Has Evelyn Lozada Been Offered Her Own E! Reality Show With Chad Ochocinco?

Proving she is not a "non-muthaf**king factor" like some other "Basketball Wives," sources close to Evelyn Lozado say the reality TV vixen is being courted by a rival cable network to star in a reality show about herself and her fiance Chad Ochocinco.  Get the deets inside...

 

Evelyn Lozado and Chad Ochocinco may be following in the footsteps of Khloe and Lamar Odom by starring in a reality show about their love life on E!.  Though we previously told you that Shaunie O'Neal said everyone will be back for season 3 of "Basketball Wives," TMZ says sources tell them that if/when Evelyn quits the show, E! is ready to snatch her up.

Sigh....this alleged "showmance" does seem to be doing great things for both of their TV careers.  Well, depends on your definition of "great" I guess....

But if/when they do walk down the aisle, don't expect the wedding to be soon or big.  Evelyn recently told PEOPLE,

"He has four kids. I have one. We want to be engaged for at least a year and enjoy our time with our children, and then we're going to plan our wedding.  I want something intimate. I'm 35, and we have five kids together. I don't want anything over the top."

Evelyn also told the mag it was Chad who helped her through a trying time after the season finale of "Basketball Wives" when she was attacked after revealing she had slept with Tami Roman's ex-husband.

"I was having a hard time [watching]," she says. "I have a lot of followers on Twitter, so everyone has an opinion on your life, and they think they know you. Some of the things they say are hurtful, but he made me keep it together. He's very supportive with everything."

Halle Berry received a very special award last night in Phoenix, AZ.  At Muhammad Ali's Celebrity Fight Night XVII at the JW Marriott Spa and Resort, Ms. Berry was recognized for all her charitable contributions.

Celebs swooned over Muhammad Ali at last night's charity event.  The annual event raises funds for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix. Fight Night contributed about $1.5 million to the center last year and has given more than $17 million to it since the charity event began 17 years ago.

Halle looked fabulous as usual in blue as she receievd an award for her work for the cause:

And across the country in NYC, Janet is doing book signings in between her Number One's tour cconcert dates in the City:

She popped up at the Barnes and Nobles on 5th Avenue this weekend to sign copies of her new book True You: A Guide To Loving Yourself for fans.

She was sitting pretty as usual.

BREAKING: Wyclef Jean Shot In Haiti

Singer Wyclef Jean, who's in Haiti to support presidential candidate Michel Martelly in today's elections, was shot in the hand last night around 11pm local time.  Deets inside...

 

Fugees leader Wyclef Jean, who recently performed a concert to show support for Haiti presidential candidate Michel Martelly, was shot in the hand last night around 11pm.

Joe Mignon, a senior program director for Wyclef’s Yele Foundation, confirmed to the Associate Press that Wyclef was in Delmas, Haiti when shot.  Wyclef's brother also confirms.  The "911" rapper has since been released from a local hospital and no additional details were provided. 

His fellow band member, Pras, tweeted about the shooting saying:

As the shooting comes on the eve of presidential elections, one has to wonder if it is somehow related to his support of Michel.

WHO'S MY DADDY?!

Guess which green-eyed Hollywood actor is the dad to this little munchkin spotted out in L.A. yesterday.

 

The answer when you read on...

It's actor Gary Dourdan!  Gary and his 9-year-old son Lyric were spotted out lunching in L.A. yesterday afternoon.  He shares Lyric with his former girlfriend named Cynthia.  And also has a young teen daughter named Nyla.

The 44-year-old dad had some Father-Son time at Urth Cafe.  He's also playing a chef in the upcoming dramadey Jumping The Broom starring Paula Patton, Angela Bassett, and Laz Alonso.  Cute!

Steve And Marjorie Harvey Host A Posh Benefit At Neiman Marcus, Mary Harvey Speaks At A Women's Luncheon

Steve Harvey and his wife Marjorie Harvey hosted a posh benefit at Neiman Marcus in Atlanta this week, and we have pics of all the beautiful people who came out inside.  Also, Mary Harvey is on the lecture circuit and we have pics from her event too.

 

Steve and Marjorie Harvey were co-chairs of the 5th Annual Fine Art + FASHION Show at Neiman Marcus to benefit the National Black Arts Festival (NBAF).  The event honored artists Radcliffe Bailey and Danny Simmons Jr., designer CD Greene, handbag designer Jada Loveless, plus emerging talents Azede Jean-Pierre, Nathaniel Keith and Stephanie Waldrip.

The couple posed with the very dapper lifestyle expert/stylist Stan Mukoro.

Former football star Jerome Bettis was there to support.

Radcliffe Bailey and Danny Simmons Jr posed together.

And Radcliffe posed with the lovely Victoria Rowell.

They were later joined by Rhonda Mims.

 

Actor Courtney B. Vance supported the cause as well.
 

In addition to cocktails and nibbles, the guests were treated to a pretty fashion show.

The mayor of Atlanta Kasim Reed said a few words during the event.

At the end of the evening, Steve and Marjorie celebrated with their guests and other event attendees.

 

And in other Harvey news...

Mary Harvey has been out and about on the lecture circuit. 

 

She posed with Oprah's boo Stedman Graham after speaking at The Jazz in the Gardens Women's Impact Luncheon at The Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa in Hollywood, Florida yesterday.  I can only imagine how this lil lecture went off.....
