SWV Drops New "CoSign" Single Cover, Restarts Their Career

SWV has been making moves over the last couple years.  And they're making it official with their first studio single and album in 15 years.

 

Check out their brand new "CoSign" single cover and what's up next....

 

As if I wasn't feeling old already.  SWV hasn't had an official single or album in 15 freakin' years--their 1997 Release Some Tension and A Special Christmas albums were the last ones. 

And after hopping on Chris Brown's "She Ain't You" official remix, their fans were craving more.  Cheryl "Coko" Clemons, Tamara "Taj" Johnson-George, and Leanne "Lelee" Lyons just released their official "CoSign" single cover (above) and the track will be released this month.  A new yet-to-be-titled album is on the way as well.

The group just performed in Toronto, Canada over the weekend at the KoolHaus Entertainment Complex.  And in Lagos, Nigeria last week.  They're also in talks to do a new reality show and recently signed a record deal with Mass Appeal Entertainment and E1 Entertainment.

By the way, all these ladies are 40 or approaching it and look fab-u-lous.  Can't wait!

How The Ladies Spent The Weekend: Keri Hilson, Kelly Rowland & Paula Patton

The YBF chicks spent the weekend out and about.  Pretty girl Keri Hilson headed out of town at LAX.  Paula Patton is still globe trotting in Germany for "Mission Impossible."  And Kelly Rowland partied it up in London for "X-Factor".  Pics inside....

 

A blonde and curly Miss Keri was spotted heading out of LAX over the weekend.

Loving her casual airport look.  Sans the boots.  And not sure if that houndstooth luggage is hers but I LOVE it.

 

Over in London, Kelly Rowland worked the carpet for the final "X-Factor" photocall at Wembley Arena:

Very pretty. 

And she also stopped at G.A.Y. nightclub last night to support her former girls' group contestant Misha B. for her performance there.  Fun times.

 

And at the Mission Impossible premiere in Germany, Paula Patton donned her shortest and tightest metallic dress with an oversized white fur for the occassion.

She has a fantastic bod she worked hard for in order to play her part in the movie, so we get she wants to flaunt it.  But the dress cheapens her a bit.

She hit the carpet with her co-star Tom Cruise.  Still pretty nonetheless.

The Randomness:

1.  Maya Angelou, Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Spike Lee, The Tuskegee Airmen and Beverly Kearney will all be honored for their achievements for the 5th annual BET Honors taping January 14th.

SPLITSVILLE: Tyra Banks & John Utendahl Are DONE?!

So much for that rumored engagement.  Tyra Banks has reportedly split from her man of more than three years, banker John Utendahl.  Deets inside...

This break up must have done a number on the supermodel because Tyra has reportedly picked up and gone to Bali on an "Eat, Pray, Love" style "find myself" journey.

The NY Post reports:

A source tells us the “America’s Next Top Model” diva and Brooklyn businessman Utendahl have gone their separate ways, and Banks is in the Far East “on a spiritual trip,” adding, “Tyra has gone away with a female friend and has been island-hopping, visiting Bali and taking a spiritual retreat.”

Hmmm.  Sounds like the Harvard business school student, supermodel and TV mogul isn't the woman who has it all like she appears.  But she did say during Larry King's new "Dinner With The Kings" show that she isn't the strong tough-girl people think she is.  She's actually passive-aggressive and taking classes on being confrontational.  Check out a clip from the show below which aired December 4th on CNN:

 

And to throw salt in the wound, John was supposedly spotted out at Catch restaurant in the meatpacking district with a "leggy supermodel" over the weekend.  Well that was quick...

 

Shaunie O'Neal Celebrates Her B-Day With Evelyn, Jen, Tami, & Kenya...Plus A Louis Vuitton Cake

Over the weekend, Shaunie O'Neal got her "Basketball Wives" castmates together to celebrate her birthday at the newly opened Philippe Miami on Ocean Drive.

Shaunie donned a cute black and sheer blush Renee London dress and black, red, and gold Giuseppe Zanotti slingbacks as she posed with a monogrammed Louis Vuitton cake and bottle of Ciroc (the sponsor of course.)  By the way, the Louis Vuitton Neverfull inspired cake was infused with Ciroc Coconut.  Yum!

Shaunie was joined by close friends and family as well as her castmates Tami Roman, Evelyn Lozada, Suzie Ketcham, Jennifer Williams and newbie Kenya Bell. Surprised no cake throwing ensued with all these frenemies in one place.

Guests enjoyed a menu of filet mignon, beijing chicken and spicy prawns, as well as Ciroc cocktails named in honor of Shaunie.  That's...special.  Happy b-day Shaunie. 

P.S.  The girls are still taping Season 4, which kicks off February 2012.

Sean Kingston Parties With His New Chick Maliah+Kobe NO LIKEY Lamar Odom's Late Night Trade To The MAVS!

Sean Kingston's still making a full recovery after that jet skiing accident...with his new chick Maliah Michel by his side to help.  The stripper turned Drake's girlfriend has clearly moved on with Sean.  And she brought the singer back to her hometown of Houston this weekend for a night of fun.

Friday night Maliah Michel celebrated her birthday Houston's Bambou club.  We're told her new booski Sean Kingston--who debuted homegirl at the recent American Music Awards--was hugged up on her the entire night.   The only separation between the two is when her stripper friends showered her with ones as she did a little strip tease for Sean.  Of course.

Apparently all the liquor-down-the-throat pouring and asstasticness on display caused her friends to scream out "Awwww" while Maliah and Sean snapped pics all night.  The "Beautiful Girls" singer pulled double duty and hosted a party at Houston's Club Venue last night too. Well isn't that....special.

"Love & Hip Hop's" Kimbella was there to party too.

And while you were partying your Saturday night away, Lamar Odom & his wife Khloe were packing his bags to head to Dallas, Texas!  A late night trade to the Mavs went down that surprised some folks--especially because he was just a hair away from being traded to the New Orleans Hornets just days before.

ESPN reports The Lakers pulled out the 3-way Houston/New Orleans/L.A. trade after talks failed a second time for them to get Chris Paul.  So they traded Lamar for a few bench players and draft picks.  And Kobe is pissed.  And has every right to be since Lamar is getting traded to the latest NBA championship team with lots of talent, when this was the exact complaint owners--like Maverick owner Mark Cuban--had about him being traded to the Lakers.

"I don't like it," Bryant said Sunday. "I've known Lamar for a long time, and for the team itself, he's meant a lot in terms of his versatility, his personality. He's a big presence for us in the locker room, just from a team chemistry standpoint. He's great at bringing guys together and things of that nature.

"I trust management knows what they're doing. I let them do their jobs, I never get in the way but it's tough. You're talking about sixth man of the year last year. He played lights out."

And if he thinks Lamar's reality shows and Hollywood life had anything to do with it:

"I don't understand the criticism of [the] reality shows. I don't get it. He had his best season last year. It clearly wasn't a distraction. He played his ass off. I don't get where that comes from."

It's pretty clear the big trade moves aren't over.  Stay tuned...
