted Constance's decision to bow down," and Leighton is "being allowed to obtain a default judgment against her mother."

We're just glad to hear that Constance has finally run out of money to pay her lawyer realized that she won't win in court against Leighton.

Hopefully this is the last that we hear about any Meester Mama Drama! And hey, maybe one day these two will even reconcile...

Smallville Actor Serving His Time For Hillbilly Heroin!

Sam Jones III, the actor we all know from Smallville, has begun serving his year-long sentence.

After being busted in the major Hollywood Connection oxycodone drug ring, Sam was charged and sentenced to a minimal year's sentence.

Fortunately for the actor, it's looking like his 365 day stay will be reduced a couple of months.

It's gonna be a crappy holiday season for him, but at least he'll come out in time next year! Hopefully the wiser!

Another hope is that his girlfriend, Karissa Shannon, will still be there for him when he gets out!

Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds Do Brunch - And Then Some!

Things still seem to be on par with these two.

Blake Lively was spotted having breakfast with her sister and brother-in-law this weekend on the Lower East Side, bringing along a studly date for company. Yet again, Blake was on the arm of Ryan Reynolds, a now all too recurring coincidence these days for the lovebirds. In fact, we rarely hear about them being apart!

Anyway, the pair enjoyed snuggling up together and good conversation over some doughnuts, tacos de huevos, bacon-egg-and-cheese biscuits, pierogies and muffins. Spies on the scene say Blake and Ryan were "very cuddly, giggling and leaning on each other in the booth." After the meal was over, they headed back towards the West Village to grab some coffee at Mojo on Charles Street.

Ah! This Gossip Girl is teaching Ryan all the ropes of the big city! How fun!

Megaupload Prepared To Sue Universal Music Group

Because who the hell do they think they are!

As we reported earlier, Megaupload had some major success in getting so A-list music stars to appear in a music video endorsing the site. Everyone from Diddy to Mary J Blige lent their celebrity to the cause, hoping to spread the good word of using the file sharing site.

But not everyone was thrilled with the video; namely, Universal Music Group, as several of their top performers were involved and they didn't see a dime for it. Immediately, they had YouTube pull the "Mega Song" off the site, claiming that it was infriging on material they had the copyright to.

Friends, that just isn't so and Megaupload is out to prove it with one hell of lawsuit! The site is lawyering up Megaupload CEO David Robb had this to say about the controversy this morning:

"Let us be clear: Nothing in our song or the video belongs to Universal Music Group. We have signed agreements with all artists endorsing Megaupload. Efforts to reach out to UMG and open a dialog about this abuse of the DMCA process were answered with unfounded and baseless legal threats and demands for an apology."

With this issue in full swing, the site is also prepared to add it's assistance to the SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act)debate, which threatens to censor the Internet in a major way. David Robb added:

"UMG is currently lobbying lawmakers in Washington for legislation that would allow them to not only delete specific content from a website, but to delete entire websites from the Internet. After this demonstration of the abuse of power by UMG, we are certain that such an instrument of Internet censorship should not be put into the hands of corporations."

Great!

Now, if you could get some of those famous friends of yours to do the same and stand up to stop SOPA from happening, then we might be on our way!

Paris Hilton's Ragin' Xmas Party Pisses Off The Neighbors!

When all through Mulholland
All of her friends, came through with presents...

And when all 100 of Paris Hilton's guests came and left at the same time , it causes a major stream of traffic for Mulholland Estates.

Non-guests of Paris' party had to wait at least 35 minutes just to get in and get home!!

According to a pissed off neighbor source:

Paris' parties are legendary. She always goes all out. Non-invited guests that were going to visit other people's houses had to wait almost 35 minutes in line on a Wednesday night, just to get into to see the person they were going to visit. Paris does provide valet parking for party guests, and this clogs the streets around her house. Paris is the neighbor from hell.

Ooooh....yeah....gurl, ya gotta do somethin' about that mess!

You wouldn't wanna join the infamous not-so-neighborly club with Chris Brown would you?? LOL!!

George Takei Wants Trekkies And Star Wars Fans To Unite And Fight A Common Enemy…Twilight!

U hear that, Twi-Hards? Maybe U guys should team up with the Harry Potter fans and strike back against Star fans everywhere!

AND THEN maybe fans of the original Star Wars trilogy will wage war on those who prefer the prequel trilogy!!!!!! LOLz!

All jokes aside, we can appreciate what George is saying....but we'd prefer to have peace between ALL sci-fi fans! Just sayin'!

Peaches Is Getting Hitched Again!

And this time, she is marrying S.C.U.M.

Peaches Geldof has revealed that she is engaged to her boyfriend Thomas Cohen.

However, don't expect there to be some big, lavish wedding anytime soon. Peaches reveals she and her fiancee from the band S.C.U.M. have decided to wait a bit before heading down the aisle.

As she explains:

"Yes, I'm engaged! We don't want to get married for a couple of years yet though so don't expect me in a dress yet."

She added that she is "so happy" to be getting hitched, regardless of the ambiguous wedding date.

Congrats Peaches. Here's hoping the second time is a charm for you.
