Kanye's "Monster" Video BANNED By MTV, Kanye Rolls To Paris Fashion Week

Wondering why you still haven't seen Kanye, Jay, Ricky Ross and Nicki Minaj's controversial "Monster" video on tv?  It may be because MTV has banned it, thanks to protests from feminists groups.

 

Read on for what the feminine activists took issue with, plus pics of Kanye at Paris fashion week, when you read on...

A petition was submitted to MTV (and likely other music channels) by feminine activists Sharon Haywood and Melinda Tankard to not show Kanye and co's "Monster" video.  And it looks like the networks are choosing their battles--and Kanye's vid is not gonna win it.

Reportedly, MTV has agreed not to air the video.  Here's the activists' stance:

“The mainstreaming of videos like this increases desensitized and callous attitudes toward violence against women,” said Reist, one of the campaign originators.

“Young people are seeing images and absorbing harmful messages which glamorize misogyny and brutalize women. Women are reduced to sex-doll like playthings. So great is the level of desensitization that the barbaric treatment of women and girls is seen as normal and to be expected. We decided to run this campaign because we wanted to challenge the status quo.”

Just hours before actress and former talk show host Rolonda Watts was arrested on a DUI charge, TheYBF.com caught up with her on the NAACP Image Awards red carpet.

Before heading into the Awards show at L.A.'s Shrine Auditorium, the "Love The Girl" actress stopped to chat with TheYBF.com on the red carpet about her new tv show role and how honored she was to be at such an event.  Just hours later, Ms. Watts was arrested for DUI while driving home.

Peep the vid above.  Was this pre-drinks/substance?  Hmmm..

Oh, and there's video of her getting cuffed on the street.  Her bail was set at $15,000.  Damn Ro.  Never thought I'd see the day...

Mary J. Blige Puts 25-Room $14 Millie Mansion Up For Sale!

If you've got about $14 million burning a hole in your pocket...you might want to cop Mary J. Blige's Saddle River, NJ mansion.  After purchasing it 3 years ago, Mrs. Blige is ready to have it taken off her hands.

 

The deets on her fab mansion inside...

Mary copped this humble abode back in March of 2008.  The estate sits on the riverfront of Saddle River, NJ and has 25 rooms, 8 bedrooms, and 8 bathrooms with 3 half baths.  All the other goodies according to the property listing:

It was built by Pinnacle Companies. The home, which was a spec home, was put on the market back in 2008 for $17 million and then dropped to $13.9 million. Mary then scooped it up in March of 2008 for roughly $12.3 million in cash. The 18,250 square foot mansion boasts 25 rooms including 8 bedrooms, 8 full and 3 half bathrooms, formal living and dining rooms, gourmet kitchen, breakfast room, family/hearth room, library, billiards room, 14-seat home theater, gym, wine tasting room, elevator, indoor basketball court, a swimming pool with cabana, grand terrace and a 6-car garage.

She's selling it for $13.9 millie.

Rolonda Watts Arrested For DUI!

Former talk show host Rolonda Watts was arrested this morning on a DUI charge!  Deets inside...

 

TMZ reports that Rolonda Watts was busted at 1:30 AM for DUI in Hollywood.  She was booked into jail in Van Nuys at 4:07 AM and is currently being held on $15,000 bail.

 

Ro, who was spotted at the 42nd NAACP Awards post-show last night, was a correspondent for "Inside Edition," and hosted her own talk show, "The Rolonda Show." She currently hosts an Internet talk show, called “A BraveHearTView.”

Mashonda Writes An Open Letter About Her Family Life + Allen Iverson Faces Foreclosure + Taraji Lands A Lead Role

With the debut of VH1's new reality show, Love & Hip-Hop,  less than two weeks away, Mashonda has taken to media outlets to discuss how her family life has changed since the taping of the show. Plus read on to find out the new financial problems Allen Iverson is facing and the lead role Taraji P. Henson has landed... 

Mashonda wrote an open letter to Allhiphop.com to discuss what she has learned since the taping of her new reality show:

As I reflect on my life, I realize how truly blessed I am.  Not only am I the proud mother of my 4-year son Kasseem, I also now have a beautiful blended family to share in his love, development and overall health as a young man. As we grow and mature as women, even through break-ups and sometimes divorce, we realize that none of these things compare to the love we have for our children.  As a mother, Kasseem's happiness is the single most important thing in my life.  It took some time, but I now realize that even my former husband and his new wife, are my partners in this wonderful journey.
 When the television show debuts in less than two weeks, you will witness a time in our lives when emotions were extremely high.  It is based on where we were emotionally at that time.
 Since then, we have grown and matured for the sake of our children, but more importantly, because it is the right thing to do.  In life, you never know how you will react to certain challenges.  A person's true character however, we've all learned, is not based on what happens to us in life, but how we respond.Swizz is an amazing father.  When I look into Kasseem's eyes, I see the joy in his heart by having such a wonderful, blended family that loves him so much.  As this blended family of ours continues to grow, I look forward to the months and years ahead raising our children together as one.
 The future is bright and all of our experiences as a family have gotten us to this wonderful point in our lives.

I never really liked the idea of celebs exposing personal details about their lives through a reality show. But I'm glad Mashonda is embracing her blended family despite having had a very rough and public divorce year last. Will you be tuned in for the new show?

Taraji P. Henson has snagged a lead role on the small screen. Taraji will be playing a detective name Carter on a new show called Person Of Interest on CBS. According to New York Magazine, the show is about an ex-CIA agent who is recruited by a crazy billionaire to help fight crime in New York City.

In sports related  news...

Allen "The Answer" Iverson is facing foreclosure on his Cherry Hills mega-mansion. The Denver Post reports that the ex Nuggets player bought the 6,848-square-foot six-bedroom, nine-bathroom spread for $3.875 million in January 2008, but stopped making payments which led to an outstanding balance of $2,572,914 owed to Wells Fargo Bank.

Meanwhile, Iverson is back in the United States trying to recuperate from a calcium depost in his leg. He was playing overseas for the Besiktas of the Turkish League after the NBA refused to offer him a contract.

Hopefully, Allen recovers soon and settles his financial woes.

Rumors have been swirling since February that Rihanna will grace the cover of American VOGUE's April 2011 issue.  Rih confirmed it by tweeting at the end of February that she had just wrapped her first VOGUE cover shoot. 

 

But now, The YBF has exclusively learned just which UBER sexy theme Rihanna will be working out.  And it's sure to get tongues wagging.  Read on for the deets...

TheYBF.com has confirmed that not only is Rihanna set to cover the APRIL 2011 cover of VOGUE magazine--yes, the fashion bible--but she purposely did a shoot that will cause a publicity stir.

We've learned that this shoot was a slight departure from VOGUE's usual appetite for a beautiful engaging fashion focus.  Instead, they want to get tongues wagging as this is the annual SKIN issue.  And Rihanna is showing A LOT of it.

Rih shot her cover and titillating spread with famed photographer Annie Leibovitz back in February. 

The "S&M" singer has gone topless and S&Mish before...but we're told this particular sexy and revealing shoot will definitely cause a stir.

The APRIL 2011 issue hits stands in a few weeks.  We'll be waiting.  Stay tuned for the first photos!
