ACROSS THE POND: Jaden Smith DINES OUT With Selena Gomez, JOINS Will Smith & DJ Jazzy Jeff For Trey's DJ Debut Posted: 24 May 2013 07:30 AM PDT Jaden Smith, Selena Gomez, Alfonso Ribeiro and DJ Jazzy Jeff all joined Will Smith in London to mark Trey Smith's UK debut on the club scene.  See pics from their night out inside...   After Earth star Jaden Smith was spotted out to dinner with Selena Gomez, where they dined at the London hotspot Hakkasan. Jaden took a very protective stance as he extended his arm to shield Selena from the aggressive paparazzi clamoring to take their picture. Jaden pulled double duty while in the UK, as he and his dad, Will, are doing international press junkets for their film After Earth (June 7th) and they supported Trey Smith during his club debut.   Later that night... The British Press captured a mini-reunion of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" as Will Smith was joined by former co-stars Alfonso Ribeiro (and wife Robin) and DJ Jazzy Jeff.    The fellas were on their way into Boujis Night Club to witness the UK debut of DJ Trey Smith (Will's oldest son).   Will, who's also doing press for After Earth, interviewed with The Alchemist, where he talked about his role in After Earth and how the relationship between he and Jaden's character is similar to their real life father/son dynamic. It was funny because my character is this huge general and a great warrior, and his son is trying to follow in his footsteps so it was similar in that sense. I think because we got to talk about our characters, Cypher and Kitai, we were really talking about Will and Jaden. We had plenty of conversations about things like discipline and why Cypher felt like it was such a necessity to be harder on Kitai than even on full-grown rangers. The concept of life and death is what comes into play as a father. Whether you are watching basketball or washing the dishes, in the mind of a warrior father, everything is life or death. The way you wash those dishes, the way you clean your room, the way you handle your schoolwork, one day its going to come back in a life or death scenario.    But last night....everyone's attention was focus on Trey.      Looking very dapper in a slim fitted dark suit, Trey posed for pics and greeted fans as he prepared to do his first DJ set in the UK.   Trey's role in the entertainment business makes perfect sense, as Will explained to The Alchemist, he wanted all of his children to be in the "family business." "I grew up in a family business so my father, my mother and all my brothers and sisters worked in the family business, so that’s really the only way I know how to parent." And as Jaden and Willow make their mark in the entertainment world, Trey seems like he's ready to take his place in the spotlight as well.  And he has hip hop legend DJ Jazzy Jeff alongside him as he masters the art of the DJ! MORNING FUNNIES: Tamar Braxton TWERKING With Her BABY BUMP + Morgan Freeman FALLS ASLEEP During "LIVE" Interview Posted: 24 May 2013 06:28 AM PDT We all love Tamar Braxton's ability to create a song from "any" situation and recently, she blessed all the Tamartians with her own rendition of "Bands Will Make Her Dance" which led into a twerk break called "Pop That Baby."  Joined by members of Team Tamar, the group catches the spirit as Tamar twerks with her baby bump.  She looks beautiful!  And in other morning comics.... Recently, actor Morgan Freeman fell asleep during a "LIVE" chat with Seattle's Q13 Fox News as his 80-year-old co-star Michael Caine dished about their Now You See Me. During the interview, Morgan dozed off a few times but did manage to answer a questions....in between naps. The hilarious interview reminds us of Harry Belafonte falling asleep during an interview under similar circumstances. Fans of Mr. Freeman can catch him awake and in action when Now You See Me hits theaters on May 31.

"Billionaire" Janet Jackson And Selita Ebanks ATTEND amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS Event Posted: 23 May 2013 04:30 PM PDT Pop star Janet Jackson was spotted in Cannes, France at a benefit party for amFAR.  See pics of Janet and Selita Ebanks at the event inside and get the latest on why some folks have given Janet "billionaire" status. Janet Jackson displayed her world-famous smile while walking down the press line for the amfAR's 20th Cinema Against Aids Gala at Hotel du Cap in Cap D'Antibes, France today. A new article published in VARIETY, recently made claims that Ms. Jackson is a "billionaire".  But before you assume her wealth is solely based on her marriage to billionaire Wissam Al Mana, the magazine reports that Janet's "personal" wealth exceeded $1 Billion  due to $458 million from her successful concert tours, $304 million for her roles in films, $260 million in album sales, and $81 million from tour sponsorship and licensing fees. But the very knowledgable "monied" class over at FORBES magazine threw up a red flag about news outlets picking up the story.   The magazine explains that net worth (cash and assets available) is very different from the amount of money "earned" over a lifetime.  It's a nice way of saying yes, she is VERY rich in the whole NeNe Leakes sense....but Janet couldn't write you a check for a $1 Billion dollars.  Either way....good for her.   And for the record, the magazine went on to shoot down claims that Jessica Simpson, Madonna, the Olsen twins and the Kardashains are not billionaires  They did, however, confirm Oprah Winfrey's "Billionaire" status. Also, reports about Janet "retiring" from the music business were premature as she told Billboard she's planning new music to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her groundbreaking fifth album, “janet". Also.... Model Selita Ebanks has been making the rounds in Cannes for the past few days. In addition to attending the amFAR benefit, Selita attended the "Blood Ties" premiere with designer Eli Mizrahi earlier this week.     It looks like Selita is attempting to raise her social profile before her reality tv show "Selita" hits the airwaves later this year.   Photos via Splash News/George Pimentel/WireImage

SPOTTED: Bow Wow & Angela Simmons OUT TO LUNCH In NYC Posted: 23 May 2013 03:36 PM PDT Bow Wow reunited with ex-girlfriend Angela Simmons for lunch in NYC earlier this week.  Find out where they went inside... "106 & Park" host Bow Wow reunited with his ex-girlfriend Angela Simmons for lunch at Bar Pitti earlier this week. Though they haven't been a "couple" for a very long time,  the twosome have remained great friends, often partying and going to day spas in NYC together. Their chemistry is so great, Angela even did a guest co-hosting stint on "106 & Park" with him earlier this year.    BET was obviously happy with the pairing since Bow Wow announced on Twitter that Angela will make another appearance on "106 & Park" this Friday.  Hmm...It looks like the folks at BET are really enjoy this pairing.  Maybe Angela will land a more permanent position with the BET family? Ray J BRINGS His "Kim Kardashian Look-Alike" To "106 & Park" + Sevyn Streeter's "It Won't Stop" (SINGLE) Posted: 23 May 2013 02:03 PM PDT   Singer Ray J dropped by "106 & Park" yesterday to discuss his "I Hit It First" single and to introduce the world to his "Kim Kardashian Look-Alike" co-star Luna.  See their clips inside and listen to Sevyn Streeter's "It Won't Stop" track...   Grammy-winning songwriter Sevyn Streeter joined Bow Wow to co-host the latest episode of "106 & Park".  The "I Like It" singer wore a Jeremy Scott jersey, Zara shorts and boots from Blumarine. During the show, Ray J appeared to discuss his hosting gig on "Bad Girls All-Stars" to dish on  his "I Hit It First" video.  When asked who the song was about, Ray would not mention any "specific" names, but did admit, “The song is about something I did. I try not to go so hard with the record ’cause it’s self-explanatory. There’s other relationships that I’ve been in too, just not as popular as others that I’ve dealt with.” He also revealed that there's an album in the works and it will feature songs with more substance than "I Hit It First".  “There’s records coming with a whole lotta more substance. We havin’ fun with this. It’s summertime, let’s live, let’s have fun.” During his appearance, Ray J brought out his video co-star, Luna. Watch the interview clips here:   And in new music..... In addition to co-hosting "106 & Park", Sevyn released her second single "It Won't Stop" this week. The track was co-written by Jean-Baptiste who spoke of Sevyn's musical talents saying, "I would best describe Sevyn as a rarity and the experience of working with her as a gift. She's a talent beyond words and I can't wait for the world to discover that. 'It won't stop' is a testament to her artistry as an amazing songwriter and a great artist. See the fun pics inside... "AGT" judge Mel B and her husband Stephen Belafonte were spotted in Cannes, France yesterday.  The gorgeous couple looked very well-appointed in their "yacht" gear as Mel rocked a matching kaftan, bikini and heels set. The couple were seen boarding their private yacht where they sunbathed and relaxed. The playful couple spent the afternoon feasting on champagne and lite nibbles in between naps.  At one point, Mel climbed on top of Stephen to kiss him.  They're so in love! And the crew truly treated Stephen like a king!  When they needed to clean the deck, they lifted his entire lounger and moved it out of the way, rather than wake him up. And Mel, who was caught smoking on deck, is having a "smoking" career as a tv presenter.  Across the pond, she's rumored to be replacing Nicole Scherzinger on "X-Factor". Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports SIGNS New York Jets BALLER Geno Smith + Foxy Brown DENIES Bashing Jay-Z & Beyonce Posted: 23 May 2013 10:14 AM PDT New York Jets rookie Geno Smith is the latest high-profile athlete to join Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports.  Get the deets inside and read what Foxy Brown said about rumors she bashed Jay-Z and Beyonce in an alleged industry tell-all.   After signing Tulsa Shock star Skylar Diggins and NY Yankees baller Robinson Cano, Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports has added New York Jets rookie Geno Smith to its rooster of talent.  Roc Nation proudly tweeted the announcement earlier, "We would like to welcome @genosmith_12 to the #RocNationSports family!" During an interview with the NY Daily News, Eugene revealed that Jay-Z only played a minor role in why he chose to sign with Roc Nation.  He added that his primary focus is on playing football, not creating a certain "image". “The only thing that’s important to be is the image that is perceived around this lockerroom, the guy that I am to my teammates, to my coaches and the work that I put in on the football field.. I’m all about football. I’m all about getting better and that’s the one thing that I’m focused on: Better myself daily and prepare myself to be there when the time comes.” “I don’t worry about the outside world’s perception. I’m comfortable with who I am, strong in my faith. I know that this isn’t because of an image thing or trying to market myself. It’s just being comfortable with the guys who’s going to represent me. Foxy Brown has denied rumors that she penned a tell-all biography bashing her mentor Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce.  In an interview with TMZ, Foxy shot down the false report (which claimed Jay gave her gonorrhea and took her virginity) saying, "The atrociousness of this story sickened me to my stomach. Any and everyone involved will be contacted by my attorney. In all my years in the music industry, these are the most disgusting and disrespectful allegations I've ever experienced. This fictitious story ... with NO audio, visual or written interview, clearly was concocted with malicious intent." She continued, "Jay has only been wonderful to me and my family, a great friend throughout all the years I've known him and we had nothing but great success as a team." Foxy also disputed reports that she made distasteful comments about Jay's wife Beyonce. "Beyonce, his wife, has always been gracious and sweet to me ... I will NOT let any undercover hater create discord and disrespect my name and reputation. This disrespect will NOT be tolerated." Mind you....we never reported on any of the speculation surrounding the alleged Foxy Brown biography as there was never any credible proof presented.  And now we know why....

Earlier this week, NBA MVP LeBron James was spotted driving through downtown Miami with his gorgeous fiancee Savannah Brinson. Savannah, while enjoying an ice cream cone, used a scarf to cover her head, preventing the Florida breeze from tussling her hair. Once they reached their destination, Savannah let her hair down and basked in the glory of being one-half of the most beloved couples in Miami. Though details about their upcoming nuptials have been kept under wraps, a "leaked" invitation revealed that the twosome will walk down the aisle later this summer in San Diego. And if last night's 103-102 victory over the Indiana Pacers is any indication of what's to come, Savannah could be adding another championship ring to her wedding set. During post-game interviews about his game-winning shot, LeBron modestly took all the praise in stride saying, "I mean, I made a layup. It's not like I made something from half court. I made a layup.
