Watch: Kylie Minogue Opens Up About Her Cancer Battle

Kylie Minogue was featured last night on the Aussie TV show Sunday Night as she was interviewed by Molly Meldrum. The piece, meant to showcase the start of her Les Folies Tour 2011 which kicked off in Europe a couple of weeks ago, ended up taking an emotional turn when Kylie started talking about her cancer struggle. Now that she is 5 years cancer-free, Kylie seems more willing to talk about those dark days when she was sick. It’s a poignant and powerful sight to see Kylie share such a personal part of her life in this way.


Kylie has talked about her illness before but this is the most raw, most emotional I’ve seen her get in any interview on the subject. Clearly she was touched very much by the kindness of that family she talks about in the interview and it’s clear, she doesn’t let herself think too much about the days when she was fighting for her life. I think it’s a very healthy thing for Kylie to think back on that time and let those emotions out. It’s just so wonderful to know that she’s been cancer-free for 5 years now. She is truly a goddess and we are very lucky to have her :D This is a fantastic interview, don’t you think?

‘Thor’ Releases 2 New Promo Posters

Last month we got to see the second movie trailer for the upcoming Marvel Comics film Thor. Today we get to check out 2 new promo posters for the film. With just about 2 months until the film is released on May 9, we are sure to be seeing much more promo for the film’s release. Check out the pretty cool, very godlike posters below.


These posters are great. I love the bold red of the second poster (which you can see in high res HERE) but the banner poster is also very cool as well (you can see the high res version of that poster HERE). I am really excited for this film … I just hope it turns out cool rather than cheesy. Which of these posters is your fave?

Britney Spears & Fam Attend Sean Preston’s Little League Baseball Game

Britney Spears, who we learned earlier today will grace the cover of the inaugural Ladies We Love issue of Out magazine next month, took some time out of her bizzy work schedule to attend one of Sean Preston‘s Little League baseball games this past weekend. Brit‘s main man Jason Trawick and her youngest son Jayden James also came out to support Sean P, making it a family fun day for all.

Having your parents cheer you on from the stands is an important moment in any child's life. But when your parents are separated and with new partners in tow a Sunday afternoon game can turn into a sideline slagging match – but not for one celebrity family. Britney Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline were one big happy family as they cheered on Sean Preston at the weekend. The Hold It Against Me singer was accompanied by beau Jason Trawick, while Kevin stepped out with his girlfriend Victoria Prince but there was certainly no animosity as they cheered on their little star. Federline, 32, coaches the West Hills Yankees team, which his five-year-old son plays for. He gave encouragement and advice to Sean Preston and his teammates while mother Britney proudly watched her son from the stands. With her Hollywood agent boyfriend by her side Britney,29, also spent time chatting to Victoria and Kevin which shows just how far the former couple have come in rebuilding their relationship. Four-year-old Jayden James, Britney and Kevin's second son, was also in attendance to cheer his big brother on and sat on Jason's knee in order to get a better view. Britney and Jason seemed as loved-up as ever as they cooed over a friend's baby and Britney couldn't resist having a cuddle. The star of the day Sean Preston performed well on the pitch and seemed focused as he took his turn to bat. Britney beamed as her son showed off his skills.

It’s nice to hear that Kevin Federline is doing something positive with his life. Coaching his son’s Little League baseball team is really awesome, there is now way I can hate on him for that. As for Britney, you could tell she was very proud to see her little boy in action. It’s crazy to see how big her children have grown already. It seems like Sean P. was born just a short bit ago … and now he’s playing Little League baseball. Dang, time sure does fly. These photos of Britney and the family cheering on Sean Preston are just so adorable. It really looks like Britney‘s life is pretty fantastic these days … and she absolutely deserves it.

Gisele Bündchen Is The Queen Of Carnival In Rio De Janeiro

Earlier today we got to see a few photos of a shirtless Jude Law enjoying the Carnival atmosphere in Rio De Janerio, Brazil this weekend and right now we get to see a set of photos of the beauteous Gisele Bündchen at Carnival as well. Gisele took part in one of the parades in Rio this weekend and she looked like a golden goddess. Her husband Tom Brady tagged along as well and the couple were spotted smoochin’ in the streets. It sounds like it was a very fun weekend for Mr. and Mrs. Brady-Bündchen.

Gisele Bundchen swapped the catwalk for a float as she showed off her dancing moves at the Rio Carnival yesterday. The supermodel, 30, showed off her slim figure in a bottom-skimming gold dress as she performed the samba on a giant float in Rio De Janeiro’s famous Sambadrome. The world’s highest paid model was proudly watched from the audience by her American football player husband Tom Brady and fellow celebrities Jude Law and Pamela Anderson. Joining Gisele on the float was her mother Valdir and sisters-in-law Nancy and Julie Brady, who took some last minute samba lessons the day before. The four women took part in the Vila Isabel Samba School’s float, which had the theme ‘hair’. Discussing the theme on her Twitter page, Gisele enthused: ‘Women love hair and hair helps give personality to people. I think this theme is super cool.’ Bundchen and the Bradys jetted into the Brazilian city on Saturday morning and have been staying at the Hotel Fasano. But New England Patriots quarterback Brady couldn’t get too involved with the festivities because he’s recovering from an operation on his right foot. After her performance, the model changed into a white T-shirt by one of the Carnival’s sponsors Pantene and joined Brady and her friends and family.

They look really cute together and it’s clear they were having a blast. Unfortch, those tacky advertisement shirts totally ruin the photos … but I guess Gisele and Tom need more money, or something. Watch: ‘True Blood’ Releases A Season 4 Preview Video Featuring Eric Northman

Back in January HBO released a short promo video for the upcoming 4th season of True Blood. Unfortch, that video didn’t really show very much of, well, anything. Today we get to check out a new promo video that features the Eric Northman character (played by Alexander Skarsgård) filming a scene for an episode. Taking up the “Waiting Sucks” tagline from the True Blood season 3 promo campaign last year, it looks like the upcoming season will tease us in much the same way, leading up to the show’s premiere this Summer.


You may recall that the Waiting Sucks campaign was a very successful one for True Blood last year. In the weeks leading up to the season 3 premiere, we got to see fun posters and video clips to whip up anticipation for the show. It would seem that the plan is to do the same this year for season 4. Ahhhh … won’t it be nice to have Alexander Skarsgård on our TVs again on a weekly basis? I’m really curious to see where season 4 takes us. Now that we know what kind of supernatural being Sookie Stackhouse is (a fairy, in case you had forgotten), it’ll be interesting to see how her storyline plays out. The promo video we saw in January clues us in that witches may be introduced into the storyline. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for season 4.

Charlie Sheen Has Been Fired From ‘Two And A Half Men’ [UPDATE]

Welp, it was bound to happen eventually … Warner Bros. has finally decided that they can no longer put up with Charlie Sheen‘s erratic behavior and have terminated his employment from the CBS series Two and a Half Men. As you may recall, WB and CBS decided to prematurely end the current season of Two and a Half Men due to Sheen‘s insane behavior … and by all accounts, it was very unlikely that they were going to figure out a way to continue working with him. Read on to see the full, yet very short and terse official statement from Warner Bros. regarding Charlie Sheen‘s termination.

“After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on ‘Two and a Half Men,’ effective immediately.”

I mean … of course they had to fire the man … he has clearly lost his mind, like, seriously. With each passing day it became really hard to see how the TV studio would A.) ever take Charlie Sheen back and B.) would even want to take him back. Sheen has yet to respond to his firing … but I imagine he will have a field day when he gives his response to his termination. Now that we know for sure that Charlie Sheen will not return to Two and a Half Men, do any of y’all have any guesses what he might do next?

UPDATE: Charlie Sheen has issued his response:

“This is very good news. They continue to be in breach, like so many whales. It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of their bazillions, never have to look at whatshiscock again and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension.”

Um … ok. I guess now the real fun begins for good ol’ Charlie. Can this insanity get any crazier? I guess we’re about to find out.

Last night David and I hooked up with our friend Mark to get down to some serious dancing. We started out the night at the weekly “gay prom” at SO 36 and then grabbed a few drinks at Rose’s before hitting up the biggest (and arguably best) weekly gay dance party at GMF. Earlier today, David and I lunched in Mitte before we spent some time checking out a beautifully rebuilt Jewish synagogue … and then we did some shopping. We are moving into our last days here in Berlin and are trying to enjoy as much of the city as possible.


When Mark described the danceparty at SO 36, I wasn’t sure I quite believed him when he said it was like a gay prom. He is absolutely right, it’s a gay prom. The music ranges from traditional German songs to pop songs from the 70′s and 80′s. Here is video of the dancing going on to Abba‘s Gimme A Man After Midnight:


So fun, right? We had a blast … but no, David and I didn’t brave our way onto the dancefloor ;)

After SO 36, it was on to Rose’s for some beers. That place is so fabulously fun … there is fluffy shag carpeting on the walls and ceilings … even on the front door of the place! Rose’s is an explosion of color and fun:


Then it was time for the main event. GMF is, apparently, the biggest and best weekly gay danceparty in Berlin. It’s held on the 15th floor of an office building in Alexanderplatz. The music was amazing, the crowd was fun and the beers were cheap:


I about lost my shizz when they played Britney Spears‘s Hold It Against Me. We had so much fun. The party went on well into the morning … but we left at the semi-reasonable hour of 4AM.

Today, we visited a Jewish Synagogue in Mitte and then did some shopping in the area. David and I both went nuts at the Adidas store … and I nabbed a pair of wicked Jeremy Scott sneakers:


Tonight looks to be a quiet night of work and recuperation. We still have 4 full days left to enjoy Berlin but I’m getting bummed that our days are numbered. Still … I’m sure we have many fun times left to enjoy as the week progresses :D

Kelly Clarkson has posted a new photo on her official Facebook profile taken with musician Steve Jordan. Altho Kelly has yet to make an official announcement about her upcoming new album, she has been talking about the recording process for some time and it sounds like she may be getting closer to announcing a new album release. Check out this new photo of Kelly and Steve below and find out which song she believes will be her fave on her new album.

I had an awesome time in New York recording with Steve Jordan. He’s so talented and he’s good people which makes it even better. The song we recorded is called “why don’t you try” and it’s definitely gonna be my favorite on the album. Thank you Eric Hutchinson for letting me sing your song :)

IMHO, it’s been far too long since Kelly Clarkson released new music so I’m ready for some more. I love hearing about Kelly in the studio … but I’m gettin’ really anxious to hear some new tunes. As long as Kelly drops a new album this year (hopefully sooner rather than later), I will be hap-hap-happy. Any Kelly fans in the hiz? What do you think of this photo?

Trent Reznor Confirms Cameo Role In ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’

Just over a week after he won the Academy Award for Best Original Score, Trent Reznor has posted some information on the official Nine Inch Nails website about his upcoming music and film projects. Last week we heard a rumor that Reznor might be making a cameo appearance in the big screen adaptation of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and I am THRILLED to pass along Trent‘s confirmation that he will, in fact, create music for the film AND appear in the movie in a small cameo role. What a surreal week, capping of an equally surreal few months! Thank you all for the support and kind words throughout. I need to once again point out the reason that score worked so well was David Fincher. We were simply executing his vision and it was an honor and an eduction working with him. Which brings me to:
The Girl WIth the Dragon Tattoo. Atticus and I are hard at work scoring David’s next film, which will be opening this Christmas. We’ve been composing quite a bit of music for this and have just begun to see some of what’s been shot. Trust me when I say this film (and of course the music!) will not disappoint.
Perhaps I misspoke on the red carpet or wherever it was I said the new How To Destroy Angels record is finished – it is not. We’ve been working since last summer on it and are due to mix it this summer for a fall release. We’ve spent a lot of time experimenting and finding our own sound and identity this time around and we’re very happy with the results. The three columns of things I’m currently funneling music into – HTDA, NIN and film work – I believe will start to make more sense to you (and me) as everything unfolds. By having a few different outlets for my work I’m finding more inspiration within each one. No, Nine Inch Nails is not dead and I plan to focus on that next.
And finally, I am friends with Timur Bekmambetov. He’s an interesting and very talented director that caught my attention with his film Night Watch (check it out if you haven’t). He asked me if I was interested in scoring his new film he’s doing with Tim Burton entitled “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter”. I was familiar with the book, read the script and it felt like an interesting challenge as a composer – very different from the Fincher films. While discussing the film with Timur he started gently pressing me to play a small role in the film. The idea was a cameo-esque role that would be kept under wraps and be a surprise around opening night. I was considering this when I awoke a few days ago to the news I am now STARRING in ALVH (which is obviously not true). Fuck. We both apparently forgot the internet existed AND THERE ARE NO SURPRISES anymore.
So… do me a favor and act surprised, OK?

Yay!! This is a LOT of great news!! Not only will Trent and Atticus be working their magic on the score to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo but his confirmation that he will be making a cameo in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is just … too amazing! On the music front, we can look forward to the release of the debut album by his new band How To Destroy Angels in the Summer and the promise of new Nine Inch Nails music soon after. It really sounds like homie has been inspired as of late … and we will all benefit as a result. Great update, great stuff to look forward to. Woot!!

Early last week we got to hear, in full, Willow Smith‘s second single 21st Century Girl. Today we get to see the music video for the track. In the clip, the legendary actress Cicely Tyson makes a cameo … cuz when you’re the daughter of two of the most famous actors in the world, you can pull a few strings for your music videos. Back in January we got to see photos from the vid shoot, so it’s cool to see the final product. I’m loving the storyline of this video. Little Willow pulling an entire city out of the sand is a pretty dope concept. Watch the video and see for yourselves:

Britney Spears and Madonna will share dual covers for Out magazine’s first-ever Ladies We Love issue. Today we get to check out a sneak peek at Britney‘s appearance in the mag and learn more about the inaugural issue of Ladies We Love by Out magazine.

For the first time in Out’s history, we’re dedicating our entire April issue to the women who inspire, scandalize, educate, and excite us — in a different way than they excite the other boys. And we’re celebrating the landmark moment with another first for us — two different covers. One will feature the indelible Britney Spears shot exclusively for Out by Ruven Afanador and the other will feature never-seen-before photos of Madonna shot by photographer Richard Corman in 1982 just months before her career skyrocketed. What a great photo … and what a great idea by Out to feature the Queens of Pop in dual coverphotos. I can’t wait to see more from this shoot and I am terribly curious of the “never-seen-before” photos of Madonna from way back in the day. Watch: Charlie Sheen Debuts ‘Sheen’s Korner’ Episode 2

Yesterday we got to watch the first installment of Charlie Sheen‘s new webseries called Sheen’s Corner and, as you may recall, that video was a 53-minute garbled mess of Sheen and his cohorts just trying to make up a talk show on the fly. Today we get to watch the 2nd episode of Sheen’s Corner, titled Torpedoes of Truth, and thankfully this one is much shorter (clocking in at about 13 minutes). This installment of Sheen‘s craziness features a lot of strong language so it’s prolly NSFW … watch the ep below.


While the first episode of Sheen’s Corner just rambled on and on and ended up a nonsensical and sometimes boring waste of time, this clip is more concise … and just … bizarre. Without question, Charlie Sheen has a lot of crazy left in him … and my guess is that he is going to take his sweet time sharing all of his insanity with all of us. But, IMHO, he needs to capitalize on the attention he is getting right now (Winning t-shirts, anyone?) because his new found fame is starting to die down. In one month’s time, I doubt anyone will even care about how crazy Charlie Sheen is anymore. Even after only 2 eps of this Ustream show … I’m kinda already over the whole thing. Sheen is going to have to up the ante of his insanity if he wants to keep people’s attention … let’s just hope he doesn’t take things too far :(

Jude Law Enjoys Carnival In Rio De Janeiro With One Of His Bros

When last we saw Jude Law out and about he was almost completely wrapped in plastic on the San Francisco, CA set of his new film Contagion a few weeks ago … but today we get to see photos of the man wearing much less clothing — plastic or otherwise. As you may recall, in early February we learned the sad news that he and Sienna Miller had broken up … but the split is, apparently, not keeping Jude down. He has made his way to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil for Carnival this weekend and was spotted chillin’ at his hotel with one of his bros. I’m not exactly sure of the state of Jude‘s bromance with this guy but his shirtlessness implies that the guys are at the very least BFF.

He’s had a tough few weeks after breaking up with Sienna Miller. But Jude Law finally had a smile on his face again as he headed to Rio De Janeiro to join in the Carnival festivities. Taking a break from filming his latest movie Contagion in San Francisco, the 38-year-old popped down to Brazil. Enjoying the balmy temperatures, the actor was spotted topless as he chatted to a male friend on the balcony of his hotel. But he later swapped his bare torso for a bright red Brahma beer T-shirt as he landed a coveted ticket to the company sponsored VIP area at the Sambadrome to watch the parade. The Alfie star was spotted quaffing glasses of beer as he watched the scantily-clad dancers show off their moves … Reports soon after the January break-up claimed Law had been left ‘stunned’ by the sudden split … His appearance at the Carnival came just a few days after his ex broke her silence on their split, insisting it was ‘amicable and mutual’. She told Time Out London: ‘When two people have separated and have both stated that it’s amicable and mutual yet, regardless of that, it’s not a nice feeling to have people talk about you behind your back and for it not to be true and for you not to be able to retaliate.’

Boo. I’m still bummed that JuSie broke up … I really liked them together and was sure they were headed for wedded bliss. But, alas, ’twasn’t meant to be. I’m sure Jude had a great time at Carnival this weekend, even if he was Sienna Miller-less.

Ryan Reynolds Is The HOT Face Of Hugo Boss Cologne

In February of 2010 we learned that actor Ryan Reynolds, who is rumored to be hooking up romantically with German model Agnes Fischer in the wake of his split with wife Scarlett Johansson, was named as the new celebrity spokesman for Hugo Boss. It appears that Ryan is extending his time as Boss spokesmen as he is featured in a new ad campaign for the Hugo Boss fragrance Boss Bottled. Night. Ryan‘s hotness is featured in both an international print campaign as well as a video commercial campaign, both you can check out below.


Le sigh. The man sure does look good when he’s all spiffied up in swanky clothes, don’t he? But, as good as he looks in this photo I personally think he looks even better in the video commercial:


This video is hot … but doesn’t the girl in the clip remind you a bit of Ryan‘s soon-to-be ex-wife Scarlett Johansson? HMMMM. In any event, Ryan makes a really great spokesmodel for Hugo Boss. I love this new campaign, don’t you?

The Lindsay Lohan Surveillance Video Has Been Released

Yesterday we learned that the surveillance video tape which allegedly shows Lindsay Lohan stealing a $2,500. necklace had been sold to a media outlet by the owner of the jewelry store … an act which has jeopardized the LA prosecutor’s case against Lindsay for felony grand theft. Today we get to see a few screencaps from that video, courtesy of Entertainment Tonight, and we learn that the video itself will be made available for viewing online at NecklaceVideo.com

ET has obtained exclusive photos of Lindsay Lohan taken from actual surveillance camera footage at the California jewelry store where she allegedly stole a $2,500 necklace. The Hollywood star is clearly visible in the photos, which show her shopping around the store and trying on jewelry pieces. Lohan was charged earlier this month with one count of felony grand theft in connection with the alleged theft. Lohan and her lawyer have maintained the actress is innocent. The day after Lohan was charged in court, she spoke out on her Twitter page, saying: ” fyi- i would never steal, in case people are wondering. I was not raised to lie, cheat, or steal.” The movie star pleaded not guilty to the felony grand theft charge, but Judge Keith Schwartz let Lohan know point blank that if she accepts a plea deal she would be serving jail time.

Of course it’s impossible to tell what exactly is going on in just these 3 screencaps … it does look like Lindsay is putting on the necklace, tho. We’ll have to wait until the actual video is made available to make a better determination but still, even then, we can’t really be sure if any thievery is actually going down. The website NecklaceVideo.com has gone online and it promises to make the video available soon:

There has been a tremendous amount of media speculation about an incident which took place on January 22, 2011 at a Venice, California jewelry store named Kamofie and Company. As a result of the incident, actress Lindsay Lohan has been charged by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office for alleged felony theft of a diamond necklace. Speculation as to what occurred that day has been the subject of intense rumor in the media and elsewhere. Many individuals want to be able to see the video streams from the jewelry store's surveillance cameras, and we have obtained the exclusive license for them. The tapes speak for themselves. We plan to release the video streams at this site shortly. Please stay tuned for more information and bookmark this site.

It remains to be seen what the release of this video will mean for Lindsay and any possible jailtime she might face … but it’s totally unsurprising to me that this alleged necklace heist has seemingly turned into a 3-ring circus.
