DATE FOR THE BALL!? Brave U.S Marine ASKS First Lady Michelle Obama To ACCOMPANY Him To The Marine Corps Ball

During a recently stop for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign, one of the Marines boldly asked FLOTUS Michelle Obama to be his date to the Marine Corps Ball! First out what Mrs. Obama's response inside...........

While passing out hundreds of Christmas gifts for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign, Michelle Obama scooped up an admirer AND a possible date to the Marine Corps Ball.

While the First Lady was leaning over a toy bin, Lance Cpl. Aaron Leeks, 20, asked Mrs. Obama to accompany to the Marine Corps Ball because he admires her work to support the military.  SIDEBAR:  He's a cutie right!  

So what was Mrs. Obama's response?  Aaron said, 

"She said she'd love to go.  Actually, she said I'd need to speak to her husband, too, but she said she'd love to."

Aaron revealed that he will be deployed to Afghanistan in January but plans to attend the ball when he returns next year.

Hmmm.....what do you think President Obama will say?

Rihanna recently released a still from the set off her Melina-directed "You Da One" video...and it's probably going to upset a few people.

In the photo, it shows the pop star exhaling smoke....implying she might have been smoking!

She recently tweeted,

you know im already in trouble 4 this but, i like to keep yall in the loop

RiRi sure knows how to upset folks!

Though rumors of their split have been circulating for months, Deion Sanders has officially confirmed that he and Pilar Sanders are going their separate ways. Deets inside....

Add Deion & Pilar Sanders to the list of high-profile sports couples going their separate ways.   

The NFL Hall of Famer recently told TMZ, 

"Pilar and I have decided to end our marriage and move on to the next phase of our individual lives with mutual respect. We are friends and our top priority has and will continue to be the well-being of our children.  We arrived at this decision prayerfully and carefully in order to be able to pursue what is in both of our best personal interests."

Though the Sanders have decided to go public with their split, insiders say the couple close the door on their romance a few months ago.  So with nearly 12 years of marriage and three children together, it's over.

Meanwhile, Pilar isn't letting any grass grow under her feet.  She's already appeared on LOGO's "The A-List" and is expected to make a few more reality tv appearances this season.  Now that Deion is gone, the beauty plans to focus on her own modeling and tv career.

Something tells me we are going to be seeing and hearing a lot from Pilar!

 

BABY FAB: J.R. Martinez And Diana Gonzalez-Jones Are EXPECTING!

"DWTS" winner J.R. Martinez has announced that he and longtime girlfriend, Diana Gonzalez-Jones, are expecting their first child next spring! Deets inside.....

Fab actor, J. R. Martinez recently dished to PEOPLE about becoming a father for the first time.

"We found out just last week it's a girl and we are over the moon.  Diana has a little baby bump now and it's the cutest thing ever. With the holidays coming up, this is the biggest and best gift we could get."

J.R. and Diana met on the set of  "All My Children" in 2008 when Diana was working as an assistant to the executive producer. The two became good friends but only decided to take their friendship to the next level last year. 

Diana said,

"We were so good as friends that romantically, we just clicked right away. There was no adjustment period."

So "DWTS" and now a baby.....how does J.R. feel about his fab year?

"2011 has been full of a lot of surprises and opportunities and ultimately, a lot of blessings.  Diana and I were just asking ourselves, 'how is 2012 going to top 2011?' Well, we have our answer!"
