SPORTS: Robert Griffin III Wins The 2011 Heisman Trophy!

Last night, Robert Griffin III, a quarterback for Baylor University, was awarded the 2011 Heisman Trophy. A feat not often accomplished by black college players.  Get the deets on this talented and smart YBF man inside.....

After grabbing 405 first-place votes, Robert Griffin III became the first Baylor University player to win the Heisman Trophy last night. He said,

"This is unbelievably believable. It's unbelievable because in the moment we're all amazed when great things happen. But it's believable because great things don't happen without hard work. The great [Baylor] coach Art Briles always says great things only come with great effort. We've certainly worked for this. That's right -- everybody associated with Baylor University has a reason to celebrate tonight."

And the folks at Baylor are certainly happy since this has been their best football season since 1994.

USAToday said,

"Griffin had a superhero of a season. He led the No. 16 Bears (9-3) to their most wins in 25 years and their second consecutive bowl game after a 16-year postseason drought. He also brought one of the Big 12's most downtrodden programs into national prominence. Before RG3, the Bears were at or near the bottom of the Big 12 standings most years and never had a winning record in the league. In one of the greatest seasons in school history, the Bears beat Oklahoma for the first time ever and finished with an emphatic victory over Texas."

And Robert is more than a good athlete, he's smart too. He made the honor roll every semester and finished his degree in political science in three years! And if that isn't sexy enough, he's getting his master's degree in communications in the spring and applying to Baylor law school.

So what about going pro? The son of two army sergeants (he was born in Japan and moved several places before settling in Texas) said, "If the NFL comes knocking, I'm pretty sure you're answering that door."

Chad Ochocinco BUYS Evelyn Lozada A Maserati For Her Birthday + Evelyn THROWS SHADE At Jennifer Williams!?

Reality tv money must be pretty nice these days as Evelyn Lozada has been rolling about in some high priced luxury cars recently, including a new Maserati her fiance Chad Ochocinco bought her.  See the pics inside and decide if she threw shade at frenemy Jennifer Williams.

If you'd like to know what kind of birthday gifts Chad Ochocinco gives out, his fiancee Evelyn recently tweeted about the new car he gave her....

 

And if that wasn't enough, he recently took her on a scavenger hunt too....

 

She said, "Okay tweeps! Here's what my boo has me rolling in for my scavenger hunt! Let the party begin!"

 

And while partying with one of her girlfriends, a "tweeter" remarked that the chick looked like Jennifer....but Evelyn shut that down!

Umm.....she does kinda look like Jen though.

Vanessa & Angela Simmons Get Cute For 'Pastry Lite' Collection + Jennifer Hudson Radies For Holiday At The White House

Last night, Vanessa and Angela Simmons launched a new shoe collection with a fab party attended by Jackie Christie and Nick Cannon. See their pics inside and see Jennifer Hudson arriving in Washington, D.C.

Angela and Vanessa Simmons threw on their skates and hosted the launch of the 'Pastry Lite Shoe Collection' at the Moonlight Rollerway in Glendale last night.

The ladies' makeup was flawless.

And while Vanessa wore a sexy black outfit, Angela went all out and rocked a pink tank, hued high-waisted floral tulle skirt, and striped thigh high socks.

 

The fab sisters kicked it with Nick Cannon who helped them collect toys for charity.

The "First Lady Of The NBA" Jackie Christie came out to support.  Her words...not ours.

Comedienne Luenell was also there.

And Nick also posed with Chi Towns Finest Breakers who later entertained the crowd.

Recording artists Hot Sauce and The New Boys came out too. 

 

And in Washington D.C.:

Jennifer Hudson was spotted arriving at an airport in Washington, D.C. yesterday.  Hopefully she just stepped off a photoshoot before boarding that plane because this makeup isn't doing her justice for an everyday look.

 

Jennifer is in town to perform in front of the Obamas at the annual "Christmas In Washington" concert which airs on Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. on TNT.

1.  The Sparkle movie just got an official release date of August 10th, 2012.

Mariah Flaunts Her New Bod In London, Cops Nobel Gift

Mariah showed off her 70 pound weight loss in London over the weekend.  She donned a slinky red floor length evening gown--which is clearly becoming her favorite look--to receive her Nobel Gift.  And even spent the afternoon signing autographs for fans beforehand.

The Jenny spokeswoman repped the weight loss company to he fullest yesterday as she arrived to the annual Noble Gift Gala at the Dorchester Hotel in London.  MiMi was on hand to receive the 2011 Noble Gift Humanitarian Award for her efforts in helping disadvantaged children.

The Noble Gift Gala is an event that pays 'tribute to those who help support and foster awareness for children and the empowerment of women around the world.'

She went solo dolo to the affair where Eva Longoria presented her with the award for her charity work. 

And before the big gala, Mrs. Cannon was spotted arriving to the Dorchester where she was also staying and was mobbed by fans.  So she stopped for an impromptu autograph session:
