Parents Sue Rutgers University Over Son’s Sex Scandal Suicide

People will try to sue over any type of bullsh*t nowadays…

The parents of a Rutgers University student who killed himself after authorities said his roommate used a webcam to spy on his tryst with a man intend to sue the university.

The attorney for Tyler Clementi’s parents filed notice on Friday.

Attorney Stephen DeFeo says it appears Rutgers failed to implement or enforce policies that would have prevented or deterred such acts.

Rutgers spokesman E.J. Miranda told The Home News Tribune of East Brunswick the university sympathizes with the family. But Miranda says Rutgers is not responsible for the freshman’s death.

Clementi’s roommate, Dharun Ravi, and fellow freshman Molly Wei are charged with invasion of privacy and have withdrawn from Rutgers.

Clementi jumped to his death off the George Washington Bridge in September.

Is it sad that their son is dead? Yes. Is it totally out of pocket that these kids secretly taped him? HELL yeah! But is it the University’s fault? Are they to be held liable for the nosy-a** students that want to film gay sex? We think not…

New Jersey Nets star Kris Humphries is doing the right thing keeping up with Kim Kardashian. He’s hired a personal publicist to handle inquiries into his love life now that he’s dating the curvy reality star. Humphries tapped Eva Longoria’s rep, Liza Anderson. A source told us, “Kim is a master at her own publicity. Kris’ team wanted to make sure they get his message out. It was a decision by his management team.” Another source told us Humphries and Kardashian are working out plans to spend the holidays together around his team schedule. Anderson confirmed she’s working with Humphries.

SMH. So much for having a normal relationship…

It’s official. G-Dep has been indicted for murder and faces life after “confession”:

A Manhattan grand jury has indicted “G-Dep” for the 1993 murder that the hapless, Harlem-born rapper confessed to earlier this month. The rapper has now gone from being a free man — unsought in the cold-case shooting — to a no-bail defendant facing a maximum possible prison term of 25 years to life.

“He was making amends,” defense lawyer Michael Alperstein explained of his client’s confession, which he said was prompted by a 12-step narcotics program. “He didn’t know he’d killed somebody. He knew he’d done something wrong.”

G-Dep — a one-time P-Diddy protege — was last week catapulted to a fame he never enjoyed in rap after walking into the 25th police precinct and confessing to a cold-case shooting, only to be shocked to learn that his alleged victim had died and that he was now a murder suspect. He’d made the confession over the objections of loved ones,

“When they told me, I was like, ‘Oh, I’m not going home after this,’” G-Dep, real name Trevell Coleman, told The Post in an exclusive interview.

“I’m just trying to get right with God,” he explained of his confession.

Prosecutors say he faces up to life in prison.

DJ Cipha Sounds just found out that he’s not big enough to get away with offending a whole nationality of people with no penalty. And now his big mouth and wack azz joke have cost him his cushy gig at Hot 97 in New York… at least temporarily.

Hot 97 radio bosses indefinitely suspended DJ Cipha Sounds Tuesday as dozens of Haitian community leaders stepped up their calls for his resignation.

Activists and elected officials gathered outside the radio station on Hudson St. to voice their anger at the DJ’s on-air claim he is HIV-negative because he does not “mess with Haitian girls.”

Cipha Sounds later apologized to listeners, calling it a “tasteless joke,” and the station said he will begin sensitivity training focused on the Haitian community.

“Cipha made an immediate public apology and recognizes his insensitivity and the negative impact his comments have on all Haitians,” said Alex Cameron, SVP/Market Manager of Emmis-New York.

Haitian-Americans said an apology was not enough.

He “said it was a joke. That was not a joke, that was a serious insult,” said Haitian-born City Councilman Mathieu Eugene.

Don’t get gassed indeed, Cipha. Oh, and you might want to stay out of Brooklyn… and Queens. And Miami. And Boston.

You would hope that after all the country of Haiti has endured over the past couple of years, the people who come to voltunteer and provide assistance would do so in good spirit and kind heart. Unfortunately, there are some sick f*cking people in the world and Douglas Perlitz is one of them.

An American school founder who young Haitian men once hailed as a savior was sentenced Tuesday to nearly 20 years in prison for sexually abusing them.

Douglas Perlitz, 40, was sentenced in federal court in New Haven, Connecticut, to 19 years and 7 months behind bars for abusing the Haitian men when they were boys under his care, said Bruce Foucart, special agent in charge of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Homeland Security Investigations in Boston.

Sounds a LOT like ~~Eddie Long~~ a certain minister from Atlanta.

“I thanked God when I met Douglas,” said Jean-Charles. “But when things started to turn bad, I realized it would have been better if I never came to PPT.”

Perlitz wore a watch that lit up and at night, he used it to seek out the boys, they said. Fredlin Legrand said he woke up to see Perlitz next to him.

“He gave me a pill that made me fall asleep and when I woke up, I found my pants covered in sperm,” Legrand told CNN.

Jean-Charles and a dozen other boys told CNN they were routinely raped by Perlitz for years. But they were afraid to speak out against the man who had been such a boon for the city.

Our thing about it is…how does this guy rape children, give them drugs, and only get 19 years and 7 months?!?!?

Sources also claim that the Louis Vuitton store was shut down so that the two ~~gag~~ love birds could shop in peace…
