Is Nicole Scherzinger Getting The X Factor Axe, Too? Posted: 24 Dec 2011 01:30 PM PST Uh-oh! Sounds like someone wants it to sound like she's leaving on her own terms! Nicole Scherzinger has had a less-than-stellar run on the first season of X Factor as a member of the judges panel - and a last minute replacement for Cheryl Cole - and although there have been reports that she'll be bumped back to host when Steve Jones is axed, recent comments from the singer herself seem to point to its validity! She says: 'Next year for me, it's about my music. This has been quite a learning experience, quite a journey for me. I didn't expect to have been so emotional through the whole elimination process. I wanted to just mentor and empower artists. I'm used to being on stage and performing and singing for people and people cheering for me. I am an artist first, not a judge first. The reason [my album] hasn't come out yet is because of The X Factor. It's been so time consuming. I work with these contestants six days a week. So I delayed the album, but I was able to perform one of my new singles last week. I really want to find the right roles and the right opportunities in acting. Theater is actually what I studied in college.' Eek! We're going to completely disregard her lies comments about her album, as anyone with half a brain would know how FOOLISH it is to deliberately delay the release of something when there's a venue on which to promote it twice a week! The Dark Knight Rises Is Already Breaking Records - With Its Trailer! Posted: 24 Dec 2011 12:30 PM PST Wow! It's already breaking records and it hasn't even been released yet! The trailer for The Dark Knight Rises was only just released on Monday, but according to a statement from Warner Bros. Pictures, the Christopher Nolan-directed conclusion to his Batman trilogy has become the most downloaded of its type via the iTunes Movie Trailers website, as well as the iTunes iOS app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch! Furthermore, it broke the record for most views in 24 hours with 12.5 million tuning in! Incredible! We seriously cannot wait for this!

Lady GaGa announced recently that as a holiday gift to her fans, she would be releasing an previously unheard track from the Born This Way sessions, and a day early, we're getting another treat! Give a listen to Take You Out, which was produced by Martin Kierszenbaum and recorded during The Fame sessions (below)! lady-gaga-take-you-out Cute! Baz Luhrmann Injured On The Set Of The Great Gatsby! Posted: 24 Dec 2011 11:30 AM PST Oh no! Baz Luhrmann has reportedly been forced to postpone filming his adaptation of the F. Scott Fitzgerald classic The Great Gatsby and send his cast and crew home for the holidays a day early after he injured himself on set! According to co-producer Anton Monsted: "We were on quite a cramped set and he was ducking under the crane. He struck his head on the weights on the end of the camera crane. He split open his head and we had to get the doctor." Ouchie! That sounds painful! Here's hoping there were no further complications, and he can take the holiday to recover and rest! Christmas Eve In India Posted: 24 Dec 2011 11:17 AM PST Day 8 in India was a quiet one. We spent the early morning sleeping in, followed by an extra heart breakfast and more shopping. We LOVE buying very unique things you can't find anywhere else. Plus, we love really tacky/ugly items! Ha In the afternoon we flew from Udaipur to Jaipur. Tyler The Creator Denies Being Arrested Despite Authorities Confirming He Was - And Releasing His Mug Shot! The 20-year-old rapper was arrested last night around 11:30pm after he vandalized sound equipment and attacked an engineer at the Roxy in WeHo last night, which then led to a riot on the streets that was quickly contained by authorities! However, this morning, Tyler is pretending nothing went down at all! He wrote on Twitter: Whoa, Its Stories On Me Being In Jail? The Fuck? I Wasnt In No Jail Or Arrested Or Nothing. Is that right? Well, then why did the LASD not only publicly release the information that you were "booked for Felony Vandalism and later released on a $20,000 bond," but also make your lovely little mugshot public (above) then? The actor's divorce from ex-wife Robyn, with whom he was married for 30 years and had seven children, was finalized yesterday in El Lay, and she was rewarded with half of his estimated $850 million fortune, mainly due to them having no prenuptial agreement, which made her legally entitled to half of everything he earned during their time together! Furthermore, she's already received two Malibu homes that previously belonged to him and are worth a combined $22.5 million, and she'll be entitled to half of every future residual check the actor receives for his film work for the rest of his life! Demi Lovato Slams Disney For Eating Disorder Joke On Its Own TV Show! Posted: 24 Dec 2011 09:30 AM PST Good for her! It's absolutely despicable that this kind of joke would fly - and on a children's network! Demi Lovato has made no secret of her struggles with eating disorders, which ultimately led her to abandon her show Sonny With A Chance and seek treatment this time last year, and apparently, after seeing an episode of the Disney series Shake It Up in which a character says "I could just eat you up, well if I ate," the actress took to Twitter to share her disgust of the tactless line! She wrote: "I could just eat you up, well if I ate" - Disney Chanel's Shake It Up.... What are we promoting here? #notfunnyATALL I find it really funny how a company can lose one of their actress' from the pressures of an EATING DISORDER and yet still make joke about.. ...that very disease..... #nice. And is it just me or are the actress' getting THINNER AND THINNER.... I miss the days of RAVEN, and LIZZIE MCGUIRE. Dear Disney Channel, EATING DISORDERS ARE NOT SOMETHING TO JOKE ABOUT. Just clearing things up, I have nothing against any specific actress/actor or tv show.. Nor do I think there's anything wrong with girls who aren't curvy, I just was stating a fact that there needs to be more variety on television so young girls growing up don't feel pressured to look one specific way. Tall, thin, curvy, short, whatever you are, you are beautiful. Thankfully, reps from the company's PR account quickly responded with: @ddlovato - we hear you & are pulling both episodes as quickly as possible & reevaluating them @ddlovato - It's NEVER our intention to make light of eating disorders! As they should! The line should have never aired in the first place! We understand that entertainment geared toward kids is a tricky medium, as one wants to keep parents entertained as well, but to let careless lines like that - which carry much more gravity than one might initially assume - make it onto a CHILDREN'S SHOW is just irresponsible, and we're grateful that young celebs like Demi are vigilant and letting them know that it's NOT OKAY! X Factor Finale Gets 31% Ratings Boost!! Posted: 23 Dec 2011 09:01 PM PST Sweet! The X Factor finale got a huge ratings boost during its finale night on Thursday, getting a 31% ratings increase! Sure, most of the other networks were airing reruns, but the show still got 12.4 million total viewers, which is pretty, pretty impressive!
