After years of ignoring his diabetes, funny man Tracy Morgan had to cop a new kidney this week.

Tracy Morgan is recovering after undergoing a kidney transplant.

The actor reportedly had the surgery on Dec. 10, and will be missing from at least two upcoming episodes of “30 Rock” as he recovers.

Entertainment Weekly reports that executive producer Tina Fey and her writing team plan to address Morgan’s absence by saying his character, Tracy Jordan, has some sort of a meltdown because of a good thing that’s happened to him.

He’s expected to miss at least two or three episodes that will air March, according to the report.

A rep for Morgan released a statement to EW, saying, “Tracy is doing well and taking some much needed time to recover after the surgery. He is looking forward to going back to work after the holidays.”

The actor was spotted at a New York Knicks game on Friday.

Doesn’t sound like he was too bad. But we’re glad he’s on his way to doing better.

Daddy doesn’t seem so stingy anymore. The Columbia University student who allegedly told a cop that he was dealing drugs because his father — a prominent cosmetic surgeon — wouldn’t pay his tuition was released from jail yesterday after Pop posted bail, authorities said.

Harrison David, 20, was freed after spending two weeks behind bars — for allegedly selling cocaine, pot, LSD and pills — when Dr. Dave David, of Norfolk, Mass., finally paid the $75,000 bail.

The dad, who appears as a medical analyst on local TV, disputed his son’s claim, saying he’s paid his son’s tuition “since Day One.”The other four students busted in “Operation Ivy League” had all previously been sprung on bail.

Damn, lil spoiled f*cks see what it’s like for real to be “dope boys” minus the glory.

Brown received the certificate earlier today — thus satisfying another requirement from the Rihanna case.

Dwyane Wade took a break from the game to shoot the upcoming cover of Monarch Magazine. At first glance, Dwyane Wade definitely catches the eye looking quite debonair in his grey suit with compliments of pink until you spot the crusty white chap on his lips… Photoshop doesn’t cost that much does it???

D. Wade Speaks on Foundation:

In 2003, Dwyane founded the Wade's World Foundation which provides support to community- based organizations that promote education, health and social skills for children in at-risk situations. Wade was inspired to start the foundation because he wanted to give back to underserved communities and support issues of purpose. At the tender age of seven Wade had a revelation; he questioned why no celebrities came back to his neighborhood to give back. Growing up in Chicago, he says "I've seen the worst for a kid – I've seen the gangs and the drugs and the shootings. So I will always been involved and try to stop those things from happening." It was as a child he decided that if he ever made it, he would do great things for his community. "Yeah, the foundation is something I've always had in my heart because of where I came from," says Wade. I just always wanted to give kids an opportunity. So this foundation gives to kids in need." He further states, "I feel the need to give kids other opportunities in life to be able to succeed."

"Currently, Chicago, Miami and Milwaukee are the three main cities, but also we like to do something during All- Star in that host city and in a few other cities I go to throughout the year." Some of the events the foundation supports, for example, are free basketball camps for nearly 600 youth from Robbins, Illinois. In 2007, Wade hosted "A Week of Wade's World in South Florida" – a week long series of events and appearances that touched hundreds of South Florida kids. With the goal of building a youth center in the area where he grew up, Wade will continue to support a variety of programs that inspire, uplift and motivate. "I did want it to be this way. I did want it to be focused on the kids. We always talk about what the president is doing or what our economy is doing, " Wade continues. "But we need to make sure we are doing our part in making this a better place and make sure our kids are better off than we are."

Bossip just got wind that Amber Rose has lost her modeling contract with Ford but that’s not stopping her from making moves. After being seen court side at the Knicks game and out with new cutty buddy Amare Stoudemire, Amber is supposedly filming a new reality show on VH1 called “Behind Her Shades”.

ust when you thought reality shows couldn't get any more intriguing (not) Kanye West's ex-girlfriend Amber Rose announces that she too is getting a piece of the reality show pie.

According to the model, her VH1 reality show "Behind Her Shades" will be based around her upcoming eyewear store opening in Las Vegas and will sell her own line along with some vintage sunnies.

We wish we had more info about the show, but seriously that's it. It's all about …shades.

We probably won’t be seeing Amber in any Louis Vuitton ads or editorial spreads anytime soon but the girl has turn her 15 minutes into a job… we won’t say career because that’s really stretching it.
