Adrianne Palicki Has Been Cast As The New Wonder Woman

The search for the new Wonder Woman is over … the Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Friday Night Lights star Adrianne Palicki has been cast as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in the upcoming NEW NBC series helmed by David E. Kelly. This new Wonder Woman TV series is set to debut this Fall and will bring many changes to the character as we know her … and now we know who will be playing this iconic character when the show debuts.

Friday Night Lights star Adrianne Palicki is the new Wonder Woman. The actress has been cast as the title character in Wonder Woman, David E. Kelley’s pilot for NBC. The project, from David E. Kelley Prods. and Warner Bros. TV, is a retelling of the DC Comics title in which Wonder Woman, a.k.a. Diana Prince, tries to balance her extraordinary life as a vigilante crime fighter, a successful corporate executive and a modern woman. Palicki, who appeared as Tyra Collete in the beloved NBC/DirecTV series Friday Night Lights, stars in the upcoming Red Dawn. Her most recent series regular role was Fox’s short-lived Texas-set drama Lone Star, which aired only two episodes last fall.

To be honest, I don’t know much about Adrianne … but she does seem to have the Wonder Woman look down. We will have to see if she can truly bring the character to life. As for this new version of Wonder Woman, it is being reported that the show will feature big changes to the character. Apparently, she will have 3 identities and a different love interest for each identity:

NBC has revealed that its new Wonder Woman series will add a third identity to the superhero’s life. According to TV Guide, the series will give Wonder Woman three separate identities. The first will be that of Wonder Woman herself, while the second will be Diana Prince, Wonder Woman’s civilian alter ego from the comic books. Meanwhile, the third identity will be that of Diana Themyscira, the CEO of Themyscira Industries. In addition, Wonder Woman will have a separate love interest for each identity: Henry Demeter, Diana Themyscira’s confidante, Ed Indelicato, a man with ties to the police and Steve Trevor, Wonder Woman’s boyfriend in the comics.

I am a bit worried about these confirmed changes (as well as the other changes that have been making the rumor rounds) … but I’m not opposed to updating the classic character … as long as it is handled well. This 3 identities thing seems odd to me but … I’m willing to give David E. Kelley the benefit of the doubt — for now. So … we know who will play Wonder Woman and we know that there will be some big changes to the character … now we wait to see how it all turns out.

Because I love Wonder Woman so much, I am concerned … but hopeful that the show will turn out well.

Destiny’s Child Reunites To Go Lingerie Shopping

Destiny’s Child may have broken up years ago (and their collective fame eclipsed by Beyoncé‘s stunning solo success) but that doesn’t mean that the ladies haven’t stayed in touch over the years. Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams got together Monday here in LA to do a bit of sexy shopping together. Beyoncé‘s sister Solange Knowles tagged along but there was no sight of other former Destiny’s Child members LeToya Luckett, LaTavia Roberson or Farrah Franklin … so I guess it wasn’t a complete DChild reunion after all.

They haven’t performed together in almost five years, but it seems the stars of Destiny’s Child are still good friends. Beyoncé reunited with her former band mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for lunch and a spot of shopping this week in celebration of Kelly’s recent 30th birthday. The trio, famous for chart-topping hits including Survivor and Independent Women, were also joined by Beyoncé’s sister Solonge Knowles and their cousin Angie. The ladies caught up over lunch at the famed Phillippe Chow before heading down the street to luxury exotic boutique, Coco de Mer which sells high end sex toys and lingerie. It is the first time the girls have been publicly seen together since 2009. The girls were all in town to attend events relating to the Grammy Awards with Beyoncé, 29, attending the actual ceremony and Michelle and Kelly attending several of the parties. Beyoncé, who noticeably spent Valentine’s Day away from her husband Jay Z, is set to have a busy year with the release of her fourth solo album early this year and has signed on to star in the new Clint Eastwood remake of A Star Is Born. The movie is currently in development and set to begin filming later in the year.

How much do I LOVE the sight of these ladies all together again. Wouldn’t it be fabulous if they reunited to record a new album of music, too? While it’s very doubtful that will happen in the foreseeable future … well, I guess there is always hope. When I complied the playlist of songs I played at a party recently, I was reminded about how many great singles Destiny’s Child put out back in the day. DChild ruled! Seeing them together makes me further realize how much I miss them.

Paris Hilton Is Planning To Release Her New Album In The ‘Next Few Months’

Paris Hilton is turning 30 years old tomorrow … and as a gift to all of us, she is promising to release a new album of music in the “next few months”. Oh wait, what I meant to type was — Paris Hilton is turning 30 years old tomorrow … and as punishment for all of us that the increasingly irrelevant socialite is aging beyond the bounds of her intelligence, she is cursing us with a new album of music in the “next few months”.

Paris Hilton says her new album will be released “in the next few months.” The reality star, who also has a show for Oxygen debuting in the spring, spoke to The Hollywood Reporter over the weekend at Usher’s pre-Grammy party at Avalon in Hollywood. She is keeping mum on the details of the album, telling THR that she wants to keep her collaborators and producers “a surprise.” Hilton released her first album, “Paris,” through Warner Bros. in 2006. It spawned one hit, “Stars Are Blind,” but was met with mixed reviews and underwhelming sales. The new album won’t be released through Warner Bros., but Hilton declined which label will handle its release, claiming wants it to be “a surprise” as well.

Um … the only “surprise” that can possibly come from this new album would be if anyone truly cared to hear it at all. I find it funny that the album is just a “few months” away from release and yet Paris doesn’t want to reveal any bit of information about the music itself. It’s also very suspicious that she won’t even reveal which record company is releasing her disc. None of this makes any sense … why even bring it up if you don’t want to talk about it. My guess is that Paris isn’t as close to releasing the album as she would like us to believe … and, in the end, I think that is actually very good news.

Is Natalie Portman Having A Baby Boy?

First we heard that Victoria Beckham is carrying a girl in her baby bump (a report that VB has denied being true) and now we hear that Natalie Portman is carrying a boy in her baby bump. Citing a “source close to” Natalie and fiancée Benjamin Millepied, Life & Style magazine is reporting that Nat is having a baby boy!

Expect Natalie Portman’s bundle of joy to be swaddled in blue! A source close to the couple reveals to Life & Style that Natalie and fiancée Benjamin Millepied are expecting a baby boy! “They’ve only told a very small group of family members and friends that they’re expecting a son,” the insider tells Life & Style. “They are so excited. Benjamin cannot wait to be a father.” Natalie is due in early spring and the parents-to-be could not be happier.

Well, at least they have a 50/50 shot at being right. Take this news for what it’s worth and with a HUGE grain of salt. Whatever the sex of the baby, I wish nothing but the best for Natalie, Benjamin and their growing family.

Last week we got our first look at a fun behind-the-scenes rehearsal video clip from rehearsals of Kylie Mingogue‘s upcoming Les Folies 2011 and Aphrodite Live 2011 tours. Today we get to check out more rehearsal footage in a second clip released by Kylie … and this one really gives a good feel for how preparations for the tour are commencing.


I don’t know about you but I really love seeing this kind of footage. The bits with Kylie are fab, of course, but I love seeing the people who work behind the scenes putting together the costumes, etc. for the tour. Check out the clip and see for yourselves:


I am SO excited for these tours!! As I mentioned before, David and I will see the Les Folies Tour 2011 in Berlin, Germany in March and then will see the Aphrodite Live 2011 tour here in LA and Las Vegas in May. I’m gonna try and stay away from any real tour spoilers until I get to see the show for myself but … OY! I am loving this behind the scenes look at the tour. Woot!!

‘Glee’ Breaks Elvis Presley’s ‘Billboard’ Record For The Most Hot 100 Hits

Elvis Presley may be the King of Rock and Roll but he is no longer king of the Billboard Hot 100 music chart. Before this week, Elvis held the record for having 108 hit singles on the Hot 100 chart … but now the new record belongs to the cast of Glee, who now hold the record for having 113 hit singles on the Hot 100 chart. Too bad Elvis, all hail Glee?

espite having first graced the Billboard Hot 100 song chart as recently as June 2009, the cast of the smash Fox TV series “Glee” rewrites the record for most charted songs by an act in the list’s 52-year archives. The act passes music royalty on its way to chart history. With six debuts on the Hot 100 to be released tomorrow (Feb. 17) on Billboard.com, the “Glee” cast has placed 113 songs on the chart, besting Elvis Presley’s 108 chart entries logged between the survey’s inception in 1958 and 2003. (The King of Rock and Roll’s career predates the Hot 100′s launch; Presley scaled numerous Hot 100 predecessor song charts beginning in 1956). The “Glee” cast’s record-shattering week contributes to an historic Hot 100 … Following the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning series’ premiere May 19, 2009, the “Glee” ensemble arrived on the Hot 100 with its highest-charted title to-date (No. 4), a cover of Journey’s 1981 rock classic “Don’t Stop Believin’,” the week of June 6, 2009. The record of 113 hit singles on the Hot 100 will likely be surpassed next week and the week after … every week that Glee releases a new batch of songs. BUT, as impressive as all of this is … it really comes down to quality versus quantity. I don’t think that anyone seriously believes that Glee can surpass the achievements of Elvis Presley … but this news should make us take notice that Glee is a musical force to be reckoned with. Charlie Sheen Offers Some Advice To Lindsay Lohan

Charlie Sheen, the celebrity trainwreck du jour, has a bit of advice to give to Lindsay Lohan, the reigning queen of the trainwrecks … and he is sharing that advice with the world. Calling in to The Dan Patrick Show for the second time this week, Sheen offered some of his sage advice to Lohan that he believes will help get her life back on track. People, I couldn’t even make up this kind of shizz if I wanted to.

A bit like calling the kettle black, Charlie Sheen is doling out advice to another wayward star — Lindsay Lohan. “I have some things I think she should consider, cause I don’t tell anybody what to do,” Sheen said today on The Dan Patrick Show on DirecTV. “Work on your impulse control … just try and think things through a little bit before you do them.” Calling into the show for the second time this week, Sheen spoke about Lohan’s recent legal troubles, in which she’s accused of stealing a $2500 necklace. “They’re so desperate to vilify,” he said, presumably referring to the media.

LOLOLOLOL!! I mean … what else is there to say? Bwahahahaha. Charlie Sheen offering Lindsay Lohan advice on impulse control has to be THE most ridiculous thing we’ll hear all day … possibly week. Sheen went on to discuss his future on Two and A Half Men and also opened up about his inability to control his drinking:

Sheen, who’s currently undergoing substance-abuse rehab at his home, told Patrick … that he never in an altered state while on the set. “Never been drunk. Never been high on the set once,” he said, though he did cop to some late nights before showing up. On Monday, the actor showed little love for his bosses. He said he was ready to return to work, “but the suits” won’t let him. He described banging on the door of the show’s studio and getting no answer. “[The execs] said ‘You get ready and we’ll get ready,’” he said today on “The Dan Patrick Show” on DirecTV, “and I got ready and went back and nobody was there … I don’t know what to tell you.” A raspy-sounding Sheen, who quipped that he sounded “like Demi Moore in the ’80s,” added, “I’m here and I’m ready. They’re not. Bring it” … Sheen also told Patrick why he started drinking again. “It tends to do with boredom,” he said, according to a report on People.com. “It’s about wanting to make things better — whether that’s real or imagined.”

Movie Review: ‘The Eagle’

Because I got to pick the last movie that we saw together — Sixteen Candles last Sunday night — David got to pick our next movie … so we ended up seeing the new movie The Eagle starring Channing Tatum and Jamie Bell. Back in 2009, we got our first look at Channing in The Eagle (then titled The Eagle of the Ninth) so I guess I was kinda interested in seeing how the film turned out. For the most part, we enjoyed the film but … to be honest, it wasn’t really all that.


The first thing you should know is that The Eagle is rated PG. If you are expecting blood or flesh, you’re outta luck. I have been so spoiled by watching Spartacus on Starz that I was not really feelin’ how sanitized The Eagle is. Spartacus gives us oceans of blood, at least one penis and boobs boobs boobs in every episode. The Eagle doesn’t show much of anything, despite the battle scenes that are portrayed. To be honest, the whole movie felt really … quiet. All in all it was a pretty good story and I can see how it prolly makes a good book. While I wasn’t particularly impressed with the acting (tho, Jamie Bell did a fantastic job as the slave Esca), everyone pretty much did a fair job. I can’t say that I would really recommend this to anyone looking for an exciting time at the movies … but I’ve seen way worse and in the end, I guess I was pretty entertained. I did not hate it … but I didn’t love it either.

The plan for tonight is to pack, pack, pack. David and I leave for NYC on Friday and then to Berlin, Germany from there the following week. I have to pack for 3 weeks away and I haven’t even started yet! Ugh! So, yeah, that’s what I’ll be doing tonight. Happy Hump Day, y’all!!

RoboCop Fans Successfully Collect The Funds To Erect A Statue In His Honor In Detroit, MI

Just six days after fans started raising funds to erect a statue of RoboCop to be put on display in Detroit, MI, over $50,000. has been collected for the project. What started off as a joke has turned into a bona fide campaign for fans to fund a RoboCop statue in the city of Detroit. After it was jokingly suggested that Detroit erect a RoboCop statue, the site Detroit Needs RoboCop went online and started collecting funds for the project. Today we learn that the money has been raised … but will the statue actually be erected?

Just six days after raising donations on the Internet, a group of local artists and fans of the 1987 cult classic exceeded the fundraising goal of $50,000 this morning to build a larger-than-life sculpture of the crime-fighting cyborg. With 1,500 donations and hundreds pouring in every day at www.detroitneedsrobocop.com, the group plans to continue raising money until the March 29 deadline to make the statue of “as big and good as possible,” said Detroit artist Jerry Paffendorf, who is helping raise donations. “This could be a multi-hundred-thousand-dollar kickstarter,” Paffendorf said. “It’s remarkable.” The statue has set off debates about the artistic value of a RoboCop statue. Some complain that the movie, about a dystopian, crime-ridden Detroit, would hurt the city’s image. Others said it’s a fun way to bring more attention to the struggling, but resilient city. Fundraising began last week after Detroit Mayor Dave Bing politely rejected a suggestion on Twitter that RoboCop would improve the city’s image. Although the Tweet was a joke from a New England computer technician, fans of RoboCop swarmed cyberspace to call for a statue. If all goes as planned, a team of skilled sculptures, including Bjork’s husband Matthew Barney, who volunteered to help, will erect the sculpture at Imagination Station, an outdoor art project co-founded by Paffendorf near the abandoned Michigan Central Station just off Michigan Avenue. Paffendorf and other local artists hope RoboCop is just the beginning of a series of public art installations. “With all of this publicity, we have a big opportunity to extend this to other projects in Detroit,” Paffendorf said. Supporters of the statue got a big boost Tuesday when San Francisco businessman, Pete Hottelet, donated $25,000. “Despite everything, we live in a great country, and every day, there’s an opportunity out there to do something awesome,” Hottelet, owner of Omni Consumer Products, told the Free Press. “You just have to find it.”

If Metropolis, IL can have a Superman statue and Philadelphia, PA can have a Rocky Balboa statue then I don’t see why Detroit can’t have a RoboCop statue. I do not agree that a RoboCop statue would hurt the city, in fact, I believe the opposite. Look at all the attention this campaign has gotten for the city already. I am not ashamed to admit that I donated some money for the statue. I’m quite surprised at how serious this whole thing has become. Once I heard that Matthew Barney was involved, I was totally sold. I think it would be amazing if the extra money raised by this campaign (which is accepting donations HERE until March 26) would go directly to the City of Detroit but I’d really like to see the statue erected. It is my hope that I will be able to, someday soon, visit Detroit and see a RoboCop statue standing proudly in the city. If YOU would like to donate to the project, you can do so HERE. Detroit may not actually need a statue of RoboCop … but wouldn’t it be cool as Hell if it got one?

Is Banksy In LA Ahead Of The Academy Awards?

The mysterious graffiti artist Banksy is thought to be back in LA these days leading up to the 83rd annual Academy Awards happening in Hollywood, CA at the end of the month. As you may or may not know, Banksy‘s film Exit Through the Gift Shop is nominated for the Best Documentary Oscar and after a couple of Banksy-like pieces of street art have surfaced here in town, it is widely believed that Banksy is in town to liven up the place ahead of the Academy Awards show next week. Pink reader Sarah sends in a photo of a believed Banksy piece that showed up in Westwood, CA this week.


Sarah tells me that this graffiti can be found on an alley wall off of Kinross between Westwood and Glendon. Additionally, a huge art piece believed to be created by either Banksy or his protegee Mr. Brainwash showed up on La Brea in Los Angeles, CA just a couple of days after the Academy Award nominations were announced last month. LAist reports:

With Exit Through the Gift Shop (aka the Banksy movie) getting a Best Documentary Oscar nomination in the wee hours of Tuesday morning, in the wee hours one morning a few days later this large piece of street art showed up on La Brea at San Vicente, in the oft-used Mr. Brainwash space. There is, indeed, a Mr Brainwash signature next to the giant hoodie-shrouded Oscar statuette (at the end of a sidewalk red carpet, no less) and some showbiz-y busied Storm Troopers hanging around–err…hovering around from above, too. This new work raises a few questions: Is this Mr. Brainwash’s way of getting ready for the media frenzy of the Academy Awards? If Gift Shop wins, who will go onstage to accept? And…is Mr. Brainwash really Banksy?

I absolutely LOVED Exit Through the Gift Shop and I would LOVE if it won the Academy Award. I’d be really interested to see who will show up to accept the award if the documentary wins. It’s kinda crazy how “big” Banksy has gotten and it really blows my mind to think that a pop art graffiti artist may become an Academy Award-winning filmmaker in just a few days. Much love goes out to Sarah for sharing her photo with us … and I guess we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled to see if any other Banksy art pieces go on display here on the streets of LA.

Paris Hilton Celebrates Her 30th Birthday A Bit Early

Paris Hilton doesn’t turn 30 until tomorrow (February 17) but she decided to celebrate a wee bit early with a lavish party in the Hollywood Hills last night. To get her birthday celebration started, Paris‘s current boyfriend Cy Waits gave her a mustard yellow Lexus car as a gift (which, judging by the color, was on sale) before the couple got all dolled up in 1920′s style outfits for her 30th birthday party (Get it? Turning 30 in the 20′s?) … all of which was filmed for Paris‘s new reality TV show. Happy (early) Birthday, Paris Hilton!

Paris Hilton has celebrated her 30th birthday with a lavish party, according to reports. The socialite, who actually turns 30 tomorrow, celebrated with friends and family at a Moulin Rouge-themed bash in the Hollywood Hills on Tuesday night. “Such an amazing birthday celebration!” she tweeted later. “So amazing when Lil Wayne stopped by to give me a birthday present. Everyone at the party loved seeing him!” Among the reported guests in attendance were the heiress’s boyfriend Cy Waits, sister Nicky Hilton and My Life On The D-List star Kathy Griffin. The Daily Mail reports that her birthday presents included a new yellow Lexus sports car from Waits, which was gifted to her yesterday. The former Simple Life star recently admitted that she was “freaking out” about her impending birthday, before joking: “I can’t believe I’m going to be 30! But at least I still look like I’m 20!” She also suggested that she was going to celebrate with separate parties in LA, New York and Las Vegas. Hilton is currently gearing up for the summer launch of her new Oxygen reality show The World According To Paris, which promises to give an all-access pass into her everyday life.

Um, is anyone else weirded out that Paris Hilton is 30 years old? It’s not even so much her actual age that is freaking me out … it’s that this grown woman — at 30 — still talks and acts like a 13 year old child. Nothing about any of this birthday news is surprising to me … well, except for the fact that Paris wanted to celebrate turning 30 early. I guess we should wish her a Happy Birthday … or something … right?

Justin Bieber Does ‘Rolling Stone’ Magazine

Popstar Justin Bieber, newly dubbed “Super Boy”, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine. In his first coverstory interview for the mag, Bieber opens up about his thoughts on politics, sex and — strangely enough — abortion. It’s clear that the Biebs wanted to sound more mature and worldly in this Rolling Stone interview but, to be honest … does anyone want to hear Justin Bieber talk about rape and abortion?

In the new issue of Rolling Stone – on stands and online in the digital archives on February 18th – Justin Bieber takes Rolling Stone contributing editor Vanessa Grigoriadis for a spin around Atlanta in his Range Rover. Along the way they discuss girls, politics, music, Will Ferrell movies – and sex. “I don’t think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them,” Bieber says. Bieber quickly closed the computer when he noticed that Grigoriadis had seen the picture. Other highlights from the story:

- The Canadian-born Bieber never plans on becoming an American citizen. “You guys are evil,” he says with a laugh. “Canada’s the best country in the world. We go to the doctor and we don’t need to worry about paying him, but here, your whole life, you’re broke because of medical bills. My bodyguard’s baby was premature, and now he has to pay for it. In Canada, if your baby’s premature, he stays in the hospital as long as he needs to, and then you go home.”

- He isn’t sure what political party he’d support if he was old enough to vote. “I’m not sure about the parties,” Bieber says. “But whatever they have in Korea, that’s bad.” He does have a solid opinion on abortion. “I really don’t believe in abortion,” Bieber says. “It’s like killing a baby?” How about in cases of rape? “Um. Well, I think that’s really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I guess I haven’t been in that position, so I wouldn’t be able to judge that.”

- Bieber’s voice began to change on his last tour. He’s now working with a vocal couch, which involves doing 20 push-ups before before a session to warm up his chest. “He’s got a nice tone tone to his voice now,” says his vocal coach Jan Smith. “It’s a good texture, but it doesn’t sound like what his fans think he sounds like. He’ll get four octaves eventually. He’s still young.”

While I kinda agree with him about the state of health care in this country verses health care in Canada, I really REALLY think Bieber should stay away from topics that he is, IMHO, far too young and uneducated to understand. I mean, really … why is Justin Bieber talking about abortion in the first place? The fact that he would describe rape as “sad” but that it “happens for a reason” is proof that he is just a little kid repeating things he’s heard from adults … proof that he really doesn’t understand the complexities of what he is talking about. It is so odd to me that thousands of young Bieber fans will be clamoring for this issue of Rolling Stone and will be reading about his opinions on rape and abortion. Ugh, it’s just so … weird. Remember when teen heartthrobs only used to talk about their favorite colors and foods? I guess this feature in Rolling Stone is meant to show the kid as a more mature teen idol? The kid in this video is the one that people want to see featured in this coverstory. I think we should refrain from asking the Biebs to pontificate further on the state of politics and sex. OY!

First Look: Isle Esme From ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’

Last Fall we got our first look at the first photo released from the upcoming sequel film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. That photo featured Bella Swan‘s hand clutching a handful of feathers from the movie’s sex scene. Last month, we got to see another promo photo from the film, featuring Bella in bed with her vampire lover Edward Cullen. Today we get to see a new photo from the film, released on Twitter on Valentine’s Day, of the island where all the vampire sex takes place. Here is our first look at Isle Esme.

Happy Valentine’s Day from Isle Esme!

As you may know [SPOILER ALERT WARNING] Isle Esme is where Bella (played by Kristen Stewart) and Edward (played by Robert Pattinson) fly off to for their honeymoon. It is where the couple has all of the sex. It is where their vampire/human hybrid baby daughter Renesmee was conceived. It looks nice, don’t it? To be honest, I am really looking forward to seeing this film on the big screen. Trust me, I am not a big fan of the Twilight films but I found the book description of Bella and Edward‘s sex scene SO RIDIC that I kinda want to see it reenacted on screen. I have to believe the movie version will be better than the terribly written book version … but still, this sex scene HAS to be cheese-o-rama. We still have many months to wait until Breaking Dawn Part 1 gets released in November … but we will all be on Isle Esme soon enough. Are you ready?

Christina Applegate Shows Off Her Newborn Daughter On The Cover Of ‘People’ Magazine

At the start of the month, we learned that actress Christina Applegate gave birth to a baby girl in late January that she named Sadie Grace. Today we get to our first look at Christina‘s baby girl on the cover of the new issue of People magazine. Ladies and gentlemen, say hello and meet Sadie Grace Applegate-LeNoble.

Holding newborn daughter Sadie Grace in the hospital on Jan. 27, Christina Applegate was overwhelmed by her feelings of acceptance and love. “I felt my heart literally open up for the first time and like wrap itself around her. It was profound,” Applegate, 39, tells PEOPLE in this week’s cover story. “And I’m more in love with her every minute of the day.” Back home in the L.A. house she shares with musician fiancé Martyn LeNoble, 41, Applegate has been relishing motherhood. “I want to be the ultimate burper and diaper-changer, I want to be the ultimate at all of it,” she says. “Sometimes I stand there going, ‘I’m not doing any of this right!’ And then I get this big man belch out of her and I go, ‘Ah, we accomplished this together.’ ” It’s those little moments that now mean the most to Applegate, who opted for a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008. “I’ve had to talk about that word [cancer] more than I’ve ever had to talk about a word in my life,” she says. “After a while you’re like, ‘There’s got to be something else to me.’ ” Daughter Sadie has now given Applegate a new word to focus on: Mom. “Yeah, now I’m Mom. She’s healed me in so many ways,” says the actress. “She’s just made my life so much better. She’s opened my whole soul.”

Christina Applegate‘s story is truly a remarkable one. It wasn’t that long ago that we were fearing for her life after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Now, she’s not only beaten back the disease but she is reveling in the joy of a newborn baby daughter. Sadie Grace is a miracle, one that is likely to keep Christina vibrant, happy and healthy for the rest of her life. Look at these two beautiful faces … that is love, y’all. Let’s send our congrats and love, again, to Christina and her fiancée Martyn on the birth of their precious daughter Sadie. Ain’t she a little doll?

Victoria Beckham Brings Her Baby Bump To ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’

Victoria Beckham, pregnant and glowing, made an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night to talk about her incubating baby and her new fashion collection. Jimmy got the baby questions out of the way first and VB answered them all with such charm. To be honest, VB still doesn’t really look very pregnant but her tiny bump was there … somewhere.

Victoria Beckham made sure to set the record straight about her pregnancy, by appearing as a special guest on Jimmy Fallon's U.S talk show. The fashion designer insisted to the comedian that she and husband David have no clue as to whether they're having a boy or a girl, but admitted that testosterone is rife in their house. The 36-year-old told the comedian: 'The bizarre thing is that the tabloids think they know the sex of the baby before we do. We have no idea, so it is kind of scary, how do they know?' The couple is still trying to decide whether to find out before the birth or wait to make it a surprise. She added: 'We don't know, we might find out though, we are excited. It will either be a boy to add to the three boys we have and we will have half of a five-aside football team if you add in David. We have so much testosterone in our house it is crazy' … The former Spice Girl arrived on the talk show sporting maternity glamour in a knee-length black dress and matching heels. Her slim figure has barely changed so far during her pregnancy and she made sure to show off her bronzed pins despite it being the middle of winter. Posh is determined to continue working through as much of her pregnancy as possible, saying it's 'business as usual' and has been keeping the romance alive with David as much as possible in-between their work commitments. David jetted to New York City this week to take his wife out for an intimate Valentine's Day dinner in Manhattan.
