Karrueche Tran's DAY OF SERVICE In Atlanta...Whle Chris & Rihanna COLLABO On A NEW SONG Posted: 21 Jan 2013 09:11 AM PST "The Kill" designer Karrueche Tran participated in the MLK Day of Service in Atlanta recently where she offered advice and words of encouragment to a group of kids. See pics inside and BTS photos from her ROLLING OUT interview.
While in Atlanta promoting her clothing line, "The Kill" Karrueche Tran participated in the MLK Day of Service. She visited the Agape Community Center's “Page Turners Make Great Learners” event, where she dropped off toys to the kids ages 5 to 11. Karrueche also read “The Bernstein Bears: Blaze A Trail” while there. She tweeted, "I made a promise to do something to give back in ATL before I left..." and she did!
Also..... Karrueche sat down with Tiny Harris' hair stylist Shekinah for an interview that will be featured in ROLLING OUT Magazine. We're sure that will be full of "genius".... The ladies chatted about her clothing line, some of her favorite things to wear, her time in Atlanta and how she's stepping out of Chris Brown's shadow. Karrueche's interview and Yoko Ono inspired photoshoot will soon hit the stands in an upcoming issue of ROLLING OUT. And while Karrueche is working on "The Kill," the streets are buzzing that Chris and Rihanna are working each other...in the studio. The pair have linked up again to record a new song and were seen leaving the studio "separately" on Thursday before winding up at Chris' mansion. Their reps confirmed to E! News that a fourth collaboration between the two is indeed being worked on. Sigh.
BONUS: Rihanna posted a few new pics to her Instangram account where she said, "Lights. Camera. Action." With her #modelbehavior, it looks like RiRi is working on a new video (possibly "Pour It Up") or a magazine shoot.
We also know RiRi is also getting ready for London Fashion Week in February where she will debut the collection she designed for River Island. Photos via ROLLING OUT |
WATCH President Barack Obama's 2013 Inauguration NOW! (Live Stream) Posted: 21 Jan 2013 08:21 AM PST President Barack Obama has officially made his entrance on the US Capitol steps as we kick off the 2013 Inauguration. We've got the live stream and deets inside.... The live stream is below: President Barack Obama, who will be using both Martin Luther King, Jr.'s bible (in recognition of today's MLK birthday observance) and President Abe Lincoln's bible for his swearing in today, tweeted this morning, "I'm honored and grateful that we have a chance to finish what we started. Our work begins today. Let's go. -bo" And he made a dapper entrance in his dark blue suit and light blue tie at the US Capitol just minutes ago. First Lady Michelle looks simply stunning in her Thom Browne coat dress and she has swapped her J.Crew heels or knee high boots as it's pretty chilly in D.C. today. The Obama daughters, also in J.Crew, have already made their entrance as they rock blue and purple looks. Celeb spottings so far: Beyonce & Jay-Z, Marlon Wayans, and Omar Epps. And we can't be the only ones who caught Jesse Jackson's fresh perm. Just sayin'.... |
INAUGURATION DAY: The Obamas Make a FABULOUS Pre-Inauguration Stop At Church Posted: 21 Jan 2013 07:58 AM PST It's about that time! President Barack Obama, accompanied by his daughters Sasha and Malia, First Lady Michelle Obama and mother-in-law Marian Robinson, were spotted arriving at St. John's Church this morning before the Inauguration event begins. We've got the pics and the fab designers the First Fam is rocking inside.... It's his second Inaugural event...and all the pomp and circumstance has just begun. But before the Prez takes the stage on the Capitol steps within the next hour, he made sure to take his family to church. We all need a little Jesus these days. First Lady Michelle is keeping it All American, obviously, today rocking a blue Thom Browne A-Line perfectly tailored coat with light grey J.Crew kitten heeled pumps.
Sasha & Malia both rocked looks from J.Crew as well. And the President is looking quite dapper color coordinating with the fam in his suit and baby blue tie. As we type, the Obamas are entering the Capitol as the Inauguration ceremony begins.
Last night: FLOTUS rocked a black sequins Michael Kors dress for a fab night out at an inaugural reception for the 57th Presidential Inauguration at The National Building Museum. Our First Couple greeted Vice President Joe Biden and Jill Biden before they spoke to supporters and donors in DC:
Flawless. Stay tuned for the live stream of Inauguration 2013.... Pics: AP |
Posted: 21 Jan 2013 07:11 AM PST It may be MLK Day and Inauguration Day...but the foolishness doesn't stop. We've got baby mama drama from Mathew Knowles and Chief Keef inside.. Mathew Knowles' baby mama (yeah, the woman he knocked up while he was married to Beyonce & Solange's mom Tina) feels threatened by Mr. Knowles. And she's asking for HIM to pay more in child support in order to protect her baby....from him. TMZ reports that Alexsandra Wright claims she received a letter from Pappy Knowles back in September 2011 saying, "You hurt my family. There's a price to pay." So...she's worried that their 2-year-old son they have together, Nixon, is in danger. Interestingly, she wants Mat himself to up his $12K/month child support payments to cover a "secure, private school." And since Mat's income has drastically decreased since Beyonce fired him last year, the judge may shoot down extra expenses and actually LOWER his payments. He has been paying his support faithfully and claims he didn't agree to the school payments because they "didn't agree" on a school. Meanwhile, Mathew showed up at the Stellar Awards in Nashville this weekend. And even snapped a pic with former-now-reunited Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams as she did her hosting duties. Guess they're still cool....
In other baby mama drama news, 17-year-old "I Don't Like" rapper Chief Keef is caught up in some ish. The controversial dude, who folks blame for keeping the culture of violence alive in his hometown of Chicago, has been accused of impregnating a middle schooler. The name or exact age of the middle school girl is unknown, but she has filed a petition in Chicago's family court saying Keith Cozart--Keef's real name--is the father of her baby girl back in 2011. She could have been anywhere from 6th grade (12/13 years old) to 8th grade when getting pregnant, and Keef would have been about 15 at the time. And yes, this still counts as "criminal sexual abuse" in Chicago since both parties are between 9 and 17 years old. Keef will likely only face charges on that if the girls' parents press charges. Reports state, "The girl is suing Keef for an undisclosed amount of child support, including health insurance and other medical expenses." Chile....

But just a few days before, she dished on how exactly she was preparing for this monumental occasion, if she's chosen her designer, and how she's getting rid of the nerves.
Check it inside, plus some GQ outtakes and audio of her soundcheck... GQ Magazine's Most Beautiful Woman of the Century is prepping for one of this century's biggest moments. It's official. President Barack Obama formally kicked off his second term as President of the United States on Sunday afternoon. And we've got the pics of his swearing in ceremony with the First Fam, plus celebs celebrating Inauguration Weekend at The Root Ball, inside... With his fab wife Michelle Obama and daughters Sasha & Malia as witnesses, Prez O was officially sworn-in by Chief Justice John Roberts in the Blue Room of the White House during the 57th Presidential Inauguration in Washington, Sunday.
