VIDEOS: Kanye Debuts "New Slaves" Guerrilla Style On the Streets Of 10 Cities + J.Lo's New "Live It Up" Video Posted: 18 May 2013 07:09 AM PDT The night before he's set to take the stage at the season finale of "SNL," Kanye West debuted a new song and video--guerrilla style--in 10 cities across the globe.  Check out his conscious rap "New Slaves" and how he delivered it, plus Jennifer Lopez's new video for "Live It Up"... Kanye sent out a tweet yesterday announcing his new video saying: “NEW SONG AND VISUAL FROM MY NEW ALBUM BEING PROJECTED TONIGHT ACROSS THE GLOBE ON 66 BUILDINGS, LOCATIONS @ KANYEWEST.COM." And over at his website, he provided a map of all the places in every city that the song and visual would be projected.  So in the U.S., Europe and Australia, Kanye debuted "New Slaves" for the world. Why did he choose this way and no official Youtube release?  Well, we picked out a few lyrics from his rap (that we're loving by the way) that may explain.  Yeezy is on a f*ck the corporations tip.  And he's doing things his way.  This means that instead of being a "slave" to corporations like Youtube or advertisers or his label, he's simply showcasing his music where, when and how he wants to.  And this time, he projected it on buildings....likely with no permits or anything. Gotta love the rawness. Here's a few lyrics where he discusses new age racism and new age slavery.  With seemingly complete opposite beliefs than his girlfriend, Kanye is speaking against people being slaves to businesses, corporations, publicity, societal pressures and their own minds: "My mama was raised in the era when, clean water was only served to the fairer skin." "Used to only be n*ggas, now everybody playing.  Spending everything on Alexander Wang, new slaves." "There's leaders, there's followers.  I'd rather be a d*ck than a swallower." "I move my family out the country so y'all can't see where I stay." "They tryna to lock n*ggas up, The tryna to make new slaves, That's that provate pwned prison, get your piece today.  They probably all in the Hamptons all bragging about what they made, f*ck you and your Hampton house, I f*cked your Hampton spouse." Toward the end of the song he breaks out singing.  And after the verse, the video plays with his face on the screen for another minute, likely for a powerful effect.  Check out a capture from one of the NYC locations below: Reportedly, his newest project (a follow up album to My Dark & Twisted Fantasy), will drop June 18th.   In other videos, the sexy Jennifer Lopez released her "Live It Up" video ft. Pitbull.  She shot it on Miami Beach this month and model Eva Marcille also makes an appearance.  Check out the sexy summer-ready visuals below:  The RedOne-produced dance track "Live It Up" will appear on her yet-to-be-titled album dropping later this year.

Beyonce's Pregnancy Mystery Continues... Posted: 18 May 2013 06:29 AM PDT The mystery surrounding Beyonce's reported second pregnancy is becoming more odd by the hour.  He own "sis" Kelly Rowland seemed to not know she was pregnant when paparazzi asked her about it on the street yesterday.  And a member of Bey's crew has also semi-denied the rumors.  But there's still reason to believe it could all very well be true....   Kelly Rowland answered with a confused "What?!" yesterday when TMZ's paparazzi asked how she felt about Beyonce's new pregnancy.  She could have been playing it off, but we've seen her acting skills.  So either she honestly didn't know or her "act surprised" act bombed.  Because something seemed totally off here: Then Beyonce's Graphic Designer, Matthew, RT'd a fan last night who said, "Bey definitely isn't pregnant.  She is posting videos and pictures and sh*t.  Kween is UNBOTHERED." Oddly, he deleted the RT 15 minutes after, but everyone saw it.  So was he trying to make an official denial on Bey's behalf?  Or did he find out the actual truth and then decided to erase the fan's comment? E! Online, who originally confirmed the news via multiple sources, is sticking by their story.  They also said late last night that a source told them her pregnancy should not affect her North American tour dates. And Jay's friends like Russell Simmons and the company he partly owns, Carol's Daughter, have all tweeted an official Congratulations. KID FAB: Reginae Carter GRADUATES From Middle School, Lil' Wayne & Toya Wright CELEBRATE + Reggie Bush & Lilit Avagyan Reveal Baby Name Posted: 17 May 2013 05:58 PM PDT Lil' Wayne, Birdman and Toya Wright all turned up to watch Reginae Carter graduated middle school.  See the pics inside and find out what Reggie Bush named his baby girl.  Reginae Carter, the daughter of hip-hop king Lil' Wayne and Toya Wright is growing up!  The Paparazzi Princesses author AND honor roll student graduated from middle school this week with her mom, Toya Wright and dad, Lil' Wayne there to cheer her on.  Proud mama Toya shared a few pics on instagram of her mom, Wayne's mom and family friends saying, "I'm so proud of my angel. Honor Roll student on her way to highschool. Beauty and Brains. #proudmama" Memphitz was there to cheer on Reginae as well. And taking a page out of Russell and Kimora's blended family book, everyone got together and posed for a great family photo: Lil' Wayne, Toya, Birdman (with daughter Bria and son Bryan) and Memphitz.   And in baby news.... As we previously reported, Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush and his fiancee Lilit Avagyan welcomed a beautiful baby girl recently.  And now, we've learned her name -- Briseis. If you're wondering where he got the name from, Reggie explained it to Life & Style, "It's Greek. We were watching the movie Troy and my fiancée, who was my girlfriend at the time, said, 'If we ever have a daughter, can we name her that?' And a couple of months later, wouldn't you know! The name was picked out months before she was even thought about. It's crazy." And the first-time father also revealed that he went through a range of emotions on May 6, the day Briseis was born. "I was nervous, I was excited, I was scared, I was happy. Every emotion possible was running through me. And then you're like, 'I can't believe this is my baby.' It was really emotional when I was first holding her." Now that he and Lilit has a bundle of joy...things have changed.  When asked how fatherhood has changed him, he told L&S, "It has grounded me more. When you have a child, everything you do is about them," he confides. "You're thinking about your child first. Everything. It's grounded me a lot more." Congrats to the happy couple.

Zoe Saldana Reveals Why She Chooses Hard Work Over 'Sleeping Her Way To the Top' -- "There's Always A Producer To Shag!" Check out what she revealed to the crowd about passing her hard work ethic down to her niece, why she doesn't accept small money, and why she never wants to retire...   The 34-year-old beauty has been making major promo rounds lately for the new Star Trek flick.  And TheYBF.com hit up the intimate Q&A session & screener in NYC last night where Zoe dished training hard for her role as Uhura and why she'll never stop working.  And she'll keep rocking these blockbuster films until it doesn't make her happy anymore. "I never want to retire," Zoe told the crowd. "What am I going to do, gardening? I want to keep growing, I'll always need to learn something, someone will always want me to teach them something. I'm always going to be evolving in my career. Right now, I've finally found something that makes me happy. I've been doing this for over 10 years and it makes me happy. And the moment this business doesn't make happy, I am going to do something else." Zoe doesn't believe in the word "celebrity" because she works her ass off for what she gets.  And she's not going the easy route of some "celebs" and sleeping with a producer for the role.  "Words like celebrity don't exist.  If you're in it for game, get out of it. It's always a producer to shag." She also spoke about who she would groom in this business--and it's her niece. But Zoe's not tolerating any slacking whatsoever.  And no small wages for hard work. She said: "I have a 10 year old niece so I would want to share with her and hope she got good experiences out if it.  I'm very Latino. And [the reputation of us] working for 40 years like an animal and getting a 14 year old's wage is old. It's capitalism. We've been somebody since the day we were born. You can be anybody. You are just one person and you're unique. If my niece one day wants to be an actress, she will work her ass off. I work my ass off.  And when I get freebies, I deserve them." Well said Zoe. MAGAZINE FAB: Dwyane Wade Speaks To JET About His Custody Battle & Relationship With Ex-Wife Siovaughn Posted: 17 May 2013 02:21 PM PDT In the latest issue of JET, Miami Heat baller Dwyane Wade opens up about raising his sons and tells how his drama-filled custody battle put a strain on his co-parenting relationship with ex-wfe Siohvaughn Funches.  We can only imagine.  See the highlights inside:   After penning a successful memoir on parenting, A FATHER FIRST: How My Life Became Bigger than Basketball, and starring in DOVE's "Men+Care" Fatherhood Campaign, Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade opened up to JET Magazine this week about the life experiences that shaped his parenting.  And his cover shot looks damn good. From his prolonged custody battle, to his mom's addiction to heroin and alcohol, the gold-medal winning athlete gets candid about his role as a full-time dad.  Here are the highlights: Wade on his reason for pushing through the difficult custody battle: “I didn’t set out to get full custody but I wasn’t able to see my kids the way I wanted and I’m not a parent who’s going to run away from his responsibilities. I was probably a terrible husband, but I pride myself on being a good dad.” Wade on his rocky relationship with estranged ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches: “It’s been six years and hopefully one day she and I can get to the point where it’s a lot easier than it is now to co-parent.” Mom Jolinda Wade on how Dwyane's dad impacted his fathering: "Dwyane came up not having a father around, so he didn’t think he was missing anything. But having his father take over the key role in parenting was very impactful. That was the first view he got as a young man to see what to do and what not to do.” Dwyane on his fathering skills of his two sons Zaire, 11, and Zion, 5 and nephew Dahveon Morris, 11 (who he has legal guardianship of): “I’m the kind of parent who asks my kids questions like what would be your ideal thing to do in the summer? This year it’s Disney World,” explains Wade, the proud father of two boys. Even though I make the final decision, I want them to feel involved. Not only in vacations but other things as well.”   Elsewhere in the issue, JET talks to rapper Eve about her long-awaited Lip Lock album and romance to UK millionaire Maximillion Cooper. "Scandal" Season Finale Breaks Its Own Ratings Record + Kerry Washington & Shonda Rhimes ATTEND "An Evening With Scandal" Posted: 17 May 2013 01:26 PM PDT Kerry Washington was joined by series creator Shonda Rhimes and her fellow "Scandal" co-stars for "An Evening With Scandal" last night.  Get the deets on the series pulling off its best ratings yet inside....   Last night, Kerry Washington (shown above with co-star Jeff Perry aka meanie Cyrus) attended "An Evening With Scandal" presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood last night.  Our fave fashionista "fixer" wore a pink sleeveless frock with a cute bow at the waist. Meanwhile, series creator and head writer Shonda Rhimes wore a stylish blue coat as she celebrated what became the series' best night ever!  Last night's season finale (that had us laid out with multiple wine bottles and a racing pulse) became the series' most watched episode, easily winning its time slot and reaching an all-time high in each of the key women's demographic groups (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54). Also, the show ended the season as ABC's most social program with over 4.3 million tweets. The season finale had over 571,353 tweets alone (the highest of any episode)! TV personality Shaun Robinson turned up in a sexy hot pink frock. And the season finale's breakout star, Joe Morton, (whom you may remember as Sen. Byron Douglas from "A Different World") was all smiles.  We're sure Joe knows that his name is on the tip of everyone's tongue today.  And every Scandal fan knows why....

Beyoncé Knowles REPORTEDLY PREGNANT With Her Second Child, Sources Confirm! Posted: 17 May 2013 12:29 PM PDT The rumor mill has been extra busy for the last couple of weeks about Beyoncé Knowles being "with child" for the second time.  No credible reports backed the rumor....until now.   Check out the latest allegations about there being a new baby Carter on the way.... Well, well, well.  There goes the weekend and all other news.  We held off on co-signing the rumor previously because there were no credible source confirming, and Bey's camp is tighter than f'in Fort Knox with their secrets.  But now, there's one. According to E! News, Beyoncé is pregnant again!  The website reports this afternoon: Superstar supermom Beyoncé is expecting her second child with hubby Jay-Z, multiple sources exclusively confirm to E! News. In a recent interview with ABC News during her press event for her upcoming animated flick EPIC, Beyonce--who's pictured above a few minutes ago backstage at her concert stop in Zurich--said she definitely wants more kids.  And she said the couple's baby girl Blue Ivy needs some company.  But when she was asked about when exactly she would be popping out another kid, she remained coy, giggled and said, "It'll happen when it's supposed to happen." Was that a clue?  Hmmm. Her recent tour stop cancellation in Belgium for "dehydration & exhaustion" raised even more eyebrows.  Especially because she's never cancelled a performance in her entire career. All we want to know is, will this chick be 6-7 months pregnant trying to shake her way to being Independent and trying to Upgrade folks at her Brooklyn tour stop in August?  Because aint nobody got time for that!  We want the full fledged stage-takeover that she always brings. The couple's good friend Russell Simmons also tweeted a congratulatory message to them.  We would hope Russ would have hit Jay on the hip first before tweeting.  But who knows. HUNG LOW: Rihanna NEARLY LOSES Her Pants, SUES Topshop For $5 Million For Selling Her Image + Nicki Minaj Names Cyndi Lauper As Her STYLE IDOL In TEEN VOGUE Cover Shoot BTS Footage Posted: 17 May 2013 11:37 AM PDT As her team handles a $5 million lawsuit against Topshop, Rihanna was seen struggling with her ultra-revealing pants during a peek-a-boo stroll through New York last night. Get the legal deets inside and watch footage from Nicki Minaj's TEEN VOGUE spread....   Rihanna was seen heading back to her hotel room in NYC last night.  Wearing a tight pair of black leather trousers with a midriff baring top, Riri was forced to adjust and re-adjust her pants so photographers wouldn't get a shot of her goodies. But bare booty views aren't the only struggles facing the pop starlet.  As her "Styled To Rock" show comes over to the States, her legal team is  embroiled in a nasty $5 Million lawsuit with Topshop. It seems the company is making a ton of money selling t-shirts with her image on them...without her permission.   A source close to the situation says negotiations between the company and Rihanna started out friendly...but took a dive once they only offered her $5K.  Insulting! Her camp turned down the offer and Topshop ignored the rejection and sold the t-shirts anyway!  They essentially told her they would do whatever the hell the please.  Now...Riri wants them to pay up. The source told Page Six, “Rihanna’s management asked Topshop a number of times to stop selling her image and were told, ‘We do what we want.’ They buy the pictures from a photographer, but they do not pay the artist licensing fees. Unfortunately, UK law does not protect the artist.  What is most offensive for Rihanna is that they basically told her, ‘Go to hell. We don’t care; we are going to continue selling you.’ But fans of Rihanna shouldn't expect to get their hands on any of those shirts here in the States. The source added, "Topshop is now in the United States. They set up in Manhattan and Nordstrom, but they know better than to do this in the US because they would get in trouble.” For their part, Topshop isn't admitting any wrongdoing.  In fact....they seem to pass the buck off on the supplier (though they did CHOOSE to sell the shirts). A rep said, “This issue is related to a T-shirt provided to Topshop by a third-party supplier. We are aware it is the subject of litigation. [There are] public documents." We bet chick gets her money.  We'll let you know how that turns out....     And on magazine stands..... Glowing mom-to-be Monica walked to the screening of "Fast & Furious 6" on the arms of her NBA baller husband Shannon Brown last night. We love how Shannon, who plays for the Phoenix Suns, made sure his t-shirt matched the color scheme of his wife's gorgeous maternity gown. The exclusive screening followed a private dinner for Ludacris' girlfriend Eudoxie. Of course....Luda kept the party well-liquored up with Conjure.   Ludacris' mom came out to see the film and support her son. Monica's girl Toya Wright was there looking cute. Hot look! Plus "Splash" star Keshia Knight Pulliam hung out with her bestie, AJ Crimson beauty spokemodel and singer LeToya Luckett.  LeToya and Luda also posed with V103 personality Big Tigger on the red carpet.  And daddy duty was in full effect. COUPLEDOM: Cassie Shows How She & Diddy Put In Work In The Studio + Rita Ora On A Date Night...With Producer Calvin Harris Posted: 17 May 2013 09:46 AM PDT Earlier this week, singer Rita Ora became the latest singer chick to get the free 99 discount on her music tracks.  Because she and Scottish super DJ & producer Calvin Harris have gone public with their couple status.  The two were spotted out on another date last night in London, and we've got video of Cassie & Diddy putting in work... Rita Ora, rocking a red strapless Vivienne Westwood gown last night, may be hoping to get a mega hit record that will officially put her on the map as a pop star (instead of the fashionable socialite people end up marking her as).  Because she's now dating the same producer/DJ, Calvin Harris, who created one of Rihanna's biggest hits "We Found Love".  He's known for his own electro-dance songs, and produces hits for folks like Kylie Minogue.  And now, Rita Ora's dating him. The two were spotted out in the UK last night celebrating Calvin's big win as Songwriter of the Year at the Ivor Novello Awards.  Rita, who was just given a $760,000 contract to become the new face of Madonna's "Material Girl" clothing line, posted a pic of him holding his award saying: "Ivor novello's eh? Songwriter of the year. No big deal just pretty f****** awesome!! @calvinharris :))))". Earlier this week when they popped up holding hands for the first time at Daft Punk's album release, Rita told her "X Factor" contestant friend Kye Sones that her relationship was "brilliant."  Good PR usually is...     In other couples news involving singing chicks and their producer boyfriends, Cassie released the second part of her video of behind the scenes footage of how she made her RockAByeBaby mixtape (available now).
