Chris Brown Is A Ratings Hit For "DWTS" + Did Snoop Dogg Smooch A Mystery Woman At 3AM Concert!?

A little while ago, it kinda sucked to be Chris Brown.   But now...it seems like everything he touches turns to platinum...except for windows of course.  His recent performance on "DWTS" gave the show some of its best ratings yet. 

Get the deets inside, plus the scoop on Snoop Dogg and a mysterious woman he was spotted with...

 
As seen with the ratings increase for Tuesday's "DWTS" results show, Chris' performance gave the show record ratings.

With his appearance, "DWTS" got its best-ever season-opening results show ratings grabbing 19 million viewers, which was a 31% increase over the same week last year.

And he even got two standing ovations.

No surprise here.  ABC knew what they were doing when they decided to let him perform.

 
 
And over on NYC's lower east side...

Snoop Dogg gave a few hundred fans the shock of their lives when he showed up and gave a private concert late Tuesday night at the burlesque club The Box. Sources tell Page Six that the 3am set included hits like "Wet" and "Drop It Like It's Hot." 

The source also said that after the concert, Snoop retired to the VIP section while his guards used a curtain to shield the rapper from outside eyes as he allegedly smooched with a dark-haired lady who'd been dancing with him all night.

When someone asked him if he really planned to work with Charlie Sheen on his upcoming tour, he replied, "Yeaaaaaahh."

Apparently Snoop kept the party going until 6am before he left.

Mama Knows Best: Jim Jones' Mom Breaks It Down About Jealousy, Jim's Girlfriend Chrissy, And "Love & Hip Hop"

Jim Jones' mother, Nancy Jones aka Mama Jones, stopped by The Breakfast Club in NYC to discuss the show "Love & Hip Hop," her relationship with Chrissy (Jim's girlfriend), and about being a jealous mother. 

During the conversation she also dishes on Cam’ron, Snoop Dogg and her new career as a rapper (yeah you read that right) and fashion designer.  See the highlights inside...

 

Frankie 2.0-- Nancy Jones--stopped by The Breakfast Club for a fun interview that included many four-letter words and Nancy talking about her new clothing line that produces a t-shirt that reads, "I'm a psychotic b*tch."  See the highlights:

On protecting her son:

Nancy says she does not like ANYONE who dates her son.  She says she is a very protective mother.  "I'm kinda lika a jealous mom.  I want the best."  Nancy describes herself as a "psychotic mom" who will do anything to protect her babies.

On Jim's girlfriend Chrissy and the proposal:

When asked about Chrissy proposing to Jim on the show, Nancy's response was "Yea....she did.  Yea...she did."  She does add that Chrissy is a beautiful person but because of their personalities they often clash.  Nancy says no matter what, she need to understand I am numero uno.

On Jim Jone's party and being controlling:

She says the show doesn't show all the dynamics of her relationship with CHrissy.  Although it may look like she is disrespectful to Chrissy (especially at the party) Nancy says CHrissy is a tought woman.  "You can't just push her around." She says their relationship is very up and down.

On rumors of Jim Jones' father surfacing up on a hip hop blog:

Nancy got very upset when they began to talk about the man posing as Jim's father on another hip hop site.  She said, "I was so pi**sed off about that.  I said he don't even look Puerto Rican.  I would not ever f**k nothing like that.  He's lying."  LAWD.  She says that Jim did have a relationship with his dad, whom has since passed away.

On Jim and Cam'ron back togeher again:

She says she is very excited that the two are back working together.  "It's a beautiful thing to me." 

On her rap career:

Nancy has a new single called "Psychotic."  She says the song is hot and she is rapping.  She says she wants to reach out to Snoop Dogg and work with him.

On the women of "Love & Hip Hop":

She says Somaya is her favorite female on the show. "She's a beautiful person and I really like it."  Alrighty then...

On Frankie:

When the name Frankie (Keyshia Cole's mom) is brought up, Nancy says she couldn't see the two of them hanging together or being friends. REALLY?

On her clothing line:

She has a new clothing line called "Dipwear" as well as a few other projects in the fashion industry.  She decided to start Dipwear in honor of her son.

On her love life:

Nancy revealed that she is married.  Her husband calls her Lucy and she calls him Ricky Ricardo.

Jay-Z & Ciara Hit The Knicks Game+Dominique Wilkins ATTACKED After Hawks Game!

The Knicks got back on their winning game last night as they beat the Nets by 4 at Madison Square Garden.  And Ciara and Lala's cousin Dice were courtside watching the fellas duke it out.

 

Pics of Jay-Z and Questlove taking in the game, plus crazy news about Dominique Wilkins getting attacked over suit money after the Hawks game, when you read on....

Ci looked cute in painted on jeans and an exaggerated shoulder military jacket and her sky-high black Louboutin pumps.

Jay-Z was there to cheer on his own team the Nets.

And even drummer Questlove kicked it at the game and with the Knick dancers.

NBA legend Dominique Wilkins, who is the 51-year-old VP of the Hawks, got into a bit of trouble last night.  He was attacked by a former NBA referee and former owner of a suit store--all because the retired star allegedly owed him money for some suits.  Yes, suits.  Apparently, while Dominique was meeting and mingling fans after he did some tv work right after the game, the assailant popped off and attempted to attack him.

Rashan S. Michel, 36, was arrested and charged with one count of simple battery following the incident.  And he also got his face beat in too.

NBA.com's Sekou Smith tweeted that Wilkins got in three "solid" punches during the brief fight, while his assailant landed none.  Rashan's face looks a damn mess.  What's REALLY hood in the ATL?  We tryin' to beat folks down over money owed for some suits?  In public?  AND YOU get beat up instead?  I can't.

 

 

Carmelo Anthony, LaLa Vazquez Anthony And Kiyan Celebrate Carmelo's BoostMobile Ad

Yesterday, Carmelo Anthony traveled down to 33rd and 9th ave in NYC for the debut of his larger-than-life 127 foot BoostMobile Ad.  We have pics of the big reveal inside along with great family photos of Carmelo enjoying the moment with LaLa and Kiyan.

 

The Anthonys got together yesterday to celebrate the reveal of a huge new billboard and ad campaign for BoostMobile that features NY Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony.

 

LaLa tweeted a pic of her man getting his grown and sexy on as they chilled in a double-decker bus that would give them a better view of the ad.

LaLa tweeted: Grown man swag! On our way to the unveiling of Mels billboard in NYC..congrats Mel!! Proud of u!"

Eva was every bit the blonde Diva as she hit the streets of Beverly Hills yesterday in this look.  She dressed up her casual long distressed denim shorts and simple tank and striped cardi with attention grabbing red Versus suede platform sandals--complete with lots of chain detail.  And she matched her Louis Vuitton belt to her fave LV Sequin Fleur de Jais Speedy 30 bag.

Jim Jones Released From Custody + Jalen Rose Apologizes For Lapse In Judgment

Jim Jones' attorney has provided an update about the status of his client and we have it for you inside.  Also, Jalen Rose has posted an apology to his fans on Facebook and you can read it after the jump...

 

We told you earlier that Jim Jones was in custody for driving with a suspended license, now we can report that he has been released.

According to his attorney, Jim was released out of custody this afternoon and given a desk appearance ticket.

 

 

And in sports.......
 

Jalen Rose has apologized for drunk driving and what he calls a lapse in judgment to his fans on Facebook.  He said:

I apologize to my family, my employer and each and every one of my supporters for my lapse in judgment. I am particularly sorry for disappointing those who trust me to serve as a role model for young people.

I accept full responsibility for my actions and look forward to a resolution of the legal matter as soon as possible.

It's good to see he is accepting responsibility.

REALITY TV FAB: LisaRaye & Toni Braxton Hit The Town To Promote Their Reality Shows

Two of your fave YBF chicks, Toni Braxton and LisaRaye, were out promoting their upcoming reality shows recently and we have the fab pics of both ladies inside.

 

Toni Braxton worked it out in her sexy hot pink dress.  She looked stunning earlier today when she stopped by the 2011 Lindt Gold Bunny Celebrity Auction Kick-Off.

The auction was held at the Lindt Chocolate Shop in NYC and like a true diva, she did a wardrobe change.

But it wasn't just bout the chocolate eggs for Toni, she was also there to promotes her new reality show "Braxton Family Values" we told you about.


 

Toni's had a rough battle recently with the cancer, debt, and divorce....but she still looks fab.

I wonder if she took home a few chocolate bunnies for her boys Denim and Diesel?

"Braxton Family Values" premieres Tuesday, April 12 on WEtv.

 

And coming soon to TVOne....

The woman with a white outfit for every occasion, LisaRaye, is prepping for the start of "LisaRaye: The Real McCoy" Season 2.

Chick's skin is flawless.


 

She was in Atlanta where she stopped by the "Steve Harvey Morning Show" to announce that season 2 of her show starts on April 7.  She posed with Carla Ferrell, Steve Harvey, Shirley Strawberry and Thomas Miles.

She also has a second series she will star in called "Single Ladies" on Vh1 along with Stacey Dash.  That show begins on April 7th on VH1.  Was this pose really necessary though Ms. Raye?

And Lisa was all smiles as she left the studio.  She has a lot to be happy about these days.  With two shows on the air at the same time, seems like her comeback is official.  Well....you know what I mean....

We've just learned that rapper Jim Jones was arrested a short while ago.  Deets inside....

 

TMZ reports that rapper Jim Jones was arrested earlier today in NYC for driving with a suspended license.  At present time he is still in custody.

Jim Jones Talks "Love & Hip Hop", Marrying Chrissy, And His Nearly Fatal Car Accident

When rapper Jim Jones stopped by Richmond's Power 92.1 to promote his new album, he opened up about his new Capo album dropping April 5th, his near death experience, and about his relationship with Chrissy Lampkin on "Love And Hip Hop."  See the highlights inside.....

 

Jim Jones called into TT Torrez's show on 92.1 to chat about his upcoming album Capo being released April 5th and his take on marriage and reality tv.  Here are the highlights:

On getting Prodigy on his upcoming album:
Jim said he and Prodigy have mutual friends so it was easy to contact him.  But he added, Prodigy had a curfew (before being released from a half-way house) and would come to the studio to record at 7 in the morning.
 

On his album Capo:
He wishes he could have pushed the release date back to promote it a little more, but industry politics got in the way.
 

On why Dipset broke up:
He said they were like siblings - and siblings fight. But now they’re working on a Dipset tour.
 

On getting into car accident:
He was involved in a car accident on the Virginia state line while coming from North Carolina. He says he should have died but God surrounded him with angels and now he sees life differently. 

On whether he and Chrissy are getting married:
"You have to watch the show." Oh Jimmy....

On if we’ll see anything sexual poppin’ off between him and Chrissy on the show:
He said they’re not doing anything sexual...on television. [laughs]
 

On if he ever slept with Somaya Reese:
His answer was no...in a suspiciously roundabout way.  He semi-joked, “Tell your Twitter follower to find the highest building in Virginia and jump.”
  

On how he deals with Chrissy and his mother not getting along:
He said it's tough dealing with them not getting along.

On his reaction when Chrissy proposed to him:
He was definitely surprised and he "tips his hat to her."

On if he thinks Somaya can rap and if Olivia can sing:
[laughs] He said he has no opinion on Somaya and he’s not trying to interrupt anyone’s hustle. He said, however, Olivia can definitely sing. *eyebrows raised*
