The YBF moms took their kiddies out and about yesterday.  Holly Robinson Peete took Ryan out for some shopping.  And Wendy Williams rolled into Florida with Little Kevin to kick off her new summer tour.

Ryan's growing up so fast!  The 13-year-old is just as tall as her mom and is looking prettier than ever.  "The Talk" co-host Holly brought her daughter out for some shopping in Beverly Hills yesterday:

And then they hit Holly's luncheon she hosted at Fig & Olive on Melrose launching Family Craft Night.

And down in Florida...

Wendy Williams is welcomed by a large crowd as she kicks off her 'Say It Like You Mean It Summer Tour' at the Pembroke Lakes Mall.

And she brought her son Lil Kevin...who's not so little anymore...along with her.

LOVEY DOVEY: NFL Baller Justin Forsett Makes Musical Love Note For Wife Angela On Their One-Year Anniversary

Well isn't this sweet. In honor of their one-year anniversary, Seattle Seahawks running back Justin Forsett recorded a video love poem for his wife Angela. Watch the cute digital term of endearment inside....

 

Proving there's at least some athletes who aren't scared of making public love claims for their wives, Justin Forsett expressed his love of wife Angela (on their one-year anniversary) by recording a digital love song about his feelings. He even added a mid-song rap featuring four of his teammates.

Wife Angie played college volleyball (they met at University of California while Justin played football), and her dad is a former NBA player. She's now a professional volleyball coach for the All-America team and a member of the US Olympic team.

On the heels of the release of shocking audio of Nicki Minaj's attack in a Dallas hotel, the blonde haired performer hit the stage at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park this morning.  And she rocked the stage in a clear plastic skirt, printed leggings, pink latex jacket, and a barely-there tank top.  And she had a bit of a boob-slip on stage.

Nicki opened up with a short number involving chomping on a fried turkey leg.  Alrighty.  And her boobs popped out of her tiny tank top too.  It's always good to wear a bra when doing that much hopping aound...perky implants or not.  Click the images for the uncensored pics:

 

Oh Nicki.  During her interview with Robin Roberts, Nicki confirmed that she's filming a voiceover for the upcoming Ice Age 4 movie.  And there was a lot going on with the theatrics during her interview.  Not my cup-o-tea but her sold-out crowd of fans (GMA required fans to get (free but with a surcharge) tickets to enter) seemed to love it.

The Pink Friday artists responded to her fans beforehand who told her they had been standing in line for hours awaiting her performance:

Dear Barbz in Central Park, if it makes u feel any better, I haven't gotten any sleep either. I DEF wouldn't have been able to get outa bed!

And afterwards she tweeted:

EVENT FAB: Laura Govan & The Cast of "BBW: LA" Pre-Party To Kick off Their Season

And so it begins.  Laura Govan hosted a "Welcome to L.A." party attended by the cast of "Basketball Wives: L.A." last night.  See the pics inside...

Last night, reality tv chick, and mother of Magic baller Gilbert Arenas' 4 kids, Laura Govan, hosted a "Welcome To Los Angeles" benefiting the East Oakland Youth Development at Code C in Los Angeles.

"BBW:LA" cast member Malaysia Pargo was there.

Tanya Williams, Jason Williams' ex-wife who he's trying to keep off the show, was also there.  Guess those lawsuit threats didn't work.

Draya Michele came out to support her castmate Laura:

So is "Nathaniel Jr." her son...for this tattoo to be big as all hell on the back of her neck?  The same 7-year-old son who she was arrested for child endangerment over after leaving him home alone overnight while she worked her job at the strip club?  Hope so...

Castmate Jackie Christie also supported the event.

David Rowe provided nibbles.

Afterwards Regina and publicist Laura Wright posed with the "BBW: LA" cast (Draya, Jackie, Malaysia, Laura and Tonya).  I can only imagine the type of drama et to pop off.  And I wonder where to HBIC of this cast, Gloria Govan, happened to be last night.  Hmmm....

BEYONCE: Women Who Never Hang With Other Women Scare Me!

You've seen Beyonce's brand new spread for Harper's Bazaar UK magazine's September 2011 issue.  And now we've got some excerpts from her cover story.

 

Bey opens up about the necessity of her feminist movement, female friendships, her bestie Gwyneth Paltrow, and turning 30.  Check it...

In the September issue of Bazaar UK, after shooting a spread with famed photog Alexi Lubomirski at the Ritz hotel in Paris, Beyonce opened up about female empowerment..and how it almost gets her in trouble. Here's some excerpts:

On her powerful performance of "Irreplaceable" on stage in Egypt

"There were a lot of women in the audience in burkas. They were singing along to Irreplaceable – it was amazing!  Some of the men got really upset! They were like to their women, 'We have to get you out of here!'....I guess some of them (men) do get annoyed. But I never want to do "the banner thing".

On being proud of her feminist outlook

"I don’t really feel that it’s necessary to define it. It’s just something that’s kind of natural for me, and I feel like...you know...it’s, like, what I live for.  I need to find a catchy new word for feminism, right? Like Bootylicious."
 

On the importance of having female friends, especially like her bestie Gwyneth Paltrow

"I’m afraid when women never hang around with other women. That’s a little scary to me – why is that? [Gwyneth] pushes her boundaries all the time. You go to her house and she makes you feel like you never want to go home. She is what I strive to be one day."
 

On being excited to enter her 30's

'This is such a pivotal moment in my life! I’m transitioning as a woman, and I’m finally able to express myself as I am.'

It's disgusting how hot this chick's body is.  Rihanna was spotted parlaying it up in her home country of Barbados Thursday afternoon ahead of Friday night's big concert.

OH SNAP: Nicki Minaj's 9-1-1 Call, Screams "What You Hittin' Me For?!"

The 9-1-1 call has just been released of Nicki Minaj's scuffle with "a mystery male" that happened a few weeks ago.  And it's pretty strong evidence that the man Nicki was fighting with was indeed her man Safaree.

 

Peep the emotional audio inside...

Just as previously reported in the police document, a hotel employee (front desk manager) was summoned to Nicki's room when an argument escalated with a man whom she claims "she's not in a relationship with."

Arguing can be heard in the background of the front office manager's phone after he calls the police department.  Nicki sounds extremely scared screaming:

"Why you hittin' me?! Why you hittin' me?!"

Then she goes to the manager saying, "Look what he did to my face! Look what he did to my face!"

And the the male voice can be heard screaming:

"This my luggage! I want my fu*kin money!  Give me my mutha fuc*in suitcase...."

Nicki claimed in the police report that "the man's" suitcase hit her in the face when he was attempting to grab it from her. 

You can also here on the audio the officer confirming it's "Nicki Minaj's group" and "she got hit in the face by someone."

Even though Safaree (her hype man/boyfriend) claims he did nothing to her (and even wore a shirt saying DON'T BELIEVE THE BLOGS), we're pretty positive it's his voice we hear prominently arguing with Nicki.  You can compare it with his speaking voice in Nicki's recent MTV documentary HERE.  Scroll to the 2:45 mark.

Viola Davis And Octavia Spencer Cover "Entertainment Weekly", Defend Playing Maids In "The Help"

The Help actresses Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer cover the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly (on stands Friday) along with their co-star Emma Stone.  Find out what Viola and Octavia had to say about their controversial roles in The Help to "EW" and TIME magazines....

 

Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer join their co-star Emma Stone on the cover of the latest Entertainment Weekly this week. 

In the mag, the trio discussed their new controversial film The Help which centers on household employees (i.e. black maids) who share stories about the families they work for in 1960s Jackson, MS.  But the movie has attracted  criticism for both Octavia and Viola who play "maids" in the movie.

While discussing her role in the film, Octavia said,

“I am thrilled to be playing this woman. She is a human being with the breadth and depth of emotions, and she is a contributing member of society. It should not be ‘Why is Viola Davis playing a maid in 2011?’ I think it should be ‘Viola Davis plays a maid and she gives the f—ing performance of her life.’”

And Viola also addressed the controversy saying,

 “There are few movies coming out this year with African-American women in them. Very few are being made. Black actresses have enough obstacles in our way without someone protesting an opportunity for us to show our work on screen. It’s one thing if you go see The Help and you don’t like it. But give it a chance!”

 

And Viola echos her own statements in an upcoming interview for TIME Magazine that hits stands tomorrow. She summed up the furor over the "maid" role saying, 

"The thing about the African-American community compared with the white community is, we are more concerned with image and message than execution,’ she says. ‘I don't play roles that are necessarily attractive or portray a positive image. They are well-rounded characters. When you squelch excellence to put out a message, it's like passing the baton and seeing it drop.’"

Sounds like Viola wants fans to know that these women are important characters and you have to look past their occupation to see the full picture. 

I hope it does well for them at the box office as its success could open more doors for Black actresses.

Kelly Rowland Opens Up On "TODAY", Kicks Off The "Back To School" Season With Boys & Girls Club

Earlier today, Kelly Rowland appeared on the "TODAY" Show where she talked about her new album, dismissed rumors of a Destiny's Child reunion and promoted her charity work with The Boys & Girls Club of America.  Watch the interview and see Kelly's charity work in action inside....

This morning, Kelly Rowland stopped by 30 Rock to chat with Kathie Lee and Hoda Kotb about her career and charity work.  Though she appeared on the show to promote her charity work for The Boys & Girls Clob of America, KL & H got her to talk about her album's success, being the face of Sean John's "Empress" fragrance, and rumors of a Destiny's Child reunion. 

The "Motivation" singer dismissed the rumors, saying the trio have not talked about reuniting (but didn't deny Mathew Knowles was working on it already himself like he said).

Great to see Ms. Rowland giving back to the community and looking so fab as she does it.

Last night, a bunch of YBF celebs turned out for The Common Good Cocktail Party at the Library Bar in the Paramount Hotel in Manhattan.  

Rachel Roy donned her yellow lens sunglasses and a sleek pantsuit for the event.  Haven't seen yellow lenses since the early 90's.  Wish they could stay there.

And Jessica White worked her supermodel assets in a bright canary yellow dress.

Blast from the past, MTV veejay Downtown Julie Brown worked a pink dress with a green floral pattern.

And Angela Simmons worked her bob and bangs as she caught up on her summer reading.

And she posed with designer Charlotte Ronson.

The 11th Annual Harold Pump Foundation hosted their gala at the Hyatt Regency in Century City, California with some of America's finest athletes.

Magic Johnson was among the attendees and he posed with Holly Robinson.

"The Talk" co-host looked radiant in a long gown with a small train. 

Boxing champ Sugar Ray Leonard posed with his wife Bernadette Robi.

TV personality Shaun Robinson posed with Kenya Moore.

Quinton Aaron attended the gala.
